GFK - Yachtrümpfe

Es gibt eine grosse Anzahl an Modellbauern, die ihre eigene Yacht bauen wollen, aber das nötige Know-How für den Bau eines Rumpfes fehlt. Hier biete ich Ihnen die Möglichkeit, zumindest bei der Basis des Aufbaus einer Yacht zu helfen. Oft kann ein vorhandener Rumpf mit ein paar Abänderungen in Länge und Bullaugenverteilung zu dem gewünschten Vorbild abgeändert werden.

Ein Modellschiff besteht aus dem Rumpf , dem darauf verklebten Deck und normalerweise noch einem Aufbau - meist zu sehen bei Flybridge-Yachten (steuerbar von der "fliegenden Brücke" und aus dem Inneren der Yacht. Hier biete ich ausschliesslich die Schiffsrümpfe an, die aus Polyester-GFK in höchster Qualität und in Handarbeit "made in Germany" gefertigt sind. Diese werden ausschliesslich in meiner eigenen Werft und nicht ausser Haus hergestellt. Es ist nicht von jedem Modell, welches es als Baukasten gibt auch der einzelne Rumpf erhältlich, wie es auch nicht auf jedem Rumpf ein fertiges Modell gibt. Viel Spass beim suchen...

I Have the Legend, My Friend has the Monsoon. Both these Boats are Great Value, Only Difference being the top Deck . the Legend is easier to Tape the Hatch Down, The mainly White Sails on the Monsoon is easier to See in open Water. I thought RC Yachts were for Old Farts, But No they are a Lot of Fun in a Group, I use the Turnigy 5 chn Mode 2 Mini Stick Radio in mine, Works well ,,about 150 metre Range Too Easy......Bob

Very fast order shipping Euro Warehouse to Belgium. All received OK. Boat in perfect state. incredible value and quality in relation with that HK price. Have the boat now for 14 days and have approx 12 hours sailtime with it. totally no problems, even the standard servo's are still working fine.For the ballast weight, I have 1550gr of lead (1510 gr lead and 40gr seal epoxy), ballast lead must be between 1500 and 1700 gram. Please take reference to shipshape rc com, incredible site all abouth those boats. Superb look on the water - my first sailboat - and for me it gives me so much pleasure, really a top product.

Great sailing boat. Keel is very strong so if you hit shallow rocks it will survive fine with no damage. I recommend using tape to hold down to canopy as you dont want any leaks in there. Sail is holding up very well for the material and has been accidentally put though some trees and sharp branches but still fine. Recommend to new sailers.

Overall, this is a pretty sailboat, and although it took awhile for me to receive this item, it finally arrived. Assembly was fairly easy, and the instructions were good. I actually heard something rattling inside the hull, but couldn't find it at first. Once assembled, I went to water test it, and after a two minute test, I found there to be water in the hull. I finally found the item rattling inside, and see that the keel to hull support pipe had snapped off during transit. The hull was leaking through the keel screw attachment point. This shouldn't be, and I am trying for a "no FUSS" fix to the problem and wrote it up under the warranty and returns section. That was SIX days ago and I still haven't heard a word. Hopefully I can get this thing sailing again soon, without worrying about sinking. By the way, my one criticism of this boat is that it's a bit narrow on beam, and with a little more width, I feel it would be a lot more stable in a good breeze. I am looking forward to sailing her again, as soon as we find a solution to this dilema.

Sicher, fr ambitionierte Segler gibt es bestimmt einiges an Verbesserungspotenzial, aber fr mich als Freizeitsegler ist es schon ziemlich perfekt! An meinem Ententeich bin ich sogar oft der flotteste Wellenreiter... Danke HK!

I reseved the boat with broken servo tray. It could be glued, but I decided to replace the huge 130 gram sail winch and screw on the 55 gram servo. It good enought for a less then one meter boat. The maximum weight of ballast could be 2.5 kg, but the keel is made of plastic. I've cut 7 cm from it bottom to reduce bending. Now the boat run much more better against the wind.

Wer sich diese Boot kaufen mchte, sollte schon einige handwerkliche Fhigkeiten mitbringen. Auspacken, zusammenbauen und lossegeln ist nicht. E sei denn, man legt keinen Wert auf guten Geradeauslauf und sich verziehenden Rumpf. Meistens sind irgendwelche kleinen Anbauteile abgebrochen. Diese kann man weglassen, weil sich die Seile darin verheddern. Viel schwerwiegender ist, dass die Ruderfhrung bei meinem Boot um 10 schief eingeklebt war. Also mute ich das Bootsdeck aufschneiden, um einen Zugang zu dem Rhrchen zu bekommen. Schmerzlich aber wahr. Bei einer geschlossenen Bauweise ein echt schwieriges Unterfangen, wenn die Optik nicht darunter leiden soll. Auerdem sollten Spanten eingebaut werden, damit sich der Rumpf nicht durchbiegt und die Belastung des Mastes auf das Deck sich in Grenzen hlt. Zumindest sollte ein Spant zwischen Mastfu und Kielkasten eingebaut werden. Wegen der engen Luke, mu dieser Spant halbiert und jede Hlfte einzeln eingepasst werden. Also. Nur Mut, wer es sich zutraut.

Just like the monsoon, but with an easier hatch to seal. They do sale ok in stock form, but if you want to get competitive, there is plenty of info around. I used to think RC sailboats were for the older generation, but it really is a great hobby. I really enjoy sailing these boats with my 8 year old son.

Von Edmond Bruce wurden die unten dargestellten Beziehungen zwischen dem L/D-Verhältnissen vom Rumpf und Segel und der erreichbaren „Höhe am scheinbaren Wind“ ermittelt und grafisch dargestellt. —– (L/D – Lift/Drag)

Die erreichbaren L/D-Verhältnisse für Kieljachten, also auch unserer Modelljachten liegen um 3, während die L/D-Verhältnisse der Segel um 6 liegen. Mit diesen Werten stellt sich eine Höhe am scheinbaren Wind von etwa 28° ein, welches ein durchaus üblicher Wert ist.

Eine Verbesserung des L/D-Verhältnisses des Rumpfes von 3 auf 5 würde bei konstantem L/D des Segels die scheinbare Höhe am Wind auf etwa 21° verbessern, während eine Verbesserung des L/D-Verhältnisses der Segel bei konstantem L/D des Rumpfes wesentlich deutlicher ausfallen müsste, um eine nur annähernd gleich gute Verbesserung der Höhe am Wind zu erreichen.

Die Beschäftigung mit dem Rumpf, der Kielflosse und ggf. dem Ruder ist mindestens ebenso wichtig wie die Verbesserung der Segel .

Many RC sailboats are delivered with a plastic hull made of ABS. This plastic is highly weather-resistant, easily deformable and very stable. If you are thinking about a regatta and competition with other model sailors, you should go for a hull made of GRP. Glass-fibre reinforced plastics are extremely stable and can often withstand major jostling and minor accidents on the water without damage. Model builders who enjoy building models should go for a kit. With construction kits, there is a choice between ready-made hulls or a construction made of wood.

RC sailboats for children

RC sailboats are not suitable as children's toys. However, older children and teenagers can gain their first experience with the support of adults. Manufacturers recommend kits and models only from the age of 14.

mein name ist mike und komme aus dem hohen norden.Ich habe mich früher schon einmal mit dem Schiffsmodellbau beschäftigt,habe aber dann durch meiner zeit beim bund den faden dazu verloren.Ich würde gerne das schiff auf dem mein opa kapitän war und ich als kind viel mitgefahren bin gerne als rc modell nachbauen.Nun ist meine frage ob man sich den rumf irgendwo anfertigen lassen kann weil ich nicht weiß wie man sich den ruppf selber herstellt.

vielleicht könnt ihr mir ja ein paar tips geben.

Hallo Mike.

Einen Rumpf selber anfertigen ist wohl das kleinere Übel.

Das grössere ist den richtigen Plan zu beschaffen.

Wenn du uns mal sagst, was du denn überhaupt bauen willst, dann könnten wir alle sicherlich bessere Infos geben.

Wenn dein Opa da Kapitän war, sollten sich von dem Schiff doch über diverse Beziehungen die Pläne beschaffen lassen. Das wäre das geringste Übel.

Außerdem solltest du dir auch überlegen, wie genau der Rumpf stimmen soll. Muss er für dich absolut exakt und maßstäblich sein, oder reicht es dir, wenn der Rumpf dem Original täuschend ähnlich sieht. Das ist ein Punkt, der ganz entscheidend den Arbeitsaufwand beeinflusst.

Erstmal herzlich willkommen hier im Forum!

"Hoch im Norden" ist ja relativ. - Wenn Dir Kiel nicht zu weit entfernt ist, dann kannst Du mich gerne mal besuchen kommen. Denn wenn Dir einer was über Rümpfe erzählen soll, dann dürftest Du bei mir genau an der richtigen Adresse sein.

Mit solchen Anfragen kommen oft Leute zu mir.

Das Problem ist dann meisten, dass der Opa nicht mehr lebt, das Schiff längst abgewrackt ist, die Reederei lange nicht mehr existiert und die Werft auch nicht...

Die Leute können mir dann ein oder zwei schöne schwarz-weiß Fotos vorlegen - und das war's.

Im günstigen Fall kann noch ein Generalplan aufgetrieben werden.

Aber da sind dann kein Spantenriss oder geschweige denn Detailpläne dabei.

Fotos (falls Du welche hast) wären natürlich auch sehr hilfreich.

Was ist in dem Generalplan denn so drin? Ein Spantenriss vielleicht, oder "nur" Decksschnitte?

Da Mike ja oben die IMO-Nummer angegeben hat, findet man ja leicht Ansichten vom Schiff. Ist auf jeden Fall ein interessantes Vorbild.

Hier im Forum findest du auf jeden Fall durch Fragen und Stöbern in alten Beiträgen ausreichend Anleitung zum Bau eines Rumpfes, jedoch wäre es wesentlich leichter, wenn du dir jemanden von uns in deiner Nähe "ausguckst", der schonmal einen Rumpf gebaut hat (oder so ein Angebot wie von Thomas annimmst) und dich mit demjenigen "vor Ort" austauschen kannst.

Vielleicht wäre ja sogar ein wenig "aktive Hilfe" drin... Wer weiß?

Ein Generalplan ist ja schon die halbe Miete.

Ich habe es selber noch nie gemacht, aber es ist möglich aus einem Seiten & Linienriss die Spanten auszuarbeiten.

Das habe ich schon irgendwo einmal gelesen, aber ich weiss nicht mehr wor.

Ansonten könntest du eventuell mal dein Glück mit FreeShip versuchen.

Da kann man Bilder vom Original als Hintergrund reinsetzen und dann virtuell auf dem Plan zeichnen.

Die Spanten ergeben sich dann beinahe von selbst.

Ist aber eine zeitaufwändige Friemelei und ich hab es bisher auch noch nicht zufriedenstellend geschafft.

Übung macht den Meister.

Kurze Frage: Hast du schonmal ein Schiffsmodell gebaut?

Nichts ist frustrierender, als ein Modell zu bauen, was einen überfordert, wenn man noch Anfänger ist.

Das ist immerhin ein sehr spannendes Schiff, aber da müsstest du wohl schon recht genau wissen, wie das baust.

Ich wäre dort ein wenig vorsichtig, wegen dem Schwerpunkt.

Das Schiff hat sehr hoch aufragende Aufbauten im Verhältnis zum Rumpf.

erstmal möchte ich sagen das ich aus der nähe von Bremerhaven komme,

ich habe vor 3 jahren den löschkreuzer Weser halb fertig bei ebay gekaf und den dann fertig gestellt.im vergangen jahr habe ich dieses modell dann verkauft weil ich nochkeinen platz hatte und es immer im weg stand.nun bin ich umgezogen und habe platz für eine ganze flotte.

Toll, Andreas, aber ich sehe nicht, dass Mike schon erwähnt hatte, in welcher Größe er bauen möchte.

Wenn Mike jetzt so viel Platz hat kann er ja vielleicht auch ein Modell im Maßstab 1:10 oder so unterbringen.

Und Jo, es irgendwo gelesen zu haben, reicht eben meistens nicht!

Ich baue übrigens gerade einen Rumpf eines Miniensuchbootes Typ 35 in Maßstab 1:25 im Auftrag (Länge über 2,7 m).

Bei Interesse kann ich ja ein neues Thema aufmachen und über den Baufortschritt berichten ...

Ich hänge mal ein Bild von M 35 Rumpf mit dran. So sieht es nach einer Woche harter Arbeit aus.

Ich habs aber gefunden-das war ein Baubericht in einer "Schiffsmodell" .

Zumindest hat der Erbauer geschrieben, dass er schon einiges an Übung hat aus Generalplänen einen Spantenplan herzustellen.

So ist dann sein Modell entstanden.

Wie das nun genau gehen soll kann ich mir auch nicht erklären.

Ich behaupte mal, dass ist dann ein ähnlicher Rumpf, aber nicht ein genauer.

So jungs erstmal bitte nicht streiten.ich denke dabei schon an einen größeren Maßstab habe mich aber noch nicht genau festgelegt.Aber so zwischen 180-230 cm sollte es schon sein.

Einen >Rumpf der dem orginalen ähnlich ist habe ich im internet nicht finden können.Könnte daran liegen das das schiff damals extra für die damaligen millitär transporte gebaut worden ist.Ich kann mich noch recht gut dran erinnern das sehr viele u-boot teile von kiel nach nord Norwegen Gebracht wurden.(es exestieren auch fotos davon).ab den frühen 90ern hat es alles gefahren.Ich würde unseren erfahrenden modellbauern auch den generalplan zukommen lassen um sich den rumpf anhand des planes zu betrachten und ob man einen ähnlichen rumpf so umbauen kann das es dann dem orginal entsprechen würde.

Habe mir mal die Originalmaße angesehen. Groß ist der Dampfer ja nicht wirklich.

Original Länge 78m, Breite 13m gibt im Maßstab 1/50 eine Modellänge von 1,56m und eine Breite von 0,26m. Im Militärmaßstab von 1/35, da gibt es ja genug an Zubehör und Figuren, immerhin eine Länge von 2,22m Länge und 0,37m Breite. Zum besseren Transport ist es ab hier sicher nötig, den Rumpf zweigeteilt zu bauen.

Bei den Kontakten die Du hast, versuch doch mal an den Dockingplan zu kommen. Da sind eigentlich alle wichtigen Informationen für Modellbauer drin.

Von Sizilien aus betrachtet ist München schon hoher Norden und alles diesseits des Elbtunnel ist Süd-Scandinavien.

Andersrum ist alles jenseits des Elbtunnel für uns Norditalien.

Der Standpunkt ist entscheidend! - Wo wir sind ist oben!

Ich freue mich immer und staune auch gleichzeitig, wenn (z.B. in der Bucht) jemand ein "reisiges Modellschiff - über 80 cm lang" anbietet.

Was würden solche Leute wohl zu meinem aktuellen über 2,7 m langen Modell sagen? - Und das ist für mich eigentlich noch nicht riesig ...

so habe es endlich geschafft den gerneralplan des schiffes hochzuladen das ich gerne als modell bauen würde.es gab die diskusion ob man anhand des planes einen spanntenriss erstellen könnte.ich selber bin in der hinsicht einen rumpf selber anzufertiegen grün hinter den ohren das gebe ich ganz offen zu,aber dafür gibt es dieses forum,um sich auszutauschen.anhand des planes können nun andere sehen was ich plane und mir ihre meinung dazu sagen.

Ach ja, mit solchen Plänen kann man schon eine Menge anfangen;)

Im Grunde brauchst du nicht mal einen Spantenriss, man kommt auch so ganz gut zurecht. Mit nicht übermäßig viel Aufwand kommst du damit sicherlich zu einem Rumpf, der dem Original recht nahe kommt.

Reicht dir das nicht, sprich muss der Rumpf perfekt stimmen (was meiner Meinung nach überflüssig ist, aber das muss jeder für sich entscheiden), dann ist natürlich ein Spantenriss nötig, den man mit erheblich mehr aufwand auch erstellen könnte - evtl. auch mit ein bisschen mehr Input.

Mein Vorschlag, wenn du den Rumpf bauen möchtest und nicht 100%ig genau sein willst:

Jedes Deck hat im Maßstab ja eine bestimmte Höhe. Kauf dir Styrodurplatten und zeichne eine Längslinie ein. Dann zeichnest du den Umriss des oberen Decks auf die Oberseite und den Umriss des unteren Decks auf die Unterseite der Platte. Dann alles ausschneiden, an den Kanten entsprechend Schräg, damit man einen schönen Übergang von einem Deck zum nächsten bekommt.

Auf diese Weise bekommst du dann eine Schicht um die andere, die kannst du aufeinander kleben und dann mit Raspel und Feile in Form bringen. Ein bisschen Augenmaß brauchts dafür schon, aber eine große Kunst ist das eigentlich nicht.

Naja und schon hast du einen ganz passablen Rumpf, den man vom Original kaum mehr wegkennen wird, außer man kommt mit Messschieber und Spantenriss zum vergleichen;)

Meiner Meinung nach ist die von Jürgen vorgeschlagene Vorgehensweise zur Rumpferstellung der falsche Ansatz, käme doch dabei allenfalls ein zurecht geschustertes Ergebnis bei heraus. Warum soll Mike nicht von vornherein den Rumpfbau auf klassische Weise mit Spanten auf Hellingbrett korrekt lernen?

Der o.a. Rumpf ist mit seiner überwiegenden Kastenform nahezu ideal dafür. und Glasgewebematten laminieren...

Denn die Rumpfherstellung ist bei dem ganzen Projekt noch die leichteste Übung! ;-)

Als Maßstab würde ich 1:50 wählen, keinesfalls größer!

Meiner Meinung nach ist die von Jürgen vorgeschlagene Vorgehensweise zur Rumpferstellung der falsche Ansatz, käme doch dabei allenfalls ein zurecht geschustertes Ergebnis bei heraus. Warum soll Mike nicht von vornherein den Rumpfbau auf klassische Weise mit Spanten auf Hellingbrett korrekt lernen?   Der o.a. Rumpf ist mit seiner überwiegenden Kastenform nahezu ideal dafür. Ich würde Mike empfehlen, noch etwas zu recherchieren, bis die korrekten Spantenrisse vorliegen und dann den Rumpf auf klassische Art und Weise herzustellen, also Spantengerüst aus einfachem Sperrholz, mit Balsaholz beplanken, innen mit Epoxydharz streichen und von außen mit Epoxydharz und Glasgewebematten laminieren...

Klare wäre das die bessere Methode, keine Frage. Allerdings muss er dafür eben erst einen Spantenriss bekommen. Wenn das geht, ganz klar, dann ist es wohl sogar einfacher, über Spanten zu arbeiten. Wenn er aber keinen bekommen kann, ist es allemal besser was "zusammen zu schustern" als gar nichts in der Hand zu haben. Bei meinem letzten Modell musste ich erfahren, dass es manchmal gar nicht so einfach ist, einen Spantenriss oder überhaupt gute Pläne zu bekommen;)
