This advanced model has grown from the experience of Sunreef’s design team in the super-yacht range and answers feedback from all the Sunreef 70 Sailing owners that are sailing all around the world, from Europe to China. This unit stands out with its unique, innovative features and new functional solutions enhancing the notion of on-board liveability. As usual at Sunreef Yachts , the customization and space arrangement possibilities are unlimited. The Sunreef 74 is an optimised yacht offering a perfectly balanced compromise between supreme comfort, performance and advanced technology.

PERFECT LINES

The sleek superstructure with vertical bows and limited freeboards has large glass curved windscreens, which highlight the classy lines of this dream yacht. The Sunreef 74 is an elegant catamaran with super-yacht features, intelligent space planning and a fully personalized interior finish.

SUPREME COMFORT ABOARD

Putting the pleasure of life to the fore, the Sunreef 74 model has reached a supreme level of sophistication offering an impressive 35m² saloon with a breathtaking 360° view. Elegant, modern, with its bright interiors, this yacht’s layout is entirely customizable. Her hulls are airy enough to contain a bright 20m² master cabin with a king size bed and a bath tub, two 14m² guest cabins, large crew quarters and a fully-equipped 10m² galley. The Sunreef 74 also features huge interior storage space, which makes her perfect for lengthy cruises, requiring additional food and equipment supplies. Outside, generous space is also available in the forepeaks and deck lockers for toys, fishing rods, diving gear, sails or fenders. The outside storage also includes an additional locker, big enough to hold kayaks and windsurfing boards.

EASY HANDLING & HIGH PERFORMANCE

The Sunreef 74 can be comfortably manoeuvred by two people in all offshore conditions, which, for instance, makes her ideal for couples sailing around the word, with little to no crew. I addition, all sails are handled from the flybridge navigation station. The mast aft has been moved as to allow the use of large head sails, providing more power and balance in reaching conditions. The boat’s long hulls and sporty lines increase the speed under sails and the self-tacking jib makes navigation even easier. Spinning the wheel is all that is left to do, the rest is automatic.

The mast, boom, crossbeams and even the tender lifting arms are built in carbon, which makes the Sunreef 74 Evolution light and quick, while remaining stable. The very first unit launched will also feature a carbon furling boom which will make all manoeuvres even easier.

The Sunreef 74 has a short 7-month delivery time.

DESCRIPTION

Launched in 2017, the Sunreef 74 Calmao is certainly unique in her design, however, what makes her truly stand out is her trailblazing anatomy captured in her hydraulic aft platform and front terrace.

The aft platform is a multipurpose trademark of all yachts from Sunreef Yachts which primarily serves as the launching system for a tender or jet ski but can also be used as a swimming or lounging platform depending on its position.

Besides this, the front terrace can be accessed directly from the saloon. This impressive outdoor lounging and entertaining area features sunpads, a comfortable sofa, and a table, providing perfect conditions for enjoying the breath-taking views or soaking up the sun in the company of friends and family.

This sailing catamaran boasts a family friendly layout, suited for hosting up to nine guests in two ensuite guest cabins, a generously sized master cabin with an impressive wardrobe space and a large bathroom, and an ensuite twin cabin with a Pullman bed perfect for four children or adults.

Calmao’s elegantly decorated saloon with a galley up offers a spacious lounging and dining area, designed keeping utmost comfort in mind. More about SY ORION - SUNREEF 74 sailing catamaran: SY ORION will be able to accommodate up to 10 guests on board, ideally 8 adults, 1 child plus 1 teenager or adult to be accommodate in a separate single en suite cabin in yachts' starboard forepeak. Her stylish interior is remarkable, chic and luxurious, dominated by dark blue and white hues in the starboard hull and turquoise and white portside.  The best of all as in any other luxury catamaran is her flybridge which will feature a Jacuzzi, barbeque and a convertible al-fresco dining table.  Seating on the aft deck is another fine alfresco dining area, ideal for formal meals or buffet breakfasts or indeed long night parties when starry sky lights featuring the constallation of Orion can be lit up.  As with all yachts of this size, water toys on offer are numerous and include latest gear such as powerful tender, water skis, surf boarding, snorkelling gear and even scuba diving. Your professional and very friendly superyacht crew of 4 will include a 5 - star service and gourmet chef as well as an experienced steward or butler.  Highest levels of service will be offered at all times from the moment you get in touch with the crew to your disembarkation. The prices: The ORION’S super yacht charter prices start from 37.000 Euros in the Mediterranean and from 45,000 US$/week in the Caribbean. The rates are always plus APA expenses. Sustainability at sea: Sunreef is integrating recycled plastic bottles into solar electric yachts

Sunreef Yachts is already a solar electric boatbuilder recognized for its sustainability efforts in the maritime industry but is now taking things a step greener. The company is now integrating recycled PET bottles into its solar electric yacht production process.

Sunreef Yachts  has been operating out of Gdansk, Poland, for over 20 years alongside a newer footprint established in the United Arab Emirates. From day one in 2002, Sunreef has been pushing the boundaries of sustainable marine travel, launching the world’s first 74-foot luxury oceangoing catamaran with a flybridge.

Sunreef Yachts currently has hundreds of its boats sailing waters across the globe, showcasing the company’s lineup of sustainable, all-electric propulsion and advanced solar panels. Its current portfolio consists of eco-friendly sailboats and  massive solar electric catamarans  ranging from 60 to 100 meters in length.

In April 2024, Sunreef introduced a new 40m electric yacht called the Eco Explorer . One month later, Sunreef shared a new sustainability strategy that will integrate hundreds of thousands of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles into the superstructures of its electric yachts.

As part of a new initiative to maximize energy efficiency and, above all else, sustainability, Sunreef Yachts Eco’s R&D team will integrate a structural foam composed of up to 100% recycled PET materials into the production of its solar electric yachts and sailing catamarans.

By integrating this recycled material, Sunreef can achieve even more eco-conscious electric yacht construction practices while furthering sustainability in a maritime segment that quickly embraces electrification .

In addition to being 100% recyclable, Sunreef shared that the recycled thermoplastic core offers additional benefits in electric yachts and catamarans, such as high resistance to process temperatures, exceptional chemical resistance, strong adhesion, and other mechanical properties.

For added perspective on the impact the recycled material can have on the industry, Sunreef said one of its 80-foot sailing catamaran requires about 2.4 tons of the structural foam, equating to approximately 600,000 recycled PET bottles finding a second life at sea within the superstructure rather than floating around as pollution.
