"RUMBERA" is a proven tournament winner built by an avid billfisherman and famous yachtsman Joaquin Bacardi.   She has only had 2 owners since new.   Bacardi sold her in 2017 to the second owner who spent over a million dollars updating her in the summer of 2017 at American Custom Shipyard.   Almost every system was replaced since 2017 or newer.  

"RUMBERA" is on the market because the owner moved up to a 122' Trinity Sportfish.  Since 2017, she has only had light use - an average of 150 hrs a year. 95% cruise - 5% fish - extremely light fishing.

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with grp & teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V2000 M93) 2,400hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 29 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 37 knots with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles from her 14,383 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her low draft of 1.7m/5'7" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 1,325 Litres of fresh water.

S/V Rumbera departs from Bainbridge Island's Waterfront Park, an easy walk from the ferry landing and downtown Winslow. Leaving the dock, we'll pass through beautiful Eagle Harbor before raising sails. To the east is the iconic skyline of Seattle, with majestic Mount Rainier to the south, the Olympic Mountains to the west, and Mount Baker to the north.

Depending on the day, we’ll get up close to seals, explore some beauti ful harbors with stunning waterfront homes, and maybe even spot whales. Or we could see a nuclear submarine, inbound container ships, or century-old schooners.
