Drake has released the video for “ Another Late Night ,” featuring Lil Yachty from his new album For All The Dogs .
The Cole Bennett-directed video premiered through Lyrical Lemonade on Friday (Oct. 6), where Drizzy and Lil Boat rap under an array of lights, surrounded by wolves.
Drake raps, “My bank account is magnolia, Milly rockin’, ayy/ Weirdos in my comments talkin’ ’bout some Millie Bobby, look/ Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin’/ Or send a finger to your mama in some FedEx boxes/ Open up that sh*t, it’s jaw droppin’, really shockin’, ayy/ I ain’t pretty flacko, bi**h, this sh*t get really rocky, ayy, what?”
He also plays on A$AP Rocky’s name .
Yachty then comes in with, “It’s Lil Boat, I’m practically now from the 6ix/ My doggy Luxxy ignorant, he from the bricks/ Thinkin’ ’bout this styro cup, really Wockin’/ Let her f**k on one my opps, let’s see who really poppin’.”
Both rappers sport interesting looks as Yachty wears a mouth full of gold, and Drake dons colorful flower barrettes in his hair. See the video above.
Drake recently showed love to the “Poland” rapper during his Field Trip Tour.
Taking the mic, the “Slime You Out” rapper told Yachty’s fans, “First of all, I just wanna say, y’all make some noise for one of my best friends in the muthaf**kin’ world. You been going crazy tonight. I haven’t been home in four months, so you take yourself a little break. I’ma try some sh*t out.” Drake then proceeded to perform “Meltdown,” a collaborative song from Travis Scott‘s UTOPIA .
“Me and him are kind of different when it comes to lifestyle,” Yachty recently told Complex . “We’re really similar as people, but as far as life, we’re very different. I don’t go out, he loves to go out, he loves to host people, he loves to party and I don’t like people that much.”
“I record every day all day, where he kind of is very selective on his recording days as he has more of a life than I do,” he added. “And, he is much more into actually living life as to where I am literally trying to record music every day.”

Drake goes on a trippy late night ghostride in the new video for his For All the Dogs song “Another Late Night.” The Cole Bennett-directed clip that dropped to coincide with the rapper’s latest studio album features Lil Yachty living it up in a forest illuminated by Christmas lights and, for some reason, frequented by a pack of wolves and a luminous owl.
Here’s Why Fans Think Drake Dissed Rihanna & A$AP Rocky on ‘For All the Dogs…

Drake, 36, also appears to hit back at “weirdo” haters who criticized his close friendship with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, who he said in 2018 that he texted with frequently when the British actress was just 14 years old; at the time Brown said Drake was a “great role model.”
On “Another Late Night,” Drizzy raps, “My bank account is magnolia, Milly rockin’, ay/ Weirdos in my comments talkin’ about some Millie Bobby, look/ Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin’,” in what then appears to be another set of shots at Rocky.

Watch Drake’s New Music Video for “Another Late Night” Featuring Lil Yachty
by Matt Friedlander October 9, 2023, 1:34 pm
Coinciding with this past Friday’s release of his latest studio album, For All the Dogs , Drake has premiered a new music video for one of the record’s 23 tracks, “Another Late Night,” a collaboration with Lil Yachty.
Videos by American Songwriter
The clip, which was directed by award-winning video director Cole Bennett, features scenes of Drake on a surreal late-night ride in a sports car bedazzled with Christmas lights driven by social media personality Pisceus.
[RELATED: Drake’s Son Adonis Makes Rap Debut on For All the Dogs]
Also in the video, Drake and Yachty are seen rapping in a dirt-covered parking lot illuminated by stars that look like Christmas lights and sometimes accompanied by snarling wolves. In another scene, Lil Yachty is getting a new neck tattoo. The video ends with Pisceus driving Drake in their lit-up car over a bridge that’s also covered in Christmas lights.
“Another Late Night” has been getting some online attention for one of its verses in which Drake appears to address criticism of his friendship with teenage Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown , who commented during a 2018 red-carpet interview — when she was 14 — that Drake was “a great friend and a great role model” and revealed that they frequently texted each other.
Drake raps in the track: My bank account is magnolia, Milly rockin’ / Weirdos in my comments talkin’ ‘bout some Millie Bobby / Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin’.
For All the Dogs also featured the chart-topping hit “Slime You Out,” featuring SZA, and new single “8AM in Charlotte.” A video for the latter track premiered just in advance of the album’s release, and featured Drake’s five-year-old son, Adonis Graham, talking to his dad a bout a drawing he did, part of which was used as the cover art for the record.
Adonis, who turns 6 on Wednesday, also is heard rapping at the end of the For All the Dogs track “Daylight.” The album also features guest appearances by 21 Savage, J. Cole, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Chief Keef, Bad Bunny, and more.

Drake Drops Video For Lil Yachty Collab 'Another Late Night'
Drake has released a new visual from his recent For All The Dogs album — this time, for his single “Another Late Night” featuring his rap BFF Lil Yachty .
On Friday (October 6), the Cole Bennett-directed video dropped. It shows Drizzy and Lil Boat having a trippy time while surrounded by wolves and colorful lights. You can see the clip below. The video was shot in just two hours, according to Bennett’s Lyrical Lemonade YouTube page.
Lyrically, Drizzy doesn’t hold back. The song addresses haters commenting on his friendship with British actress Millie Bobby Brown, and puns on the name of A$AP Rocky . Drake received some criticism for his friendship with Brown back in 2018, when the then 14-year-old actress told the media that they communicate via text . The ‘Stranger Things’ star said that Drake was a “great role model” who gives her advice “about boys.”
“My bank account is magnolia, Milly rockin’, ayy/ Weirdos in my comments talkin’ ’bout some Millie Bobby, look/Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin’/Or send a finger to your mama in some FedEx boxes/Open up that shit, it’s jaw droppin’, really shockin’, ayy/ I ain’t pretty flacko, bitch, this shit get really rocky, ayy, what?” he raps over the fast-paced production.
Yachty takes a more braggadocious tone.
“It’s Lil Boat, I’m practically now from the 6ix (Pssh, pssh)/ My doggy Luxxy ignorant, he from the bricks/ Thinkin’ ’bout this styro cup, really Wockin’/Let her fuck on one my opps, let’s see who really poppin’,” he spits.
Drake recently surprised Lil Yachty’s audience when the Yachty rolled through Toronto on October 3 for his Field Trip Tour.
The 6 God could be seen lurking in the crowd up in the balcony section. Needless to say, Drake’s presence didn’t go unnoticed and at some point during the show he jumped on the mic himself.
“Aye Boat,” Drake said while rocking colorful hair accessories. “I know you been going crazy tonight. First of all, I just wanna say, y’all make some noise for one of my best friends in the muthafuckin’ world.
“You been going crazy tonight. I haven’t been home in four months, so you take yourself a little break. I’ma try some shit out.”

From the comfort of the VIP section, Drake then proceeded to perform his “Meltdown” collaboration from Travis Scott ‘s UTOPIA , which sent the hometown crowd into a frenzy.
Drake’s appearance at Lil Yachty’s show comes on the heels of the “Poland” rapper explaining how they differ in terms of how they approach life and music.
“Me and him are kind of different when it comes to lifestyle,” Yachty recently told Complex . “We’re really similar as people, but as far as life, we’re very different. I don’t go out, he loves to go out, he loves to host people, he loves to party and I don’t like people that much.”
He continued: “And I record every day all day, where he kind of is very selective on his recording days as he has more of a life than I do. And, he is much more into actually living life as to where I am literally trying to record music every day.”

Soon after the release of the album this week, Drake – real name Aubrey Drake Graham – announced that he’ll be stepping back from music for the time being.

A number of shows have also been postponed on his ‘It’s All A Blur’ tour following his announcement, including dates in Denver, New Orleans, Nashville and Columbus, Ohio.
“I need to focus on my health, first and foremost – and I’ll talk about that soon enough,” he added. “Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach.
“I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit,” he said. “I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or something. Maybe a little longer.”
The rapper’s new album was initially set for release on September 22 , but was pushed back so that he could have more time to finish the record while still on tour .
His most recent solo album before this was last year’s ‘ Honestly, Nevermind’ , which NME said in a three-star review “surprises in many ways, ditching bland trap for house beats and some daring, if somewhat mixed, vocal takes”.

Lil Yachty Tell His Concrete Boys Crew ‘Let’s Get On Dey Ass’ With An Electrifying New Video
Earlier this year, Lil Yachty launched his record label, Concrete Rekordz , and signed his first act: The raucous, Atlanta-based crew Concrete Boys, which includes a collection of proteges Yachty believes can get hip-hop out of the “ terrible state ” he fretted over last year. To that end, he’s been releasing a slew of off-the-wall, free verse-style singles, including “ A Cold Sunday ,” “ Something Ether ,” and now, “Let’s Get On Dey Ass,” an electrifying track in the vein of fellow ATLien Playboi Carti’s amorphous, video gamey sound.
In the colorful video for the song, Yachty and the Boys (and Karrahbooo — I guess it’s like a “Storm from the X-Men” situation) vibe out and parade through a series of sparse tableaux sporting matching gear to show off their team spirit. They also demonstrate an astonishing array of complex high-fives, careen through the Georgia woods in a luxury SUV, and peruse racks of vacuum sealed fashion pieces. The vibe just screams good times and camaraderie, and suggests more boisterous and defiant hits to come.
Yachty isn’t just trying to save hip-hop, though; last month, he also teamed up with UK producer James Blake for an experimental collaborative album called Bad Cameo .

Lil Yachty Goes For The Jugular On "Lets Get On Dey A**"
Lil Yachty aptly named his new single "Lets Get On Dey A**". While the subject matter mostly pertains to the grind to stealing somebody's girl, the hidden meaning behind it why this title is so perfect. The polarizing Georgia rapper and singer has been on an absolute tear over the last year and a half. From Let's Start Here. to songs like "Strike (Holster)" and "A Cold Sunday", to his recent James Blake collab tape, Bad Cameo , he has been on the competition's "A**" for sure. Produced by Cardo and Kyuro, it features a synth, kick drum, and bass heavy intro with Yachty's warbly vocals looming in the background.
Overall, the single sounds like a mixture of Playboi Carti and ian of all artists. The latter is known for being influenced by Yeat. But with Yachty being seen working with him as of late, he might have borrowed some ideas from Valedictorian . Overall, the track is extremely well-produced, however this one of Yachty's more inconsistent tracks as whole, sadly, His rapping performance is sort of all over the place and it feels like he has hard time finding a pocket. However, we still encourage you to check it out for yourself and see what you think. You can do so by watching the "Lets Get On Dey A**" music video, which features his fellow Concrete Boys members.

Lil Yachty Surprises With New Solo Cut "Let's Get On Dey Ass"
Enlisting the concrete boys for the music video..
It’s been a minute since Lil Yachty has dropped off a solo release – aside from last month’s Minions -associated “Lil Mega Minion.” Fresh off his James Blake collab tape Bad Cameo and with the Concrete Boys continuing to cement their spot in the mainstream rap ether, Yachty has unleashed his first studio single since “A Cold Sunday,” a high-octane offering dubbed “Let’s Get On Dey Ass.”
Backed by a Cardo and Kyuro-produced beat, “Let’s Get On Dey Ass” sounds like old Yachty, finding the rapper spitting rapid bars in an uninterrupted flow, infused with many monosyllabic adlibs.
