Below deck sailing yacht: what paget berry has been up to since season 1.

After leaving Greece in season 1 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Paget Berry has continued in the yachting industry while experiencing a breakup.

After he left Greece in season one of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht , first mate Paget Berry has continued working in the yachting industry. During his time on the show, Paget got to work side-by-side with his former girlfriend Ciara Duggan. At times, they clashed while working on deck, but overall, they seemed to have a great working relationship. Besides working alongside his girlfriend, Paget also had Parker McCown as one of his deckhands.

During the season, Paget had a difficult time with his deck team, including Ciara. However, once Parker left and was replaced by Christopher Miller, it seems the deck team started to get along and began to create a stronger bond. However, the first mate became very close with crew members outside of his team. He and third stew Georgia Grobler had a bit of a flirtatious back and forth with each other. In fact, Georgia began to develop feelings for Paget at one point. Nonetheless, nothing came of their innocent flirts, and Paget left the boat with Ciara still by his side.

So, what has Paget been up to since he left Parsafil III? Shortly after the show was done airing, Paget proposed to Ciara while in Italy in July 2020. He shared to his  Instagram   page a series of images of the couple kissing and holding a bottle of champagne to celebrate the happy news. Shortly after their engagement, the pair separated, as Ciara got a chief stew job on a 58-meter sailing yacht in Scotland. Not too long after that, the two were reunited in France. After a nine-month-long engagement,  Us Weekly  confirmed in April 2021 that the two had split .

Ciara revealed the news on social media after a fan commented on her photo, asking if she and Paget were still together. " No, " she replied, noting, " Things happen. We’re still on good terms and wish each other nothing but the best ." The pair began dating in 2016 when Paget was working on Ciara's family's boat . They dated for almost five years before calling it quits. However, the end of their relationship doesn't seem to be slowing down Paget. He recently shared pictures on Instagram of himself in Trinidad and Tobago and Antigua and Barbuda. Plus, there are several posts about his incredibly difficult-looking workouts. In fact, Paget loves to exercise as he considers it one of the best therapy sessions he's ever had.

Paget's life has been through many ups and downs since departing Greece following season one of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . A year after the show was filmed, he became engaged to his long-time girlfriend, lived in a foreign country together, and ultimately experienced a breakup. Maybe Paget will return for season three and allow the viewers to get to know Paget as a single man.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Ciara Duggan Reveals Why She Split From Paget Berry: ‘I Need To Move On’ (Exclusive)

Sailing ahead! Ciara Duggan is speaking honestly about her split from Below Deck Sailing Yacht costar Paget Berry and revealing what went wrong.

“There were a lot of reasons that it kind of broke down. Being in France, we weren’t quarantining, we weren’t stuck together or anything like that,” Ciara, 23, told Us Weekly exclusively on Wednesday, April 14 about the breakup. “We were there just kind of living life, but you know I was taking temporary jobs and I just kind of realized throughout taking those jobs that I was happier on my own for a lot of reasons.”

Ciara confirmed that she broke up with Paget, in December and that she wasn’t fully invested in the relationship anymore. “I loved him, but I think I was not in love,” she told Us .

The couple confirmed the end of their 9-month-engagement in separate posts earlier this month after fans questioned the status of their relationship.

Ciara first shared the news via Instagram after a comment asking her if she was still together with Paget.

“No,” the reality TV star replied. “Things happen. We’re still on good terms and wish each other nothing but the best.”

Paget followed up with his own confirmation on his social media.

“All good! Loving life at the moment personally and we are still friends,” he wrote in an Instagram comment.

The pair originally started dating in 2016 and then both appeared on the first season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , which premiered in February 2020. Following their time on the show, the couple revealed that they were engaged in July 2020.

Ciara clarified that the split was “bound to not work out” since she was 18 years old when the relationship started. “I never really wanted to get married, if I’m being honest,” she said to Us .

The pair are still on “good terms” and continue to communicate occasionally. “There’s no bad feelings between us and I wish him nothing but the best. I need to move on with my life and I need to do what I need to do for me, and he needs to do the same,” she explained. “We’re still in good terms and we’re still friends. I wish him nothing but the best. I hope he finds someone who’s better suited … Neither of us is malicious, which is what matters. We have too much of a history to just not care about each other.”

Paget and Ciara did not return for season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , which is currently airing on Bravo. During their time on the show, fellow cast member Georgia Grobler revealed her feelings for Paget as the charter season was coming to a close.

Ciara clarified to Us that “there’s nothing bad” between her and Georgia and that “it wasn’t even a surprise” that there was a third party thrown into her relationship during the show.

When asked if cheating played a factor in the split Ciara declined to comment.

While Ciara and Georgia haven’t kept in contact, the Below Deck alum has received support from other castmembers since the split. “ Jess [More] was the first person I told and confided in [about the breakup] so she’s been really supportive. I mean, Jess is amazing anyways. She’s been my no. 1, my best friend throughout this whole thing,” Ciara shared about her newfound friendship with Jessica, who appeared on the fifth season of Below Deck Mediterranean .

Ciara revealed that Captain Glenn was another cast member that was there for her, saying, “I contacted Glenn pretty much as soon as we broke up, and I was like ‘Glenn, I need to talk to you. I need some fatherly advice.’ So we had a long chat about it.”

Captain Glenn weighed in on that bombshell and whether he thought there was a chance Georgia would be invited to Paget and Ciara’s wedding.

“I mean, Ciara stayed friends with Georgia, you know? So, who knows?” he told Us in March. “I was impressed by it because, I mean, I think she was really big about the whole thing.”

The captain said that he was proud of how Ciara handled the situation at the time.

“I mean, a little flirtation is OK, but maybe if you push it to the edge, then people, even though they pretend they’re not feeling it, I think maybe they’re a little upset,” he said to Us . “But, you know, that’s Paget. Paget should be more responsible than Georgia. But then Georgia as a friend shouldn’t push the edge.”

Jenna MacGillivray

When the Canadian stepped onto the Parsifal III, fans got exactly what they hoped for in a chief stew—a no-nonsense leader who also had a romantic spot in her heart for the chef in the galley. Though her relationship with Adam Glick proved to be tumultuous, the two dated for some time after the season wrapped, even taking some time to road-trip together.

These days, Jenna is enjoying some time off from yachting, but given her recent IG pics, she's excited to come back to another charter season.

Madison Stalker

Wherever Madison went, drama always seemed to follow the second stew during season one of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht . In between epic meltdowns (including a major one between her and Jenna over her lack of enthusiasm for her job), she left the boat a better person and leaving fans ready to see more from their new favorite cast member.

Judging by her Instagram account, she's taken a break from yachting (perhaps until next season of the show).

Georgia Grobler

As good of a third stew Georgia was on deck, fans were more invested in her budding music career and growing feelings for a very taken Paget. She proved she was great at her job and could make a career out of yachting.

While it's unclear whether she stayed in the yachting industry post- Sailing Yacht , Georgia's working on music, premiering new music videos on IGTV during the quarantine.

Below Deck Med fans were so excited when Adam joined the crew as the chef for Sailing Yacht . While he abided by the preference sheets this time around, he also began a rocky romance with chief stew Jenna, making most of the crew members wonder if he was there for his job or the girl.

Since the show wrapped, Adam's busy onshore, cooking, and traveling with his adorable puppy. Oh, and Adam has a web series, Stoked , where he travels across the country to meet with local chefs and learn about their regions... all while over a campfire.

If there was any couple to root for from the entire Below Deck franchise, it's Paget and Ciara. The duo made a great team on deck, and mostly kept their relationship to a minimum on cameras—a first for Bravo! As they were the most familiar with the Parsifal III, the couple was the most reliable, and fans loved seeing their relationship continue blossoming post-filming.

These days, the couple has a lot to be excited about—they're now engaged. While they're soaking up their romantic bliss, they're also still working in yachting, although it's sadly on separate boats.

Byron Hissey

As the chief engineer of Parsifal III, Byron was clearly there to just do his job. But, given how he was the only cast member to have a wife and child back home, he also became the dad of the group, taking care of the other crew members.

Since filming wrapped, it looks like Byron is back on a boat doing exactly what he does best—fixing and making sure the engines run smoothly.

Parker McCown

Relatively new to the yachting industry, fans are more likely to remember the deckhand for his enraged rant about being breastfed by his mother. While he didn't necessarily have all the skills to make it as a deckhand, he definitely had a soft spot for his ex-girlfriend Kaiti, whom he eventually left Parsifal III to go back to at home.

It looks like the decision to leave the show worked out for Parker, as he's now engaged to Kaiti and writing some tunes while onshore.

Chris Miller

As Parker's replacement for the latter half of the season, Chris proved a great deckhand and an asset to the team, all while battling an injury.

These days, Chris seems to be taking some time off from yachting to travel across Europe.

Captain Glenn Sheppard

Captain Glenn was tough, fair, and not afraid to have a good time, which both crew and guests very much appreciated.

Thankfully, his reality TV experience hasn't turned him off yachting forever. Glenn is still the captain for Parsifal III and traveling through the Mediterranean.

A spin-off of the original show ‘ Below Deck ,’ Bravo’s ‘ Below Deck Sailing Yacht ‘ is a reality TV show that gives us a glimpse into the lives of the crew members aboard a luxurious sailing yacht during charter seasons as they sail through different parts around the world. What makes the series even more gripping is that it details the interpersonal relationships of the crew members as they deal with some difficult challenges during their journey.

The show has provided fans with ample drama over the years, from budding romantic relationships to some unexpected guests. One of the popular couples that made a mark on the reality show was Ciara Duggan and Paget Berry when they appeared together in the inaugural season. Ciara and Paget’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht Journey

Ciara Duggan spent most of her childhood and adolescent days in her family’s sailing catamaran, which got her interested in yachting for a living. Having met Paget Barry while he worked on her family’s boat, she gained quite a lot of insight into the world of yachting from him. Much like Ciara, Paget – who was born and raised in England – was interested in sailing from his early teen years. Ciara and Paget began dating nearly four years before they appeared on ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ season 1 in 2020.

Although both, Ciara and Paget, had several years of experience in the yachting industry, it was their first time working together in the same department. Right off the bat, Paget had trouble figuring out how to act as Ciara’s boss and boyfriend at the same time, which made him question their four-year-long relationship. As the season passed, Paget got closer to another crew member named Georgia and even got caught in a compromising position with her by Ciara. Naturally, this raised some tensions between the couple.

Despite facing so many ups and downs during the course of the season, Ciara remained optimistic as she was excited about her career and future with Paget. After the inaugural season of the reality show was done airing, Paget proposed to Ciara, and the couple got engaged in July 2020 while they were in Italy. They shared the news on social media while several cast members expressed their excitement in the comment section. However, since late 2020, fans have noticed that Ciara and Paget have not been featuring on each other’s social media posts. This has got all of us questioning if the couple has called it quits?

Unfortunately, Ciara Duggan and Paget Berry decided to go their separate ways after several months of engagement. In April 2021, Ciara confirmed the break-up on social media in the comment section of one of her posts when a fan asked if she was still engaged to Paget. Later that month, in an interview with Us Weekly , she revealed that they called it quits in December 2020 because she was not as invested in the relationship anymore.

Ciara explained, “We were there just kind of living life, but you know I was taking temporary jobs and I just kind of realized throughout taking those jobs that I was happier on my own for a lot of reasons.” However, she added that there were no bad feelings between them as she and Paget ended things on good terms. Presently, Paget Berry is in a happy relationship with his new girlfriend, Johana Mills. A video he posted in November 2021 hints that they may have started dating sometime then. Johana is a regular presence on his social media, and the new couple looks very much in love. On the other hand, Ciara appears to have found the love of her life — her dog, Yuki. She introduced Yuki to her fans in April 2022 and hasn’t stopped posting about him ever since then. Apart from that, it seems that she has a lot more time to focus on her career and herself. Thus, even though Paget Barry and Ciara Duggan are no longer a couple, they seem to be quite content with their respective lives.

'Below Deck Down Under' Is Bravo's Best Kept Secret

'Below Deck Down Under' follows the trials and tribulations of clients and crew on charter in Australia, led by charismatic Captain Jason Chambers.

Bravo TV has a vast array of successful reality shows under its belt. Of course, Real Housewives and Vanderpump Rules have been monopolizing mainstream media, with salacious tales of scandal and titillation: #Scandoval anyone? And who doesn’t love Southern Charm and related shows Summer House and Winter House ? But what about the other series that sometimes slip under the radar and very rarely make it to mainstream news? Below Deck has been a Bravo staple for many years now. First, we had the original Below Deck, premiering in 2013, with iconic silver fox Captain Lee Rosbach , aka "The Stud of The Seas." This was then followed in 2016 by Below Deck Mediterranean , with the inimitable Captain Sandy at the helm. We’ve also experienced a little overland drama with Below Deck Adventure in 2022, and let’s not forget Below Deck Sailing Yacht in 2020. But one show that seems to have slipped under the sonar a little and which is worth sounding the horn for is another of the BD spin-offs: Below Deck Down Under .

The show premiered in March 2022 and gave viewers an insight into the beautiful Australian coastal waters and marine life. Locations traveled to include the stunning Whitsunday Islands, a complete paradise! However, something else nice to look at caught the audience’s attention too, by way of the man in charge, Captain Jason Chambers . It’s not hard to see why--the captain is tall, handsome, charming, and diplomatic, a keen diver and devoted father to his young daughter Saskia, aka Sassy. Stewards on the boat were giddy in his presence too. Yet despite having model looks, Capt. Chambers showed himself to be extremely down to earth and with a great moral compass.

Follows the crew of a multi million dollar charter boat in the Caribbean.

There are Many Dramatic Moments on 'Below Deck Down Under'

A memorably shocking moment on the show was when deckhand Luke Jones was actively pursuing stew Margot Sisson . One night off on board, after an evening of crew drinking, Margot headed to bed to rest as she was tired and wanted to sleep. Shocking footage showed Luke stripping naked and climbing into bed with a passed-out Margot, who was completely unaware of what was happening . Breaking the "fourth wall" as a matter of urgency , the crew intervened. Luke tried to shut the camera person and producers out of the room, but fortunately, he was not successful. Upon hearing about what happened the next morning, Margot was understandably distressed. Viewers came out in support of Margot (and appalled at Luke’s behavior) but also applauded Captain Jason’s handling of the situation , along with the chief stew, Aesha Scott . The incident was triggering for Aesha who had experienced sexual assault previously, and Captain Chambers and her crewmates also rallied around her.

Move Over Captain Lee, There Is a New Zaddy on 'Below Deck'

Chambers showed great empathy and leadership, firing Luke and supporting Margot through a dark and difficult time . He made it clear in no uncertain terms that a crew member’s door was their boundary and should not be crossed without explicit consent. This was also the case when, unbelievably, another crew member received unwanted advances from one of their team, on the same episode. This time it was a female overstepping the boundaries with her male counterpart, making him decidedly uncomfortable. Stewardess Laura Bileskalne was seen entering the room of cast member Adam Kodra and attempting to massage and kiss him, without his consent. Not only that, but she also came out in support of Luke and his actions, expressing sympathy for him and sadness that he had been fired.

Upon discovering what had happened, Captain Jason wasted no time in dismissing Laura from the boat also, showing a zero-tolerance policy for any kind of sexual misconduct and her insensitive behavior towards Margot. Since the episode aired, Laura has publicly apologized for her actions on her social media , whilst Luke has been less forthcoming , with a vague apology at best, though as shown on the show he did reach out to Margot via text. The same applied when it came to firing feisty chef Ryan McKeown who, despite creating top-class food for the guests, did not receive the same accolades when it came to his interpersonal skills, which created tension between him and other crew members, especially chief stew Aesha. The grace and charm of Captain Jason seemed to be lacking in Ryan when, after departing the boat and the show, he "mooned" at his former boss and the cameras.

It would be great if he could star on both Below Deck and Below Deck Adventure , but if that doesn't happen, then at least he's on one show instead of none at all.

Captain Jason Chambers has given an update on Below Deck Down Under Season 3 while asking fans for some help.

Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under was a mega-hit for the latest Below Deck spin-off.

Below Deck Med Season 9 and Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, were also announced at the same time.

However, unlike the other Below Deck shows, Below Deck Down Under Season 3 hadn’t been filmed when news of the renewal broke.

Months later, fans anxiously await news on when Captain Jason and his trusty side-kick Chief Stew Aesha Scott will be back.

It seems that Captain Jason, too, is getting antsy waiting for more news on the upcoming season of his hit-yachting show. Last December, the hunky captain admitted the next installment of Below Deck Down Under had yet to be filmed.

According to Noah Samton, a senior vice president of unscripted current production for NBCUniversal, Below Deck Down Under Season 3 was filming earlier this month.

The other day, Captain Jason took to Instagram to express his readiness for Season 3 of Below Deck Down Under to hit Bravo airwaves.

“Anyone else excited for Season 3 of BDDU?” he wrote alongside a video featuring highlights from Season 2.

The comments section of Captain Jason’s IG post was filled with fans asking about the show, prompting him to ask for help.

While the hunky captain didn’t spill any filming details or even confirm the season was in the can, he did have some information to drop.

One user wanted to know when Below Deck Down Under would start. There was a response from Above Deck Podcast that the show was currently filming, and then Captain Jason chimed in.

“Talk is this year 🤔 Lets shout out and tell @belowdeckbravo how much we want this…” was his response.

When more users asked about a premiere date, Captain Jason again encouraged them to reach out to Bravo to let the network know how much fans want the show back on air.

The captain reiterated his hope it would be soon because he thinks “we need another BDDU on our screens soon.” We have to agree with Captain Jason, too!

Other fans opened up about missing the show, as one user thought the video was a trailer for the new season.

“I know it’s way too long for us all, but let’s bring some good memories back so people ( Bravo) don’t forget we had a good season..,” the captain replied.

It was also brought up that Below Deck Med is on all the time and questioned if Below Deck Down Under isn’t good enough. Captain Jason popped up to explain he loves being an underdog, but a new season is needed immediately.

There’s no question that Captain Jason is rallying the troops to get Below Deck Down Under Season 3 on Bravo ASAP.

One of his responses, though, has us worried it won’t be until next year as he commented, “One every two years is just too long.”

Captain Jason Chambers and Below Deck Down Under fans want the show back on Bravo.

Unfortunately, the earliest it would air is late next fall. As Monsters and Critics previously reported, the Below Deck Season 11 mid-season trailer just dropped, so it’s only at the halfway point.

That means Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 won’t air until June, and Below Deck Med Season 9 will likely follow sometime in the early fall. Season 3 of Below Deck Down Under should air after those two Below Deck spin-offs wrap.

If Bravo decides to double up episodes, it could make way for Below Deck Down Under Season 3 earlier, but we haven’t heard a peep about that yet.

Below Deck Down Under is currently on hiatus on Bravo. Seasons 1-2 are streaming on Peacock.

BDDU needs to start filming ASAP. I and everyone need more of this great show.
