“Best Meal on Grand Cayman” Review of Morgans Seafood Restaurant

We had an amazing dinner at Morgan’s - our first time going there. We went after dark and the setting, service and food were all the best we experienced on Grand Cayman!

My wife and I had dinner here she had the special seafood combo and I had the seafood chowder and prime rib. The food was exceptional my only complaint was the service they wanted to rush us on everything. We had only sat down at our table for less then 2 minutes having just started to read the menu when the waiter asked us if we were ready to order, the same thing happened after we ordered appetizers and drinks. It's a great restaurant but the waiter who served us made it a less then memorable experience and I am not the kind of customer that likes to linger all night after eating.

We picked this restaurant based on reviews and pics, and were not disappointed. Great setting on the water, relaxing friendly atmosphere, spot on service, and delicious food! Highly recommend.

On the "GOOD-Meh-Suck" scale, this was a "Good - minus". The service was good. It would make sense to update the daily special board to reflect the proper specials. Also, update the menu to not that there is not lobster and it will be shrimp (and should probably cost less but who really knows.....). The food was good albeit overpriced when you factor another 25% as the conversion from Cayman Dollars KYD to USD. It was 1.25 USD to 1 KYD and it should be 1.20 USD to KYD. Not cool but the entire island does it and you do not get to even say "pay in KYD" so your credit card gives you the best rate. But hell, it's vacation. Expensive drinks but this is par for the course in the Caymans. The winning dish was the seafood crepe. It was very large and could be shared. The short rib was surprisingly good as per my son. The mussels were very good as well. The Mahi Mahi was very small portions and I have had better. Desserts were average (Key Lime Pie and Lava Cake). Would I go back? Probably. It was a nice place to watch the sunset and enjoy a nice meal while sitting outside.

We had a fantastic meal at Morgan's! The service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious! We had the seafood combo (special) and the seafood crepes. You can't beat the patio seating overlooking the marina.

Walk into the oceanfront Casanova by the Sea in Grand Cayman and you wander into an Italian piazza where the food delights your soul and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. On a palm fringed beach front, in secluded Rum Point on the North Side of Grand Cayman, Kaibo boasts two luxe restaurants, with delightful menus and pretension-free service. Calypso Grill

Blue French doors open out onto the wide deck overlooking Morgan's Harbour as a soft breeze flows in from the North Sound. Views of fishing boats lazing back up to their docks with Frigates soaring above, are your accompaniments to leisurely lunches and delightful dinners. This is the Calypso Grill experience in West Bay, and what a charming and delicious experience it is. Old favourites include the Peppered Tuna Carpaccio, Crispy Mango Shrimp,Wahoo Escoveitch and, of course, Sticky Toffee Pudding. The latter of which has gained such a following that a road has been named after it.

Tukka West brings Tukka's taste of Australia with a Caribbean twist to Cayman's West Bay community. Established in 2021, Tukka West allows patrons to enjoy delicious fusion food and expansive sea views, and introduces some inventive mainstays, including sharing plates and charcuterie boards. Tukka's team promises the freshest local seafood - and you can actually watch the catch of the day be unloaded by local fishermen at Tukka West's onsite dock!
