Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania

Average reviews, description.

Just a five-minute drive from the heart of Hobart, The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania offers Members and visitors alike a fantastic dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere overlooking our stunning marina and the beautiful Derwent River beyond. Our Bistro Menu offers a wide range of delicious meal options catering to a range of tastes with daily specials and a dessert menu that changes daily.

The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania (RYCT) is proud of its achievements over almost 135 years of service to yachting and the community. In that time the RYCT has grown from a club established to support the needs of a group of dedicated sailors running yacht races on the River Derwent through to today, now servicing thousands of sailors and jointly managing, with the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, one of the world’s greatest blue water classics the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. But it’s not all about racing, with regular cruising and social events, junior sailing programs, training and education opportunities, plus excellent function facilities and a delicious Bistro menu.
