Lila And Gracie From Below Deck Med: Meet Sister Charter Guests

Below Deck Med Season 7 Charter Guests Lila And Gracie With Parents Garold & Katharine In Malta

Below Deck Mediterranean season 7 charter guests haven’t been all that noteworthy. Other than Eric Costen, Jonathan DePaz and the younger models Diana, Hannah, Amanda, and Brett ‘s charter, the drama from crew members has overshadowed getting to know charter guests . The latest group of charter guests, including sisters Lila and Gracie Miller, alongside their dad Garold and mom Katharine also aren’t getting a ton of screen time because of all the crew drama aboard superyacht Home . Although Garold and Katharine’s Instagram accounts are private, their daughters Lila and Gracie. Here’s everything Below Deck Med fans wanting to know more about the latest charter guests need to know.

Below Deck Med Charter Guests Lila & Gracie’s Instagrams, Jobs, Ages & More

Below Deck Med fans with Peacock who’ve already watched Lila and Gracie Miller already found them to be spoiled brats . They also found it hard to believe Lila, who celebrated her 21st birthday while on the show, works as a yacht broker. They suspect you need more experience in the industry before you’re able to sell super expensive boats to uber wealthy clients. For instance, Below Deck season 1 ‘s First Officer Aleks Taldykin became a yacht broker after many years in the industry.

Below Deck Med Charter Guest Lila Miller's Post On Instagram

Lila’s Instagram shows she’s big into traveling and yachting. In the past few years she’s visited Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Saint Barts, Hawaii, Malta and other beach-weather locations. Below Deck Med season 7 was filmed in the summer and fall of 2021, so Lila is now age 22. Despite her young age, she’s already gotten lip fillers . She appears to be dating a professional dirt bike racer . When not sunbathing on luxury yachts, Lila drives a Porsche and enjoys partying with friends.

Lila also has her own YouTube channel where she shares her luxurious lifestyle.

Her older sister Gracie’s Instagram reveals she also likes the finer things in life and living a life of luxury. She’s also quite close with her sister Lila. Although it’s unclear what Grace Miller’s career is, she is selling clothes online . Grace turned age 21 back in the spring of 2020. So that makes her a year-and-a-half older than Lila, making her age 23 now.

Fans dragged sisters Lila and Grace for whining about not getting to leave the dock due to bad weather. However, if fans knew how much charter guests pay for a stay on Below Deck yacht they may understand their disappointment. That said, it doesn’t look like this will be the last luxury yacht vacation these two take.

Their dad, Dr. Garold Miller is a extremely wealthy “visionary serial entrepreneur”, according to his LinkedIn . He’s the CEO of HALO, a mobile accessories and portable charger company that was bought for $41 million ZAGG Inc .

Since 2013, Below Deck has been captivating TV audiences across the globe by offering a voyeuristic peek into life on board multi-million dollar luxury charter yachts . Taking readers behind the scenes, YachtCharterFleet identifies the yachts featured on the show, as well as those which have appeared on the celebrated spin-off series Below Deck: Mediterranean , Below Deck: Sailing , Below Deck: Down Under and the latest iteration, Below Deck: Adventure .

Bravo’s hit reality TV series Below Deck chronicles the lives of crew members who work and reside aboard a luxury yacht during the charter season.

Each season features a different crew configuration, and the episodes show how the crew members interact and deal with personal issues alongside their working lives. The seasons are filmed over six weeks, with every episode featuring a new group of charter guests.

Getting even closer to these Below Deck superstars, we take a look at each of the stand-out features of every yacht that has appeared on the show.

Below Deck (US)

Many crew members are recurring on the show;  the longest-standing is Captain Lee Rosbach, who been on the show since 2013. A fan favourite, he has been at the helm of every yacht on Below Deck and seen a number of different crew formations.

The latest Below Deck season 10 is rumoured to be his final swan song, although his legacy on the show is such that whoever replaces him will have very big shoes to fill.

Among the crew members, Chief Stewardess Kate Chastain was an integral member of the team from season two to season seven. Alongside her, Chef Ben Robinson was a permanent fixture of the crew from season one to season four, before stepping out for season five.

Throughout the course of the show, the yachts have played an important role.

Hiring a Below Deck yacht will cost from €140,000 per week - and that price doesn't include expenses such as fuel. While some of the yachts were given an alias over the course of filming, their real names can now be revealed below; as well as the exact cost to rent them.

The largest yacht in the show's history, the 10th and 11th seasons of Below Deck  are set around the Caribbean islands of St Lucia  and Grenada onboard the luxurious 60m (197ft) superyacht ST DAVID . Delivered in 2008 by Italian shipyard Benetti, the yacht has an impressive sleek, supercar-inspired profile that instantly turns heads.

Onboard highlights include her well-appointed sundeck with sunloungers and sunpads where guests can kick back and relax, a spa pool and her al fresco cinema screen set up for unforgettable movie nights.

One of the yacht's most distinctive features is her sophisticated spiral staircase that leads through all three decks and is lit by a skylight in the spa pool of the sun deck. The yacht is very versatile for a variety of charter party configurations, with room for 12 guests across six elegantly appointed cabins.

STARSHIP (aka MY SEANNA)

Below deck charter yacht MY SEANNA

Making an appearance on seasons 9, 8 and 6 of Below Deck , the majestic motor yacht STARSHIP (known on the show as MY SEANNA) is a yacht charter favorite.

The yacht has traveled far and wide for the show cruising to the jaw-droppingly beautiful St Kitts and Nevis in season 9, the sun-kissed Caribbean in season 8 and the  South Pacific  islands of  Tahiti in season 6.

Known for being among one of the most opulent yachts on the charter market due to her ornate interiors and glossy fittings that have been brushed in 22-carat gold, it is safe to say that this yacht is one of the most opulently styled and extensively equipped yachts on the water. Refitted in 2021, the Delta Marine yacht can accommodate 12 guests across 6 cabins and is extremely versatile for a variety of yacht charter party configurations.

VALOR (aka BG)

Appearing three times on the hit show, the 47m (153ft) charter yacht BG (known on the show as VALOR) featured in seasons 7, 5 and 4 of Below Deck , taking charter guests to a variety of sun-kissed and beautiful locations. The yacht's real name is BG, and she was built in 1990 by the world's most revered shipbuilder Feadship . Since then, she has undergone many interiors refreshes to keep her in tip-top condition.

The yacht traveled around Thailand in Season 7  where the crew and viewers were treated to a truly memorable South East Asian experience. From the iconic Phi Phi Islands to the beautiful beaches of Ko Yao Yai, there were plenty of fascinating landmarks to see on the way. Season 5 took viewers to the tranquil cruising grounds of  Saint Martin whilst season 4 saw M/Y BG in the glistening waters of the  Virgin Islands .

Accomodating 12 guests across 6 cabins, she is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Season 3 of Below Deck was announced after a hugely successful second-season finale, which was the highest-rated episode of the series. The new season saw the crew head to the Bahamas onboard  superyacht STAY SALTY  known on the show as EROS.

She is equipped with an array of luxurious amenities including an eight-person sundeck Jacuzzi, barbecue and yacht-wide sound system. She also boasts timeless interior styling with intricate wood panelling and a neutral colour palette which helps create an inviting atmosphere for those on board.

The yacht was sold in November 2013 - just before filming for season 3 began - for an asking price of $17.9 million.

OHANA (aka STAR DIAMOND)

Premiering in August 2014, season 2 of Below Deck returned with 13 episodes documenting life on board the slightly smaller superyacht STAR DIAMOND in the British Virgin Islands . Among many other features, the yacht is equipped with a large sundeck, outdoor bar and luxury accommodation for 10 guests.

After filming the series, M/Y STAR DIAMOND was sold for an asking price of $10.9 million and is now on the charter market with a charter rate of $160,000/week. Extensively refit in 2022, the work on the superyacht has included a complete interior refresh, the yacht now features light, modern styling - an engine rebuild and a cabin conversion.

HONOR (aka BARENTS )

Superyacht charter yacht BARENTS

The first season of Below Deck premiered on 1 July 2013 after being announced in April 2012. Chartering around the Caribbean , the starring superyacht was named HONOR for the show but chartered under the name CUOR DI LEONE which translates to ‘Lion Heart’ in Italian. She now goes by the name BARENTS .

Built by Italian shipyard Benetti in 1999 and refit in 2021, the famous vessel has undergone a complete makeover, bringing her up to modern standards. She can accommodate up to 12 charter guests and features luxury amenities for guests to enjoy including state-of-the-art TVs and a sundeck Jacuzzi.

Following the show, superyacht BARENTS was sold for around $15 million and her new owner commissioned a major refit. A great deal of money was spent on updating her interior with a classic-modern style of design as well as on brand-new exterior furniture and entertainment systems.

IONIAN PRINCESS

Ionain Princess season 1 Below Deck Mediterranean

Premiering on 3 May 2016, the very first season of Below Deck: Mediterranean , a spin-off of the increasingly popular franchise, took to viewers' screens. This time the ‘yachties’ took care of their guests onboard the motor yacht IONIAN PRINCESS  in the Mediterranean  destination of Greece .

The starring yacht IONIAN PRINCESS was delivered from Christensen in 2005 and was later refit in 2016 and again in 2021. Truly opulent, she bears interiors that are sleekly finished with a range of warmly toned woods and plenty of comfortable furnishings. She also boasts one of the largest sundecks for a yacht of her size.

Below Deck: Mediterranean Season 1 yacht IONIAN PRINCESS is not currently available for private yacht charter vacations.

Below Deck: Sailing Yacht

This is the first time the Below Deck franchise branched away from gleaming motor yachts, with the various weather issues that sailing yachts have to contend with adding even more drama and excitement.

The design of luxury sailing yachts  also creates far more confined crew areas than we are used to seeing on the original Below Deck . In general, sailing yachts tend to feature smaller galleys, compact stew stations and cramped crew quarters which are in closer proximity to the guests’ living areas, putting crew under increased pressure to deliver their signature silver service.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

In addition, deck crew are placed in a far more demanding role, with sailing yachts requiring increased accuracy and precision to safely maneuver and plenty of deck duties taking place in the midst of guest areas.

PARSIFAL III

Sailing yacht on Below Deck

An iconic and suitable yacht for the much-loved series Below Deck: Sailing , the 54m (177ft) sailing yacht PARSIFAL III has blessed our screens for all four series of the hit maritime show.

Season 2 was set around the glistening waters of Croatia and in  Season 3 of Below Deck Sailing , M/Y PARSIFAL III came back to where she traditionally charters in the beautiful Balearic island of Menorca . For the latest Below Deck: Sailing Yacht season she ventured around the glittering coastline of Sardinia .

The yacht can comfortably charter up to 12 guests across 5 luxurious cabins with a layout comprising a master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins.

NORTHERN SUN

Screen Rant

Below deck: rules charter guests must follow on the yacht.

Producers have created a set of rules that Below Deck charter guests need to follow. Some guests decide to break the rules while filming the show.

The   Below Deck  crew members aren't the only ones on board who have a certain set of rules to follow, as the charter guests do too, and we're going to talk about those rules today. On most yachts, the guests are allowed to do whatever they want, within reason. However, when a guest decides to charter a boat while being filmed for Below Deck , they need to follow rules similar to on-set rules for shows filmed on land.

The Bravo series follows the professional and personal lives of people who work in the yachting industry. Throughout the years, viewers have seen the different schedules of yachties. They know where they sleep, how they prepare for guests, and so much more.

Related:  Below Deck Med: Everything To Know About Charter Guest Roy Orbison Jr.

After being on the ship for so many weeks, the crew members will tend to get aggravated with one another, and drama will ensue. Plus, if the guests are so inclined, they will cause some drama on the ship as well.

They Are Not Allowed To Speak To Production

Charter guest Terez Lauren, who appeared in the first few episodes of season 6, did an interview with  Another Below Deck Podcast  on Patreon (via  Showbiz Cheat Sheet ), where she spoke about some of the rules guests have to follow. One of them is that they aren't allowed to interact with production. After the charter guests arrive  at the ship, they are not allowed to speak with the production crew. They want to do their best to not break the fourth wall, and that includes no interaction between production and the guests.

They Can't Play Music

The former guest and her husband Lee Percenti also revealed that playing music wasn't allowed on board. " One of the things was the music. We had dance parties in our room ," Lee revealed. He then added that they even had to pay a licensing fee to use the song they wanted for their wedding. The guest had one song for the wedding that they paid for and had a whole dance party in their room. " I thought they were gonna make us look weird because we’d go in our room and shut the door ," he explained. " We’d open it and be like, ‘Hey, we’d like eight espresso martinis. Thanks.’ Shut the door ." (via Reality Blurb ).

Can's Say "Bravo"

Terez of Below Deck fame  also said that no one on board is allowed to utter the word "Bravo." However, fans of  The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills  have already heard this rumor. During RHOBH season 10, former cast member Denise Richards attempted to use the word often, to get production to cut certain scenes. Her costar Kyle Richards allegedly told her to say it if she ever wanted a scene to be left out of the show.

No Shoes Outside The Cabin

While this may be obvious, the crew and the guest are not allowed to wear their outside shoes on board. Oftentimes viewers will see guests barefoot walking around the teak and the Below Deck yacht's interior rooms. High heels can cause dents on the teak floors, and shoe soles will sometimes leave scuff marks on the deck and the white carpets (via Showbiz Cheat Sheet ). At the start of every charter, the crew will even leave a basket at the entrance of the ship for guests, who are sometimes flirty, to place their shoes before coming on board.

Below Deck  is a show that caters to the guest, but when filming a TV show, even they need to follow a set of rules. Production wants to give the fans the best entertainment they can, even if that means censoring the guests. The crew may think the guests are the most important part of the charter, but in reality, it's the viewers.

Daisy Kelliher has one word to describe her return to  Below Deck Sailing Yacht : "Traumatizing."

"I was traumatized," the returning chief stewardess confesses to ET over Zoom. "I had definitely a few sleepless nights. There were tears -- I don't normally cry -- I think everyone was quite shocked at me crying. So yeah, traumatizing is the way I'm going to describe it."

Season 3 of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  marks Daisy's second ride on the reality TV roller coaster, which while "traumatizing," proved to be easier this time around, partially thanks to her fellow returning co-stars: Captain Glenn Shephard, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King.

"I think I trusted the process more," she muses. "I was more comfortable with the cameras. I knew the boat. There was a lot more last year, the fact that it was a whole new crew, a new boat, for me. This year, I didn't have to worry about Colin, Gary and Glenn, I didn't have to worry about the boat, so already so much pressure was taken off of me. Yeah, also probably I'm getting older, my patience is wearing thin. I think everyone experiences that as they get older. They care less what people think. So yeah, it's inevitable that I just relaxed into my role a bit more."

That relaxed vibe might've contributed to the must-see moment from the season 3 trailer: Daisy and Gary indulging in a hot-tub makeout session! The pair had a contentious relationship in season 2, which apparently combusted into fireworks while filming season 3.

"That kiss got way too much air time, I was not happy about that," Daisy admits, hinting that anything romantic stopped there with that kiss.

"You know what, it's a complicated dynamic," she remarks. "You've experienced something together -- and we're both very stubborn and passionate about what we do -- and we're trying to figure out our friendship and trying to work with each other, and I think it's easy for those lines to get blurred. So I think that's what happened, but I'm not really sure, to be honest."

Daisy clarifies that she and Gary are just friends, despite what many assumed to be a recent couple's getaway together to Los Angeles. "I think it's so funny that you can't hang out with somebody you kissed with, without it being like, 'Oh my god, they're going to get married!'" she says. "No, we're just good friends."

Daisy isn't the only crew member Gary kissed over the course of filming season 3. The trailer shows him sneaking in some smooches with one of Daisy's new stews, Ashley Marti.

"It's just like, really? Again?" Daisy asks, referencing the love triangle Gary found himself locked in last season with stewardess Alli Dore and deckhand Sydney Zaruba.

"It's like, 'I can't handle this,'" she adds. "I actually don't think it was really all Gary's fault, to be honest. I think I got more mad at the girls. Yeah, of course, it's going to cause friction. I think it wasn't as bad as last year, because I think Alli and Gary were almost basically in a relationship by the end. But yes, it causes friction."

It seems there was quite a bit of friction for Daisy when it came to her stews this season. Alongside Ashley is another newcomer, Gabriela Barragan.

"My relationship with my stews was a bit harder, that was more of a challenge for me," Daisy shares. "I loved my stewardesses -- they were amazing -- but it was just something that I hadn't experienced before."

"I'm used to my relationship with Dani [Soares] and Alli," Daisy continues, shouting out her team from season 2. "This was definitely a bit more of a challenge. I don't think the girls were as close with each other as maybe Dani and Alli, so it was me managing that, which was, yeah, a challenge."

Daisy says she found herself playing "mom" quite a bit while filming season 3, between managing her staff and the charter guests.

"It was just 'mom Daisy' walking around being like, 'Don't do that. Put that down. Go to bed,'" she teases. "I did relax a bit more because I was like, 'You know what, if the boys don't want to help me, that's on them this year. I'm not going to stress myself out the way I did last year...' So I was a bit more relaxed in a sense, but yeah, I'm always going to be the mom of the group. That's just my role."

Daisy's former stew, Dani, is playing that role in real life, though. The season 2 star welcomed her daughter , Lily, just as season 2 finished airing amid a tabloid minefield over Lily's paternity. Dani maintained that co-star/deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux was Lily's father, but Jean-Luc (aka J.L.) seemed skeptical of her claim. He skipped out on the cast's virtual reunion , instead doing a smaller one-on-one chat with Andy Cohen , and posted on social media about his desire to take a DNA test. Nearly nine months later, J.L. finally revealed in a lengthy Instagram post that the test was complete and that he was, in fact, Lily's father.

"Honestly, that post was so tacky," Daisy blurts out. "I mean, I can't describe-- I shouldn't comment on it, but I mean, it was nice to see him acknowledge it. It was a little, you know, nine months too late."

"But I never had an issue -- personally, this is only my opinion -- of J.L. wanting the paternity test," she continues. "That's between him and Dani. For me, it was the way it was handled. I think everybody felt the same way. That post was a very 'me' post. I think the whole situation was a very, 'Me, me, me.' But there's different sides to every story, and I'm there for J.L. if he needs me. But Dani is really the one who's doing all the hard work, and that post just made no acknowledgement of what Dani's been through over the last few months, between the pregnancy, the birth, the post. So for me, it was just tacky."

Daisy has maintained a close friendship with Dani and Alli since wrapping production on season 2. The charter guests she met along the way, however, she did not stay in touch with... leading to a "nice surprise" when  Bachelor  alum and season 2 primary Erica Rose returned for another trip.

"I was just so happy," Daisy says, sarcastically.  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  fans will recall Erica's original charter featured a number of fights among the girls she brought on board, as well as a dramatic moment in which Erica confronted the crew for gossiping about her mother when they thought no guests were around.

"This year, it was different on a not... yeah, you'll just have to wait and see," Daisy offers, making a nose-dive motion with her hand. "It was definitely that way. So yeah, that's going to be very interesting to watch."

"I was definitely less patient this year, less polite and overt," Daisy notes of her approach to the guests her second time around. "I was like, 'You're all a**holes." No, not all of them, but some of them."

The production/charter schedule worked a little differently in season 3 than it did in season 2. With COVID restrictions relaxed in some ways, the Parsifal III team took on more trips, which in turn led to more days off with the crew in between... and more drama.

"Every single day. I was like, 'What the hell is happening?' Every single day," she recalls. "You just can't write it, honestly. You just got such intense personalities. ... It's such a surreal situation to be in. I honestly woke up every day being like, 'What's going to happen today?'"

And now, viewers will get to watch it all back on TV!  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, starting Feb. 21.

Below Deck: Behind the scenes of filming the hit superyacht reality show

When it first aired in 2013, Below Deck quickly garnered the attention of a loyal band of die-hard fans. Three years later, the spin-off Below Deck: Mediterranean followed. Amid the chaos of crew love triangles and outrageous guest requests, returning captains Lee Rosbach and Sandy Yawn emerged as respected industry professionals and brand ambassadors for the show.

  • Below Deck secrets: What the hit TV series didn't tell you

In 2020, the brand’s second spin-off, Below Deck: Sailing Yacht , launched, shining a new light on the crews and challenges of sailing yacht charters. Together, the reality show triumvirate propelled Below Deck and the superyacht industry to global audiences, earning the show its own unique place in the hall of reality television fame. But Below Deck’s producers aren’t done yet. Earlier this year, US network Bravo announced the Below Deck empire was set to grow further with two new spin-off seasons, Below Deck Adventure and Below Deck Down Under . As the sixth season of Below Deck: Mediterranean gets underway on June 28, BOAT talks to executive producer Tania Hamidi about Below Deck’s stratospheric rise and the behind-the-scenes reality of filming the show.

  • How Captain Lee became TV’s favourite yacht captain

Hamidi is a seasoned television producer and one of Below Deck’s longest-serving team members. She has been a staple of the Below Deck production team for seven years, joining as the second season of Below Deck got underway. Soon after, she was involved in the launch of Below Deck: Mediterranean fronted by captain Mark Howard, who was promptly replaced by captain Sandy Yawn in the second season. This was a key casting decision, Hamidi says. “We loved Mark, but it was really exciting to have a woman in the wheelhouse. When that opportunity presented itself, it just took over,” she says, adding that Sandy “got herself on that boat”.

  • Captain Sandy Yawn on the reality of filming Below Deck Mediterranean

While captains Lee Rosbach, Sandy Yawn and Glenn Shephard have become familiar fixtures of the show, Hamidi reveals that not even they are safe when it comes to casting the next season. “All the different positions are on the table each season, including the captain,” she says. However, when it comes to changing a captain “there’s got to be a reason”. With crew, familiar faces often return, with notable examples being chief stewardess Kate Chastain and bosun Malia White. This creates a sense of continuity, Hamidi says. “We often have yacht crew come back in higher positions.” Diversity also informs key crew casting decisions to ensure “different types of people feature in different roles.” “It’s fantastic to have a female bosun or a different culture as head of a department that you don’t expect to see,” says Hamidi. “It’s fun to lean into the reality of the industry because it does exist.”

Below Deck: Inside the boats from the hit reality show

A Below Deck charter typically carries a maximum of 12 superyacht crew on board, including up to three resident crew who work on the yacht full time. Often the official captain of the yacht will drop down to first mate to allow for an incoming Below Deck captain. However, generally these crew roles stay off-camera and are not considered “part of the season,” Hamidi says. “They don’t really fit into part of the story, and if you do see them, it’s in an organic way, like an emergency.”

When it comes to casting new crew members, Hamidi reveals that “most” incoming crew already hold their STCW qualification, with some needing a refresher. While the show is totally unscripted, the casting team does look for a specific type of person when choosing the crew. “It’s a TV show so the crew we choose are definitely outgoing and happy to be open,” Hamidi says. “If they are closed off, it’s hard to tell a story and hard for others to come out and tell them their stories.”

  • Parsifal III : Meet the star of Below Deck's sailing spin-off

The same ethos applies when recruiting the season’s charter guests. As an unscripted show, the guests must be outgoing and excited for the charter. “We really don’t try and make them do things they don’t want to do,” says Hamidi. “We say ‘just have fun, it’s your vacation’.” This, Hamidi claims, is why they have so many guests keen to return, with the Below Deck charter guest casting team having to restrict the amount of returning guests to keep things “fresh”. While it’s well known that Below Deck’s guests pay a subsidised charter rate, Hamidi reveals the opportunity is still very much “aimed at the one per cent”, with guests expected to tip to the full price of the charter. “The guests have a slightly discounted rate but it’s still a pretty penny,” she says. “The average person couldn’t afford it.”

The filming schedule of a typical season of Below Deck is hectic. The intense schedule squeezes nine charters into a filming period of eight weeks. A total of 30 people, comprising yacht crew, guests and camera crew, can be on the boat at any one time. Split into pairs, the camera crew consists of a camera operator and a second team member operating the audio rig. Guided by the director, who watches from a cabin transformed into a “control room”, the camera crew “jump around the yacht” trying to capture key moments of the charter, from pulling anchor to meal prep in the galley. They often arrive onto the yacht at 5.30am and get the cameras rolling before the guests are out of bed. Working a 12-hour shift, they need to ensure all the unfolding action on board is caught on camera while avoiding the other camera crews on board. “The camera crew are running around and hiding from each other while getting all the action,” Hamidi says. This is especially difficult on a four-deck motor yacht, she says, but easier on the wider decks of Parsifal III , the star of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht . To support such an operation, the main charter yacht is accompanied by a support vessel and water taxi, which ferries the camera crew to and from the main yacht. The support vessel, which in previous seasons has been a schooner, catamaran and “mini yacht”, is chosen on the capabilities of its galley to ensure the crews are well fed. The support vessel follows around the mothership but is always carefully anchored out of sight to avoid being in the shot.

While Hamidi admits filming the series is “full on”, for her the hard work begins weeks before when preparation for the show begins. This includes everything from casting the show, choosing a charter yacht, selecting brands to appear on the show and sourcing water toys, such as floating golf courses and superyacht slides. Equipment is checked in the galley, visas are approved and valuable objects – such as art – are removed from the charter yacht. Amid all the noise and intensity of preparing and filming the show, it is the morning water taxi rides to the mothership that stay with Hamidi the most. “You’re out on the water, it’s too loud to have a conversation and it’s beautiful – it’s those moments that stay with me,” she says. Despite two more spin-off series being greenlit, Hamidi is adamant the Below Deck franchise is just getting started. “It’s internationally syndicated, more and more people are interested in yachting, and I think it’s just going to grow and grow and grow.”

Below Deck Mediterranean premieres on Monday, June 28 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo. New episodes will be available one week early on Peacock beginning Monday, June 21 .

Below Deck Mediterranean recap: The cat’s out of the bag about Malia canoodling with Wes AND Adam edition

lila yacht broker below deck

This week, Below Deck Mediterranean kicks off with Captain Sandy forcing Wes to choose a lead deckhand.

Wes promotes his paramour Malia. You know, the deckhand with the least experience who he’s been smooching on the bridge during night watch. Nice.

Because that’s going to go over well with deckhands Bobby and Max. Not.

Malia’s concerned they’ll think she “earned it by kissing the boss.” Because she did.

Captain Sandy really chose the wrong week to do this promotion thing. Sigh.

This charter includes a guest who is a yacht broker , and who can make or break anybody’s career if she feels like it. So everybody has upped their game.

lila yacht broker below deck

“Part of being a Chief Stew is that you need to put your personal differences aside,” Hannah says. She’s working with Chef Adam because it’s what required of her.

The weather is rough the first night of the charter, and the yacht is dragging anchor. The deck crew goes into action.

“The anchors are way too small on this boat to hold us in place,” Captain Sandy says they have to roll out and head back to the dock.

She tells Hannah to explain it to the guests, who are already b***hing that they’re about to starve to death.

lila yacht broker below deck

Side Note: One of the charter guests is Bravolebrity Samantha DeBianchi from Million Dollar Listing, and she was a total b***h.

Hannah takes one for the team, and explains the game plan to the guests.

“It’s the safest option in this wind,” Hanna explains.

The yacht broker guest, Shannon, tells her they’ll expect to have it made up to them the next day, but “safety first!”

Chef Adam and the stews team up to distract the guests with food and alcohol.

lila yacht broker below deck

Captain Sandy asks the yacht broker for her opinion after dinner, but that may not have been the best idea in the middle of a charter that was experiencing a hiccup.

All is not well.

The master stateroom had towels from the previous guests. Oops!

“A lot of things that other people might not see,” Shannon says.

lila yacht broker below deck

And with that, Captain Sandy is in the stewardesses’ business for the rest of the trip.

“When Sandy gets stressed, she tends to micromanage,” Hannah says.

True to form, the next morning, the captain is up everybody’s butts.

And the weather is too windy for them to go anywhere, so they’re stuck at the dock with their high maintenance guests.

This time, the captain delivers the bad news to her guests directly.

“Sandy is not driving out there today. Gale force winds,” Sandy explains.

“So are we not able to go to that beach?” Bravolebrity Samantha asks.

Real bright, this one is not.

“Let’s bring out the creativity – pressure’s on!” yacht broker Shannon says as the captain leaves.

The guests are REALLY disappointed.

Bugsy says she’d rather be stuck on land at a hotel than on a boat.

Hannah tells them they’re going on a tour and then having massages.

The guests are gracious, but they do not look excited. They look super bummed out.

“Sam’s flying out tonight. She just booked her flight back to the states,” one guest tells Hannah.

Apparently, being on the already paid for yacht at the dock is not acceptable to THIS Bravolebrity. She makes the Housewives look like nice people.

“Unless I can make a rainbow unicorn appear… this could affect our tip,” Hannah worries, and she runs to tell the captain.

“I have never had a charter guest leave early,” Captain Sandy says, and then boogies down to the deck to talk to the guests.

“I just feel that we were promised something that they didn’t deliver and it’s just very unprofessional,” Samantha complains.

Seriously? SERIOUSLY???

Captain Sandy can’t control the friggin weather.

“It’s not safe. That’s why I’m the captain,” Captain Sandy explains she can’t risk the safety of the passengers or the boat.

Meanwhile, poor Adam is mooning over lost love in the galley. He thinks he still has a chance with Malia. Bahaha!

He’s hoping she’ll be done flirting with Wes. But he doesn’t know that Wes just promoted her.

About this time, Wes tells the deck crew that he’s promoting Malia. It goes over like a lead balloon.

“When I’m not around, she’ll be the one you look to,” We explains.

I was so impressed by the way Bobby handled it. He was so calm and professional.

WTF was Malia thinking seeking Bobby’s opinion immediately following the big announcement? Is she that oblivious, or was she rubbing it in a little bit?

“I’m not here to rain on Malia’s parade. She kicks a** on deck,” Bobby says. But he thought he was already the lead deckhand, so he’s really confused.

Malia tells Bugsy about the promotion, AND about making out with Wes on the bridge.

Lauren overhears the whole conversation while she’s doing laundry.

And Lauren does not approve, so she runs straight to Hannah to open Pandora’s Box.

“They were talking about Malia and Wes making out in the wheelhouse during anchor watch,” Lauren says, breathless with excitement.

“And I’m unprofessional for texting a charter guest?” Hannah laughs.

How long til Hannah tattles to Captain Sandy? In 3, 2, 1… (Actually, she doesn’t – this week – and I’m disappointed).

Lauren runs to Bobby to tattle next.

“Did you know Malia and Wes hook up during her anchor watch? I overheard her telling Bugs… like making out on her anchor watch. I heard it with my own ears!” Lauren practically squeals as she tells him the juicy details.

“Now Max and I gotta work for the boyfriend and girlfriend?” Bobby’s not happy but he’s still handling it a lot better than I would have.

Bobby shares the news with Max when they’re alone in their cabin.

Then Bobby goes and gets Wes and confronts him about what he’s learned.

Wes says it’s all separate.

“That’s so hard to believe,” Bobby says, calmly, and explains why he’s frustrated.

“That is THE most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” Bobby says.

“That’s black and white. Favoritism is being played here, and there’s nothing I can do about it,” Bobby says.

I’m willing to be somebody will tell Captain Sandy if Bobby sits tight.

Nobody’s telling Chef Adam about the Wes/Malia thing because they’re worried he’ll flip in the middle of an important charter, just when he’s finally getting his act together.

lila yacht broker below deck

Adam presents each course, actually wearing a clean chef’s jacket, performing like he should have been all season.

Service is much better when there’s a yacht broker on board, Hannah observes.

By morning, Bobby’s fuming about the whole situation.

Bobby tells Malia that he’s not angry at her, he’s mad at Wes.

“My work ethic was never seen because he’s so far up your ass,” Bobby says.

Malia plays the female card, saying that she’s only being judged because she’s a cute girl.

“This literally has nothing to do with your looks. You’re making out with your boss,” Max says.

“Now you understand why I don’t want to kiss the boss?” Malia asks Wes, as soon as they have a minute alone together.

Notice she didn’t turn down the promotion.

You knew it was going to happen – Lauren tattles to Adam about Wes and Malia over breakfast dishes.

“It’s about what’s been going on for the past couple weeks, apparently,” Lauren says.

“I just don’t want to be making s**t up because I don’t really know,” Lauren says, giving herself an out on the details.

Wow, she sure opened up a can of worms for something she doesn’t know much about.

The crew receives one of the worst tips of the season, but it’s not unexpected.

Then Captain Sandy gives the crew the day off to explore the city after they relocate the boat.

With the drama that’s exploded overnight, I’m not sure free time is a good idea for this group.

As soon as they’re finished, Adam stalks Wes and Malia up to the bridge where Wes is teaching her something.

lila yacht broker below deck

“So what’s the story between you two?” Adam asks.

“Just crewmates,” Wes lies to his roommate’s face.

“I’m just curious cuz you know, we’ve all made out at this point,” Adam says. Oooo snarky!

“So Malia, why would you lead me on?” Adam asks.

“She played me like a f**king flute,” Adam rants in interview.

“How do you sleep at night?” Adam asks. “You make me sick to my stomach.”

Adam says there’s a whole backstory that Wes isn’t going to like when he finds out the details.

So Adam stalks off, and shares the details of his greatest-ever love lost with Bugsy. All about how they met before they came on the boat, and hid it from the rest of the crew.

lila yacht broker below deck

“We tried to keep it hush hush,” Adam says.

Bugsy appears shocked.

This is entirely too much drama for one crew in one day – the yacht is going to explode.

Adam shows texts of Malia making future plans for a romantic interlude with him on the same night she was sucking face with Wes on the bridge. #Classy

Because there’s not enough gossip and drama happening yet, Adam tells Wes about the text messages overlapping with his encounter with Malia.

lila yacht broker below deck

The new lead deckhand is a very busy little tramp!

Adam, Max and Bobby go drinking. Way too much bitter for one table at a bar.

“I just found out. It was pretty hard to swallow,” Adam says.

“The guy sleeps three feet above me,” Adam would like to hit Wes at this point.

Yeah, these three should definitely keep drinking Irish Car Bombs. Not.

lila yacht broker below deck

Wes hooks up with the guys, and is annoyed by how sloppy drunk Adam is.

Next thing you know, Wes is shoving Adam, and they’re about to start fighting in the middle of the plaza.

I think it was about a picture or video that Adam was taking, but we don’t know because they cut it off there, and are making us wait until next week to find out what the hoopla was about. Grrr.

lila yacht broker below deck

Things we’re left wondering

How oblivious is Captain Sandy? And how long til she figures out about Wes’s relationship with Malia?

What was with that horrible Croatian chorale group? They sounded good – for a church service. Nothing available in the whole city that would be entertaining and fun to listen to? Nobody was going to dance to that. And these guests were already bored.

What does it say about Chef Adam that he CAN do amazing things in the kitchen when he absolutely, positively has to? But the rest of the time, he’s a total slacker. Hmmm.

Meet Lily Davison, the New Stew on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 8

Mustique is the biggest boat that Lily has ever worked on before.

lila yacht broker below deck

Though Captain Sandy Yawn told Natalya Scudder that she would "never find anyone who is as excellent as [her]" to fill in as a stew on motor yacht Mustique , the newest Below Deck Mediterranean crew member officially arrived on Season 8, Episode 10 (which aired Nov. 27).

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck Mediterranean  on Peacock  and the Bravo app .

Lily Davison will be joining fellow crew members Sandy Yawn , Tumi Mhlongo , Kyle Viljoen , Jack Luby , Luka Brunton , Haleigh Gorman , Lara Du Preez , and Max Salvador for the duration of Season 8 — and, though she's taking over for Natalya, laundry isn't exactly her strong suit. Find out everything you need to know about the newest yachtie by scrolling below.

Who is Lily Davison, the new stew on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 8?

Lily grew up in Windsor, "like 20 miles from London," she shared on Below Deck Med . "But there's obviously Windsor Castle there, like where Harry and Meghan got married. Throughout university, for like the last four or five years, I was working at key events in England, be it Royal Ascot, [or] Wimbledon."

Fast-forward to when Lily arrived in Genoa, Italy, and she had just a few hours to get ready to welcome the next set of charter guests. "I'm a quick learner, so don't worry," the Englishwoman told her boss, chief stew Tumi. "I've done loads of hospitality, like I was a manager of Wimbledon."

Before she joined the crew, Lily worked on two other boats. "This is my first yacht that I've worked on," she admitted. "My last boat was a catamaran, 45 foot, way smaller. I've never worked on a boat this big; I'm literally sh-tting myself. No, no, wait. Not literally."

Lily smiling in her uniform in front of a stairwell.

What was your first impression of Mustique ?  "It’s so huge. I’ve never worked or been on a yacht that big."

Favorite place you’ve been on charter/place you traveled?  "Exuma, Bahamas. I spent the last year-and-a-half here and it’s my favorite place in the world."

What’s one thing about working and living on a boat that would surprise people?   " You let go of a lot of materialistic items you would have in a normal home. I used to have loads of clothes, but on a boat, you can’t have that much stuff and you realize you don’t even need it."

What Happened To Chef Mila After Leaving Below Deck Med?

Chef Mila from Below Deck Med

Mila Kolomeitseva was one of the most infamous additions to the  Below Deck franchise, thanks to her penchant for licking raw steak and making homophobic comments in spite of working under an openly gay boss on Below Deck Mediterranean .

After being let go by the inimitable Captain Sandy , Kolomeitseva set her sights firmly on the future, admitting to producers, "Of course it makes me feel awful. People like me who have big egos sometimes have to be put down to earth a little bit." But the chef vowed to make her mark, promising her difficult experience aboard motor yacht Sirocco inspired her to work that much harder in future.

Fans wondering what she's been up to can rest easy as she seems to be enjoying herself in Europe. During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen , a fan claimed to have spotted the lady herself in France.

Chef Mila has been spotted in Europe after Below Deck Med

"I saw Mila at a bar in Cannes. It was called New York, New York. She was just chilling there. I asked for a picture, and she got mad. LMAO," Cohen read aloud from the fan's tweet. WWHL guests and fellow  Below Deck Med stars Aesha Scott and Anastasia Surmava were understandably shocked by this revelation. The fan in question later confirmed on Twitter that she did, in fact, get a photo with Kolomeitseva.

Chef Mila was the first female chef on the hit Bravo show, so fans were understandably rooting for her, particularly during a vicious bout of food poisoning. But her questionable decisions — like serving pre-packaged nachos and tacos to guests spending a couple hundred grand on their yacht trip — made Kolomeitseva's approach to service difficult to understand. Captain Sandy even said in an interview with Decider that she knew Mila "lied on her resume" after the tacos and nachos disaster.

Away from reality TV, Chef Mila may be hiding in plain sight

Many fans actually wondered whether Chef Mila was a plant on Below Deck Med , in spite of the senior VP of current production at Bravo insisting to  The Washington Post that his staff were all just as shocked by her behavior as viewers at home. Such rumors were confounded by the discovery of a StarNow profile, which seemed to match Chef Mila aside from a slightly different spelling of her last name (Kolomeytseva). The profile described her as an actor, extra, and model living in Hong Kong. The posting notes she's had previous onscreen speaking roles, though unpaid, and advises she can speak English, German, and Russian.

Chef Mila appears to be nonexistent on social media, with Twitter and Instagram coming up blank. Distractify links to a now-defunct Facebook page that was reportedly scarcely populated, though the site notes that Kolomeitseva was living and working in Monaco last time it was active. Wherever she is, hopefully Chef Mila is serving something worthy of her talents.
