Nach Yacht-Unfall folgt die „Mega-Katastrophe“ bei den Geissens

Seit mehreren Folgen nun schon verfolgt „Die Geissens“ eine kleine Pechsträhne. Auch in der aktuellen Folge rollt direkt das nächste Problem an – die Indigo Star strandet.

Das neue oder besser gesagt nächste Zuhause der Geissens ist Dubai. In den letzten Folgen ließen sie ihre Yacht „Indigo Star“ dorthin verlegen, kauften sich eine Villa und feierten zuletzt ganz ausgiebig ihren 29. Hochzeitstag. Zwischendurch lief immer etwas schief – so auch in der neuen Folge.

„Ich bin total geschockt“

Und schon entfaltet sich ein neues Drama in Dubai: „Ich bin total geschockt“ oder „das sieht nach einer Mega-Katastrophe aus.“ Grund für die Hysterie auf Seiten von Robert und Carmen Geiss ist ein Unfall ihrer Yacht „Indigo Star“. Während die Kult-Millionäre gerade schick in einem Restaurant saßen, kam der Anruf – ihre Yacht ist auf den Strand aufgefahren.

Ihr Boot steht schief, halb im Wasser, halb auf dem Strand. Grund für die ungewollte Parkposition ist wohl ein elektronischer Schaden gewesen. Durch ein technisches Problem konnte der Kapitän den Gang nicht mehr herausnehmen und stand vor der Wahl in den Strand oder in andere Boote hineinzurasen. Robert Geiss ahnt Schlimmes: „Alles kann kaputt sein. Riesen-Schaden, Riesen-Katastrophe und wir können mit der Indigo Star in Dubai nichts mehr anfangen.“ Mit einem Schlepperboot wird ihre Yacht wieder zum gewohnten Hafenplatz geschippert.

Carmen Geiss verliert nicht ihren Witz

Am nächsten Tag bekommen die Geissens dann die Gewissheit. Bei einer Probefahrt soll sich herausstellen, was alles kaputt ist. In all der Ernsthaftigkeit verliert Carmen nicht ihren Witz und scherzt beim Anziehen der Schwimmweste: „Ich glaube, meine Brüste sind zu groß. Das passt nicht.“

Am Ende hatten die Geissens Glück, denn lediglich die Passarella, ein ausfahrbarer Steg für den Übergang von Boot zum Land, ist kaputt. Robert Geiss ist erleichtert: „Die Testfahrt war erfolgreich. Ich bin immer treu. Ich bin meiner Frau treu seit mittlerweile 40 Jahren, der Indigo Star über 10 Jahren und so wird's auch weiter bleiben, bis sie verreckt.“ Auch gut für den Kapitän, denn der war quasi schon gefeuert, wie Robert verrät.

Ein royaler Ball und der erste Job ohne ihre Eltern

Auch in der zweiten Folge „Davina & Shania – We Love Monaco“ passiert so einiges Interessantes. Während ihre Eltern um ihre Yacht bangen, haben die Geissens-Töchter ihren ersten eigenen Job ganz ohne ihre Eltern. „Ich gehe davon aus, dass sie mittlerweile alt genug sind“, so Papa Robert. Die 19-jährige Shania und die 20-jährige Davina geben Interviews, haben Fotoshootings und Pressetermine. „Alleine Interviews zu geben ist schon eine Herausforderung. Wir mögen es gerne, wenn Mama und Papa dabei sind.“

Nach all dem Drama rund um die Indigo Star und den Job-Terminen der Töchter in Deutschland gibt es jedoch auch die gewohnte Ladung Glamour. In einem Ball in Monaco vergessen die Geissens dann ihre Sorgen. Übrigens: Neben ihnen auf der Tanzfläche war Fürstin Charlene anzutreffen.

Die neuen Einblicke in das Leben von Davina und Shania Geissens sendet RTLZWEI immer montags um 21:15 Uhr. Am 29. April gibt es vorher wie gewohnt um 20:15 Uhr eine neue Folge „Die Geissens – Eine schrecklich glamouröse Familie“. Auf RTL+  können die Reality-Dokus ebenfalls gestreamt werden.

Alarm auf der "Indigo Star": Das schicke Boot der Familie Geiss läuft in Dubai auf Grund – das weckt unschöne Erinnerungen.

Schreckmoment mitten im Urlaub: Carmen (58) und Robert Geiss (60) gönnen sich eine Auszeit in Dubai, doch dann der Schock! Die geliebte " Indigo Star" macht große Probleme. In den neuen Folgen von " Die Geissens – eine schrecklich glamouröse Familie " (29. April 2024, um 20:15 Uhr, bei RTLZWEI) lassen es sich die beiden nämlich in einem Beachclub gut gehen, während die Yacht auf eine Sandbank aufläuft. 

Bei den Geissens werden unschöne Erinnerungen wach

Es wäre nicht das erste Mal, dass ein Besuch im Beachclub "Sea Fire" ein böses Ende nimmt. Während sie dort nämlich im Januar 2023 eines Tages zu Gast waren, explodierte daheim der Porsche GT in der Tiefgarage in Monaco. Die Eltern im "Sea Fire" ahnten nichts Böses – doch Tochter Davina (20) schwebte während des Unfalls in großer Gefahr. Erinnerungen daran kommen wieder hoch, als die " Indigo Star" vom Kurs abkommt.

Davina Geiss hatte Glück im Unglück

Dass der Vorfall mit dem Porsche bei der Familie Spuren hinterlassen hat, ist kein Wunder. Immerhin ging er nur um ein Haar glimpflich aus: Eigentlich wollte Davina damals nur das Auto in der Tiefgarage abstellen. Doch als sie aus dem Auto stieg, fing es Feuer . Sie reagierte schnell, versuchte zu löschen. Vergeblich. Auf Instagram teilte die 20-Jährige später eine Fotoserie mit der Beschreibung "Es ist wie ein Albtraum". Darauf zu sehen: ein stark ausgebranntes Luxusauto. Papa Robert reagierte fassungslos auf die Bilder: "Da ist mein nagelneuer Porsche GT einfach in Flammen aufgegangen. Wie das passieren konnte, ist mir ein Rätsel." Trotzdem lobte er seine Tochter: "Aber das Wichtigste ist, dass du unverletzt bist, mein Schatz." Die 20-Jährige kam mit einer Rauchvergiftung in ein Krankenhaus und war wenige Stunden nach dem Vorfall wieder wohlauf.

Die Geissens: Glück im Unglück nach Schockmoment in Dubai

Carmen und Robert Geiss sind zum Glück nur mit dem Schrecken davongekommen: Ihre Luxusjacht lief in einem Hafen in Dubai auf Sand.

Carmen und Robert Geiss hatten Glück im Unglück:: Ihre Luxusjacht blieb am Freitag bei der Einfahrt in den Hafen Marina in Dubai im Sand stecken. Nachdem sich Robert und Carmen Geiss das Formel-1-Rennen in Abu Dhabi angesehen hatte, steuerte die "Indigo Star" am Ende ihrer Reise unkontrolliert auf den Strand zu. Zum Glück wurde dabei niemand verletzt.

Via Instagram berichtete Robert Geiss von dem Unglück: "Heute haben wir im wahrsten Sinne die A****karte gezogen", erzählt er. "Wir haben die 'Indigo Star' nach über zehn Jahren Weltreise auf den Sand gesetzt." Den Unfall führe der TV-Millionär auf einen "Fehler, den irgendjemand gemacht hat", zurück: "Angeblich ging der Gang nicht mehr raus und das Boot ist einfach immer weiter gefahren."

Robert Geiss ärgert sich über Jacht-Unfall

Das 320 Tonnen schwere Boot stehe jetzt erst einmal "mitten im Sandkasten in Dubai", klagte Geiss. Zunächst sei dem 59-Jährigen zufolge unklar gewesen, ob der Unfall durch einen Fehler des Kapitäns oder ein technischer Defekt verursacht worden sei.

Carmen Geiss erklärte schließlich gegenüber "Bild", dass der Kapitän die Kontrolle verloren habe, weil er aufgrund eines technischen Problems die Maschine nicht mehr ausschalten konnte. Verletzt worden sei niemand. Die Geissens selbst hätten sich zum Zeitpunkt des Vorfalls nicht auf der Jacht aufgehalten. Mittlerweile befinde sich das 38 Meter lange Schiff wieder auf dem Meer.

Ivan Bilaver

As a graduate from the Marine High School and Maritime University in Zadar, Croatia, Ivan started his ocean-based career in 2009 as 3rd officer on board 68m passenger ship M/V Melita. He spent the following two summer seasons as chief officer on board busy 46m charter yacht M/Y Princess Iolanthe. This was followed by an appointment as chief officer on board the privately owned 35m M/Y Stella and as chief officer and relief captain for 28m M/Y Bravo II and 50m M/Y Ventura; all with the same owner. Afterwards, Ivan was captain on board the commercial 38m M/V Shearwater, before then joining the owner of INDIGO STAR I and his family for their 2.5-year trip around the world. In his spare time, Ivan likes sport fishing, diving and powerboat driving.

Mytishchi is a mid-sized industrial city in North Moscow Oblast , which borders Moscow to the southwest. It is perhaps Moscow Oblast 's principal industrial center, particularly for machinery and armaments.

A convenient elektrichka route (in fact, the first elektrichka route in Russia) runs frequently all day between Mytishchi and Moscow's Yaroslavsky Train Station. Rapid trains (Sputniks) bound to Pushkino and Bolshevo also stop here.

You can also get here pretty easily by taking the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya metro line to the end at Medvedkovo and there catch a bus or marshrutka to the Mytishchi center from the metro station.
