Children Policy

At pools children must always be accompanied by an adult – Pool Hours are dawn to dusk – Children, their safety and actions, are the sole responsibility of parents or legal guardians – No swimming in New River or waterways – Please do not feed birds or wildlife.

Campfires and fireworks are prohibited.

Site Appearance

Please keep your site free of debris and litter . Secure trash and dispose of in property dumpster on Sidney Lane. Do not attach objects to trees or fencing, including clotheslines. No tents allowed on-site.

Motorcoaches

Yacht Haven Park & Marina welcomes all Class A motorcoaches. We also have a large selection of sites suitable for smaller coaches, fifth wheels, airstreams, travel trailers. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance must be provided at check-in – Please do not move from your assigned site without notifying management – No mechanical work or vehicle maintenance is allowed on property – Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, loss or injury.

– Pets are welcome but must be non-aggressive and well-behaved– Pets must be kept on a leash at all times– Please pick up after your pet– If your pet is aggressive, loud, or disturbs other guests, you will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund– Pets are not permitted in pool or activities areas.

Hurricane Ian was a devastating storm and caused major flooding and severe damage along the coastal areas of Ft. Myers Beach, Captive and Sanibel Island and Estero Bay and Bonita Springs. Some RV parks received extensive damage and will be closed for an extended period of time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to these park owners, their staff, and their guests who’s lives and businesses have been temporarily devastated by this storm. We wish them the best as they rebuild.

Fortunately most of the parks in the SW Florida have re-opened and have power. Florida is a very large state with over 800 RV parks, and SW Florida has more RV parks than any other area of the state. Rest assured Florida is open for visitors and welcoming all RVers and campers.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the park! They are making a ton of upgrades and are about halfway done. The upgraded RV sites are all paved with artificial turf and nice landscaping around. We enjoyed the pool and walking our dogs each morning along the dock and admiring all the yachts. The staff was friendly, the park well kept, and the location fantastic. We will return for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay at Yacht Haven. The turf grass is so clean looking and the landscaping plants add to the tropical feel. Our spot on the point allowed us to watch the yachts pass by. It was so relaxing. The location is also perfect. Just a few miles from the beach. We can not wait to go back.

This place is awesome!!! The renovations they are doing are making this place top of line! The office staff was so nice and we were also greeted by the manager Donnie who helped us get situated and then took the time to show us all around! We feel so welcomed here and this place is definitely different then others! I am very happy we found Yacht Haven.

The place is clean, sites are a good size and many overlook the waterways. The staff is very friendly, and it’s close to Las Olas and the beaches. Would love to come back and stay longer.

Spots are quite tight here, but your view is an ever changing scenery of boats and yachts docked in the marina if you get a waterfront site. Staying here offers a true Fort Lauderdale experience with yachts all around, and also it's central location to Las Olas Blvd, the beachfront promenade, and all that For Lauderdale has to offer including it's convenience to major airports, Everglades National Park, Alligator Alley, and the city of Miami (35 minute drive without traffic). Long story short, the tight spots are not a bother when you've got that much around to keep you occupied!

We did not use any amenities such as laundry, pool or otherwise.

There is noise from the airport, but it wasn't a bother and I felt it added to the experience.

When visiting Fort Lauderdale and/or Miami, we would stay here again.

It’s a combination campground and marina. Site was unpacked and very tight with other sites. A lot of snowbirds and full time residents. Laundry facility was terrible. Out of 8 machines ont 2 worked, same with the dryers. You can do a lot better by driving a few miles away. A lot of highway (I95 next to it) and airport (FLL International) noise.

Yacht haven has a few nightly spots, but most people here are extended-stay residents (I was here during a consulting project.), fulltimers, and seasonal residents. From January through April every site is doubled up and may not be your idea of a good time. From April through November, the park is relatively quiet and there’s lots of breathing room. That said, there’s not many trees to accommodate high season.

In general, the place is kept clean if not well maintained. Over the year I was there, the laundry was functional, clean, and social. The staff are congenial and attentive, especially to those folks who stay for longer stays. The location is super convenient to the airport and seaport as well as downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Miami and the beaches are close as well. As such, Yacht Haven is not the place to set up the hammock although the I never noticed the expressway/airplane noise as reported in another review.

Yacht Haven is a clean, albeit a bit run down, conveniently located park from which you can enjoy a big city stay.

This campground works nicely if you are not looking to "camp" rather are using your rv for accommodations after you spend the day at the beach. Hollywood beach was minutes away and easy to get to. The campground is very urban and packed with permanent trailers and giant yachts. We stayed here to get one of our party on a plane at FLL early in the morning which was super easy.

This place has horrible customer service. They flooded due to a freak storm the whole time we would have been staying. We had to make other arrangements. They took $1000 dollars from us and still have yet to give any money back, saying it's "not in their refund policy." THEY COULD NOT HOST US! How is that against your refund policy when it was you who couldn't have us stay? STAY FAR AWAY. We were originally told we could have the money back, but then after several no call backs to management and several email attempts go unanswered, they will never be getting any business of mine again. And I will be telling everyone to AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! What kind of business do you run? If you had insurance, and you probably do, you could recoup any losses due to the storm. But you insist on keeping many rvers money. It's not like you're cheap either. Shame on you. Poor poor management style.

Le camping est tellement beau ! Très propre ! Le personnel est accueillant. Si vous voulez voir de beau vr et des gros bateaux.. c’est juste wow. Il y a un petit restaurant sur place et un autre juste à côté pour manger de bon repas de fruits de mer. Le seul inconvénient, c’est que le camping est entouré de grande route donc difficile de partir en vélo se promener. Le parc gouvernemental situé à côté du camping est fermé. Il paraît qu’il était très beau. Ce n’est pas bruyant et c’est un camping très calme mais il n’y a pas beaucoup de chose à faire pour une famille avec des enfants .. C’est parfait pour se reposer.

The campsite is so beautiful! Very clean ! The staff is welcoming. If you want to see beautiful RVs and big boats... it's just wow. There is a small restaurant on site and another right next door for a good seafood meal. The only drawback is that the campsite is surrounded by a main road so it is difficult to go for a bike ride. The government park located next to the campsite is closed. It seems that he was very handsome. It's not noisy and it's a very quiet campsite but there isn't much to do for a family with children.. It's perfect for relaxing.

Yacht Haven Park and Marina

Located deep up the New River in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this hurricane protected port is the latest addition to the Westrec family of Marinas.  Featuring 55 side tie slips, the Marina can easily accommodate yachts to 130’ and surrounds the tropical uplands of Yacht Haven Resort Park.  One of the rare facilities in south Florida that can accommodate both luxury motorcoach and recreational vehicles to megayachts.  Keep all your toys in one place as in select areas you are able to park your RV next to your slip at the Resort Park, and still have plenty of room for your yacht’s crew support vehicle, motor bikes or other leisure gear.

Under new ownership in 2021, the property is currently in Phase 1 of $26 million in upgrades to the facilities and grounds which will culminate with installation of additional amenities for resort and marina patrons and their guests alike.   Centrally located, Yacht Haven is south Florida’s best kept secret.

Yacht Haven Park & Marina features 255 motorcoach sites, many with spectacular waterfront views, as well as a full-service marina that can accommodate vessels up to 130’.  Family and pet friendly you’ll find something for everyone!

Coordinates:

From the north or south – take I-95 to State Road 84, Marina Mile Blvd (exit 25) head west for approximately ½ mile the Marina entrance is on your right at Sidney Lane.

From the Fort Lauderdale International Airport,  exit the airport to US 1  (Federal Highway) north.  The second light is State Rd 84 (SE 24 th Street).  Make a left and proceed west for approximately 2 miles.  As you pass over I-95, SE 24 th Street becomes Marina Blvd.  The entrance to the marina is on your right at Sydney Lane.

Just north of Port Everglades Inlet, on the IntraCoastal Waterway,  merge onto the New River at Green Marker 21  keep Green Marker to your Port and Red Marker 20 and the seawall to your starboard as you merge onto the New River west bound.  Stay in the channel, proceed inland through downtown Fort Lauderdale.  Monitor outbound traffic.  You will clear 4 bridges.  Shortly after the fourth bridge (7 th Avenue) the New River splits.  To your right is the North Fork and to your left is the South fork.  Continue west on the South Fork, you will pass under the Davie Blvd Bridge, which is the last bridge before I-95 which is a fixed bridge with a 55’ vertical clearance.   Once you pass under this bridge, Yacht Haven is the second marina on your port side.

What a mistake. This place sits right under the flight pattern for ft. lauderdale airport. I timed it. A plane flew over every 2 minutes. If you like the looks and sound of a commercial jet, you may not mind this. To top it off, the spaces are so tight it will test your maneuvering skills to squeeze in between trees, bushes and other rigs. We won't be back.

This is the worst RV park we have ever stayed in, from the staff on site to the facilities to the reservation keeping. We were one of three rigs traveling together, two Class As and one 41' fifth wheel. We made reservations 9 months in advance and asked for the three rigs to be together. When we arrived, they had us spread all over the park because people that we in the sites reserved for us wanted to stay longer, so the staff let them. Then when we arrived in the fifth wheel, the staff sent us to the end of a cul de sac to a site that was meant for Class As as a pull in site. There was no where to turn around so we had to back a fifth wheel all the way out. As far as facilities goes, the only way to access the wifi was at the Rex center, so there was no wifi signal to connect to at your sites. The pool was nasty so there was no place to swim. The staff at check out was slow and unorganized, resulting in a line of rigs trying to get out of the park with only one lane open because they allowed cars to park in the second lane. That left everyone waiting hot-tempered as those in the front were trying to check out with a slow staff. The park sites are tighter that a tick. RVs are so tight in the sites, there is nowhere to park cars, resulting in cars and trucks being parked in the road. This makes it very difficult to tow around. Many of snow birds are rude, rude, rude with none of that patience demonstrated typically with RVers. Given the tight quarters, you have to wait in line to get out on the one lane road. Talking to several of the campers that were staying for only a short time, they shared similar experiences with the impatience demonstrated. Stay away from this place, there is absolutely nothing good to say about it!

We stayed here three months in the summer when it was very empty. The staff was always nice and helpful. There is water access if you have a boat but you will pay extra for that if you want it in the water. The sites are very narrow snd staggered so as to get as many trailers in as possible so I hope you like your neighbors because in the winter you will be rubbing elbows with them. That is not unusual for this area though so expect it if your coming to south Florida. It is conveniently located and the price is average for the area which is high compared to a lot of states. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Quebec must be terrible if people would volunteer to subject themselves to this refugee camp atmosphere, and pay top dollar for the privilege. Only one redeeming factor, you're near a 95 so you can get away from this dump quickly.

Absolutely the worst managed campground I have ever been to! The facilities....entrance and exits have no room for big rigs during check in and check out. The sites are packed on top of each other and have no picnic tables for eating outside. The wifi is only available at the rec room and absolutely no where else. The swimming pool and decking needs lots of work. The decking around the boat docks on the canals need lots of repair. It is evident they do not reinvest any income back into their facility. Their management staff... Where to begin with this.... Made reservations 9 months in advance for the three of us traveling together. I called a week in advance and confirmed all were together. On arrival we were all scattered through out the park. Their excuse was the people that were there wanted to stay longer. In my opinion, they should have been asked to move to an open site if they wanted to stay past their initial reservation. The campground employee assigned my sister to a class a pull in site at the end of the cul de sac when she had a 41 ft fifth wheel which became a nightmare trying to get out of. Nothing hospitable about this place at all. Couldn't wait to leave this place after 2 nights! Nightmare!

This is the worst RV park we have ever stayed in, from the staff on site to the facilities to the reservation keeping. We stay at a lot of places because of my husband traveling with his job. We made reservations in advance since we were bringing the family from Georgia with us and told by the elder lady working there that they had us reserved with a spot with a concrete pad. When we arrived, they no longer had a spot for us because the people that were in the site reserved for us wanted to stay longer, so the staff let them and then they said that the elder lady put us down for the dates of the next week not the dates that we arrived on. Then when we arrived in our travel trailer the staff sent us to the grassy over flow site on the other side of the park and wanted to charge us more for there mistake. There was no where to turn around so we had to back the travel trailer all the way out. As far as facilities goes, the only way to access the wifi was at the Rex center, so there was no wifi signal to connect to at your sites. The pool was nasty so there was no place to swim. The staff at check out was slow and unorganized, resulting in a line of rigs trying to get out of the park with only one lane open because they allowed cars to park in the second lane. That left everyone waiting hot-tempered as those in the front were trying to check out with a slow, rude and disorganized staff. The park sites are tighter that a tick. I agree with the previous review of feeling you are in a concentration camp. I overlooked all of the previous bad reviews and gave this place a shot because we were visiting family very close to the location and they have such a beautiful park. Never again. People living in the park are very anti-tourist.

Good morning. This is a very nice RV park and its getting a NEW face lift to make it even better. One of my family members really LOVE it. Well need i say more I enjoyed it when i visited them there. Very friendly care takers of the property. If you have an RV ✔ check them out. Convenient close to EXPRESSWAYS.😌. BE BACK SOON. Make the best of your day. Blessings⭐⭐⭐⭐

The park was very nice and becoming nicer each day. I'm giving them a poor review for lying to me. I reserved site 244 back in December. When I arrived I was told that street had been remodeled and only offered pull in. The lady told me if I had that site my truck would be in the water. They said they "upgraded" me to a site that had just been renovated. The problem was as we drove around exploring the park there was a 5th wheel parked in 244. I was lied to. Additionally while I know they are upping rates as they renovate I know when I booked, 244 was more expensive than 221. Not a big deal as I know booking mishaps happen. We had a very nice site although it was mostly sun during the day(although we had a shade tree to move to from 11-4). Again very nice place but I don't like being lied to and I believe I was. They should have just been upfront, explained there was a mess up, and given me a refund for the difference as I was not in the "premium" site I had reserved. Friendly staff. Honesty in business will take you far with your clientele.

I’m not sure where to start with this place. We came there three years ago and it was, well…rustic. But the people were kind, and the staff was friendly. Then it sold, and the new management came in. Rates went through the roof, but they began to clean it up and it’s becoming absolutely beautiful…but now there is absolutely ZERO parking for the people that work on yachts, and ZERO way for them to get to their yachts without walking through the camp sites…and most of the time when you do that you get dirty looks and comments from those staying there. I like what they have done with the place, but access for the crews who work on the yachts that pay massive amount to dock there was clearly not taken into consideration. So for your RV I highly recommend it. For your boat, I can’t recommend it. At least not until they fix the parking and dock access issue.

Park is nice , not what their charging nice. Would love to stay year round but is for people to spend extra vacation money this resort. Spots are decent size and park is clean. 24hrs security, location have easy access to main roads and highway. Used to feel very comfortable and charming with the long time residents now is very comercial a stop and go place. can't blame them ,all south fl is looking that way now nothing to see and overcrowded.

I lived in this park for 3 years and moved out recently when they sold. I have a beautiful class A RV so not someone who is a full timer that lives messy. This park is not what they advertise it to be. They have done none of the things they say they are doing on their website. It is years away from being right because they have to raise the land in the entire property. They are falsely advertising the park. It really is a mess. They had no permits to redo pool and so they had to stop any work on it. Give it a few months and maybe it will be done. I am only posting this because I wouldn’t want to show up for a vacation and find the place I thought look one way and it looked nothing like the pictures. Plus the construction that will be going on for quite sometime. For the price they are charging it IS NOT worth staying there. This is why we left. We also had a boat there and the docks are terrible. Another project that needs to be done. All new docks. Walking around the docks is not safe. Again false advertisement. I would say in about 1-2 years they will be what they advertise as long as they don’t run out of money. So would be something to consider down the road. Trust me it’s bad right now

RULES & FRIENDLY TIPS

• Speed Limit – 10 MILES PER HOUR

• Valet Trash – Picked up curbside daily by 8AM 

• Pets – We are a Pet friendly Resort and want all of your precious pets to enjoy their stay! ALL PETS MUST BE ON A LEASH at all times and please pick up after their waste! No aggressive breeds allowed. NO PETS AT POOL OR COMMON AMENITY BUILDINGS (see pet rules enclosed).

• Fitness Center – Open 24HRS (ALL children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)

• VEHICLES - No overnight parking on Street. All vehicles must be registered and display decal pass on Dashboard. No Parking on neighboring lots.

• VISITORS - ALL VISITORS of Guests must be registered. Passes available at Welcome Center. 

• No Swimming - in River or Canal

• Pool – Open Sunrise to Sunset (NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY)

• Laundry & Restroom Facilities - Facilities are open 24 HRS

• Fire Hazards – NO discharging of Fireworks, firearms and wood burning is prohibited. Propane grills and electric are permitted at the sites. 

• Packages/Mail - Any packages delivered to Yacht Haven in your name will be held at the Welcome Center for pick-up. Space is limited, ALL packages must be picked up within (3 business days)

• QUIET HOURS – 11:00PM-7:00AM

2. Pets are not permitted in the pool, pool area or inside any amenity area, except for pet friendly location.

3. There is an off-leash dog park located on the corner of Perry Street and Slocum Street. Northwest of the Amenity Center (opening soon)

4. Pet waste MUST be picked up. Waste bags are available at the Welcome Center. 

5. Any pet creating a disturbance or nuisance may be asked to leave the resort as well as pet owner.

“50 amp parking spot at service center”

Nice to be able stay for an early appt. We camped at HWH Factory in a Motorhome.

9 miles north of HWH is the Tipton Family Restaurant. Had a nice breakfast there.

Pleasantly surprised, service is good so is the food. Great selection of Fusion food, a mixture of Italian, Japanese, European, Asian etc. A pleasantly nice dining experience, highly recommended, a must try!

Best food, best view in Moscow. absolutely faultless from arrival to finish. Best risotto i had for many years absolutely perfectly cooked. The view on Ukrainian hotel and the white house by night is amazing

Had to wait for the food for 1.5 hours and then another 20 minutes for the check. Finally called for the manager and he offered... a 10% discount as a compensation. Simply pathetic! The food is mediocre at best. Not bad per se, but one... would expect something better considering the prices. There are many places to eat in area that are much better. Avoid this one at all costs. Food is very expensive,very pretentious, doesn't worth that money. Portions are very small. We ordered ravioli and there were 4! Four raviolis! For almost 15 euros. Then we asked to bring us dessert menu but nothing, they didn't even bothered, so we payed and left... without dessert. Very poor service for that price. More

This is a very good restaurant. The food is really good, maybe the best in Moscow. The service is also good. The view from the restaurant is great. The prices are very high.

I often visit this restaurant and must say it’s one of the best in Moscow in terms of quality and service. Staff really try hard to make sure that you are happy and satisfied. Customer service is a huge problem in Moscow but Chaika sets... a great example for others in the industry! Food is delicious and the menu has lots of options for everyone! Visited this lovely restaurant with a friend of mine. It was relaxingly warm August evening - so the place on the river seemed like a good idea. We came quite early and the restaurant was not full. The hostesses kindly offered several places to sit... and we chose to sit on the sofas. We had some wine, which was good. We struggled a bit when deciding about the food as few options (scallops) were not available. Fish on ice on display did not look very fresh. To be honest it was an unusually hot August and it is probably understandable that some see food options were not available. However, we did manage to order something and sat waiting and looking onto the river. My long-legged friend struggled sitting at the low sofa and the manager noticed that, offering as a very good, proper table beside the open window. It was nice touch and I was very pleased by their polite observations and immediate reaction to solve the problem. Food was quite good and presentation was perfect. Perhaps I can something about the food, but 1 visit is not enough to criticize or make a definitive opinion. Overall, quality place, which of course, does not come cheap. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. More

The luxurious atmosphere of this place, the view and the location make it quite outstanding. We had dinner here with friends and the dishes were amazing, accompanied by a chilled bottle of Chablis, it really made me feel as if it was a part of... the classic Russian movie. More
