OCEAN VICTORY Yacht – Yacht of Dreams $300M Superyacht

OCEAN VICTORY yacht was built in Italy by the Fincantieri shipyard and delivered to her owner in 2014.

She ranks 12th on the list of the world’s largest yachts, with a length of 140 meters (459 ft).

Like many other superyachts in her size category, she currently sails under the Cayman Islands flag.

The OCEAN VICTORY yacht was designed by Alberto Pinto, a well-known photographer and interior designer from Paris, France. Onboard there is room for 26 guests in 13 generously designed suites.

A crew of 56 is responsible for the service, maintenance, and maneuvering of OCEAN VICTORY.

In addition to a spa, there is also a beauty salon, a fitness room, and an onboard cinema available for the enjoyment of the guests.

The elevator system allows guests and crew to move quickly and comfortably between the seven decks.

Specifications

The OCEAN VICTORY yacht is powered by two MTU marine engines with nearly 7,000 hp, enabling the yacht to reach top speeds of up to 25 knots. At a cruising speed of 18 knots, her range is 5,000 nautical miles.

Thanks to her state-of-the-art at-anchor stabilizers, OCEAN VICTORY offers comfortable cruising even during rough seas.

Her hull is made of steel, her superstructure of aluminum, and her many decks were constructed from more than 2,000 square meters of high-end teak.

The exterior of the superyacht was created by the world-renowned designer and architect Espen Øino, who is based in Monaco.

OCEAN VICTORY has a helipad with a lift that allows aircraft to be transported to an internal helicopter hangar.

There is also a floodable dock on board that can hold vessels up to 14 meters long.

The yacht has a spacious beach club, an underwater observation room, and six swimming pools distributed across the different decks.

Guest entertainment onboard the OCEAN VICTORY is ensured in the form of jet skis, water skis, sea bobs, and snorkeling equipment which are available for the guests at any time. 

The owner of the OCEAN VICTORY paid an estimated price of US $300 million for this luxury yacht. The annual running costs amount to US $25 – 30 million, depending on use.

Ocean Victory: First details released

The cayman islands has released a shipping notice outlining the facets of the investigation thus far into what happened on board superyacht 'ocean victory' that led to the death of its third officer in march 2016.….

The Cayman Islands has released a shipping notice outlining the investigation thus far into exactly what happened on board Fincantieri’s 140m Ocean Victory (though the flag’s notice describes the yacht as 124m) that led to the death of the superyacht’s third officer in March 2016.

The notice, which can be downloaded here , begins by explaining that the third officer and a deckhand were assigned to the superyacht’s forward mooring station to anchor the vessel, on command of the captain, and that communication was established between the mooring station and bridge by radio, and the captain was able to observe activity in the mooring station via the vessel’s CCTV system.

The third officer was in control of the paying out of the anchor chain with the windlass brake, while the deckhand monitored the orientation of the chain in the water. With four shackles in the water, the chain was stopped, following which the captain requested a total of five shackles in the water, at which point the third officer continued paying out the anchor chain.

It was then that the windlass brake failed “catastrophically” (a word chosen by flag). “The chain started to run out in an uncontrolled manner,” the notice explains. It then goes on to explain that when all nine shackles had run out, the bitter end failed and the loose end of the chain left the chain locker and struck the third officer, who suffered “extremely severe injuries from the force of being struck by the loose anchor chain”.

Unfortunately, as the industry well knows, the third officer died of his injuries, despite, as the notice states, “prompt and comprehensive medical treatment being administered by the on-board emergency response team”.

The cause, or causes, of the failure of the windlass brake is still under investigation, but the Cayman Islands adds some safety advisories at the end of its notice.

Captain Malcolm Jacotine, however, contacted The Crew Report voicing a few concerns relating to elements of the incident.

“The aspect of the mooring deck is very interesting, as this arrangement, whereby the mooring party/operator is in front of the windlass with no open escape route, is not uncommon with the current trend of enclosed foredecks,” explains Captain Jacotine. “Are these arrangements inherently unsafe? And whose responsibility is it for approval, as there are many parties involved: designer, shipyard, class, flag and owner’s representative. I guess, ultimately, those involved can wash their hands of responsibility if something goes wrong, as they can blame it on the operational procedures being at fault. But if it is impossible to operate without standing in snap-back zones or having a suitable escape route, then who really bares legal responsibility?” (Jacotine does stress that his comments are meant as a general observation in regard to this type of foredeck design, and is not suggesting that it was a contributory factor in the Ocean Victory incident, and that we must wait for the final report from the flag to fully understand what happened and the lessons to be learnt.)

MS Ocean Victory cruise ship is an ice-strengthened (polar class 1A / PC6) expedition vessel delivered in February 2021. The boat is owned by the Danish company SunStone Maritime Group (via its USA-based subsidiary SunStone Ships Inc) and operated under charter by Victory Cruise Line USA (brand owned by AQSC/AQV-American Queen Voyages ) and also by Albatros Expeditions ( Copenhagen Denmark -based company specializing in Arctic and Antarctic cruisetours, subsidiary and brand owned by Albatross Travel Group Ltd).

Albatros Expeditions itineraries are in Arctic Europe ( Svalbard Norway , Faroe Islands, Scotland), Arctic Canada (with Greenland-Iceland), Antarctica (with Patagonia/Chilean Fjords and SGSSI-South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands ).

The vessel (IMO 9868869) is Bahamas- flagged  (MMSI number 311000868) and registered in  Nassau .

Ship technology

Ocean Victory is the second in a series of ten "Ulstein CX103" design (Infinity-Class) expedition vessels, with sisterships Greg Mortimer (2019-Aug), Ocean Explorer (2021-Feb), Sylvia Earle (2022-Oct), Ocean Odyssey (2022-Oct), Ocean Albatros (2022-Oct), Ocean Discoverer (2025-August). Four more units were intended but eventually canceled and replaced by the new BOUNDLESS Class boats.

The patented ULSTEIN X-BOW design is one of the unusual for expedition ships features, The vessel also utilizes the latest technologies in naval engineering. The ship is technically managed by Cruise Management International ( Miami -based passenger vessel/fleet management company). CMI Leisure Miami handles hotel operations.

For the interior designs of this entire series of SunStone-owned ships was contracted the Weston Florida-based company Tomas Tillberg Design.

In November 2018, AQSC signed an agreement for purchasing the brand "Victory Cruise Line", as well as its chartered (from Sunstone Ships) vessels. Victory Cruise Line has a separate fleet and management and operates as a subsidiary company of AQSC. AQSC's Victory Cruise Line cooperated with the US-based shipowner SunStone Ships Inc to construct a custom-designed vessel for expedition-type voyages in polar regions, providing industry's best adventure travel vacation experiences and modern amenities.

With the highest for passenger vessel ice-class 1A (Polar Class 6 / PC6), MS Ocean Victory has icebreaking capacity 1 m (3 ft) and complies with maritime industry's latest polar code requirements and specifications. The boat offers unprecedented levels of safety and environmental protection.

The major advantage of the patented "ULSTEIN X-BOW" design is the ship's ability to navigate with improved stability in comparison to traditional bow-design vessels. X-BOW vessels are less subject to vertical motions (induced by waves), continuing on course smoothly while maintaining high speeds. The ship's engines use less fuel, which results in reduced air emissions and fuel consumption.

The ship is equipped with the latest propulsion and return-to-port systems. It also has top-notch dynamic positioning technology - computer-controlled systems allowing automatic maintenance of the vessel's position through its own propulsion units (thrusters and propellers). This allows stable floating while maintaining the necessary stability for launching watercraft - and without using anchors.

Shipboard facilities

The newbuild expedition vessel features dedicated outdoor observation areas (including fore-located Observation Deck with two Hydraulic Platforms and two Viewing Platforms/Bridge Wings), a stern marina (watersports platform serving the company's sea kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving programs), a fleet of 20x Zodiacs (large-capacity motorized boats used for passenger transportation - tendering and landings). The aft-located Zodiac loading platform is a new design and allows easier and faster boarding. Sun Deck (top-deck forward) is furnished with premium garden furniture (sofas, armchairs, sun loungers) and used for both relaxation and wildlife viewing. On the top-deck bow is the Observation Lounge (served by its own Bar) and midship is the funnel (with four stacks/engine exhaust pipes).

Other facilities include Medical Centre (Infirmary), Change Room (Mudroom), Bar Lounge (lecture theater forward on Deck 5), Dining Room Restaurant, Buffet Restaurant, Ship Shop, Lobby area (Reception Desk), Library, Piano Bar, Art Room, Wellness Centre (Fitness, Spa, Sauna Room, Treatment Rooms for Massages), Lower Sun Deck (Deck 7 aft, with lifeboats and liferafts), Upper Sun Deck (Deck 8 midship, with sunbathing area and swimming pool (infinity), pool bar, two whirlpool hot tubs, alfresco dining area).

Four Zodiac Docks (2 on each side, hull access at sea-level) serve as boat launching platforms.

When chartered by Albatros Expeditions, Ocean Victory provides some exclusive amenities via the company's partnerships with brands like Gerard Bertrand (organic wines from southern France, wine-tasting menus) and Julius Meinl (organic coffees and teas). Albatros also introduces Polar Spa (providing exotic treatments and massages), all-inclusive Suite cabins (with dedicated butler service, complimentary minibar, free laundry and pressing, in-cabin dining / daily served Canapes, Espresso machine / Julius Meinl, unlimited specialty restaurant access).

Decks and Cabins

Ocean Victory staterooms (93 total) allow max capacity 186 passengers. Cabins include 68x Balcony, 9x French Balcony and 16x with Porthole Windows. The vessel is served by 100 crew/staff accommodated in 57 crew cabins. Most cabins (80% of all, excepting only Deck 3's porthole cabins) are with a private, step-out balcony accessible from the living area via sliding, floor-ceiling glass door. Each balcony is furnished with a small table and two deck chairs. 60% of all cabins can be booked with triple occupancy (accommodate a 3rd person on a pull-out couch/sofabed).

• Hotel beds (King-size or two twin, size 200 x 160 cm, ample under-bed storage space for suitcases), sleeping couch (sofabed), bedside cabinets, mirrored vanity (writing desk / dressing table) with chair, built-in dressers with drawers, mini-bar / refrigerator, 42-inch smart HDTV (local and satellite reception), phone (onboard communication only), digital clock / alarm, seating area (small table with 1 or 2 armchairs), spacious wardrobe (closet with hangers, drawers, electronic safe), individual climate control, medical emergency button.
• Each stateroom has a private, full-size bathroom with shower / WC, hairdryer, premium bath amenities.
• Suites are in 3 categories - CS-Captain's, JS-Junior and BS-Balcony. These are the largest staterooms, with double-size balconies and offering extra amenities, such as in-room dining service (continental breakfast served on the balcony).

There are a total of 20 pairs of connecting rooms (balconied cabins) that can be booked as one "family stateroom" for up to 6 persons. There are no wheelchair-accessible cabins (suitable for passengers with disabilities).

The boat has 8 decks , of which 6 are passenger-accessible and 4 with cabins.

Itineraries

Starting operations for Victory Cruise Lines, Ocean Victory's itinerary program 2021 (May through September) includes a total of 20 cruises in Alaska (USA) and British Columbia (Canada). Itineraries lengths range between 7-day to 10-day. Unique travel experiences on all these voyages are the Zodiac boat landings and shoreside cruising and kayaking for up-close scenery and wildlife viewing (bears, whales, seabirds). Ship's resident scientific staff (including marine biologists and naturalists) lead all expeditions and also provide educational onboard lectures.

Ocean Victory's cruises to Alaska and BC Canada were open for booking in July 2019.

With this boat, the company introduced two new itineraries (themed as "Discover Beyond Alaska Expedition Adventure Cruise" - 10-night Vancouver BC to Sitka AK , and the reverse 11-night Sitka to Vancouver. Their bookings were opened in October 2019.

Both voyages feature cruising the Inside Passage , Misty Fjords (Tongass Forest), Ketchikan AK (Revillagigedo Island) , Metlakatla Annette Island (Long House visit, group dancing performance), Petersburg AK (Mitkof Island) , Kupreanof Island (hiking), Tracy Arm Fjord , Endicott Arm Fjord , Sawyer Glacier (or Dawes Glacier, both with Zodiac boating), Wrangell AK (Anan Creek bear watching, Stikine River jet boating, charter fishing), Sitka AK (hiking, seakayaking, fishing).

Alaska itineraries

Victory Cruise Line's/American Queen Voyages' Ocean Victory Alaskan program for 2021 included the following voyages:

• 12-day from Vancouver BC to Sitka AK, departure dates (2021) May 21, June 11, July 2, July 23, August 13, September 3. The itinerary visits Inside Passage Alaska, Fiordland BC (Kynoch Inlet), Ketchikan AK, Misty Fjords NP, Wrangell AK, Baranof Island (Baranof Wilderness Lodge), Petersburg AK (/LeConte Glacier), Tracey Arm Fjord (Sawyer Glacier), Kake AK. Fares started from ~USD 4200 pp.
• 13-day from Sitka to Vancouver, departure dates (2021) May 31, June 21, July 12, August 2, August 23, September 13. The itinerary visits Kake AK, Endicott Arm Fjord (Dawes Glacier) Tracey Arm Fjord (Sawyer Glacier), Petersburg AK (/LeConte Glacier), Baranof Island, Misty Fjords NP, Ketchikan, Fiordland BC (Kynoch Inlet), Inside Passage BC. Fares started from USD5000 pp.
• 12-day from Vancouver to Seattle WA, departure September 24 (2021). The special itinerary visits mainland British Colombia (Princess Louisa Inlet), Vancouver Island (BC Canada), Copeland Island, Cormorant Island (Alert Bay BC, U’Mista Cultural Center), Cortes Island, Von Donop Inlet (Háthayim Marine Provincial Park), Redonda Islands, Pender Harbour, Nanaimo BC, Salt Spring Island (Ganges BC), Victoria BC. Fares started from USD 4200 pp, inclusive of pre-cruise Vancouver hotel overnight.
• However, this program was canceled and rescheduled for 2022.

On each Alaskan voyage, Ocean Victory provides a team of 19 tour guides for the shore excursions and also to conduct onboard lectures for the passengers.

When chartered by Albatros Expeditions, Ocean Victory operates on Antarctic voyages with homeporting in Ushuaia Argentina . The Danish company's inaugural Antarctic season started in November 2021 (Maiden Voyage Nov 26th). Signature destinations include the Antarctic Peninsula , Drake Passage , South Georgia Island (UK) .

In summer 2025 (April-October) the ship will be chartered to Alma Cruceros (2024-founded/new travel brand and Spanish cruise company). The itineraries visit destinations in the Mediterranean (including Western and Northern Africa) and Spain's Canary Islands.

Ocean Victory is the first Infinity-Class (ULSTEIN-designed) vessel chartered by Albatros Expeditions - followed by Ocean Albatros (chartered for Antarctic season 2022-2023). The ship-chartering agreement includes a deal with the Miami -based CMI Leisure Management. The company's ship management services include staffing, hotel services, housekeeping, onboard food and beverages, purchasing supplies, logistics. CMI Leisure is among the world's leading companies providing small-ship management services.

On March 16, 2017, SunStone Ships Inc signed the shipbuilding agreement with the Hong Kong -based company "China Merchants Industry Holdings" (abbrev CMIH) for the construction of 4 units. SunStone is the world's largest (by tonnage) shipowner chartering exclusively expedition vessels to cruise travel companies. Since there is an option for an additional 6 sisterships, by this "ULSTEIN CX103" project could be built up to 10 units. The USD 260 million shipbuilding order for the 4 boats was signed in June 2017.

The vessel's keel-laying ceremony (hull/yard number CMIH 196-3) was held on September 19, 2019, at CMHI's Haimen Shipyard. The launch (float out from drydock) was on March 16, 2020. On the same day started the construction of the sistership Sylvia Earle .

Yellow Sea trials (in East China Sea) started on January 22, 2021, and were successfully completed on January 27. During the 5-day sea trials, the boat's machinery was tested by 150+ personnel, including crew, shipyard technicians, CMIH managers, Bureau Veritas representatives, SunStone Ships marine advisors.

The boat was officially delivered to SunStone Ships on October 12, 2021. The signing ceremony was attended by Niels-Erik Lund (SunStone's CEO). Following the boat left CMHI Haimen and via Xiamen sailed to Manila Philippines for crewing. Then it made a technical stop in Papeete (Tahiti Island, French Polynesia) for bunkering and arrived in homeport Ushuaia Argentina to start the inaugural Antarctic season for Albatros Expeditions on Nov 26th (2021).

Albatros Expeditions christened Ocean Victory on December 3, 2021, off the South Georgia Island . The godmother Elise Grondahl (company’s Head of Operations and Product) used a block of ice (crashed into the hull) instead of the traditional champagne bottle. The special event was also participated by Soren Rasmussen (company's owner and Chairman), Hans Lagerweij (company's President) and Laura Sinclair Willis (CEO of the Government of the British dependency "South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands").

The company CMIH is a subsidiary of China Merchants Group (among the country's largest groups of companies). Following the contract with SunStone Ships, CMIH signed an agreement with the Norwegian company Ulstein Design (part of Ulstein Group, headquartered in Ulsteinvik Norway ) to supply the ship design and equipment package (ULSTEIN COM / Navigation Bridge system, and the integrated automation systems ULSTEIN IAS and ULSTEIN POWER), and also to supervise the shipbuilding works. For the ship's hotel design was contracted the Florida (USA)-based company Tomas Tillberg Design International (specializing in passenger vessel design). The design features Ulstein's patented X-BOW (providing fuel efficiency and significantly improved stability in rough seas). The vessel complies with the 2009-issued SOLAS requirements for "Virtual Anchorage" and "Safe Return to Port" (SRtP) implemented via Dynamic Positioning System (computer-controlled, automatically maintains ship's position) and Zero Speed Stabilizers (roll reduction system).

CMIH also signed an agreement with the Finnish company "IS Makinen Inc" to pre-fabricate the vessels' cabins, wet units and interior public spaces. For this purpose, Makinen established a cabin assembly plant and an interior workshop facility at the shipbuilding yard in China. Project's shipbuilder is the subsidiary company "China Merchants Heavy Industry" (abbrev CMHI, shipyard near Shanghai ).

The ship is powered by 4x Wartsila-20 diesel engines (two 6-cylinder plus two 8-cylinder) running on HFO (heavy fuel oil). The 6-cylinder engines are fitted with Wartsila-NOR (exhaust gas cleaning system, NOx gas reducing technology). The contract with Wartsila was signed in November 2017.

MS Ocean Victory's charter contract with Aurora Expeditions was signed on June 6, 2018. In October 2018 was announced that the boat will be also chartered by Victory Cruise Line (a subsidiary of AQSC-American Queen Voyages ). There were rumors about Poseidon Expeditions also considering a charter deal for the new boat.

In mid-November 2018, AQSC announced an agreement to acquire the brand "Victory Cruise Line", which included purchasing its two chartered (Sunstone Ships-owned) sisterships Victory I (2001-built, now Ocean Voyager) and Victory 2 (2004-built, now Ocean Navigator). To AQSC's fleet was also added the newbuild Ocean Victory - Sunstone-owned and operated by AQSC under charter. All the 3 vessels are in a separate fleet - under the "Victory Cruise Line" brand. The announcement was officially made by AQSC's CEO John Waggoner. The acquisition deal was closed in mid-January 2019. Transaction terms (and price) were not disclosed.

The vessel's propulsion system is diesel-electric (twin-screw) and designed by Brunvoll Volda AS (Volda Norway-based company specializing in marine propulsion, positioning and maneuvering systems). For the ULSTEIN CX103 project, Brunvoll contracted DMC (Damen Marine Components, Hardinxveld Giessendam Holland-based marine equipment manufacturer) to produce and supply the vessel's two rudders (model Van der Velden ATLANTIC) and two steering gear systems (model Van der Velden COMMANDER).

The unspoken rules about how to behave on a superyacht

• The superyachting world is very small, with only 5,800 yachts longer than 30 meters at sea.
• That insularity has bred a specific etiquette, which is often hard for outsiders to know about.
• These are the de facto rules of the most expensive billionaire toys, superyachts .

For the owners of superyachts , privacy is often the most valuable thing money can buy. It's one reason centimillionaires and billionaires pay eight or nine figures for a palace at sea, far from the prying eyes of land dwellers.

Even the most gossipy crew members should stay tight-lipped about the name of a former owner or charter guest, and many brokers shy away from answering benign questions.

That means that, aside from basic safety guidelines, most of the rules of superyachting are unwritten. The very few who need to know them — there are only about 5,800 yachts longer than 30 meters at sea, according to SuperYacht Times — already know them.

But if you do happen to be a lucky guest at a party on a billionaire's $500 million ship or find yourself included in a $1 million-a-week vacation, there are a few things you need to know.

After four days of touring superyachts that sell for as much as $75 million and chatting with the people who buy, sell, and work on them at the Palm Beach International Boat Show , Business Insider gleaned a few key edicts. Given the discreet nature of the industry, almost all the people we spoke with requested anonymity to protect their working relationships, but here's what they had to say.

Take off your shoes

While it's a basic rule for anyone in boating, it may come as a surprise to an outsider that no matter how rich you are or how expensive your heels are, in the vast majority of cases, you can't wear shoes on board.

It's partly for safety — you don't want anyone slipping on a wet deck — but partly to keep the yacht clean. So expect to see barefoot billionaires, and if you forgot to get a pedicure, bring a set of special boat shoes.

Don't make any assumptions about money — but know the signs

In the superyacht world, it's safe to assume almost everyone you meet is very, very rich, and many brokers and builders say you can't judge a book by its cover when it comes to prospective clients.

"It has nothing to do with how they're dressed," one broker told BI. "It's the biggest mistake you can make because a complete slobby-looking guy or couple could be a multibillionaire."

There are, however, a few clues. Watches are one; new footwear is another.

"Rich people always have new shoes," a superyacht expert said. But because of the shoe rule mentioned above, this tip probably applies only when they're on land.

Book your massage early

Wellness areas, including spa rooms with a massage bed or two and a professional-grade facial machine, are becoming must-haves on superyachts . Most have a customized spa menu and a crew member who doubles as a trained masseuse or beautician — and they're usually in high demand.

One captain said he'd implemented a booking system to ensure people weren't fighting for the same spots. A broker said sometimes masseuses would be so busy they wouldn't leave the small spa cabin for hours on end.

Pirates are more real than you'd think, and many superyachts have hidden safe rooms

While you might dress up as a fake pirate for an onboard theme party, there are very real ones — and other dangers — on the high seas.

In certain areas, including parts of the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden, pirates are a cause of concern . In the Red Sea, owners are concerned about the Houthis .

Superyachts can come equipped with sonic weaponry, lockdown systems, and anti-drone protection. Builders are even designing safe rooms — which are apparently just as plush as the rest of the ship.

The longer the boat, the closer to $1 billion

While you can't judge a buyer based on appearances, you can judge them on the length of their boat.

One rule of thumb: If someone has a brand-new 50-meter vessel, chances are they have $1 billion to their name. If it's over 100 meters, expect the owner to have at least $2 billion. And for a boat bigger than that — like Jeff Bezos' 127-meter megayacht Koru — it takes many, many billions.

Money can't buy you everything

The world's biggest, most expensive yachts are custom-built by shipyards that produce only a handful of boats a year.

But no matter how many tens of millions of dollars clients are spending, there are things to which builders will refuse to say yes.

"In the end, the boat has our name," an executive from one of the world's biggest shipyards told BI.

They recalled a client who requested a yellow hull to match his Lamborghini . The shipyard declined, steering the client in another direction.

"If I don't like it, I don't build it. I finalize two or three contracts a year," another builder said. "If somebody can say your vessel is ugly, my reputation is bad."

Yacht crews are trained to make the impossible possible. A guest requests fresh caviar flown into the middle of the Caribbean? No problem. Fresh flowers every day while at sea? It'll cost you, but it can be done.

But they can't time travel, and captains and crew members say the thing that causes the most friction is when a client or owner wants to go from point A to point B — right now.

"The hardest request is when they want the boat in a place — yesterday," one captain said.

The best person to know? A friend with a superyacht

Superyachts are expensive to build and expensive to maintain . According to the industry standard, owning a superyacht will cost 10% of its new-build price annually. For a $100 million yacht, that's at least $10 million yearly going to crew, regular maintenance, insurance, fuel, and dockage.

Chartering, too, is costly . Beyond the list price, which can be hundreds of thousands a week, guests must pay for provisions, which are pegged at 35% of the charter fee, and are expected to tip between 10% and 20%.

So the most important unspoken rule of superyachting is actually that the only thing better than owning a superyacht is knowing someone else who does — and invites you along, of course.

Pengenalan Perbincangan yang terangkum dalam modul hubungan etnik ini memberikan tumpuan khususnya kepada bentuk, tahap, tingkat dan intensiti hubungan antara kumpulan etnik yang wujud dalam sesuatu masyarakat dengan negara itu. Dalam konteks ini, tumpuan adalah untuk mempelajari, menganalisis serta memahami negara dan masyarakat di Malaysia. Namun demikian, bentuk, tahap, tingkat dan intensiti hubungan antara dua kumpulan etnik yang berlainan ataupun antara pelbagai kumpulan etnik tidak semestinya dipengaruhi oleh dimensi etnik semata-mata. Unsur-unsur daripada pelbagai dimensi sosial yang lain seperti kelas, status, agama, gender, bahasa, kedudukan sosioekonomi, ideologi politik dan wilayah adalah penting dan mempengaruhi 2 Hubungan Etnik dinamika hubungan antara etnik; seterusnya mengubah bentuk identiti sesesuatu kumpulan etnik. Dalam menganalisis kedinamikan hubungan etnik, apakah dimensi sosial yang sesuai dalam sesebuah masyarakat? Hubungan antara individu yang ada dalam sesebuah masyarakat tidak sekadar dipengaruhi oleh unsur etnik semata-mata, tetapi juga seperti yang dinyatakan dipengaruhi oleh unsur-unsur sosial yang lain. Dalam usaha mengenal pasti unsur-unsur sosial tersebut, dapat dilihat unsur sosial yang paling mempengaruhi pembentukan identiti kumpulan. Seterusnya, unsur sosial yang manakah pula mempengaruhi bentuk, tahap, tingkat mahupun intensiti hubungan antara etnik yang terhasil daripadanya. Oleh hal demikian, dalam proses mengkaji ciri-ciri yang membentuk sesuatu kumpulan etnik, aspek akar umbi kepada motivasi yang membentuk batas kumpulan perlu difahami. Keadaan ini boleh mencairkan batas kumpulan etnik selain membina ikatan merentas kumpulan dan seterusnya membina kesepaduan sosial dalam kehidupan masyarakat di Malaysia. Sebuah negara, dua imaginasi Sosiologikal: antara 'Perpaduan' atau 'Kesepaduan' Ungkapan 'perpaduan dalam kepelbagaian' – unity in diversity – , sudah menjadi mantra dalam kehidupan seharian rakyat Malaysia. Namun jarang-jarang sekali kita bertanya apakah makna ungkapan ini, adakah perkara itu benar, separuh benar, palsu atau retorik semata-mata apabila digunakan untuk menyimpulkan wajah masyarakat Malaysia. Ungkapan atau slogan ini mengangkat sekali gus memuji kemampuan kelompok manusia yang berbeza-beza hidup dalam sebuah masyarakat. Dari sudut psikologi sosial keadaan ini mengungkapkan satu bentuk psyche manusia, iaitu 'rasa kesatuan' yang merentas pemisahan fizikal dan psikologikal, yang meliputi juga konteks metafizikal. Dari persektif antropologi-sosiologi, khususnya dari aspek epistemologi, slogan unity in diversity merupakan suatu rumusan yang menyimpulkan dan mengartikulasikan bagaimana manusia mengurus dan menyusun, dari segi abstrak dan nyata, perbezaan sosial yang sedia ada dalam kalangan mereka. Perbezaan ini boleh dicirikan oleh unsur agama, etnik, wilayah dan sebagainya. Suasana ini dikaitkan juga dengan penciptaan identiti berdasarkan himpunan sempadan abstrak dan nyata yang telah digarap cipta sesama manusia. Dari sudut ontologikal pula, perlunya mengurus dan menyusun perbezaan ini adalah, pada umumnya, atas keinginan untuk mewujudkan keadaan aman dan stabil dalam sesebuah masyarakat yang rencam keanggotaan kelompok sosialnya agar dapat meraih kesenangan dan mungkin juga kemewahan material. Namun, tidak semua yang mahukan keamanan dan kestabilan. Ada pihak yang menggunakan perbezaan sosial itu sebagai pelantar ideologi untuk memperjuangkan kesukuan dan chauvanisme melalui keganasan. The 140m/459'4" motor yacht 'Ocean Victory' was built by Fincantieri in Italy at their Muggiano shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Alberto Pinto and she was delivered to her owner in December 2014. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Espen Oeino.

Guest Accommodation

Ocean Victory has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 26 guests in 13 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 50 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Her features include a beauty salon, movie theatre, beauty salon, elevator, underwater lights, beach club, gym and air conditioning.

Range & Performance

Ocean Victory is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin electric (16V 4000 M40) 6,973hp engines running at 270rpm, she comfortably cruises at 18 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 25 knots with a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles from her 800,000 litre fuel tanks at 15 knots. Ocean Victory features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 145,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) classification society rules.

Two important events saw the Mangusta Maxi Open by the prominent Italian builder Overmarine again protagonist on the nautical scene: Marine Max exclusive partner for the United States attended the Palm Beach Boat Show , running from March 22 to 25 with the spectacular motor yacht Mangusta 92 and the Mangusta 130 superyacht on display. Burevestnik Group, on the other hand, was the star of the Moscow International Boat Show , taking place from March 20 to 25 exhibiting the scale models of the luxury yacht Mangusta Oceano 148, the superyacht Mangusta 92, the Mangusta 165 as well as Mangusta 130 yachts.

Mangusta 92 Superyacht

MANGUSTA 92 ( an example of Mangusta 92 is the motor yacht ILLUSION ) Stylish and fast luxury motor yacht Mangusta 92 represents perfect proportions. She offers an ambitious layout that permits for 3 beautiful staterooms and a relax room or 4 staterooms, each with high-tech entertainment centers. Run by twin MTU 16V2000M94 of 2600Hp each and Kamewa 56S3 jet drives, the Mangusta 92 achieves the exciting speed of 37 knots.
