Quattroelle

The 86-meter custom-built superyacht Quattroelle was delivered in 2013. Designed for long-range cruising, she requires fewer stops in port than most vessels of her size during extended voyages. The name, Italian for “four Ls,” expresses what she means to the owner: Love, Life, Liberty and Luxury. She is the first Lürssen yacht designed by Nuvolari & Lenard. The designers, who were responsible for both the interior and the exterior, gave her a sleek profile marked by bold yet refined lines and large spaces. The interior is best described as eclectic contemporary, with a comfortable balance between traditional and ultramodern elements. Her fully custom-crafted decor features a sophisticated combination of wood, stone and bespoke fabrics.

Review of superyacht ‘Quattroelle’ who emerged from the Lurssen Shipyard early 2013 as an exciting and much anticipated new edition to the global yacht charter fleet.

At an impressive 88m/288', M/Y Quattroelle was built for an experienced owner who required a luxury yacht that combines world-class design with undulated comfort, keeping the four L’s of love, life, liberty and luxury at the forefront of the brief throughout the build.

A conscious and successful effort has been made by her renowned Italian designers at Nuvolari-Lenard Design , who have teamed up with the award wining shipyard Lurssen for this first time on this project, to create a sleek and elegant profile despite her immense volume. They are also responsible for her luxurious interior, which last month was revealed for the first time since her launch as well as the crew uniforms and even the two custom Colombo tenders.

The Owner of ' Charter Yacht Quattroelle ' , a North American businessman, is familiar with the Lurssen shipyard having bought the 58.5m/192’ ‘ Motor Yacht Capri ’ a year after her 2003 launch. The broker for that deal was Rob Moran of Moran Yacht & Ship who also represented the owner on ‘Quattroelle’ and served as project manager during the build.

'Quattroelle' - Italian for four L’s of Love, Life, Liberty and Luxury at the forefront of the brief throughout the build of this amazing yacht.

For his new superyacht, space was a crucial element of the design in order for his family to spend quality time together enjoying various activities. This goal has undoubtedly been achieved with an impressive eight indoor communal areas on offer, finished in various styles for different purposes.

The design of Quattroelle features a strong connection between inside and outside spaces has been achieved on this luxury charter yacht through intelligent design features and an impeccable attention to detail. Out on the bridge deck, the upper saloon plays host to a luxurious seating, TV screen, bar and a self-playing Steinway piano and opens onto a comfortable shaded seating area that faces the infinity pool and sunpads.

Her vast main deck is divided into several living areas, a successfully well-appointed layout that makes her ideal for charter vacations. Upon entering, a wood and marble floored foyer that houses a majestic staircase and all-access elevator provides a classically elegant yet impressive feel. Quattroelle's main saloon is separated from a library area forward by a partition wall, predominantly made of glass, while structural elements form a break between the seating area and an aft gallery.

Guests can enter the elaborate formal dining area, which offers seating for 16 and can be enlarged for up to 20, straight from the foyer. The outer bulwarks of the room have been designed as outboard folding flaps that when down provide spectacular panoramic views. This area can be completely separated from the main saloon to allow for intimate and private dining amongst an elegant décor of rich woods played off against a cream palette, highlighted by a beautiful chandelier that catches the light.

Unlike many charter yachts, also located on the main deck alongside five of the guest staterooms is one of ‘Quattroelle’s’ most popular features, a large cinema room. Rather than being hidden behind a soundproof door, an innovative sliding wall panel opens the more casually furnished space up into the corridor that leads to the cabins, forming a pleasant flow between the formal and communal areas.

By placing five of the staterooms on the main deck as opposed to the lower deck, space in each area can be maximised plus it allows for a clear separation between crew and charter guests. The styling in each cabin on board Quattroelle varies, however a palette of warm browns, beiges and blues have been used throughout.

The remarkable Owner’s deck above could be considered an apartment in itself, housing two children’s cabins, a private study, two outdoor terraces and a master suite with his and her bathrooms and dressing rooms. Through wide, curved glass doors, the Owner’s saloon sweeps onto the terrace which can be set for small or large dinner parties. Breath taking 180-degree views allow life at sea to be incorporated into the décor that boasts and warm yet contemporary feel.

A strong connection between inside and outside spaces has been achieved on this luxury charter yacht through intelligent design features and an impeccable attention to detail. Out on the bridge deck, the upper saloon plays host to a luxurious seating, TV screen, bar and a self-playing Steinway piano and opens onto a comfortable shaded seating area that faces the infinity pool and sunpads.

Glass sliding doors have been installed throughout to emphasise the feeling of freedom and space that ocean living offers. The extent to which the designer, owner and builder have worked to together on this project is evident at every turn to provide a truly successful flow and flexibility of space.

Launched in 2012, motor yacht Quattroelle (Project Bellissimo) is a full displacement 88 metre Lurssen vessel, designed by Nuvolari & Lenard. The Quattroelle superyacht displays some small similarities with the very successful OceAnco Y-700 series hull platform, which is also created by Nuvolari & Lenard Design of Italy.

Nuvolari & Lenard - Carlo Nuvolari & Dan Lenard - have drawn up both the exterior overall design of the Quattroelle yacht as well as her interior design.

M/Y Quattroelle is a large yacht with a relatively ample volume. The order to build the vessel by the yacht owner was placed in 2010 and the building of the yacht also got underway at the end of 2010. The superyacht had her keel laid in mid September 2010 with the construction of her steel hull and aluminium superstructure getting underway soon after.

Quattroelle is a five deck private yacht providing her guests with a tremendous amount of exterior deck space for entertainment and relaxation. Five decks also means there is every opportunity for a private owners' deck, rather than just an owners' suite.

At 85 metres length overall, she has a maximum capacity for 12 guests on board sleeping overnight in 6 magnificent luxury cabins. There are also two additional cabins providing room for four staff. The 28 impeccable crew sleep in 14 crew cabins.

Quattroelle Specifications

Among special features of the 88m megayacht Quattroelle (Project Bellissimo) belong a heli pad, large gymnasium, spa/salon, cinema, art gallery, an eight-person Spa Pool as well as a direct positioning system.

Quattrolle superyacht also boasts a wide range of water toys, such as three tenders, four Waverunners, water skis, along with a complete dive equipment.

‘Quattroelle’ is a 282.51ft /86.11m custom motor yacht built in 2013 by Lürssen. Nuvolari & Lenard have created a smart, stunning exterior and partnered with Valentina Zannier to create beautiful interior design.

The yacht’s large volume is beautifully disguised by the automotive inspired elements, and sleek profile. Much of the yacht’s design has in fact, been inspired by a Formula One car.

Key points to note include a large infinity pool with jet flow, gym, sauna and steam room, and an owner’s private salon and terrace. You’ll find a generous bathing platform and an art gallery too.

The overall ambience of Quattroelle is helped by the warm hue of both the main salon and dining room, along with the more casual outlay of the decks above. The yacht can be altered to suit the mood of any occasion and is popular with groups of friends and family.

Quattroelle sleeps up to 12 guests in 8 rooms, including a master suite with forward sleeping quarters boasting 180-degree views, a private terrace, formal salon and office, and two extra cabins, perfect for accommodating children. Five more suites are located on the main deck and she is able to carry up to 29 crew members on board who can help to create the most memorable and unique charter experience.

Designed for family living, Quattroelle has 8 communal areas, and provides glorious views on the sundeck.

With a cruising speed of 12 knots, a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 6,000nm from229,000-liter fuel tanks.

She also comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

While on board you’ll find a great Wi-Fi connection, so you can check emails or update social media. Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on the warmest of days.

A movie theatre is perfect for movie buffs, and underwater lights add another stylish twist on this stunning superyacht. A helicopter landing pad is perfect if you’re looking to explore by air and sea.

For those seeking fun in the water, toys include 4 x Waverunners, Scuba Diving Equipment, and Water-Skis.

A Mysterious Middle Eastern Mogul Bought This Spectacular Megayacht With An Infinity Pool

A 288-foot superyacht with an infinity pool, art gallery, and hair salon on board has been purchased and is headed to the Middle East.

The broker, Moran Ship & Yacht , would not disclose the new owner or sale price, but the yacht was previously available for charter for $1.29 million per week.

The Quattroelle, built last year by  Lurssen , has five spacious decks and a number of outdoor social areas perfect for soaking up the sun. 

The streamlined exterior and lavish interior were both designed by  Nuvolari Lenard and can accommodate up to 12 guests in six spacious suites, with space for a crew of 29.

Designers at Nuvolari Lenard didn't want the Quattroelle to look like a small cruise ship — instead they wanted it to look "sporty" and designed the exterior as such.

The owner's deck, seen here, has ample space for entertaining. It's the largest and most luxurious of the five decks with three cabins, four full bathrooms, a day head (small bathroom), an office, a pantry, and two outdoor terraces.

Thirteen different types of stones were used when designing the interior of the ship. A sparkling white double vanity can be seen here in one of the yacht's many bathrooms.

It's not totally clear what's going on with this lighting fixture.

Although the yacht has a full cinema with an enormous screen for movies, almost every room features a smaller screen for guests.

A full bar with accompanying seating area features a mirrored ceiling and is perfect for those chilly nights on the open sea.

The massive yacht has almost too many extravagant seating areas to count, including these two, which face away from each other and attempt to divide the room into two separate sections.

This sitting room, although heavy on pillows, has a tasteful hardwood panel to hide what's no doubt another flatscreen embedded in the wall.

The yacht features a crystal-encrusted dining room that can seat up to 16 for formal entertaining...

...and a more casual (but still somehow incredibly formal) outdoor setting that can seat 14, perhaps for lunch.

Guests who recline in this "alcove" can enjoy a great view of both the television program of their choosing and the wide open ocean. Just be careful not to spill.

Someone really likes pillows.

The impressive engine room is seen here. The yacht's two super-powerful Cat 3516B-HD engines propel the boat forward with style.

The Quattroelle can travel at up to 16 knots, or about 20 miles per hour, an impressive rate for a boat its size.

The ship's captain can speak to the entire crew via a loudspeaker in the pilothouse, and eight screens provide various information to help the crew navigate with precision.

Another of the yacht's 10+ bathrooms is seen here, complete with a tub overlooking the ocean and towels emblazoned with the Quattroelle's signature mark: 4 Ls. They stand for Love, Life, Luxury, and Liberty. Logical for an incredibly fancy yacht.

Even the guest cabins feature desks, in case you need to get some urgent work done during your swanky vacation.

The ship's hallways feature marble floors with delicate carpeting and works of art on the walls.

A grand staircase with a stylized modern banister beckons guests toward the upper levels of the ship.

The full cinema is one of the boat's most unique features — instead of being buried on one of the lower levels of the ship, it's situated on the main deck, allowing guests to make a seamless transition from outdoor to indoor entertainment.

The massive infinity pool has an artificial counter-current and a full dive station, and appears to drop off directly into the ocean.

The ship also features a full on-board spa...

...and this cushy outdoor seating area that directly overlooks the additional eight-person spa pool.

Guests can work up a sweat in the Quattroelle's spacious gym while they soak in spectacular ocean views.

The enormous kitchen is fully-staffed and outfitted with stainless steel appliances, countertops, and cabinets.

Another of the guest suites is pictured here, with a lavish interior and useful room-darkening shades.

Here we can see yet another spacious guest cabin.

Enormous glass windows are a constant throughout the ship, allowing those inside to see the open ocean from almost anywhere.

The boat is large enough to feature a fully-staffed hair-and-makeup salon. It also holds an art gallery.

The belly of the yacht holds luxury water sports toys including multiple jet skis and an additional smaller boat for waterskiing.

Guests can buzz around the ship in the boat's two custom tender dinghies.

These "toys" can easily be loaded back into the ship's garage.
