With this tour, you’ll visit the park and do the Route of the Volcanoes , a bus ride through the Fire Mountains. Then, head to the Visitors Center where you’ll watch impressive geothermal demonstrations.

1. Full day Lanzarote tour, the best quick tour in Lanzarote

Afterward, head to the Cueva de los Verdes , another intriguing place that originated from a volcanic eruption many years ago. Here, you’ll travel through part of a 3.7-mile lava tunnel, which extends from the volcano’s crater to the sea.

The last stop on this Lanzarote tour is the Jameos del Agua , a unique cavern shaped by volcanic lava. Inside, you’ll see a beautiful natural lake and white crabs, an endemic species in Lanzarote. Don’t forget to check out the café here, as well as the gardens designed by César Manrique, Lanzarote’s most prestigious local artist.

At Timanfaya’s Visitors Center , you can watch intriguing geothermal demonstrations to see how the underlayers of soil still emit heat from the last volcanic eruptions. Then, continue your Lanzarote volcano tour by taking a bus ride along the Route of the Volcanoes . During the 35-minute ride, you’ll see the beautiful expanses of Timanfaya’s various landscapes and some of the most active volcanoes in Lanzarote .

The second leg of this day tour through Lanzarote takes you to the town of El Golfo . Here, you’ll see Los Hervideros , a series of rock formations along the coast. You’ll also visit Charco de Los Clicos , a natural crater lake known for its green waters, a result of the high concentrations of sulfur here.

While there are other tours to Timanfaya , this particular excursion is one of my favorites since it includes a visit to La Geria . This town is famous for its vineyards, which must use specific cultivation methods to produce wine in the volcanic soil.

After picking you up, the bus will take you to the port of Playa Blanca , one of the most important tourist centers on Lanzarote. From there, you’ll board the ferry and take the 30-minute ride to the Corralejo port in Fuerteventura.

Sea Safaris Lanzarote Operates ALL Year Round

Our Sea Safari Boat Tours operate all year round with twice daily departures from our base in Puerto Calero Marina.

Departing daily at 09.30  and  17.30  (1st April to 31st October)

and at 09.30 and 15.30  (1st November to 31st March)

Our boat tours last for between 2 and 3 hours as we explore the waters of the Atlantic Ocean in search of the different species of dolphins and whales and other marine life that reside and migrate through these waters.

Our actual passage will depend upon the prevailing weather but will take us within an area of approximately 40 square nautical miles of what we call “Our Bay”, bordered by Punta El Barranquillo to the east and Punta Papagayo to the south west.

Here we have tried to formulate answers to our most frequently asked questions.

When you arrive at the entrance to the Marina, turn immediately to your left after passing the gatehouse and barrier and this will lead you into the car park nearest to the boat.

Sorry, but we do not.

The boat is licensed to carry a maximum of 12 passengers and 3 crew.

The average duration of a boat tour is a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 3 hours.

Perla Blanca I is an open boat, so if we should encounter some choppy waves there is always the chance that you may get “splashed”!!

It is a condition of booking that passengers MUST be able to comfortably wear a correctly fitted life jacket as provided by us. If a passenger is unable to comply with this condition then boarding will be refused.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited on the boat and on the pontoon.

Sorry, but expectant mothers are not allowed onboard due to safety regulations.

The Playa Blanca Port basically connects the south of Lanzarote with the north of Fuerteventura. Therefore, the Fuertevententura from Playa Blanca tour is the only boat trip that can be done from this port, even though only part of the excursion is done by ferry.

What catamaran excursions are there in Playa Blanca?

The tours to Papagayo and La Graciosa are made by catamaran, but they do not depart from Playa Blanca. They offer a transfer service from Playa Blanca.

There are no sunset boat cruises from Playa Blanca . However, if you reserve the sunset boat tour, we’ll pick you up from Playa Blanca and take you to Puerto del Carmen, from where the boat departs.

There is no boat departure to Playa de Papagayo directly from Playa Blanca. However, if you reserve this boat trip from Playa Blanca to Papagayo , we’ll pick you up at or near your accommodation and take you to Puerto Calero, which is the catamaran’s departure point.

Are there any boat departures from Playa Blanca to Puerto del Carmen?

No. The only way to get there is by road.
