Hanse 360: Comfort and Eco-Friendly Cruising in 2024
Scheduled for a mid-year debut, the Hanse 360, the latest addition to the successful collaborative series with yacht designers Berret-Racoupeau, boasts cutting-edge design ensuring great sailing performance and an unusually high level of comfort within its class due to its generous volume of space.
Distinguished by the distinctive Hanse chines, the new model not only presents a striking visual profile but also enhances stability and overall performance. For added versatility, an optional bowsprit is available, extending sail options and boosting on-water performance. In line with the Hanse brand ethos, the Hanse 360 is designed for swift cruising and easy handling. All control lines are directed to the helm station, ensuring a safe and comfortable sailing experience suitable for solo navigation, a hallmark of the Hanse tradition.
In a nod to sustainability, akin to the recently unveiled Hanse 410 , the Hanse 360 will offer an electric drive option with an impressive range, setting a benchmark in its class for eco-friendly cruising without reliance on wind.
The official launch of the Hanse 360 is slated for summer 2024, with a grand world premiere scheduled for the Cannes Yachting Festival in September of the same year.

First Peek at the Brand New Hanse 590 “Small Super Yacht”
The game is afoot in the German town of Greifswald. The German builder Hanse, one of the world’s leading production sailboat builders, has introduced a new flagship model that the German press is calling a “small super yacht.”
Hanse has always worked hard to stay out in front of the competition with innovative designs and sail plans and thoroughly modern build techniques. They can compare in many ways to the boats coming out from Group Beneteau, Bavaria, Dufour and others, but there is something decidedly German in every Hanse yacht.
That promises to show up in spades in the new Hanse 590. So new, the design is not yet on their website. But, the editors at the German sailing magazine de yacht, who no doubt have many friends at Hanse, were given a first look and published a preliminary design review at the end of March. This article will be the 590’s introduction to the North American market so you are getting the very first peek.
A few highlights: The full-cockpit hard top, with a sliding middle section, will offer great protection for the crew and provides an excellent spot to mount solar panels. A dinghy locker has been built into the transom. The rig has Hanse’s customary self-tacking jib augmented by a roller furling reaching sail for extra power; yet, all can be managed from the cockpit.
Down below, the 590 has the accommodations and accoutrements of a super yacht because her hull has so much volume. The owner’s cabin forward is, again, a super yacht feature. And, the saloon is a proper saloon in the traditional sense, with a huge galley, a table that will seat eight or more and a proper nav station.
Sixty feet is big for a cruising couple, but Hanse seems to have created a yacht of this size that is completely manageable. She going to turn a lot of heads when she is launched later this year.

The new Hanse 360, the fourth model in the successful new range from the collaboration with the yacht designers at Berret-Racoupeau, will be launched in the middle of the year. Its cutting-edge design not only ensures outstanding sailing characteristics, but also an enormous volume of space and thus an unusually high level of comfort in this class.
The typical Hanse chines give the Hanse 360 her striking appearance and also contribute to her stability and performance. An optional bowsprit extends the sail options and provides the yacht with additional performance on the water. Like all Hanse yachts, the Hanse 360 stands for fast cruising and easy sailing. All lines are led to the helm station, so that the yacht is not only safe and comfortable, but also fully suitable for single-handed sailing, as is usual with Hanse.
To ensure sustainability even without wind, just like the recently presented Hanse 410, the Hanse 360 will also be available with an electric drive with a long range that is unique in her class.
The new Hanse 360 will be officially launched in summer 2024, before celebrating its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
