Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to purchase a ticket to buy pumpkins, produce, and bakery items? Absolutely not! Tickets are only required for activities on the farm (ie. backyard area, corn maze, wagon ride, and Haunted Forest). Our bakery, pumpkin area, and country store are all accessible to guests without a ticket.
  • Who needs a ticket? Anyone entering the backyard activity area, corn maze, wagon ride or Haunted Forest is required to have a ticket.
  • What is included in the daytime admission price? We have one price admission for both adults and children and one senior (60+) price. Children 2 and under are free. Admission for both adults and children includes all of our activities in the backyard, our 7-acre corn maze, and a scenic wagon ride around the farm. Activities are open for both children AND adults to participate in and we would encourage everyone to make memories together by playing together at the farm! We hope that you will enjoy the many photo opportunities in both activity areas and around the farm, the corn maze, petting farm, duck races, hula cows, corn hole, jumping pillows, various mazes, and the corn pit! The only activity not available to older youth and adults is the kiddie zipline (due to height and weight requirements). On Friday and Saturdays, when our flashlight maze is open, your admission INCLUDES the flashlight maze for that evening.
  • What do I have to pay extra for? Anything that goes in your mouth or you take home with you. Additional apple cannon shots can also be purchased on weekends.
  • What types of payment methods do you accept? We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash at the farm. Some registers are card only for safety and efficiency, but cash is accepted at at least one register in each area on the farm. If you want to feed the goats, bring some quarters, as we have quarter feeding dispensers.
  • Are dogs (or other pets) allowed at the farm? Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs or pets at Schuster’s Farm whether on a leash or in your arms. This is due to insurance and liability reasons. Only registered service dogs (which must be properly identified as such) are allowed. We also want you to know that there is not any shade in our parking lot, so having your pet staying in your vehicle is not a safe idea.
  • If I buy tickets online do I need to print them out? Tickets that are purchased online do not need to be printed out. You can show them on your mobile device when you get to the farm. As a last resort, just give your name at our ticket booth & we can look up your purchase as well. When you arrive at the farm, look for the online ticket window!
  • What type of bathrooms do you have at the farm? We have some flush toilets and many portapotties. The flush toilets are closed at night due to issues with destruction.
  • How big is the maze? The maze itself is 7 acres. It is divided into two halves for ease of navigation for the very directionally challenged! Plus we have a little maze for those who only wish to get lost for 5-10 minutes.
  • What age is Schuster’s Farm appropriate for? One of the great things about Schuster’s Farm is the fact that it offers something that everyone can enjoy. From babies, all the way up to grandma and grandpa, our goal is to make sure everyone in your group leaves with memories they will cherish!
  • What are your busiest and slowest times to visit? Saturdays and Sundays are our busiest days of the week. Weekdays are typically less crowded. September weekends and the last weekend in October are typically slower than the rest of October weekends. You may want to plan to come early or later in the season if you are looking for a smaller crowd.
  • How do you make the maze? It’s taken lots of practice … 26+ years of it to be exact! Our particular process of making the maze is a trade secret, but we can tell you that we plant the whole field in the spring and then cut out the design when the corn plants are still fairly short. The design is created on a computer and then transferred into the cornfield.
  • Will I get lost? We hope so! It’s designed to be that way. While everyone does get lost to different degrees, we have designed the maze to be an interactive activity that makes a trip inside the maze more than just a walk through some corn. At the beginning of your visit you have the option of selecting a game that will help guide you through the maze.
  • How do you get the group discount rate? Groups of 20+ are the same as the online price. Tickets can be purchased in one transaction at the farm to receive the online rate and avoid ticketing fees. If purchasing tickets for the Haunted Forest, a reservation is required to reserve the timed tickets. Please complete a contact us form to make your reservation request.
  • Is the farm wheelchair accessible? The corn maze, and most farm attractions are on unpaved farm ground. Wheelchairs, strollers and wagons can be brought on premises and are able to complete the corn maze, but the ground can be bumpy, and sometimes even muddy, in spots. Please use your own discretion. We do have a large hay wagon with a wheelchair lift, so we do have accessible wagon rides.
  • Do you serve alcohol on the farm? Yes, Mitchell’s Minibar Truck has a super fun menu of coffee and drinks-from straight up to spiked. The Minibar is only open on Friday evenings and weekends.
  • Can we bring in food? Our bakery is open anytime the farm is open. Our food trucks are only open on the weekends. Farm guests and field trips may bring their own food during the week. Carry-ins are not allowed on Saturdays and Sundays or Haunted Forest nights unless your group has rented private space..

Growing up in Montana Greg always had an appreciation for the natural world. Although focused on outdoor recreation, he developed a green thumb by helping his parents garden and landscape. Greg's love for travel has taken him around the world where in Southeast Asia he gained an appreciation for fresh, local foods and small farming. While pursuing a BS in natural resources from the University of Idaho ('10), he developed a passion for sustainable agriculture. As an intern at the WSU Organic Farm and working at a few other local farms he gained the knowledge to start his own farm and consulting business.

Truly the best Haunt experience hands down. I watched one woman jump so high she fell down and almost pee her pants. Their ghouls are very into their characters. Creepy….

Schuster's had great scares

Schuster's had great scares, trails and good food. Its pumpkins were the best I had in recent times. The haunted hayride could scare the crap out of you. The lines were a bit long though. Ticket prices were OK. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. Check it out.

Email Verified Great time well spent

It was a great time well spent at the farms. You need to make sure you have enough time to spend and visit all the little attractions and shops. The kids could play hours in the corn pit feeding goats. They loved the pig races and ball shooting games. The donuts and Apple candies were yummy… we are certainly be back.

We had a wonderful time

We had a wonderful time in the corn maze! All the actors did a phenomenal task of scaring us. Loved their costumes and make-ups and their energy level was very high. The set up was very similar to any traditional corn maze, but application of background themed song was unique and it was damn scaring while encountering actors draped in the costumes of monsters/zombies. The path along the maze wasn’t easy and it became confusing. At some times, but it was fun to get lost and expect the unexpected. The staff was very friendly. Certainly, a great place to spend quality time with family and enjoy multiple events at a single place.

Wonderful place for families

One of the best farms I’ve been to. Amazing place and my kids had a wonderful time. The scares inside the haunted house were pretty average but looking at the admission fees it’s very effective. I loved the hayrides, bon fire and ample space for kids to immerse themselves into nature’s play. A wonderful place to visit along with the family. I loved it and definitely visiting it soon. Highly recommended!!

Email Verified Forest scares were awesome

I and GF had a great time at the Schuster's Farm on a Saturday night. It was my first experience in a haunted forest.. I loved the sets and forest scares. The corn maze was awesome.. it also had some of the great scares. My GF screamed and jumped few times. We also took home four pumpkins. Overall, it was scary and lots of fun. I would definitely want to come back.

Email Verified This year was not that good

Highly disappointed. Last year Haunted Forest was a blast and loved it so much that I was waiting eagerly for the next season. But this year I visited with high expectation of a nightmare trail by just pissed off. It not nearly scary this year it was just a ride. Other attractions were fine but haunted forest was too lame.

Email Verified Amazing farm with multiple attractions

Amazing farm with multiple attractions and we loved the corn maze and haunted forest. We visited in a group of six including two kids and we all had a blast. At the very outset, queue was very long and this needs to be improved to reduce the waiting time. Impressed by the set design and all forest hunters and creatures did a fantastic job. We screamed, jumped, laughed and ran so often. In-fact they customized the scares for kids, this was really incredible. Overall, a perfect hang out place for families and we really loved it and recommend it to everyone.

Email Verified Had great fun

Went to Schuster's Farm with my whole family this Halloween. It is great for little kids, but still enjoyable and fun for older ones. The hayride was great fun.. had some scary characters hidden in the expanses. The corn maze also had some bone-chilling scares. My mom screamed as one of the characters started to chase her. The kids had a great time at the pumpkin patch. We also had the best donut and apple cider from here. Also not to miss is the lavender infused honey. Ticket prices were reasonable given the things on offer. I recommend this place for everyone.

Email Verified Ample attractions

Apple ciders, donuts, fudge, kettle corns, caramel apples and lavender infused honey… you must be wondering if this is all in a café.. no… its Schuster's Farm and Haunted Forest… with a fresh baked goodies and farm produce it also has haunts… you will get lost in the acres of corn maze and the wagon ride through the pumpkin field was quite fun. You will have a laughing time playing in the dozens of attractions in the barnyard. Finally you get to take home some of the best pumpkins. This farm is quite child friendly and there is ample attractions to play with and spend idle time… you could easily spend a day here at a moderate price… we will be a repeated patrons for sure.

Perfect weekend getaway

We loved everything about Schuster's … and beware… the day time attractions are not for those who are looking for creepy scares… this is more family oriented… and a perfect weekend getaway… do visit and have fun. The haunted attractions starts after dusk and we are planning to come next time without kids to have some scary fun.

Performance Art--Screams and Laughter

Went there with the kids didn't expect much and was very pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is spooky and they do a great job of startling the guests. But moreso, its a very fun time. Its a worthwhile Halloween destination. Very well run.
