PROMETHEUS is one of Sydney’s most recognised Luxury Yachts and one of our most popular vessels for charter on the Harbour. This stunning 77’ Warren Yachts Supernova can accommodate up to 36 guests for harbour cruising and events, and up to 6 guests overnight throughout 3 luxurious cabins. PROMETHEUS is widely regarded as one of the most stealthy and impressive looking vessels available for private charter on Sydney Harbour. She was relaunched in 2022 following and extensive refit and refurbishment which resulted in a completely new interior layout, new furnishings, trims, fixtures and fittings.

PROMETHEUS has been remodelled to provide complete flexibility to customise the interior furniture to best suit the type of charter, be that a small family day (or night), right up to a fully catered corporate function, birthday party or even promotional event.

The upper deck interior is uniquely bright, open and airy thanks to 360 windows and large glass doors opening onto the large sundeck. If requested the sunroof opens to create a stunning beach club experience bringing in the outdoors but with indoor comforts and facilities. For the full outdoor experience, the PROMETHEUS’s large sundeck can be configured with minimum furniture or furniture for a small group dining option. The wrap around lounge is comfortable and configured for social interaction and can be supplemented with additional seating if requested.

PROMETHEUS also boasts full length lower deck with stairs leading down to a large living and dining area with full kitchen and bar facilities, ideal for service of our premium dining options. The lower deck is bathed in natural light thanks to a huge centre skylight and large windows. The lower level, as with the upper level can have the furniture configured according to need.

The crew onboard are highly trained professionals, providing an extremely memorable experience, whatever that occasion may be.

Standard Timeslots. Quoted rates for day charges between 9am and 5pm or evening charter between 6pm and 12pm. All other times subject to approval and rate variation. Minimum Hours. Three Hour Minimum Off-Peak, Four Hour Minimum Shoulder & Peak unless approved by operator. Travel Time. Our free pickup / drop off zone is between Drummoyne Ferry Wharf and Rose Bay Ferry Wharf, additional travel time charged for pickups or drop offs past these points. Overnight Charters. Quoted price includes 4hrs cruising time 6pm to 10pm. Overnight berthing fees vary depending on location. Amenities Fee Inclusions Use of Premium Champagne Flutes, Wine Glasses, Drinking Glasses,Cuttery, Dinner Plates, Side Plates, Desert Bowls, Serving Platters, Serviettes, BBQs, Oven, Microwave, Cooktop, Bath Towels, Hand Towels, Use of Eskys, Fridges and Supply of Ice.

Any damage to vessel will be charged at rate to repair to previous undamaged condition. Bond Required. Standard $2,000 per charter cleared funds / $3,000 overnight charters. Behavior / Conduct. Charters provided on the condition that guests follow crew instructions. Failure to follow instructions, high levels of intoxication or abuse of staff / guests will result in termination of charter, no refund will be payable.

PROMETHEUS is the slick, black charter yacht cruising around Sydney Harbour. The custom 77ft Warren Yacht is the perfect size for intimate events, corporate functions, product launches and any other special events. With a substantial beam width of 6m, she offers her guests ample floor space for dancing, mingling or seating.

Relaunched in 2020, PROMETHEUS has been remodelled to provide complete flexibility to customise the interior furniture to best suit your needs. And as of September 2022, she has had brand new engines, generators and electrical systems installed – and is running like a new boat. The upper deck also resembles a fresh, new yacht, with premium finishes and additional space.

She can comfortably accommodate up to six guests for overnight charters, featuring three cabins with three bathrooms and multiple living areas. Guests onboard PROMETHEUS will enjoy the highest quality along with the best possible service.

This fully renovated luxury yacht can comfortably carry 36 guests across its two spacious levels. She really is the entertainer’s dream, with her open plan area that carries from aft-deck through to the saloon. Formal dining is available on the upper deck, surrounded by 360 degree views under her enormous sunroof.

Those looking for fun will be impressed – as the sun goes down and PROMETHEUS turns into an exclusive night time venue on the water, complete with LED disco lights that synchronise with the music, and top of the range BOSE sound system. There is also space for DJ decks and additional speakers.

In the water, PROMETHEUS has on offer a large inflatable pool which is netted to 2m deep. She also has a 16m floating pontoon, perfect for lounging and sun tanning on those hot summer days.

PROMETHEUS has been remodeled to provide complete flexibility to customise the interior furniture to best suit the type of charter, be that a small family day out, a birthday party or right up to a fully catered corporate function, (she takes up to 36).

The upper deck interior is uniquely bright, open and airy thanks to 360 windows and large glass doors opening onto the large sundeck. If requested the sunroof opens to create a stunning beach club experience bringing in the outdoors but with indoor comforts and facilities.

For the full outdoor experience, the PROMETHEUS’s large sundeck can be configured with minimum furniture or furniture for a small group dining option. The wrap around lounge is comfortable and configured for social interaction and can be supplemented with additional seating if requested.

PROMETHEUS also boasts a full length lower deck with stairs leading down to a large living and dining area with full kitchen and bar facilities, ideal for service of our premium dining options. The lower deck is bathed in natural light thanks to a huge centre skylight and large windows.

Overall, PROMETHEUS is the ultimate stylish entertainer whatever the event. The crew are highly trained professionals with extensive experience in providing an extremely memorable occasion, whatever that occasion may be.

Prometheus is a 77 foot luxury charter yacht manufactured in 2001 by Australia’s renowned Super Yacht Builder – Warren Yachts with her striking dark silver hull contrasted with her metallic silver super structure.

In 2015 she underwent a full renovation including a luxury fit out and full reconfiguration of the upper saloon to offer a huge entertaining space.  Prometheus is the entertainers dream, boasting a huge open plan upper saloon with luxury custom designed joined interior / exterior deck area that offers guests a spacious area for entertaining all year round on Sydney Harbour.

Prometheus can adapt to your specific requirements with the ability to customise the configuration in the upper saloon/ deck, comfortably accommodating 36 guests for cocktail events and 16 formal dining.  The lower saloon was designed with a luxuriously appointed U shape seating area with fully equipped open plan galley positioned directly opposite.  The lower saloon features natural lighting supplied by a huge skylight.

Prometheus was built with your comfort in mind, being fully equipped with high capacity reverse cycle air conditioning serving the upper saloon and many features including a large cockpit sunroof, large swim platform, inflatable tender garage, lower saloon skylight for natural lighting and lets not forget the latest audio visual equipment.

What is the maximum capacity of the boat?

The vessel is surveyed to hold a maximum of 36 passengers, plus 2 crew. Please note, an infant, regardless of age is considered a passenger. 

Is the boat suitable for children? 

Yes, it is suitable for children, but they must be under adult supervision at all times.

Can we have music on board?

Yes, the vessel is equipped with a sound system where you can plug in a music compatible device like an iPhone. Please ensure your phone or MP3 player is fully charged with battery. 

Where can we go during our charter?

Our professional skipper can take you to most places within Sydney Harbour given that it is within the vessels surveyed boundaries. 

Can we extend our charter time during the charter?

Yes, you may extend your charter time, but this is subject to availability. The charter will be extended based on the decision of the captain on board and payment will be processed post charter by authorised bond or credit card. 

How do I secure my booking?

A minimum of 50% deposit is required to confirm your charter booking, with the balance payable 14 days prior to the commencement of the charter. Should you book your charter within 14 days prior to the date of charter, full payment will be required to confirm your charter booking. Upon payment of your deposit, a Skippered Charter Contract will be emailed to you, confirming details relevant to your charter, which must be signed and returned. 

Is there any paperwork to complete before we go on our charter?

Yes, we require your signed contract and authorised bond form prior to your charter commencing. 

If I cancel the charter, can I get a refund?

We do not offer refunds should you wish to cancel your charter. If boating conditions are unsafe, as determined by the management, we will offer a six month voucher to reschedule your charter based on availability. 

Preparations and Arrival 

It is suggested that you bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, swimmers and a seasonal jacket to the charter as weather conditions can vary on the water. 

Does our party need to get there before the set time of the charter?

All parties should arrive at the designated charter pick up point at least 15 minutes prior to your charter time to allow loading of passengers, and gear and to enable enough time for the skipper's safety briefing. 

Service of Alcohol 

Under the NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Code we reserve the right to refuse alcohol to anyone deemed to be intoxicated. In the case of BYO charters we reserve the right to limit their consumption and/or to have them removed from the vessel.

Drugs policy 

If we find that charterers are consuming drugs on board our vessels they will be removed from the vessel immediately at their expense and/or and the police will be called.

Prometheus is a 77ft Warren Yacht suitable for all types of events on Sydney Harbour. She is able to accommodate 36 passengers. She offers BYO services on board. Her luxury internal area and open back deck gives you and your guests an amazing tour on Sydney Harbour.

April – September : Weekday   $1000 per hour ( minimum 4 hours) Weekend   $1100 per hour ( minimum 4 hours)

Shorter cruises subject to approval

January – March & October, November : Weekday   $1350 per hour ( minimum 4 hours) Weekend   $1450 per hour ( minimum 4 hours)

December : Weekday   $1450 per hour ( minimum 4 hours) Weekend   $1550 per hour ( minimum 4 hours)

Food & Beverage : Additional or BYO welcome

Service fee : $15 per person Includes glasses, plates, cutlery, ICE, esky, napkins

Wait staff : $260 per wait staff (4 hours) $65 per hour thereafter per waitstaff 1 – 12 passengers – 1 wait staff required 13 – 24 passengers – 2 wait staff required 25 – 36 passengers – 3 wait staff required

Wharf fee : $50 per docking Additional travel fee applies for wharves past Drummoyne Ferry Wharf or past Rose Bay Ferry Wharf
