We were a gorup of 22 people (10 adulds and 12 children) and we were all fully satisfied. The agency service was really complete e they are always present in case of necessity. I really recomend Tersane 8!! Dislike: A more detailed cleaning service of the cabins could be better but in general it was acceptable. 26.08.2019

A wonderful relaxation with fantastic food, views and experiences. Like: The days on the yacht were a perfect conclusion to a hectic 4 week tour. The food was absolutely amazing, the crew were so friendly, polite and not obtrusive, the rooms were spacious and everything was so clean. The captain was great and gave us some flexibility on places to stay overnight. We could not have had a better experience. Dislike: It was not long enough!!! A.P.A is paid by the Client in addition to the charter fee for all relevant costs for the vessel that are not included in the charter fee. Tersane 8 is one of the largest private gulet charters available for rental in Turkey. This luxury yacht can accommodate up to 28 people in 14 cabins with a mix of triple and double cabins. You have the option to depart out of Fethiye, Bodrum, Gocek, Kas, or Marmaris and can even sail to the Greek islands* on this gulet cruise! Each room has it’s own bathroom with a rainfall showerhead in a separate stall, air conditioning, and two portholes. Every room has a safe box to keep your valuables locked in and closet to hang your clothes in. There is air conditioning in every cabin, and unlike most ships, it can stay on past midnight for up to 8 hours. There is an inverter that can be turned on when the generators are not running, which will allow you to have the power to charge your devices. The deck of this Luxury Yacht Charter is made of teak wood from Turkey, giving the entire ship an elegant look and feel. Dine outside on the shaded back deck and enjoy the fresh Mediterranean breeze while you cruise along. The main dining table on deck can fit up to 28 people at once, but there is also a second table inside in addition to a smaller table on the front deck that seats 12-14 people. Lay on a sunbed atop one of the two sundecks, both of which are elevated for the perfect panoramic views while you soak up the sun; 28 sunbeds can fit on the dual-level sundeck for your   Turkish gulet holidays . 

In terms of water sports, there are plenty of options for fun! Try out water skiing using our 5.3-meter motorboat which has a 70 Horsepower engine (note that fuel for motorboat is an additional surcharge). If you are looking for a thrill, take a ride out on the Ringos. For a calmer activity why not take out one of the two kayaks in one of the sparkling bays or go for a paddle on the SUP board? The inside lounge area of this private gulet has plenty of couch space and plenty of windows that let in sunlight if you want to relax inside a bit. There are two flat-screen TVs and you are welcome to play your own music on the entertainment system using the BlueTooth setup. Gulet Yacht Tersane 8 Description

The Deluxe gulet Tersane 8 with her long 42-meter hull and 14 cabins is one of the larger motorsailers available to offer Deluxe gulet holidays along the Turkish coast for groups and families, or corporate meeting and incentive groups, of up to twenty-eight guests. Within her attractive and classic gulet hull, there are all the modern comforts of comfortable beds, well-appointed bathrooms for each cabin, air conditioning, indoor dining and relaxation areas with entertainment systems, and spacious outdoor deck space for dining, sunbathing and relaxing.

Tersane 8 gullet has eight plus two larger sized double cabins and four twin bed cabins, arranged with a mix of double bed cabins and twin bed cabins both forward and aft. Two of the smaller stern double cabins have a bunk across the foot of the double bed. All cabins have en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning. The decor is simply nautical with a timber finish in mahogany and teak wood throughout the cabins, the corridors, salon, and outside on the deck. The air-conditioned salon is part of the coach house built in the middle of the main deck and has two long dining tables with chairs and seating for communal gatherings or using the TV/DVD/ music and internet systems comfortably indoors. Next to the saloon in the coach house is the large light-filled and well-equipped kitchen, where delicious meals are prepared by the experienced chef and assistant. The kitchen/galley has proved to spacious enough for cooking lessons afloat.

On the main aft deck from the saloon are the deck bar and two more long tables which can seat 30 guests for outdoor dining under the permanent shade awning over the stern deck. Another long dining table for chatting and dining under the stars or shade is on the foredeck in front of the coach house. For relaxing on the main deck there are several choices from lazing in the shade on wide cushioned benches across the aft deck stern or soft bean bags to laze in on the foredeck. On the coach house roof, above the kitchen and saloon, there are two levels of sunbed decks gained by a ladder and above the navigation bridge with access from the side.

The professional and hospitable captain, chef, and crew of five, who have their own separate quarters, attend to all the meals preparation and service, bar service, cleaning, boat care, and use of water toys and equipment by guests, so will do all they can to make sure that the guests enjoy their cruising holiday on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts of Turkey.

As a motorsailer charter, the Tersane 8 not only offers cruising itineraries along the Aegean coast of Turkey but is one of the rare yacht charters which is licensed to carry its full complement of twenty-eight guests.

Gulet Yacht Tersane 8 - 2024 Charter Rates / Per Day

Advance Provisioning Allowance (A.P.A) in amount of the charter fee (before discount) is to be paid by the charterer in addition to the charter fee which includes all fuel and relevant costs for the yacht and its tenders, as well as all harbor expenses, customs, gratuity and other additional costs for the yacht, crew, client and guests during the entire charter period.

A.P.A. is obligatory for all luxury yachts and it is usually ranged for 30% of the charter price. The Client will be advised by the captain, at intervals, as to the disbursement of the A.P.A and will, if the balance remaining becomes insufficient, in light of current expenditure, pay to the captain, a sufficient sum to maintain an adequate credit balance. Prior to disembarkation at the end of the charter period, the captain shall present to the Client a detailed account of expenditures with as many supporting receipts as possible, and the Client will pay to the captain the balance of the expenses or the captain will repay to the Client any balance overpaid, as the case may be.

Payment for special requirements or equipment and/or shore transport and/or excursions and/or all other expenses not customarily considered part of the Yacht's costs may be required to be paid to the captain on board in addition to the charter fee and/or A.P.A.

Payment Options We will require a 50 % deposit of the gulet rental to secure your reservation in Turkey, this is payable by bank transfer. • 30% of the charter price:  To cover the following costs, but not limited to: fuel for tender and water sports equipment; food and beverages for the Charter Party; berthing dues and other harbor charges including pilots ’fees, local taxes, divers’ fees, customs formalities, charges for waste disposal, charges for water and electricity taken from shore; shipping agents’ fees where applicable; Charter Party personal laundry; hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer’s request, shoreside transport and excursions, national park entrances and other costs for services requested by Charter Party during the charter and all other costs not specified as included. A.P.A is paid by the Client in addition to the charter fee for all relevant costs for the vessel that are not included in the charter fee. If A.P.A does not cover complete costs, the Client will pay exceeding the amount on board in cash. If costs made on charter are less than the amount is given as A.P.A, the amount that was not spent will be returned to the Client at the end of the voyage. A.P.A does not include a tip for the crew.

If A.P.A. is to be paid as a wire transfer, commission of 2,5% for the shipping agent will be deducted from the A.P.A.

• Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually, it is 7% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.

How does the charter agreement work?

Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board. 

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. 

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed. 

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion. 

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.

How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change. 

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.

Do any other taxes apply?

For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.

Yacht Description

Gulet Tersane 8  is a 42,0 meters long yacht. The beam is 9,40 meters and the draft is 4,20 meters. The yacht has 2 x 720 HP Daewoo engine. There are tanks for 16 tons of fuel and 20 tons of water.

Tersane 8 yacht has  10 double + 4 twin + 4 triple cabins.  All cabins have air conditioning. All cabins have private home type toilets and showers. There are separate crew quarters for total of 7 crew in the yacht.

Tersane 8 has GPS, VHF, etc. all necessary navigation equipment. All required safety equipment. Fully equipped galley, refrigerator, deep freeze, ice maker, coffee machine, generator, hot water.  TV and DVD player, Music system. Sun matresses and awnings both on the front and aft decks. Sea ladder with platform. Speedboat for Water-ski, Ringo, Banana. Paddleboard, Canoe, Fishing & Snorkeling.

The yacht insurance covers the yacht, her equipment and all crew members and guests against fire, collision and other marine risks or catastrophe. In case of any accident sustained by the crew/guests, the loss of the yacht, her equipment and the crew damages are included.

The guests -by their own Travel Insurance- is responsible for any injuries or loses out of board and any injuries on board that may arise from his/her own fault or mistake.

The guests can use the yacht on the cruise area as per the itinerary agreed before departure. The Captain has the right to change the cruise itinerary due to bad weather conditions, the docking impossibilities in ports or change in local legislation without prior notice.

How can I choose the right Gulet yacht for my Turkey yacht holiday?

You may have a look at the different yacht choices available in our categories within any price range. But before you make a final decision, it is often helpful to discuss the yacht rental and charter plans with us. We inspect all the yachts we offer and know the crew and charter itineraries very well. The more you can tell us about your interests, period, duration of your yacht charter, number of people, budget and even about your expectations, the better we will be able to guide you for the best option of your Blue Cruise. Once you have decided the dates of your yacht cruise, which yacht is the best for you and which ports you wish to embark and disembark, etc, we negotiate the scheduling your Blue Cruise.

How is the life on board a Yacht?

Gulet yachts are built to center life on deck during a yacht charter. Spacious decks and housing a large aft for dining and lounging area are their main features. The number of guests a Gulet yacht carries depends on the yacht's size, though most of them accommodate between eight to sixteen people. These yachts offer their guests separate accommodations with en-suite facilities. Modern Gulet Yachts are comfortably equipped with all of the amenities that you would feel at home and encourage an environment in which you are expected to do nothing but enjoy yourself. On a yacht charter, you have the chance, unlike cruises on large cruise ship, to explore the secluded and often deserted bays and coves of the coastline. The small harbors and settlements offer an intimate view of coastal life which large ships cannot replicate authentically. You could lounge on the deck feeling the sun, sipping your favorite drink; read your favorite novel or explore the turquoise deep with your snorkel. On your Yacht, you may find some snorkels, simple fishing equipment, windsurf or a canoe for free of use. Some of the yachts have also water sport equipment that is mostly available for rent at extra. Land trips to plenty of ancient ruins to visit are available out of many moorings. You can even fish for your supper on the yacht and your cook will gladly prepare for you. Meal times are another form of entertainment with all that exquisite Turkish cuisine and wonderful conversation. Having a meal under the stars on a serene sea, gently touching the sides of your Yacht is an experience not to be missed. For those who prefer a different view each day and are prepared for the changing moods of Mother Nature, a holiday on a yacht is the perfect solution. Your cruise is full-board on yacht cabin charters, excluding all beverages. On private yacht charter, you can spend your yacht holiday without even having to decide what is going to be on the menu, you may let the yacht's Chef prepare you delicious set menus with a small additional charge per person basis. Or you may choose to book half board meals on some days and stop for a lovely dinner at a colorful seaside restaurant.

What should I bring on board?

You need casual wear; non slip foot wear, swimming suit, a sun hat, some t-shirts and shorts, a sweater for cool evenings and for excursions and climbs, blue jeans and strong footwear. Instead of one large suitcase, we recommend that you take small and preferably soft bags as they are more convenient to store in your cabin. Hand, bath and beach towels are supplied. Also bring your personal sanitary, shampoo, bath gel, toothpaste, etc. If you are interested in snorkeling, you may bring your equipment, because the equipment on board may not fit to your size. For charging the electrical devices, the supply on board is 220 V.ac and European type plugs are used. Please bring your converters/adaptors accordingly.

Does the gulets have to return to the same port of departure?

This depends on the boat you will choose, her base and reservation chart. A oneway charter can be scheduled by departing from one port and ending in anther. It's best to book early as soon as possible to have the flexibility of an itinerary and ports you like.

Are the yacht charters weekly? Can we rent a yacht more or less than 7 days?

In Turkey, the yacht cruises are mainly operated on weekly basis and from Sarueday to Saturday. We try to suit to our guests’ preferences during low season; however we may not offer alternative periods in the high season. Therefore, the gulet yacht rental prices are quoted per week.

Alternative yacht rentals periods (shorter or longer) can be available according the yachts availability, ports, season, etc. Please ask.

Advanced Provisioning Allowance Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) is the process for securing the logistics for a charter. Chartering a yacht involves more than just paying the rental fees, it is about creating an entire schedule with provisions for the duration of the charter. As such, when planning a trip, you need to factor in more than the yacht, its crew, and the destinations. You must include fuel, food, drink, entertainment, medical care, berthing fees, customs, comrnunications and more. These extra details are all included in the APA.

How does APA work? APA is usually calculated as a percentage of the charter fee, and you pay this up front as an addition to the fee before your charter starts. The money is then used by the Captain (or broker) to pay for all the extra fees, taxes, and provisions required to maintain a perfect experience. Any monies left over after the trip has ended returned to the client. All receipts for all purchases rnade with the APA funds are available to the client at all times. This way, the client is capable of tracking expenses during the trip. APA is a standard found in every yacht charter company.
