Ein untypischer Daysailer aus Skandinavien

LIFE 7.5. Kleine Yacht, große Vorbilder, interessantes Konzept, gerade noch akzeptabler Preis

Die Schweden sind bekannt für ihre schlanken, eher konservativen Yachten mit exzellenten Kreuzeigenschaften. Peter Keerberg bildet hier eine Ausnahme. Er beauftragte Designer Dieter Blank mit der Konstruktion eines Daysailers, der sich optisch an der 82 Fuß langen Wally Highland Fling und konstruktiv an VO-70-Racern orientiert. Das Ergebnis ist eine Yacht mit breitem Heck (2,5 m), markanten Chines und zwei Rudern. Sie wiegt 1.000 kg, 470 davon befinden sich im hydraulisch bedienbaren Schwenkkiel (kein Kippkiel). Trotz niedrigen Aufbaus gibt es unter Deck vier Kojen und eine Minipantry mit Spüle. Das Ambiente ist nüchtern. Die Amwind-Segelfläche beträgt 43 m2, der Gennaker misst 60 m2. Das Deckslayout ist reduziert, Fallen, Strecker und Schoten verlaufen „wallytypisch“ unter Deck. Die Life 7.5 wird im Vakuum-Infusionsverfahren in Polen gebaut. Beim Rigg kann man zwischen Karbon und Rod sowie Alu und Dyform-Wanten wählen. Bugspriet, Pinne und Ausleger bestehen aus Karbon. Basispreis (ohne Segel und MwSt.): ab 46.500,– www.life-yachts.se

The First Class 7.5 stemmed from the close collaboration between the Fédération Française de Voile [French Sailing Federation] and Beneteau shipbuilding who knew how to combine their expertise in the field of high-performance sailing boats intended for training young sailors.  With its particularly sound performance, the First Class 7.5, sturdy, transportable and easy to maintain, constitutes an excellent springboard for sailing clubs and up-and-comers.  Designed by Groupe Finot, this modern and dynamic sports monotype was designed for crewed regattas on a level playing field: learning and improvement, high-level match racing or club racing in fleets.  Through its performance and the sensations that it evokes, it is also aimed at those who want to enjoy practising sport sailing out of competition.

GOLDEN LIFE

GOLDEN LIFE is a 35.0 m Motor Yacht, built in Italy by Azimut and delivered in 2020. She is one of 19 Grande 35M models.
