Bullet is designed to have minimal impact on the environment, too. The yacht is equipped with four 2,000 hp electro-diesel generators that produce the lion’s share of the power. She is also fitted with a few solar panels that generate clean, green energy for the hotel load. As far as propulsion is concerned, two azipods with electric motors churn out 1,940 kW to give Bullet an estimated cruising speed of 22 knots and a top speed of 26 knots.
The vessel is also well suited to long crossings with a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 14 knots. In terms of autonomy, Gnessi says Bullet will be able to cruise quietly on pure electricity for about 90 minutes at a speed of eight knots. Right, now it sounds more like Audi’s zero-emissions Q8 E-Tron SUV.
Onboard, meanwhile, Bullet offers a bonkers interior volume of 975 GT. The living quarters are the epitome of “Made in Italy,” with the decor and furnishings showcasing the best of the boot-shaped country. Gnessi says there are plenty of “convivial spaces for parties,” but there is also a strong emphasis on privacy to ensure you can enjoy your downtime.
Whether or not you think Bullet is on target, it really is a matter of perspective.

Bullet 200: 61m concept presented by Franco Gnessi
Franco Gnessi, of Italian design studio Dynaship Yacht Design, has presented the designs for a new 61 metre superyacht called Bullet 200.
With styling cues borrowed from the automotive industry and a zero-emissions cruising at the forefront of the design, the new concept aims to bring something different to this size segment.
The semi-displacement yacht is designed with a gross tonnage of 975, which Gnessi has carefully concealed through the use of clean lines and well-placed curves. "We have worked so that the observer does not perceive the true extent of this yacht," explained Gnessi. "We have used perspectives and lines that blend harmoniously to create a very refined product which surprises in regards to interior spaces."
The Bullet 200 has a balance of private and entertaining areas, which include an aft deck beach club, a sundeck Jacuzzi, a main deck pool and a recessed foredeck lounge.
Onboard batteries would allow the concept to cruise with zero emissions for 90 minutes at a speed of eight knots. Under traditional propulsion, the yacht would be able to reach a cruising speed of 22 knots, topping out at 26 knots, with a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at 14 knots.
Franco Gnessi has released a number of concepts over the years, the most recent one being the Nautilus 680 .

Franco Gnessi of Dynaship Yacht Design is trying to blow you away with his latest concept .
Christened the Bullet, the megayacht is an exercise in perspective in which you discover a decidedly minimalist exterior is cleverly concealing a rather complex interior. Put simply, the true extent of the 200-footer isn’t apparent at first blush.
Inspired by automotive design, Bullet is characterized by a series of sinuous lines that come together to create a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette. It’s kind of like a Ferrari of the high seas and even has the long nose (or foredeck) of a Prancing Horse. The Italian designer also opted for a classic displacement hull to give the vessel plenty of grit and seaworthiness. On second thought, perhaps it’s more akin to a Porsche Cayenne .
Bullet is designed to have minimal impact on the environment, too. The yacht is equipped with four 2,000 hp electro-diesel generators that produce the lion’s share of the power. The Bullet Is A 200-Foot Megyacht Concept That Boasts Remarkable Speed And Range
If you name something “Bullet,” it either implies deadliness or speed. We think Dynaship Yacht Design aims for the latter with a 200-foot vessel it calls such. Ships of its size can typically cruise at a leisurely pace which allows it to optimize range. However, this concept will surprise those who eventually commission it.
The outline design of its sleek exterior affirms what the group has in mind. Penned by Franco Gnessi, this monohull features a body that should effectively minimize air resistance. Couple it with a sharp bow and clean lines which flow seamlessly toward the aft and it’s a recipe for swiftness on the water.
It’s obvious Dynaship Yacht Design is drawing influences from the automotive industry. Think of it as an exotic hypercar that allows you to navigate the seas instead of the streets or tracks. Instead of obstruction-free views from the outside, the Bullet opts for sections that enclose these areas.
Their approach allows the megayacht to cut drag both above and below the water. Gnessi makes up for the obstructions via cutouts with glazing to bask the spaces within with natural lighting. Most of these are tinted to minimize UV exposure and for overall comfort as well.
Shots of the interior are unavailable, but we know the Bullet will showcase elegance and extravagance across its 975 GT volumes. The stern of the vessel shows a swim platform with stairs that lead to a lounge with a jacuzzi. The foredeck likewise boasts amenities for socializing and entertainment.
The Bullet is outfitted with four 2,000 electro-diesel generators and solar panels to handle its hotel load and propulsion. It can hit a top cruising speed of 26 knots and can reach a range of 3,000 nautical miles.

Yachting news from Interparus (22.12.22)
A new superyacht concept, changes in customs duties in Panama and equipment from Italwinch are the main yachting news from Interparus for December 22.
New concept motor superyacht Bullet 200
The new concept was presented by Franco Gnessi, a designer from the Italian studio Dynaship Yacht Design. The concept will be named Bullet 200, and the length of the yacht should be about 61 meters.
Much of the exterior design is inspired by cars. There is something subtly similar to the body of a neoclassical car in its outlines. Beyond looks, the Bullet 200 aims to bring something new to this superyacht size and price range.
In addition to the interesting appearance that makes the yacht related to the automotive industry, Dynaship Yacht Design engineers continue to amaze with the environmental friendliness of the yacht. According to the company, the concept involves the creation of the most environmentally friendly yacht, even taking into account the use of a hybrid installation.
The Bullet 200 has an impressive displacement of 975 tons. At the same time, Franco Gnessi neatly and naturally hid this due to the smooth lines of the hull. Gnessy says: “The team worked to ensure that the observer's eye was not weighed down by the impressive dimensions of the yacht. As planned, externally the yacht should be quite elegant, but impressive. Well, at the concept stage, we managed to keep this idea. This boat is a refined product with impressive interior space.”
Bullet 200 will have a well-balanced balance between private and entertainment areas. On the decks, you will find a beach club aft, a jacuzzi, a pool on the main deck, as well as an impressive lounge area closer to the forecastle.
As mentioned earlier, the yacht should be an environmentally friendly vessel. The clean electricity produced by solar panels will provide more than 90 minutes of cruising at 8 knots. If we translate the hybrid installation into the so-called. “classic mode”, then 22-26 knots can be squeezed out of the yacht.
Customs news from Panama
The passage of yachts through the Panama Canal will now be subject to increased fees. From January 1, 2023, new taxes on crossing the canal are introduced. The new rules will apply for the next five years. The new amounts are relevant for small craft and yachts (sailing and motor). The fee will be calculated taking into account the displacement tonnage and the length of the yacht.
The changes will affect all yachts that are classified as “small boats”. The evaluation criteria are as follows:
- The new rates apply to all small craft with an overall length of up to 38 m (125 ft).
- Vessels over 125 feet in length, in any market segment, up to 999 tonnes PC/UMS, will be subject to Small Vessel Passage Charges over 100 feet (30.45 m) in overall length, in addition to all applicable charges. for other maritime services.
- The proposed changes to small craft duties would adjust the maximum displacement tonnage limits set in duties based on overall length (1,000 tons displacement).
- Vessels over 1,000 tons displacement will be charged based on the proposed displacement charges.
The new charges in US dollars for small boats, depending on the total length, are:
- less than 19.81 m (65 ft) - $1.760 (effective 2023), $1.935 (2024) and $2.130 (2025)
- 19.81 m - less than 24.38 m (65 ft - less than 80 ft) $2 640 (effective 2023), $2 905 (2024) and $3 200 (2025)
- 24.38 m - less than 30.48 m (80 ft - less than 100 ft) $3,850 (effective 2023), $4,235 (2024) and $4,660 (2025)
- Over 100 ft (30.48 m) $5 000 (effective 2023), $5 500 (2024) and $6 000 (2025)
Keep this in mind if you want to cross the Panama Canal!
New equipment from Italwinch after METS2022
The well-known company Italwinch took part in METS2022 again! The company has not missed a single METS for many years, and this year was no exception. Once the brand was created in collaboration with Orvea. Orvea specialized in thrusters and anchor winches. But more than ten years ago, Orvea was taken over by MZ Elettronic, which was engaged in electronic equipment.
Over time, the acquisition benefited both companies. The Italwinch by Orvea range now includes more than 30 families of mechanical mooring products, a full range of electronic accessories and the ability to manufacture custom solutions in both electronic and mechanical areas.
Italwinch, of course, makes most of its profits in Italy. However, at the exhibition this year, many models of equipment were presented that will interest many buyers far beyond Italy.
The most popular products of the company were winches, various control panels, chargers. One of the most popular was WWHC040. This is a device for all occasions - in one case both a thruster on a wireless charger and a radio meter are placed.
In addition, the range of winches has also been updated. Italwinch set to work on the conversion of small winches at a power of 50-1500 watts. Among the winches, Orchid distinguished itself - a winch made of stainless steel. According to the company itself, this model is ideal for boats up to 22 meters long.
The parent company MZ Elettronic also acquired the new firm Progetto Elica. With the help of Italwinch and Progetto Elica, the parent company is going to focus on new thrusters of various types, shafts, rudders. This time the focus will be on the 45m (150ft) boats.

Ukrainian strike damages rare Russian BE-200 in tactical airport hit
O n April 4, 2024, Ukrainians initiated an attack on the Yeysk airport, leading to the rapid emergence of reports about several Russian aircraft being damaged. The most recent satellite imagery has verified that among the affected was the seldom-seen BE-200. Let's delve into the specifics of this unique aircraft.
Analyzing satellite images, war analysts assert that the BE-200 suffered damage near its left wing, which might indicate significant harm. Visible parts seem missing, and fuel traces are noticeable on the ground.
Ukrainians damaged the Russian BE-200
The BE-200, a unique addition to Russian aviation, stands out as a flying boat owing to its distinctive design. It serves multiple roles, from transport to combating fires over expansive areas, by hauling up to approximately 13.2 tons of water or other firefighting substances in a single trip. Thanks to the pilot's manoeuvres, it can rapidly refill its tanks using a large body of water, which takes seconds.
Dimensionally, the BE-200 measures 105 feet long and has a wingspan of 107.5 feet. It's equipped with two D-436TP turbofan engines, which propel it to a top speed of 466 mph, and it operates at altitudes up to roughly 36,089 feet.
Remarkably, in the aftermath of the Yeysk airport assault, it was identified that the Su-30s were among the other aircraft compromised. These two-seater, multipurpose fighters, stemming from the design expertise of the Sukhoi Design Bureau, represent a modern segment of Russian aviation, having made their maiden voyage in 1989.
The propulsion of the Su-30s is courtesy of two Saturn Lyulka AL-31F engines, with the aircraft boasting a wingspan of 48.2 feet and a length of 71.9 feet. Capable of achieving speeds up to 1320.8 mph, they come standard with a GSz-30-1 30mm cannon and have the capacity for additional, heavier, underwing weaponry.
Recent updates from the Ukrainian military command highlight that the toll on Russian aviation assets throughout the conflict in Ukraine has surmounted to roughly 350 various aircraft types and about 330 helicopters.

If you name something "Bullet," it either implies deadliness or speed. We think Dynaship Yacht Design aims for the latter with a 200-foot vessel it calls such. Ships of its size can typically cruise at a leisurely pace which allows it to optimize range. However, this concept will surprise those who eventually commission it.
The concept will be named Bullet 200, and the length of the yacht should be about 61 meters. Much of the exterior design is inspired by cars. There is something subtly similar to the body of a neoclassical car in its outlines. Beyond looks, the Bullet 200 aims to bring something new to this superyacht size and price range. ...
