Since the start of 1990, we have become one of Sweden´s leading yacht brokers, especially when it comes to larger boats. It goes for both for sail- and power boats.

In order to succeed, we often go abroad in our quest. We therefore cooperate with brokers all over Europe, and list our objects on all of the world´s leading portals.

Since  2020, we are agents in Scandinavia for Allures Yachting & Garcia Yachts - probably the most optimal and safest blue water cruisers available.

From 2021, we are also dealers in Sweden for Y Yachts with its unique ”keep it simple”-concept for luxury yachts built in carbon fiber.

And from 2022, we are also, via our subsidiary Fjord Boats, dealers in Sweden for Dufour Yachts with sailboats from 32 to 61 feet.

We have serviced our clients by representing them not only at established shipyards in Europe but also by introducing them to innovative, high quality start up yards on other continents. This global approach has taken us from mainstream shipyards in Germany, Italy and Holland to less established yacht builders in Dubai, Sweden and China, in each case driven by the target of finding the shipyard which best suits the specific client’s criteria.

The vessels which we have built have been equally diverse. On behalf of clients we have built classic sailing yachts in wood and steel, modern sailing yachts in GRP and carbon and motor yachts in steel and aluminium.

We have also been able to assist our clients in setting up the infrastructure needed for yacht ownership, whether for private or commercial operations. As early as 1979, we created Swan partner, one of the first multi-yacht fractional ownership structures. In addition, we have hired and trained crew and implemented yacht management systems mostly for the clients who decided to charter their yacht.

During more than 40 years in the Marine Industry it has been my life’s greatest privilege to share my passion for the sea with my clients and, to the best of my ability, make their yachting experience a positive one.

Finns svensk plan vid angrepp med kärnvapen

Flygbaser, regementen och hamnar kan bli mål om en angripare väljer att sätta in kärnvapen mot Sverige. Då måste bland annat brandmän veta hur de ska agera.

– Kärnvapen är inte sannolikt, men vi måste definitivt planera för det i totalförsvaret, säger Martin Goliath på FOI.

Martin Goliath är forskare på Totalförsvarets forskningsinstitut (FOI), där han studerar atomvapenhot. Genom att titta på vilka vapensystem som antas kunna förses med kärnvapen kan man också se vilka konsekvenser de skulle få. För några år sedan skrev han ett memo om hur en angripare skulle kunna använda kärnvapen mot Sverige, tänkt att användas för totalförsvarsplanering.

Han har tagit fram exempel på potentiella militära mål för det som brukar kallas taktiska, eller substrategiska, atomvapen. I exemplet nämns mål som hamnar, flygbaser, militäranläggningar och mobiliseringsplatser.

DHL utvidgar sitt leveransnätverk i Sverige med cirka 1 000 paketskåp under 2024, via partnerskap med iBoxen och dess öppna infrastruktur och med fokus främst på storstadsregionerna. Utökningen av DHL:s erbjudande ingår i företagets globala strategi att stärka sin förmåga och kapacitet inom e-handelssektorn. Investeringen i Sverige är ett långsiktigt åtagande, med planer på fortsatt elektrifiering av last mile-transporter, tjänstedigitalisering, utökat nätverk av paketskåp, nya tjänster och ökad varumärkeskännedom. Satsningen ska ytterligare förbättra servicekvaliteten för onlineköpare och bättre tillgodose deras preferenser gällande shopping och frakt.

– E-handeln utvecklas hela tiden och på DHL utvecklas vi i takt med den. När vi nu utökar vår närvaro på den svenska marknaden strävar vi efter att göra ett bestående intryck på konsumenterna.
