The motor yacht PAOLYRE is a 33 m 107 (foot) well proportioned aluminium boat which was developed at Ocea Shipbuilding and her design plans were devised by Joubert-Nivelt. Sleeping 10 passengers and 4 crew, motor yacht PAOLYRE was registered as Marhaba. This balanced superyacht was designed with the naval architecture of Joubert-Nivelt. Owner acted on the interior design.

The New Build & Yacht Design relating to Luxury Yacht PAOLYRE

Joubert-Nivelt was the naval architect firm involved in the formal vessel plans for PAOLYRE. Her interior design was realised by Owner. Joubert-Nivelt is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. Created by Ocea Shipbuilding this vessel was completed in France. She was officially launched in Les Sables D'olonne in 2008 before being transferred to the owner. The core hull was built out of aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure component is made predominantly using aluminium. With a beam of 6.8 metres / 22.3 ft PAOLYRE has reasonable interior. She has a shallow draught of 1.9m (6.23ft).

Powered by twin CATERPILLAR diesel engines, PAOLYRE is able to attain a high speed of 18 knots. Coupled to the PAOLYRE engines are twin screw propellers. Super Yacht PAOLYRE Charter brief: PAOLYRE (32.8m / 108’), is a fully customised mega charter yacht, launched by the French Shipyard OCEA from Les Sables D'olonne back in 2008. Her naval architects and designers from Joubert/Nivelt made her retro lines and Art Deco style interior an important feature too.   Built out of aluminium (hull and superstructure) and stainless steel (deck fittings and hardware) the Architectural Deco & Frédérique Maisons interior designers also used rare marbles and precious high quality woods for the design of luxury interior and the decks. First and foremost she was designed as a world ocean yacht in order to be able to withstand the most difficult sea conditions while provide full safety to the yacht charter clients in greatest comfort possible. A super yacht crew of around 5-6 will provide high end luxury service to all 10 yacht charter guests who will be accommodated in one of the luxury cabins, including an owner suite and a VIP cabin. The yacht is usually based in the East Caribbean and charters out of Leeward, Windward or Virgin Islands.

About Super Yacht PAOLYRE: Super yacht PAOLYRE is both solid and stylish ocean-going, semi-displacement yacht with large windows, an upper saloon offering exceptional panoramic views and excellent fuel efficiency. Her aft deck features a usual seating area with a large table for 8 guests while the fixed sunroof covers almost the whole upper deck, which can also easily be enclosed if elements demands so. The entertainment and relaxation areas on deck are large and spacious and crucially can be converted to suit the occasion. The surrounding views are great from most angles of the boat, especially when at anchor in a picture perfect Caribbean anchorage. In the interior, PALYORE offers plenty of space too. The lounge area in the wheelhouse and the master cabin are in particular quoted as most popular areas. The yacht features an open layout with the interior furnished with wooden floor, unique velvet upholstery for the salon which is divided from the dining area by a large glass door. The dining table seats up to 8 adult guests comfortably and the adjacent bar is very convenient for both guests as well as crew.  The interior of this area features all the latest technology including SAT LCD TV and Bosé hi-fi system amongst others. The panoramic lounge next to the wheelhouse and large, elongated windows throughout allow guests to enjoy cruising and lovely views during the cruise too.

PAOLYRE is also ideal for corporate and event charters, as she has different gathering areas, all separated from each other. The top deck is covered by a hard top and it will be easy to fully enclose it and create another large area for cocktail parties during events. The yacht was also very recently featured in various super yacht magazines. Accommodation: Luxury motor yacht PAOLYRE can accommodate 10 yacht charter guests in 5 luxury cabins. The guests have access to three double and two twin cabins.   The size of the twin cabins is not the greatest however so an ideal charter party would consist of 6-8 adults and 2-4 children. The master cabin is decorated in a combination of Eastern and Western cultures with lovely features throughout. There are two separate showers for those cabins. All cabins are en-suite and with their own individual air con and TV and Stereo entertainment systems. Luxury yacht PAOLYRE is a semi-displacement yacht, built by OCEA, France. At 32.7 meters, mega yacht PAOLYRE is both solid and stylish, and she is a hit in the Mediterranean yacht charter marketplace.

The aft deck of mega yacht PAOLYRE features a seating area with a large table for 8 guests.

The fixed sunroof covers almost the entire upper deck, which can also easily be enclosed.  In addition, there are 4 large sofas.  These are wide.  They are perfect for sunbathing.  Additionally, 4 dining tables lower and fold to become smaller cocktail tables.

This mega yacht offers exceptional panoramic views from the upper saloon (living room), the lounge area in the wheelhouse, and the master cabin. Like all true Mediterranean yacht charter vessels, there is a feeling of being close to the water and the guests can enjoy spectacular views at anchorage and also during cruising.

The luxury charter yacht features an open layout – the interior is furnished with wooden floor, brown velvet upholstery for the salon area, equipped with SAT flat screen TV and Bose hi-fi system and divided from the dining area by a large glass door. The dining area is equipped with a bar and there is an open country kitchen in stainless steel. The dining table seats 8 guests comfortably. The glass separation protects the salon area from noise and smell. The interior finish is a mixture of different dark woods, warm velvet upholstery, and cool stainless steel.

The wheelhouse is very large and includes a panoramic lounge area flanked by three full-height windows on both sides. The location plus the windows of this salon will allow guests to fully enjoy the scenery and itinerary while comfortably seated inside.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The charter yacht offers guest accommodation in 5 cabins with room for up to 10 guests. For maximum space and comfort, the ideal charter party would consist of 6 adults and 2 to 4 children.

The master cabin is beautifully decorated in a fusion of Eastern and Western influences. The walls are covered with real bamboo. The light green bedspread of the 1.80-meter wide double bed matches the green onyx that has been used for the walls and the floor of the bathtub and sink area. This area is open and not separated from the master cabin, thus making her look very wide. This impression is even underlined by the large windows in this cabin. A door separates the toilet and the shower. A lighting system underneath the bathtub changes colors into different moods.

DOUBLE STATEROOMS

Two double guest cabins (one bed is 1.6 meters wide, the other is 1.4 meters wide) have a wooden finish and their decor is more traditional. Both cabins have a bathroom with a shower ensuite. The further two cabins are equipped with upper and lower beds and are most appropriate for children. There are two separate showers for these cabins.

SPECIAL EVENT CHARTERS

This charter yacht is also ideal for static special event charters, as she offers different gathering areas, all separated from each other. The Monaco Grand Prix and the Cannes Film Festival come to mind, as well as the annual MIPIM and MIDEM congress.

The top deck is covered by a hardtop and can be fully enclosed to create another large area for cocktail parties during special event charters.

WATER SPORTS

For active guests, there is a wide assortment of watersport toys. The list includes a 4.1 meter tender with an 80 horsepower engine and room for 9 passengers; snorkeling equipment; 2 x two-person jet skis; a towable Donut; waterski equipment; a kayak; 2 folding bikes, and other inflatable toys.

OCEA motor yacht Paolyre sold

The 32.7 metre OCEA motor yacht Paolyre, listed for sale by Eric Trupheme at Ocean Independence , has been sold in an in-house deal.

Built in aluminium by French yard OCEA to a design by Joubert Nivelt and delivered in 2008, with a major refit in 2013/2014, Paolyre accommodates 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a master suite, two doubles and two twins, all with en suite bathroom facilities.

An open plan saloon on this yacht for sale has large windows, comfortable seating on settees and chairs upholstered in brown velvet along with an entertainment centre including a flat-screen television and Bose surround sound. Forward is a dining area with seating for eight guests.

Her aft deck offers a seating area with a large table for eight guests, while the upper deck is covered by a fixed sunroof and has six sofas and four dining tables, plus a grill, bar and Jacuzzi. This deck can be completely enclosed, making her ideal for large cocktail parties while moored at the dockside during events.  Paolyre is French commercial classed and MCA compliant.

Paolyre was built to explore the globe’s oceans, to face high seas and strong winds, while her guests relax in comfort. She has high quality stainless steel deck fittings and hardware and rare marbles and woods are used for the interior.

Twin 873hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Paolyre was asking €3,390,000.

Pleasantly surprised, service is good so is the food. Great selection of Fusion food, a mixture of Italian, Japanese, European, Asian etc. A pleasantly nice dining experience, highly recommended, a must try!

Had to wait for the food for 1.5 hours and then another 20 minutes for the check. Finally called for the manager and he offered... a 10% discount as a compensation. Simply pathetic! The food is mediocre at best. Not bad per se, but one... would expect something better considering the prices. There are many places to eat in area that are much better. Avoid this one at all costs. Food is very expensive,very pretentious, doesn't worth that money. Portions are very small. We ordered ravioli and there were 4! Four raviolis! For almost 15 euros. Then we asked to bring us dessert menu but nothing, they didn't even bothered, so we payed and left... without dessert. Very poor service for that price. More

This is a very good restaurant. The food is really good, maybe the best in Moscow. The service is also good. The view from the restaurant is great. The prices are very high.

Visited this lovely restaurant with a friend of mine. It was relaxingly warm August evening - so the place on the river seemed like a good idea. We came quite early and the restaurant was not full. The hostesses kindly offered several places to sit... and we chose to sit on the sofas. We had some wine, which was good. We struggled a bit when deciding about the food as few options (scallops) were not available. Fish on ice on display did not look very fresh. To be honest it was an unusually hot August and it is probably understandable that some see food options were not available. However, we did manage to order something and sat waiting and looking onto the river. My long-legged friend struggled sitting at the low sofa and the manager noticed that, offering as a very good, proper table beside the open window. It was nice touch and I was very pleased by their polite observations and immediate reaction to solve the problem. Food was quite good and presentation was perfect. Perhaps I can something about the food, but 1 visit is not enough to criticize or make a definitive opinion. Overall, quality place, which of course, does not come cheap. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. More

Moscow: City, Spectacle, Capital of Photography , an exhibition of 20th-century photographs of Moscow, opens at Columbia University's Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Art Gallery on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 and remains on display through Saturday, June 21, 2003.

Moscow has been a powerful magnet for many Russian photographers of the 20th century. Moscow: City, Spectacle, Capital of Photography presents the work of 31 photographers, whose images have defined the visual experience of Moscow from the 1920s to the present. Diverse in form and strategy, the 90 photographs chosen for the exhibition trace the history of Russian documentary photography and offer insight into individual practices. From Aleksandr Rodchenko's constructivist visions and Evgenii Khaldei's humanist landscapes to Igor Moukhin's scenes of urban spectacle and alienation in the works of Russia's key 20th-century photographers, Moscow ventures beyond the expected image as a site of famous landmarks, architectural treasures and dramatic lifestyles.

Early 20th-century photographers Boris Ignatovich and Arkadii Shaikhet saw themselves in the vanguard of an emerging mass-media culture, defining with their cameras the visual experience of Soviet modernity. For nearly 70 years, Soviet photography was assigned the duty of maintaining the ideological rigidity of the Soviet State. Yet, as examples of the work of Iakov Khalip, Anatolii Egorov, Mikhail Savin, and Mark Markov-Grinberg show, Soviet photographic practices were much more complex than has been previously acknowledged. The works of these photographers remain intensely compelling to a modernist eye.

Contemporary Russian photographers, such as Lev Melikhov, Valerii Stigneev and Sergei Leontiev, engage with the legacy of the Soviet documentary photography. But for them the documentary is a complex and multivalent genre, which incorporates subjectivity, ambiguity and reflexivity and comments on social and cultural issues without losing sight of the position from which that commentary is made. In the recent photographs by Vladimir Kupriyanov, Igor Moukhin, Anna Gorunova and Pakito Infante, the "real" space of Moscow is replaced by an imaginary and optical spaces of virtuality.

The works in the exhibition are on loan from Moscow's Cultural Center Dom, and many are being shown outside Russia for the first time. In conjunction with the exhibition, the Wallach Art Gallery is publishing an illustrated catalogue with a scholarly essay by the exhibition curator, Nadia Michoustina, a Ph.D. candidate in Columbia University's Department of Slavic Languages. The essay presents a nuanced history of Russian photography of the 20th century, and contributes to an interpretation of extraordinary images.
