The Grand Theft Auto games are well-known for including cheat codes, and GTA 5 keeps the tradition going with a large variety of GTA V cheat codes available. How To Enter GTA 5 Cheats on PS5, PS4 & PS3

There are two ways to enter GTA 5 cheats for PS4, PS3, and in the Expanded & Enhanced edition for PS5:

• Controller Cheats: similar to classic GTA games, quickly enter the button combinations on the controller for your desired GTA 5 cheats. You can also enter these in the pause menu.

You can enter GTA 5 cheats on PS4 at any time during general gameplay using the method you prefer, either via the controller or as GTA 5 cell phone cheats. A " Cheat Activated " message will appear on the bottom left of the screen to confirm the activation of the effect.

Unlike cheats in GTA IV , the GTA 5 phone cheats are not stored on the cellphone and must be re-entered each time. However, you can press * on the dial pad to quickly re-enter the last cheat you used.

You can de-activate some GTA V cheats by simply re-entering them, although certain cheats require you to restart the game or reload a previous save file in order to remove them. The GTA 5 cheats also get disabled when your character dies.

Note: several cheats only work in Freeroam and cannot be activated during missions or in restricted areas. In those cases, the game will show a " Cheat Denied " message.

Do GTA 5 Cheats Disable Trophies?

Using cheat codes in GTA 5 will temporarily disable Trophies & Achievements , but only for the current play session .

This means that after you restart the game and reload the save file, cheats will be de-activated and you will be able to earn achievements again. While there is a lot of misinformation about this topic, this is the definitive answer. So unlike classic GTA games, the GTA 5 cheats don't permanently block trophies , even if you saved while cheats were active.

Activating GTA V cheat codes on PS5/PS4/PS3 also prevents you from getting a higher rating than Bronze medals in missions, but again, just for the current game session until you restart the game. It's also important to note that using GTA 5 cheat codes doesn't prevent you from obtaining 100% completion of the game , they're safe to use.

In any case, it's always recommended to save the game before using cheats in Grand Theft Auto V, so that you always have a "clean" save slot where you have not used cheats.

Can you use the GTA 5 Phone Cheats on PS3?

The GTA 5 Phone Cheats were introduced with the Enhanced Edition of GTA 5 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

So the phone cheats are not available on the original PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. The only way to enter cheats on the old-generation consoles is via controller button combinations.

GTA 5 Cheats: Play as Any Character & Animals (via Director Mode)

In addition to the main single-player mode and the GTA Online multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto V for PC, PS4, and Xbox One also comes with a special "Director Mode".

The GTA 5 Director Mode gives you the freedom to play as any character model in the game , from Story Mode characters , hundreds of NPC & Pedestrians and even Animals - and free-roam around San Andreas. You can also select your GTA Online character .

This is the biggie. Enter this cheat and you'll spawn all weapons and max out the ammo for each one. That means you'll have pockets crammed with everything from the basic pistols to the grenade launcher and everything in between. It's a box of lethal toys for you to play with - just be careful not to accidentally blow yourself up.

Invincibility

Unleash violent chaos in GTA 5 and you'll soon have the cops, the local gangs, gun nuts and general populace returning fire. Not a lot of people back down in Los Santos. So with this cheat you'll make yourself invincible. You will not die. That doesn't mean the locals won't stop throwing bullets at you, so expect the chaos to continue until you manage to shake them off. Or kill them all.

If you don't want to be completely invincible but do want to keep your ticker pumping, this is the cheat for you. So much quicker and easier than using first aid or eating snacks from a vending machine, this cheat will pump your health back up to maximum and equip you with the highest form of body armour. Now you're feeling tip-top again, you can jump back in to the action.

Recharge special ability

This is another cheat that gives you a boost without making you super-powered. You might want to use this during the main campaign for that little uplift. It basically recharges your characters special ability. For Franklin that means Driving Focus , so he can slow down time when handling any vehicle with wheels, allowing pinpoint accuracy when racing around the streets. Michael's special ability is Bullet Time . He can slow down time to target heads and other hotspots with complete accuracy - although he can only do this on foot. Trevor's special ability is Red Mist . Red Mist allows Trevor to take less damage and inflict more pain when he's in the zone, so he can be a little more wild and less cautious of the damage he might take.

Raise Wanted level

If you really want to taunt the police and you can't be bothered to start the antagonism from scratch, this cheat will max out your wanted level immediately. That means you'll be descended upon by special military police in helicopters and tanks and with van-loads of support. Brace yourself.

Is there a money cheat in GTA 5?

How to enter GTA 5 cheats on Xbox, PS5, PS4, PS3 and PC

GTA 5 added some interesting ways to input cheats on top of the good old controller button-mashing codes. On consoles, you can input those controller codes or, alternatively, whip out the in-game cell phone to dial in a number that activates the cheat instead.

On PC, you can do either of those things and also use console commands - the commands are actually the words spelled out by the phone numbers, which is a nice touch (giving you things like 1-999-LAWYERUP)!

Here's a quick rundown of how to enter cheats on each platform:

• PS5, PS4 and PS3 - Follow the button prompts in the tables below on controller, or press Up to bring up the cell phone and call the respective number.
• Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Xbox 360 - Follow the button prompts in the tables below on controller, or press Up to bring up the cell phone and call the respective number.

There is a decent range of cheats available for GTA 5 players, but it's worth noting that some classics are missing - there's no way to spawn yourself a tank for instance, plus no actual, official money cheat - despite what a lot of people will tell you!

For weapons, there is only one cheat - unlike in earlier games, and there's only a short list of vehicles you can get your hands on.

Otherwise, there are a couple of final things to bear in mind: first, you won't be able to unlock achievements or trophies, or get anything other than a Bronze rating on missions, in a session where cheats have been activated. Second, all of these cheats are purely offline only - cheats are disabled in GTA Online, due to the pretty obvious disrupted effect they'd otherwise have!

Xbox Series X/S, Xbox 360 and Xbox One GTA cheats work in the same way as they do on PlayStation platforms: you can enter them at any point in offline mode by using the controller inputs listed below, or by dialling the cell phone numbers listed next to them.

The only thing to note is that the buttons don't always line up exactly with their counterparts on PlayStation - so just because you have, say, the Invincibility cheat burned into your muscle memory on one platform, that doesn't mean it's the exact same buttons on the other. GTA 5 PS3 Cheat Codes

Back when the whole torrenting bit was the big news and gamers were arguing with each other over the fact that GTA V had leaked and became torrented courtesy of a console, some pirates leaked the cheat codes for the game on the Xbox 360. Following in its sibling's footsteps, the PS3 version of GTA V is now also on the receiving end of some oh-so-lovely cheats.

IGN and GTA 5 Cheats posted up the list of cheats for the PS3 version of the game and just as you would expect, it's basically the same cheat stuff as the Xbox 360 version. They've been tried and tested to ensure that they work so it shouldn't be one of those scenarios where you boot up the game and input the code and find yourself standing there like you mistakenly left your Jimmies at home and forgot to bring a belt to hold your pants up.

Anyway, the codes are below. You don't have to input them through the phone like in GTA IV , but I kind of wish that had been the case... I liked inputting the codes and then quickly accessing them whenever I needed to just by pulling up the cell phone. It was convenient, easy and hassle-free. You'll need to use the D-Pad to input the directional commands and you'll need to do it quickly. Successful code implementation should result in an on-screen confirmation prompt.

Oh yeah, I should also mention that if you decide to input any of these codes into the game you will not be rewarded with any Trophies during your play-session. If you want Trophies, you're going to have to earn them the old-fashioned way.

This seems to be an issue with older game consoles, especially with older XBOX consoles. You should definitely check out official or some other forums for solutions as they have more information about it.

How to enter GTA 5 cheats

GTA 5 cheats and codes let you spawn weapons, guns and cars, get extra health and give you control of things like wanted level and more. You can gain invincibility, superpowers, give yourself useful gear like parachutes and plenty more. To use GTA 5 cheat codes on Xbox and Playstation you just need to input them with the D-pad and face buttons, or use the in-game phone. While on PC you can do that, or use console commands for the same effect. 

One thing to note when using GTA 5 codes is that they disable trophies and achievements while active in GTA 5 . To counter that you can switch off anything you've activated by re-entering the code but it's a good idea to create a separate cheat save just in case they break anything, and restart the game when you're done just to be sure you've cleared everything out.

How to use GTA 5 cheats

On PS5, PS4 and Xbox you can turn cheats on and off by simply entering the correct sequence of buttons quickly. An on-screen notification will tell you if you got it right. 

You can also bring up your phone in-game and dial the cheat - this is the main way to enter codes on PC .  These phone numbers always start 1-999 and then a code which spells out the cheat via the letters on the number pad. Another option on PC is to hit the tilde key (~) to bring up the command console and type in the   codes directly into that. 

Remember: turning on cheats will disable Achievements and Trophies until you turn them all off again by reentering the codes you used.

GTA 5 car cheats

Using GTA 5 cheats to spawn cars on PS4, Xbox One and PC works the same way as any of the other cheat codes. You can summon a vehicle using your phone, or with specific button sequences on console. Let's cover the phone numbers first as they work on everything. There are also three vehicles you can only summon if you've completed specific missions. How to activate GTA 5 PS3 Cheats?

The process of activating cheats is similar to the PS4 method but there are some cheats that are not available on PS3. So follow the process.

PS3 GTA 5 cheats can be activated and used in two different methods. Both methods are given below choose your desired one:

• Use the digital pad (d-pad) or use can use buttons of the PS3 controller to activate the cheat code that you want to use.
• Dial the numbers by using the in-game cell phone.

A combination of all cheat codes are giving below you can just follow and activate. Any GTA 5 cheat, either using the in-game cell phone number method or using the traditional button combination method, both will work during the gameplay to work.

Note:  All cheats will disable your PS3 trophies for the gaming session. You will need to reload your game or reset your console to bring trophies back. In this case, we will recommend saving your game before activating any GTA 5 cheats on PS3.

Combat Effect Cheats:

●  Explosive Ammo Rounds:   RIGHT, SQUARE, X, LEFT, R1, R2, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, L1, L1, L1     Impact: Just begin the bang in Los Santos.

●  Explosive Melee Attacks:   RIGHT, LEFT, X, TRIANGLE, R1, CIRCLE, CIRCLE, CIRCLE, L2     Impact: In fights on the roads, your punches and kicks are literally explosives.

World Effect Cheats

To change your environment in GTA 5 Xbox single-player mode, you can use the following cheats.

●  Change Weather:   R2, X, L1, L1, L2, L2, L2, SQUARE     Impact: Change weather to sunny, clear, cloudy, smoggy, rainy, overcast, thundery, snowing, and clearing.

●  Slipper Cars:  TRIANGLE, R1, R1, LEFT, R1, L1, R2, L1     Impact: This cheat code also is known for drifting cars.

●  Director Mode:   Dial  1-999-57-825368 (JR TALENT)     Impact: To become any character, you can select and play any of them.

Items Cheats

For all items that you want in GTA 5, use the following cheats codes for them.

●  Weapons/Guns Cheats:   TRIANGLE, R2, LEFT, L1, X, RIGHT, TRIANGLE, DOWN, SQUARE, L1, L1, L1     Impact: Variety of GTA 5 weapons along with ammo.

●  Skyfall:   L1, L2, R1, R2, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, L1, L2, R1, R2, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT     Impact: You can spawn in mid-air for free fall skydiving without using a parachute. To survive just press forward on your keyboard and hit a wall or a ground head-on.

●  Bigfoot    Impact: Yes, you can transform into like a hulk foot called “Bigfoot”.

Special Vehicles Cheats (Follow Cell Phone Method)

●  Spawn Kraken Sub :  Dial  1-999-282-2537 (BUBBLES)     Impact: It will be unlocked after completing the “Wildlife Photography Challenge” first. No other boat cheat is available.

'GTA 5': 'Grand Theft Auto 5' For PS3 Cheats, Codes, Tricks, Tips And Hints

"Grand Theft Auto 5" is now out, and you can finally get your hands on a game that you've been waiting years for. However, you may come across parts of the game that outright frustrate you to the point that you're willing to do anything to get past the problem.

Does this describe you? Willing to cheat to win? You're in the right place.

A few notes: you must enter the codes during gameplay in order for them to work. You also won't be able to earn "GTA 5" trophies if you use cheats. Cheats also aren't saved: if you want to use a "GTA 5" for PS3 cheat code, you have to enter it every time you want to use it. Also, each direction control (Right, Left, Forward, Back) must be entered using the D-pad. Finally, there are some use restrictions: you can't use a cheat code to spawn a large vehicle if you're in a cramped space.

Unlimited Weapons and Money Cheat

If you find a chest of money underwater, pick it up and then save your game. Then, reload the same game. If you go back to the same spot then the chest should reappear, free for you to take again. Repeat as needed/desired. The same goes for weapons you find underwater.

Switching between characters should also do the trick. If you grab money underwater and then switch to another character, the money should reappear.

Unlimited Health Cheat

If you want to heal without using any items to do so, switch to a different character. Then, switch back to the original character. Your should now have full health.

Free Car/Vehicle Repairs

Want to get out of fixing your ride? Save the game and then reload it. Your vehicle should be fully fixed.

How to earn the Out of Your Depth Achievement/Trophy : Grab a boat or jet ski and head out to the deep ocean until the water changes to a dark blue hue. GTA cheats and cheat codes have been a staple of Rockstar’s crime game franchise since it started back in 1997. GTA 5 is no different, with cheats that do everything from spawn vehicles to turn your fists into explosive weapons to decrease gravity.

Our GTA 5 cheat codes guide lists all the available cheats in GTA 5 — from gameplay cheats like explosive punches to vehicle cheats like free helicopters — and explains how to enter them.

How to enter GTA 5 cheat codes

Before you enter any GTA 5 cheat codes, understand that turning on any of them disables achievements for the session and means that you’ll not be able to score higher than a bronze on any mission even if you turn it right back off again. There are a couple ways to enter cheats in GTA 5 :

• On consoles , you can enter cheats by hitting the series of D-pad, trigger, and face button inputs listed below.
• On PC , you’ll have to bring up the console by hitting the ~ (tilde) key. With the console up, type in the word from the tables below — all upper case — to activate the cheat.
• On both consoles and PC , you can also just enter the phone numbers. Pull up your phone with up on the D-pad. Select contacts, and then hit the X/▢ button. Dial the number from the table below and then hit X/▢ again. (The phone numbers actually all spell out the PC cheat codes.)

Most cheats can be disabled by entering them again.

There are also cheats that will spawn vehicles in GTA 5 like cars, trucks, planes, helicopters, or even submarines for you to use. Spawning the last three (the Dodo plane, the Duke O’Death car, and the Kraken sub) all require you to complete their associated missions (the random event “Sea Plane,” the random event “Duel,” and the Wildlife Photography Challenge, respectively) before they will become available.

Unlike all of the previous GTA games, GTA 5 does not have a money cheat. There isn’t a way to enter a series of buttons or type in a word for free money. Instead, you’ll have to work for your money and rely on things like robbing armored trucks and various stores, carrying out assassinations, or buying up businesses to earn some cash.

How to use GTA 5 cheats

It's super easy to use GTA 5 cheats, especially on PC: You just need to open the in-game command console and drop in a codeword. To bring up GTA 5's console, hit the tilde key (~), or whatever key is directly to the left of the 1 at the top of your keyboard. Obsidian’s Spy RPG Alpha Protocol Revived 5 Years After Delisting

Obsidian’s secret agent RPG Alpha Protocol is back from the dead courtesy of GOG five years after it was delisted.

Alpha Protocol, first released in 2010, was pulled from Steam in 2019 due to the expiry of music rights. At the time publisher Sega, which still owns the Alpha Protocol IP, failed to go into further detail, but the delisting was said to have to do with scenes such as a boss fight that includes Turn Up The Radio by Autograph.

Now, five years later, GOG has worked to bring Alpha Protocol back with all its original music. It said Alpha Protocol is available DRM-free and includes a number of additional features, such as the freshly licensed soundtrack. Here’s the list:

or Xbox One controller)

Obsidian developed Alpha Protocol at the same time as the much-loved Fallout: New Vegas , and both games ended up coming out within a handful of months of each other. You play Michael Thorton, a covert agent who travels around the globe executing black ops operations to uncover a conspiracy that threatens the world. Alpha Protocol stood out for its dialogue system, advanced quest system, and modern day setting. However, poor sales killed the prospect of a sequel, with Sega admitting it hadn’t met expectations.
