• Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually, it is 7% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.

How does the charter agreement work?

Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board. 

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. 

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed. 

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion. 

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.

How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change. 

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.

Do any other taxes apply?

For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.

Boat Description

Gulet Lotus was built in 2006 by Huzur Yaht – one of the finest Turkish shipyards when it comes to luxury yachts building.  This boutique gulet was built for private owner, passionate wealthy sailor who decided to sell it in 2018, as he couldn’t find enough time in his busy schedule to enjoy on his beloved yacht. During 12 years of his ownership, the main engine of the yacht had less than 300 working hours.

In August 2018, yacht was purchased by Croatian owner to be introduced as new entry to luxury yacht charter market in Croatia for the season 2019.

Gulet Lotus comprises stylish interior, two (out of total 4) impressive cabins, sleek exterior lines and serious sailing equipment which ensures proper sailing experience onboard.

Entering from the aft you are stepping in the spacious salon, designed to be perfect relaxation zone – your living room at the sea. On your left is the lounge area with coffee table, opposite to it is TV;  in front of the lounge area  is inside steering place while in the right front corner is inside table. All fabrics are of high quality, interior wood is cherry and large panoramic windows around the salon are ensuring plenty of natural light and airy atmosphere.

The moment you step on board this magnificent yacht, relaxation and chilling seem as inevitable, if not the only possible attitude to the world around you.

Down the stairs from the salon, to the aft – in its separate area Master cabin is placed. Island bed in the middle of the cabin which takes side-to-side width. Sofa on one side, working-or-vanity table on the other side, walk-in closet, TV and mini bar, all dressed in rich cherry wood clearly shows that the interior was inspired with the Ottoman style, providing that special sophisticated atmosphere that radiates with elegant serenity and take-your-time philosophy.

Stepping down the stairs from salon to the front area of the yacht you will visit 3 other cabins: one double bed, one twin bed – one opposite to another, and in the very front: a VIP cabin; also stretching from side to side, with plenty of wardrobe space, TV and minibar.

Lotus offers area for relaxation and al-fresco dining; aft mattresses, spacious dining table with chairs around it, all covered (shaded) by tent construction.

Lotus will provide excellent sailing experience, therefore this area is not covered with tent or awning as sun protection. Still, at the sunset time this is probably the best area to spend this time of the day as Zen moments are assured to everyone comfortably lying on those mattresses.

Upper deck or sun deck or fly bridge; you are invited to join the captain while he is steering from this position – there is a cocktail table and shaded lounge area for you. Or perhaps you want to enjoy it in privacy – so the captain will move to steering place in the salon.

The yacht Lotus was built in one of the finest boatyards in Turkey, primarily focused on building luxury yachts – Huzur yacht. The luxury yacht for rent Lotus was created for the private owner, who was a passionate sailor in the Mediterranean. He made a yacht with excellent sailing performances and best sailing equipment, providing the best sailing experiences. It is designed with the ultimate enjoyment in mind.

On the front deck, you will find the sunbathing area with sun mattresses, and the sofa with sound system embedded. It is an excellent place to have a party with your friends. There is also a Jet Ski and a crane which allows you to drop it easy into the sea. Besides jet ski, gulet Lotus provides other fun amenities. They have a canoe and snorkeling gear. The best things to explore the current bay or Adriatic rich sea bottom. They also have a Donut and Wates skies and just ask the crew to pull you with tender. Adriatic Sea is filled with fish, so maybe grab a fishing gear and fish from the boat side.

The deck area is spacious, so you have plenty of space to enjoy your outdoor time in any way you like. In the back of the ship, you will find a comfortable dining area that comfortably seats 8 people. A dining table is surrounded by cushioned seating and gives you enough space to enjoy your meals with the rest of the group. Next to the dining table is a minibar and TV, so after dinner, you can lie down on the cushioned sofa behind the dining area, drink something cold, and enjoy your time or just lie and relax. One of the most attractive parts is a flybridge where you lie down on two sofas, enjoy cocktails from the minibar and have a stunning view of the surroundings from the highest part of the yacht.

The saloon is one of the most beautiful designed that you will ever see comprising the lounge area with cushioned seats and sofas. It also has a separated special tea & coffee table surrounded by a lovely sofa. It has large panoramic windows, so the saloon looks very airy and spacious. Corridors on the front are leading towards the guest's space.

There is a master cabin with a TV, sound system above the bed and private minibar. On the back is a large VIP cabin with sofa, TV, mini bar and "walk-in" closet. In between them, you will also find two spacious cabins: one with a double bed and a one with two single beds. Every cabin has its own private bathroom and every bathroom is designed differently. All of them are luxuriously designed and furnished, with air conditioning. The subtle red wood color will give you sense of romance.

But let’s not forget the crew. No matter the length or design of the boat, crew is the one that makes your journey whole. Put your trust in them because they are the experts of our country and will give you the most useful tips.

Gulet Lotus has 26 meters. It can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins (Master cabin, VIP cabin, Double cabin, and Twin cabin). She has one of the most beautiful salon and cabins. One of the main features of the gulets is cushioned area on Aft deck and flybridge. On board, you will find a vast choice of watersports.

How are beverages organized?

Before your departure, Your cruise assistant will arrange that all of your favorite drinks are waiting for you in yacht’s bar. If you decide to buy drinks from yacht’s bar, you will give a list of drinks you would like to have on board, the crew will get them and sell according to yacht’s bar price list. All Inclusive drinks package includes local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; you can bring all foreign brands with you free of charge. If you pay a corkage fee, you will give us the list of drinks you wish to have in yacht’s bar and we will supply the drinks – you will only cover the supermarket bill.

Crew Information

Gulet Lotus has a crew of 4:

Captain : will take you around all the beautiful places and make the trip as safe as possible. He will follow the pre-planned route, created for you by your “ concierge assistant ” if only the weather will allow it.

Chef : Lotus is famous for its food and exquisite cuisine. Food is modified according to your taste buds and good planning can make wonders for your cruise.

Deckhand : the right hand of the captain, will make sure the ship is safely moored, your cabins and deck cleaned and everything in order.

Waiter : will always be around to make sure you get the right wine with your meals, that the table is properly set and cleaned and chilled drinks brought to you, as soon as you get thirsty.

In the back of the ship, you will find the comfort  dining area. dining table is surrounded by cushioned seating and gives you enough space to enjoy your meals comfortably. Next to the dining table you can find mini bar and TV so after diner you can lie down on the cushioned sofa located behind dining area, drink something cold, and enjoy  TV or just lie and relax.

One of the most attractive part is a flybridge.  You can lie down on a two sofa’s, enjoy a cocktails from mini bar and have amazing view of the whole environment from the highest part of the yacht.

The salon is one of the most beautiful designed salons you will ever see, and it has lounge area all with cushioned seats and sofas. It also has a separated special tea & coffe table surrounded with nice sofa. It has large panoramic windows so the salon looks very airy and spacious.

The corridors in a front lead towards the guest space. In front you can find a master cabin with TV, sound system  above the bed and private mini bar. On the back you will find a huge Vip cabin with sofa, TV, mini bar and ‘’walk in’’ closet room.  In between them, you will also find two spacious cabins, one cabin with a double bed and one with two single beds.  All of them are luxuriously designed and furnished, with air conditioning and beautiful ensuite bathrooms.

Gulet Yacht Lotus - 2024 Charter Rates / Per Week

Advance Provisioning Allowance (A.P.A) in amount of the charter fee (before discount) is to be paid by the charterer in addition to the charter fee which includes all fuel and relevant costs for the yacht and its tenders, as well as all harbor expenses, customs, gratuity and other additional costs for the yacht, crew, client and guests during the entire charter period.

A.P.A. is obligatory for all luxury yachts and it is usually ranged for 30% of the charter price. The Client will be advised by the captain, at intervals, as to the disbursement of the A.P.A and will, if the balance remaining becomes insufficient, in light of current expenditure, pay to the captain, a sufficient sum to maintain an adequate credit balance. Prior to disembarkation at the end of the charter period, the captain shall present to the Client a detailed account of expenditures with as many supporting receipts as possible, and the Client will pay to the captain the balance of the expenses or the captain will repay to the Client any balance overpaid, as the case may be.

Payment for special requirements or equipment and/or shore transport and/or excursions and/or all other expenses not customarily considered part of the Yacht's costs may be required to be paid to the captain on board in addition to the charter fee and/or A.P.A.

LOTUS luxury gulet has 4 cabins, and many would agree - the interior of the whole yacht together with the staterooms is one of the most elegant. Gulet Lotus was built in 2006 by Huzur Yat - one of the finest Turkish shipyards when it comes to luxury yachts building. This boutique gulet was built for a private owner, a passionate wealthy sailor who decided to sell it in 2018, as he could not find enough time in his busy schedule to enjoy it. During 12 years of his ownership, the main engine of the yacht had less than 300 working hours.

In August 2018, the yacht was purchased by a Croatian owner to be introduced as a new entry to the luxury yacht charter market in Croatia for the season 2019.

Prices are in Eur per week, current Croatian VAT rate for yacht charters: 13%

1. CHARTER FEE   

• Accommodation for a maximum of 8 guests in 4 cabins
• The crew of 4 and their expenses
• Insurance of the yacht
• Use of recreational equipment
• Re-positioning of the yacht to Dubrovnik for embarkation/disembarkation - when possible
• Tourist taxes & Wi-Fi  

EXTRA – APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 30% of the charter fee

To cover the following costs, but not limited to:

• Fuel for the main engines and generators
• Fuel for tender and water sports equipment
• Fuel for Personal Watercraft*
• Food and beverages for the Charter Party
• Port and marina fees, anchorages
• National Parks and Parks of Nature entrances
• Shipping agents’ fees
• Custom fees and charter licenses if cruising in Montenegro or Italy
• Other costs for services requested by the Charter Party during the charter such as but not limited to hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer's request
• Shoreside transport and excursions.

* To drive a Personal Watercraft in Croatia one needs to have a boat driving permit with him/her when on the Personal Watercraft. It is forbidden to allow a person to drive a Personal Watercraft if one does not have a license with him/her. If the person does not have this, it is possible to obtain one while in Croatia. Contact us for more details on the Croatian license for Personal Watercraft, but we strongly suggest obtaining one in your country.

Amazing vacation on Lotus. Lotus is a beautiful boat. Two master staterooms, beautifully decorated. One cabin with full bed one with twin bed all with their own bathroom. Shaded dining on back of boat. Gorgeous salon. Boat has waverunner, kayak, paddle board, ski’s, tube, snorkeling gear. We can not say enough about the Captain, Roko and crew, Josipa, Marin, and Jure. Jure is the chef and we had the most amazing meals, we will probably need to be rolled home. Full breakfast, lunch, and dinner, great wines. We asked Roko to take us to some private coves and also took his suggestions on ports. Every spot seemed better than the next. I also want to say that every person we came into contact with told us what an amazing human Roko is, we definitely concur!!! We have so enjoyed getting to know Roko and his crew. Thanks to them for an amazing vacation with lots of great memories. We cannot recommend highly enough!!!
