With the City Girls’ return spurred by JT’s release from behind bars, it looks like a project is about to drop any minute.

But for now, the Florida duo has been enjoying some quality downtime while they are in between releases. While Yung Miami has been spending time with her newborn baby girl, Summer Miami , JT has been in the studio cooking up some new music. During a recent livestream with her fans from what appeared to be a studio, the rapper was speaking to Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star Tommie Lee about her life behind bars when Lil Yatchy’s name came up.
As they were talking, Lee big-upped how Lil Boat “stayed down” for the rapper as she finished her one-year prison sentence. “Chile, barely. Yachty is a manipulator,” JT began before she dished to Lee that her Quality Control label mate was preoccupied with other women while she was doing time for credit card fraud.
ICYMI: Yachty co-penned the City Girls’ breakout hit, “Act Up,” alongside JT, and the two are often in the booth together. While there’s been dating rumors between the two, their relationship status was never officially confirmed.
Lee tried to come to Yachty’s defense before the Girl Code rapper told Lee that Yachty did not write her a single letter or email and cheated on her while she was locked up.
“He had this whole b**tch at his grandmother’s funeral and everything,” JT said.
'It’s too much. He stays in the trick zone. He thinks he’s smarter than a b**tch'
JT then called the Lil Boat maestro into the room “to come talk about it.” Sidestepping the allegations, Yachty said he didn’t “know what the f**k” JT was talking about when she claimed he told her that a girl came to see him when he was home for his grandmother’s funeral.
‘We business partners,’ Yachty clarified to Lee. ‘We are working on music’
From there, things got a little heated as Yachty and Lee, who was now #TeamJT, argued back and forth, trading a few verbal jabs. The Atlanta native warned Lee to stop “playing with [his] grandma,” and called “cap” on the whole conversation. The video clips obtained by The Shade Room ended shortly after.
Lil Yachty hasn’t publicly commented on the matter yet either, but Quality Control might want to sit JT and Lil Yachty down to work out things out in private.
Listen to the conversation below.

Free JT may have been the mantra for the summer, but according to the City Girl not everyone was as supportive as her fans.
During her live video on her Instagram , JT revealed that she was working on new music, talked to a few old friends including Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta star Tommie , and gave fans the tea on what really went down in her relationship with “Act Up” co-writer and QC label mate Lil Yachty .
According to JT, Lil Yachty never sent her any e-mails or letters and cheated on her while she couldn’t be with him on the outside.
”Man Yachty is a manipulator and a liar that’s why he stay in the trick zone, because he be lying like he really held me down but he had a whole b*tch at his grandma’s funeral.”
Although you can tell by the video that the two are cool JT made sure that she didn’t fall into the “he said, she said” drama of social media and called Lil Yachty into the room to defend himself.
”Come on in here Miles,” JT yelled before Lil Yachty appeared in the room off camera. “They said you been telling people you held me down. They want to talk about, so let’s talk about it.” JT continued.
Lil Yachty did say a few words before leaving the room claiming that he’s not with the “Instagram sh*t.”
”First off I want to say RIP grandma,” Lil Yachty said. “Ya’ll tripping over my grandma funeral? Like for real this is straight cap and I’m not with this Instagram sh*t.”
Although the status of their relationship is unclear, you can tell it’s not stopping the two from making moves in the studio. After her release two weeks ago, JT was seen two days later in the studio, ready to work and release new music.

Last year, JT started a 24 months prison sentence after surrendering for charges related to felony identity theft, but was released earlier this month after one year for good behavior. Since her original release date was March 21, 2020, she will have to complete one year of probation following her release.

JT Says Lil Yachty Cheated On Her While She Was In Jail
BY Danielle Jennings
Newly released City Girls member, JT , recently had something to get off her chest regarding her relationship with Lil Yachty—and he probably wasn’t expecting what she had to say.
During a recent session on Instagram Live, JT decided to spill all the tea regarding her relationship with Lil Yachty, specifically claiming that he cheated on her while she was in prison and that he never sent any letters or emails. While on the livestream, JT included some of her friends in the chat, such as “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Tommie Lee. As the two were talking, Lil Yachty came up and that’s when JT let it all out.

She admitted that she was very unhappy with how he treated her during her incarceration, claiming that while he always answered her calls, he never sent her any emails or letters. However, the biggest bombshell of the conversation occurred when she revealed that Yachty also cheated on her.
If you’re a City Girls fan, then you’re already aware that Yachty wrote the group’s hit single, “Act Up.” His contribution the group’s success may be why towards the end of the conversation, JT stated that although they are no longer in a relationship, they are still “business partners.”
At one point, Yachty actually made an appearance in the video, which means that they are on somewhat good terms these days. Only time will tell if the two rekindle their relationship.

City Girls Know They’re Raw. Now They Want Respect.
Upon the release of their latest album, Yung Miami and JT open up about their new era of music, evolution, and staying unbothered.
On their new album RAW (an acronym for “Real Ass Whores”), City Girls offer their traditional ratchet, everyday girl rap with hints of vulnerability between songs. Midtempo “Emotions” features Grammy-winning R&B singer-songwriter Muni Long , who begs a prosperous suitor to “open your heart and open your wallet.” “Show Me the Money” sees Yung Miami and JT continuing their paper chase, as the former dismisses romance and opts for the bag: “Fuck love I be playing wit’ ‘em.” Salacious club banger “Piñata” could make your abuela gasp; JT commands her sexual conquest to shower her in Chanel for an opportunity to “hit it.”
As the Dirty South natives tell it, the provocative ethos of RAW is no different from their trendsetter entry into hip-hop, which has been closely followed by the rising generation of brazen female rappers. “When me and Caresha came out, we came back with that fuck that n**** music. At the time, we got bashed for calling men broke; people were cussing us out left and right, saying ‘fuck them hoes,’ ‘they ratchet,’ and [our music] was just real raw shit,” JT tells ELLE.com. “When we came out, everybody kind of switched up what they were doing and how they were presenting themselves.”
Recorded in major cities like Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Miami, RAW reflects City Girls’ growth and coast-to-coast perspective between stops at lively night clubs and hookah lounges. “I think on a personal level, we’re not on the same mindset. We’re older, we’re [in] different locations as far as where we’re living. We’re just not in the same space,” Yung Miami says. “It’s been three years, so it’s just everything; the way we dress, the way we talk, we live, we think… A lot can happen over the years.”
In the five years since making their mainstream introduction on Drake’s chart-topping hit “In My Feelings” (where JT was noticeably absent from the music video due to her previous incarceration), City Girls have taken pop culture by storm. Their witty catch phrases like “period” and “real bad” are synonymous with the Black Twitter lexicon, and both women have achieved commercial fanfare together and individually. Yung Miami, who hilariously deemed herself “The Black Oprah,” is the face of contemporary hip-hop media for her wild REVOLT podcast Caresha Please . JT is a fashion world mainstay, often placed on cyber-chic Y2K mood boards for looks that compliment her longtime partner, rapper Lil Uzi Vert. The ladies are even executive producers of Issa Rae’s Max comedy Rap Sh!t , loosely based on their early career. Florida rap was once known for its gloomy, hypnagogic SoundCloud artists of the 2010s, but City Girls broke the mold and solidified themselves as unapologetic womanist megastars.
But where City Girls have attracted fame, the pair also grappled with misfortunes. In 2020, the father of Yung Miami’s son was fatally shot, and the rapper would later speak about experiencing depression. JT has gotten into occasional spats with “fans” and haters on social media, some involving her high-profile relationship, but the couple shrugs off detractors. During our Zoom chat, JT briefly picks up a call from Uzi. They exchange quick words of affection: “Yes, I do miss you. I love you, too. But I’m gonna call you right back,” JT affirms. This was just days before JT changed her Instagram name to “Jatavia Woods” to match Uzi’s legal surname.
JT might be on her way to “City Wife” goals, but the rapper makes it known that she can still take care of herself. “When you get money, you are independent. Even if you’re in the house with me, I don’t have to tolerate much because I know that I can pay my own bills,” she says. “So as submissive as I can be, I’m still independent when somebody got me fucked up, because I know that I can move how I want to move and I do what I want to do.”
Despite public fodder about their relationships and alleged beefs, City Girls are nonplussed by rumors. “You just learn to deal with being a public figure. You know what comes with it as far as criticism, trending, people talking about you—it’s become natural,” Yung Miami says. “It’s like an everyday part of your life. Everyday somebody’s gonna wake up and tweet about you; you’re a celebrity, you’re famous. It’s just one of those things, which is, if you get it, you get it. It don’t really faze us.”
Maybe that explains why Yung Miami is plainly unbothered about gossip revolving around her past relationship with Diddy, although the two are still friends and business partners. On RAW track “Survive,” she acknowledges their fling: “Bitches want smoke while I’m on the jet with Puff/young bitch from Miami got a n**** tryna cuff.”
Although her romance with hip-hop’s third billionaire was short-lived, Yung Miami imparts dating wisdom that other self-sufficient women can relate to. “I think something that’s important to having a relationship is transparency, being able to communicate with your partner and [compromise]. When you are an individual and independent, you’ve gotta take care of yourself in some type of way or form.”

We grew up off of survival.” —Yung Miami
An anthemic rags-to-riches tale, “Survive” also sees City Girls take on the fast life and harken back to the grit of their South Florida origins. “We live a real raw lifestyle. You can tell the difference between people that have literally been taken care of since they were kids and people that get access to certain things with age,” JT says.
In agreement, Yung Miami interjects: “You know how some people are born with a silver spoon? We grew up off of survival.”
“Since we could understand, we were fighting to survive. Not on no crazy shit, but on some real shit,” JT continues. “That’s just how it goes where we’re from. We grew up [as] ’90s babies in Miami. We’re not from a small town.”
They bring the big city to the runway on RAW track “Work for It,” where JT boasts that her catwalk is “giving Kate Moss.” Historically, female rappers have been arbiters of hip-hop’s connection to high fashion and streetwear, and JT carries the tradition in recent campaigns for Mowalola and Poster Girl . Now with her own forthcoming line , JT confesses that she isn’t “running to every fashion show,” but it’s clear that she’s effortlessly become an It Girl.
“Sometimes people try hard to fit into spaces where people don’t want to nurture them. When I do campaigns, I probably know a person that’s there and I feel comfortable doing it. I’m learning as I go, but I’m not forcing myself into any spaces,” JT says. “What I’m trying to do is be myself and I think that’s what makes it so cool, because people don’t expect it and it’s new to the people where I come from.”
As for the criticism regarding her style experimentation, like her Mowalola x Beats shoot, JT doesn’t sweat online backlash. “I’m glad that people see it, and what makes it so good is controversy, because it's always stupid and ugly to people so [they] make it go viral, and then it becomes a thing,” she says. “Every time I do a photo shoot that don't look right to somebody, they post it because they think that I'm gonna get clowned, and then it just makes me go up.”
Akin to JT’s fashionable reputation, Yung Miami has rightfully paved her own lane in podcast culture, and she’s preparing for the second season of Caresha Please . Wanting to have “real life conversations,” she’s focused on being a resource and speaking to guests about domestic violence, homelessness and politics. The internet once joked about her abruptly using a Malcolm X quote while interviewing Megan Thee Stallion, but Yung Miami insists that her next talking points won’t be a laughing matter: “You have to touch the people and there’s a lot of topics to touch on as far as the day that we live in.”
Even with their individual praises, City Girls have yet to be properly awarded for their efforts as a team. Despite their BET Award and Billboard Award nominations, they still haven’t earned the recognition they’re due. For example, their 2019 song “Act Up” was sampled on Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign collaboration “Hot Girl Summer,” certified three-times platinum, and marks the highest certified song by a rap girl group ever . But City Girls didn’t receive an award to show for the single’s success.
“People try to laugh and clown about ‘Act Up,’ but ‘Act Up’ was a culture shift and it deserved way more than what it got,” JT says. “People sample songs fifteen years out – ‘Act Up’ was sampled within a year. I don’t give a fuck where it came from, how it came about, ‘Act Up’ was a song that deserved way more than what it got.”
I feel like, as the City Girls, we never got the respect that we deserved.” —JT
JT also disapproves of the fact that Lil Yachty seemingly took full credit for writing the song. (He stirred controversy when he revealed himself as a co-writer, then appeared in the “Act Up” music video.) “When you think about it, probably the biggest songs that win Grammys are written by other people, so that don’t even make sense,” JT adds. “I feel like, as the City Girls, we never got the respect that we deserved, and it’s okay. I’m not crying about it, I don’t give a fuck. But that’s when you put your all into you and how you measure your success.”
In a time where the music consumption is largely based on virality, RAW demonstrates that City Girls still have plenty of wins to keep them on everyone’s radar. Looking ahead to dominating every aspect of hip-hop, the duo shows that their dedication to evolving still makes them a force to be reckoned with.
“Whatever we dream of—podcasts, fashion, TV—I feel like we’re doing very, very good by ourselves,” JT says. “I feel like a lot of odds are betted against us. A lot is taken from us, was taken from us, so I hope that we evolve together and individually just to prove people wrong, period.”

Lil Uzi Vert Blasts Lil Yachty Over JT from The City Girls
JT has been very private about her dating life but sis might have some explaining to do after Lil Uzi Vert sent out a very interesting tweet this past weekend.
Fans have been connecting JT and Lil Uzi Vert as a couple for some time now, although it has never been officially stated by either of the two, lyrics to Uzi’s song “Lo Mein” and a recent interview with the City Girls has fans pretty confident that the two are in some sort of entanglement.
“@lilyachty wya you know what u did in 2018,” Uzi wrote to Yachty.
“”What I do,” Yachty repsonded with the surprised face emoji.
“JT,” Uzi responded.
We are not sure what exactly Uzi means by this tweet, but all post have been removed shortly after they were posted. Publicity stunt or love affair?

Jatavia Shakara Johnson | Biography
Jatavia Shakara Johnson began her musical journey with Brownlee in 2017 when they were motivated to record following an altercation with some individuals. The duo purchased a beat from their friend and producer Chad Thomas, known as MajorNine. The beat used rapper Khia Shamone Finch’s raunchy 2002 hit ‘My Neck, My Black.’ The duo then recorded a diss track ‘Fuck Dat Nigga’ as City Girls at Johnson’s father’s in-home studio as a joke.

Jatavia Shakara Johnson, alias JT, is an American rapper. She rose to fame as the one half of the South Florida-based female hip hop duo, City Girls.
Jatavia Shakara Johnson is a rap artist and a member of the hip hop band City Girls born on 3 December 1992 in Miami, Florida. She and her friend Caresha Romeka Brownlee, alias Yung Miami, recorded their first song titled ‘Fuck Dat Nigga’ as City Girls in August 2017. The duo then released their first mixtape titled Period in May 2018. They later released their first studio album, Girl Code, in November 2018. Their second studio album, City on Lock , was released in June 2020.
She Had A Rough Upbringing
Johnson had a very rough childhood because of her mother’s drug abuse. In December 2019, Hotnewhiphop.com reported Johnson’s testimony about her childhood. She said, “My mother was an addict. I hate drugs. I don't even smoke weed. I get upset about it too. Drugs ruined my childhood!”
She Met Her Bandmate Caresha Brownlee In Her Early Teens
Johnson met her future rapping partner, Caresha Brownlee, known as Yung Miami, through mutual friends during her early teenage years. Johnson knew Brownlee’s middle school best friend, and Brownlee was close with Johnson’s cousins. At age 17, Johnson and Brownlee used to go to block parties, clubs, and strip clubs with their friends.
She Released Her Debut Track ‘Fuck Dat Nigga’ With Caresha Brownlee In 2017
Johnson began her musical journey with Brownlee in 2017 when they were motivated to record following an altercation with some individuals. The duo purchased a beat from their friend and producer Chad Thomas, known as MajorNine. The beat used rapper Khia Shamone Finch’s raunchy 2002 hit ‘My Neck, My Black.’ The duo then recorded a debut studio track ‘Fuck Dat Nigga’ as City Girls at Johnson’s father’s in-home studio as a joke and Brownlee’s cousin as the engineer. The track is described as “a diss track towards their ex-boyfriends for not giving them money when they asked.”
Even though the song was just recorded and released for fun, it started making waves. However, in the meantime, Johnson was arrested and held on credit card fraud charges. This left Brownlee the burden of judging whether the song they had recorded for fun could become their career. In such an unusual situation, Brownlee decided to promote the music. She told The Fader in August 2018 that when Johnson was in jail, she promoted the song by paying DJs to play the track in strip clubs. After that, the song quickly gained hundreds of thousands of plays.
The song also appeared on Quality Control: Control the Streets, Vol. 1 . The compilation debuted at the top of Billboard’s ‘R&B/Hip-Hop’ chart. It also reached number five on the Billboard 200 chart. In addition, the duo made the official music video of their first single featuring rapper Trina. The music video appeared in January 2018.

The Success Of Their Debut Track Earned Them A Signing Deal
When the duo’s song ‘Fuck Dat Nigga’ started taking off, it caught the attention of Quality Control Music’s Pierre “Pee” Thomas and Kevin “Coach K” Lee. Johnson and Brownlee soon signed with the record label Quality Control Music in the fall of 2017. According to Brownlee, they were in confusion when they signed with the record label. In an interview with Rolling Stone in July 2018, Brownlee said, “When we got signed, we said to each other, ‘Man, we ain’t no rappers for real. We finna sign this contract like we playin’ with these people!’” However, she said Thomas and Lee helped turn them into artists during the recording process of their mixtape Period .
In May 2018, City Girls released their first mixtape, Period , which went to number 16 on Billboard’s ‘Heatseekers Albums’ chart the same month. The mixtape also ranked 26th on Rolling Stone’s ’30 Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2018.’
Two months later, the duo rose to prominence after assisting with songwriting and vocal contributions to Canadian rapper Aubrey Drake Graham, a.k.a. Drake’s song titled ‘In My Feelings.’ The track became a number one pop hit in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and several other territories.
First Studio Album
The hip-hop duo released their first studio album, Girl Code , in November 2018. The album featured vocals from rappers including Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, Dominique Armani Jones, and Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax, known by their professional names Cardi B, Lil Baby, and Jacquees respectively. The album reached number 31 on Billboard’s ‘Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums’ chart and 63 on Billboard 200. In 2019, the duo released several singles, including ‘Act Up.’
Second Studio Album
On 19 June 2020, City Girl’s second studio album, City on Lock , leaked online. Johnson announced hours later that the album would be released at midnight on the same day. The album featured appearances from Doja Cat (Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini), Lil Baby, Lil Durk (Durk Derrick Banks), and Yo Gotti (Mario Sentell Giden Mims).
The hip-hop duo released a new single titled ‘Twerkulator’ on 21 May 2021. They released their latest single titled 'Top Notch' on 1 April 2022.
She Was Arrested And Convicted Of Fraud Charges
Shortly after releasing their debut single ‘Fuck Dat Nigga,’ Johnson was arrested for fraudulent credit card charges in June 2017 at a Nordstrom luxury departmental store. She was arrested after purchasing a pair of shoes from the store. Prosecutors in Johnson’s fraud case argued that she used a handful of stolen credit card numbers to purchase clothes and gift cards from stores in the mall in 2016 and 2017.
Some celebrities supported Johnson and showed their displeasure with Johnson’s incarceration. For example, her fellow Miami-based rapper Trina showed her support by wearing a tee-shirt with “Free JT” imprinted on it, and Drake wrote “Damn free my shorty” on Instagram.
After being held on credit card fraud charges, Johnson pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft in January 2018 and was sentenced to 24 months in federal prison.
The judge agreed to push back Johnson’s surrender date after her lawyer provided a schedule of City Girls’ upcoming gig at the BET Awards in June.
Johnson’s lawyer requested another delay a week before Johnson was set to go to jail, stating that she was getting meteoric bookings and rapper Drake had just co-signed her. Though the judge did not fully grant the second requested extension, Johnson was sanctioned to complete her verse for Drake and perform at the awards show.
On 30 June 2018, Johnson took to Instagram to admit that she would be going to prison after being previously out on bond. “Did more than I thought I could imagine in this short period of time out on bond. Now it's time for me to knock this down and come back strong forever. Hold my baby down y'all,” she wrote in her Instagram story at the time.
After turning herself into authorities, Johnson was held at the Federal Detention Center in Miami. She was then reported to jail for a two-year jail sentence, and she began serving her sentence at Federal Correctional Institution - Tallahassee (FCI Tallahassee). She was slated to be released on 21 March 2020.
On 8 October 2019, TMZ reported that Johnson was out of prison and was shifted from FCI Tallahassee to an Atlanta-based halfway house. The web portal also reported that Johnson would finish her sentence in a halfway house, where inmates get a lot of extra benefits like being allowed to go outside of the house to work and visit family and friends.
She quickly took advantage of her freedom and dropped the new song, ‘JT First Day Out,’ the same day she was released from the prison. “This really my first day out I ain’t wait a day!!!!,” she wrote in an Instagram post, alongside a sneak peek of the new song.
When one Twitter user asked what she did on her first day out, Johnson said, “On a studio bus driving to the halfway house, recording, doing my hair, nails, make up and spending time with my loved ones all at the same time.”
According to the Federal Bureau of Prison records, Johnson was officially released from RRM Atlanta on 7 March 2020. Shortly after her release, she took to Twitter to express her excitement about sleeping in her own bed after a long time. “Woke up in my own bed for the first time in 2 years! Happppppyyyyy 🙃,” she wrote on her now-deleted tweet, along with a collage of photos of herself in her room lying in bed.
Jatavia Shakara Johnson Mugshot
In December 2020, Johnson went off on bloggers who posted her mugshot. “Why you uploading me like if I was I’ll be like why are you worried about her like don’t worry about me. I was 18. I’m 28. It was literally 10 years ago,” she said on IG.
She went on to say that the mugshot was taken when she was a kid and wasn’t even wearing makeup. “I was a kid like I had just woke up. My face was swollen. I had crusted my eyes, crushing my mouth, everything the bounty hunters had just got me. I was just savage like I already was living like that like not for fake but for real. I was living like that. Stayed up out of my business y’all,” she added.
She further explained how her looks have changed over the years.
She Dated Fellow Rapper Lil Yachty
Johnson was in a relationship with rapper Miles Parks McCollum, alias Lil Yachty, who has served as a lead songwriter on the City Girls’ hit track ‘Act Up’ from their debut studio album Girl Code . However, things turned sour between them sometime in 2019 when she was serving jail time. A couple of weeks after she was officially released from prison, Johnson mentioned during a live stream with her fans in October 2019 that Lil Yachty never sent her any letters or emails during her prison sentence and that he cheated on her while she could not be with him on the outside.
Is Jatavia Shakara Johnson (JT) Dating Lil Uzi Vert?
After her relationship with Lil Yachty ended, Johnson started dating rapper Symere Bysil Woods, professionally known as Lil Uzi Vert, in late 2019. The two’s dating rumors swirled for months as they dropped hints about each other on social media. For instance, in November 2020, Woods posted a throwback picture of the pair on his social media account, which fans believed was a clear sign of a romantic relationship.
According to The Sun, Johnson also occasionally took to social media to speak about or to Woods. For example, when Woods wrote “I only love myself” in his now-deleted tweet in 2020, Johnson responded, “Same here, f*** n****.”
The rapper duo again fueled the dating rumors when Woods dropped a tweet on 25 February 2021 that reads, “Don’t act like I ain’t get you ya first Birkin.” The tweet was thought to be directed at Johnson because it referenced City Girls’ hit song ‘Birkin P***y.’ Johnson responded to his tweet with a couple of laughing face emojis attached. A fan replied to her, saying Lil Uzi was wrong for shading her like that. However, she quickly responded to the fan asking why everything Lil Uzi said towards her was looked at as bad and why they thought he was being shady.
After months of a rumored relationship, Woods confirmed their relationship late at night on 28 February 2021 by mentioning Johnson in a tweet that read, “JT is the one.” The tweet came after Woods sent Johnson some crab legs, which she said she had been craving in an earlier tweet. Woods also shared a video on his Instagram Story of Johnson enjoying the seafood, and she thanked him for the food via tweet.
On the midnight of 1 March, Woods proclaimed his love for Johnson by tweeting, “I had 2 be real with myself I love JT and y’all will 2.” In a subsequent tweet, he penned “My Darkqueen” with love emoji attached.
After dating each other, Woods spoiled Johnson with expensive gifts. She took to Instagram Story in April 2021 to announce that her boyfriend had given her a diamond ring and chain, commemorating Wood’s 2016 project Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World , embroidered on the back with “Uzi first piece” and “To: JT.”
In May 2021, during an appearance on Respectfully Justin , Johnson revealed that Woods gifted her bag full of cash on her first date with him. “I had a little Chanel bag and he told me to take as much as you can. I could only fit $30,000, and I was so mad,” Johnson said. “I don’t want to keep talking because I don’t want it to seem like I’m bragging. I have a good man. I didn’t even know he was a good man. I was fucking with him for almost two years before I found out he was a good man.”
Johnson also gifted Woods a car for his birthday in August 2021. However, the couple sparked rumors of a breakup when fans found both rappers unfollowed each other on Instagram. Woods wiped out his Instagram page and unfollowed everyone on the app, including Johnson. Woods was also not found on Johnson’s following list. But some sites claimed that unfollowing each other did not necessarily mean the couple had split up and that they might just be going through “a rough patch.” In the meantime, some sources claimed that the two split due to Woods’ treatment of her bandmate Brownlee.
However, in December 2021, Woods reserved a whole theme park for Johnson’s 29th birthday. He booked Nickelodeon Studios Park at the American Dream Mall in New Jersey. Many sources claimed that Woods might have had to pay around $50 thousand to get the whole theme park for themselves for the day.
The couple enjoyed the various fun rides. Johnson posted several snaps of the day on Instagram with the title “Best Birthday Ever.” Woods also surprised her with a brand new McLaren 720s and a handbag.
Woods declared his love for her in March 2022, tweeting, “I love JT so much that I will do anything for her she is the best feeling I ever had in my life.”
The couple again sparked rumors of their break up in April 2022 after Woods tweeted that Johnson broke up with him. He tweeted in the early hours of 5 April 2022 that Johnson broke up with him over a trivial matter. Woods continued sharing his emotions about his breakup the next day, dedicated to Johnson. According to Woods, she broke up with him over an old tweet when a Philadelphia-based visual artist Anhia Zaira Santana, a.k.a. Distortedd, retweeted Woods’ 2015 tweet, where he attempted to hit her.
However, a week later, Johnson and Woods reconciled as she declared her love for him. “You know I love you like no one else could,” she wrote on Instagram, alongside an image of the pair.

JT from City Girls Says She Finds out Lil Yachty Cheated on Her While She Was in Prison
Lil Yachty reportedly cheated on JT. The City Girl rapper tells all in a new Instagram live stream.
Fans of "the City Girls'" have been anticipating JT's release from prison since last year.
JT began her sentence last year after singing on Drake’s summer classic hit, “In my feelings.” JT, birth name, Jatavia Johnson, gave herself up to the authorities on June 29th, 2018, according to reports by Hot97.
According to Hot New Hip Hop, the rapper was sentenced to jail for credit card fraud, making her other half, Yung Miami, the only one left to run the show. During the challenges, the entire Quality Control crew had her back as they anticipated her release.

Thankfully, she came back home this month. The Florida-based girl band is currently enjoying a break from making hit songs, as Yung Miami focuses on her newborn baby, Summer. Regardless, JT is solely working on dropping some fire records for her fans.
While speaking to her fans in a recent live-stream on Instagram, the rapper opened up about her stay in jail and her relationship with Lil Yachty. She reportedly said that the rapper cheated on her, as reported by Hot97.
The Shade Room on Instagram uploaded the highlight of the video and in the clip, she said :
"Yachty is a [expletive] manipulator… he had his whole [expletive] at his grandma's funeral, child and everything. He's just too much."
JT also mentioned that Lil Yachty didn't send her any letters or e-mails, Hot New Hip Hop disclosed .

Asian Doll Alleges That JT "Sucked" Lil Yachty For "Act Up"
Asian Doll spews allegations against JT of the City Girls and Lil Yachty, claiming that JT engaged in sexual acts with Lil Yachty in exchange for writing "Act Up".
Oh lord, this feud is getting heated fast. Over the weekend, Asian Doll called out Megan Thee Stallion and the City Girls, claiming that she was supposed to be on their collaborative record "Do It On The Tip", which is on Megan's debut studio album Good News . She didn't end up making the final cut, and she supposedly got a little messy when she decided to play the uncleared record on Instagram Live. That much incited a major beef involving all of the mentioned parties , as well as some forces that have absolutely nothing to do with the fight.
As of this publication, BIA stepped in to support Asian Doll and several others have also spoken up. In the midst of the battle, which features tons of since-deleted tweets and a very popular live stream from Asian, the Dallas-based rapper brought Lil Yachty into the mix, alleging that JT of the City Girls performed sexual acts on Yachty in exchange for the "Act Up" record.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CJCZh7kBFD6
In case you didn't already know, Lil Yachty wrote the majority of "Act Up" , the record that really put the City Girls on the map. He's admitted as much, and now his involvement in the song is being brought up by Asian Doll as she tried to get the upper hand during her beef with JT, Yung Miami, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Following JT's deactivation of her main account on Twitter , Asian Doll wrote: "Yatchy wrote hits for b*tches while I FREESTYLE all my sh*t while me and yatchy record you s*cked his d*ck for ACT UP as well."
https://www.instagram.com/p/CJCmYkUhEsM
The tweet was deleted, but this isn't the first time we hear of anything sexual happening between Lil Yachty and JT. During her prison stint, JT seemingly alleged that Lil Yachty cheated on her with another woman , despite them not publicly dating. She claimed that the rapper didn't send her any letters or e-mails, which soured their personal relationship.
We'll keep you posted on all of the pertinent updates regarding Asian Doll's beef with the City Girls, specifically JT, and Megan Thee Stallion.

City Girls’ raunchy lyrics and persona are all their own, but Lil Yachty helped the Miami duo with their latest hit single, “Act Up.”
Yachty shared details behind his collaboration with the rappers, noting that he penned the song with the exception of J.T.’s second verse on the song. “When it came out, people was so shocked and they didn’t believe it,” he told influencer and DJ Kerwin Frost Thursday (April 18). “I wrote the whole song, except for J.T.’s last verse. But everything that everyone is singing, I wrote the whole thing.”
J.T. (Jatavia Johnson) is credited as a writer on the song, but Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee isn’t. This doesn’t take away from Yung Miami’s pen game as she’s noted as a writer on other songs from their album, Girl Code .
Yachty added this was his first time writing a song for another artist. He was inspired to do so by a friend and wanted to embody their raunchy style with the track. “I just thought like them. I know them personally and I know what women like to hear,” he explained. “I was like, ‘What’s some raunchy sh*t?’ So before I went in the booth, I said, ‘No homo y’all.’ Because all my boys was in the room. And I started saying just crazy sh*t. But I came out and I was like, ‘Y’all watch, this is about to blow up.’”
Yachty was right. In addition to the Cardi B -assisted “Twerk,” “Act Up” has been sitting pretty on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Act Up” hit the Top 40 recently while “Twerk” reached No. 29 in February. City Girls recently earned their third week at No. 1 on the Emerging Artists chart.
Yachty says the experience has inspired him to write for other artists and engage in writing camps with producers. A few of the songs he’s done will be dropping soon.
“People always try to discredit me. So when I saw it, I realized how I get my credit a different way,” he said. “I write sh*t all the time… I can think like other people. That was a real fun experience for me, and it was most fun when it leaked to the public. I spent a few days just reading people’s responses because I didn’t speak on it, I didn’t say anything.”
Yachty’s knows a thing or two about making hits. The artist has two Top 10 singles and earned a Best Rap/Sung Grammy Nomination for “Broccoli” with D.R.A.M. in 2016.

NBA YoungBoy Says He Dissed Lil Yachty for Calling Him About City Girls' JT
Staff Writer
View this post on Instagram A post shared by
NBA YoungBoy dropped his latest project, Richest Opp, and the song "F*** the Industry is getting a lot of attention.
In the song, YoungBoy takes aim at J. Cole and Drake, who he says refused to work with him due to his ties to Lil Durk. YoungBoy raps, "Talked to Drake 'cross FaceTime, he wasn't feelin' me/Told me that he f*** with Durk, damn, that sh*t gettin' to me/Told me that he like the sh*t I'm doin', but can't do sh*t with me/So when we cross our ways, f*** what you say, b*tch, you my enemy."
While addressing J.Cole, YoungBoy raps, "J a ho, that nigga played it cold, like he was gon' do a feature/So I texted his line, a muscle sign, I swear it's gon' be nice to meet you."
Elsewhere, the Louisiana spitter got at Lil Yachty, "Play with me, Lil Yachty mad about JT, f*ggot / B*tch, play with me, half of y’all ain’t got more money than me."
Lil Yachty seemed confused about the diss, as he shared a meme of 50 Cent saying, "I mean, why he say f*** me for?"
This led to YoungBoy posting a video, where he addressed Yachty, stating, "This n***a Yachty crazier than a muthaf***a, son. Aye b*tch, you got me laughing over here, boy. B*tch, you know why I said that, man."
YoungBoy then explained that Lil Yachty once called to question him about talking to his then-girlfriend, City Girls rapper JT. YoungBoy stated, "If I ain’t mistaken, bro, you say you asked me about trying to talk to your b*tch. And I was confused 'cause you a hoe and you was coming at me, like, I ain't really do that. B*tch, I got a mental problem over here and I got too much money."

NBA YoungBoy Disses Drake, J. Cole & Lil Yachty On Fiery New Song 'F-ck The Industry Pt. 2'
NBA YoungBoy has taken aim at Drake , J. Cole and Lil Yachty on his fiery new track, “Fuck The Industry Pt. 2.”
The Baton Rouge rapper released his latest album Richest Opp on Friday (May 12), which includes a song loaded with lyrical darts at several big-name rappers.
YoungBoy starts off by calling Drake a “bitch” and his “enemy,” referencing the 6 God’s relationship with Lil Durk and claiming that he refused to work with him despite praising his music.
“ Talk to Drake ‘cross FaceTime, he wasn’t feelin’ me/ Told me that he fuck with Durk, damn, that shit was gettin’ to me/ Told me that he like the shit I’m doin’, but can’t do shit with me/ So when we cross our ways, fuck what you say, bitch, you my enemy ,” he snarls.
Drizzy has collaborated with Durk — YoungBoy’s bitter rival — numerous times in recent years, including on 2020’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” and his Certified Lover Boy album cut “In the Bible.”
NBA YoungBoy then goes onto call J. Cole — who appears on Durk’s new single, “All My Life,” which also arrived on Friday — a “ho” for apparently ghosting him after they made plans to work together.
“ J a ho, that n-gga played it cold, like he was gon’ do a feature/ So I texted his line, a muscle sign, I swear it’s gon’ be nice to meet you ,” he raps.
Akademiks claimed in March 2021 that J. Cole waited eight hours in the studio for NBA YoungBoy , but he never showed up.
“J. Cole waited in the studio for eight hours for YoungBoy to show up,” Ak said. “YoungBoy didn’t show up. Facts. These are facts! Your favorite rapper, n-gga. J. Cole? He sat in the studio for eight hours for a session with YoungBoy. YoungBoy never showed up. Let me be fair to YoungBoy. No disrespect to J. Cole, J. Cole’s just a rapper.”
He added: “YoungBoy be going through shit. He’s living life, he’s going through shit. YoungBoy said, ‘Yo, my energy is not fit to be in the studio with that guy.’ It wasn’t about J. Cole. It was just that he, and personally what he was going through, wasn’t fit to be in that environment.”
NBA YoungBoy caps off the venomous track by calling out Lil Yachty over his prior relationship with City Girls’ JT.
“ Bitch, play with me, Lil Yachty mad about JT, f-ggot/ Bitch, play with me, half of y’all ain’t got more money than me ,” he spits.

While neither Drake nor J. Cole have responded, Yachty took to Twitter shortly after the album’s release to react to YoungBoy’s diss. The Atlanta rapper posted a short clip of 50 Cent asking in disbelief: “I mean, what he say ‘fuck me’ for?!”
YoungBoy replied with a video of his own, in which he claimed Yachty had “checked” him for shooting his shot at JT when they were still together.
“Yachty crazy than a muthafucka. Aye bitch, you got me laughing over here, boy. Bitch, you know why I said that, mane. You called me talking about that crazy ass girl, boy,” he said before laughing.
“Mama, that bitch really checked me ’bout that girl. That bitch checked the gangsta, man … If I ain’t mistaken, bruh, you say you X’d me out trying to talk to your bitch. And I was confused ’cause you a ho and you was coming at me like — I ain’t really do that.”
He added: “Bitch, I got a mental problem over here and I got too much money. You n-ggas might as well stay the fuck out my way.”

NBA YoungBoy’s Richest Opp was released via Never Broke Again/Motown Records and includes 17 new tracks, with a sole feature from NBA Ben10. It’s his third release of the year following January’s I Rest My Case and April’s Don’t Try This at Home .
