Bienvenue à bord

Notre Yacht-Club a été fondé en 1888 par un groupe d'hommes d'affaires de Montréal qui avaient un grand intérêt pour les sports nautiques et la compétition. En 1894, le Yacht-Club Royal Saint-Laurent se vit décerner l’appellation « Royal » par la reine Victoria. Aux cours des ans, notre Club a été étroitement lié à l’histoire de Montréal et peut se vanter d’avoir conservé de riches traditions. Découvrez notre Club et son histoire fascinante !

Le Yacht-Club Royal Saint-Laurent offre à ses membres un emplacement idéal pour les amateurs de voile et de bateaux à moteur. Des installations uniques, y compris piscine et courts de tennis, permettent aux membres de profiter du Club même s’ils ne possèdent pas d’embarcation. Continuez de lire pour voir les différentes catégories de membres et le processus d’application.

Que ce soit la compétition sérieuse ou la croisière de plaisance dans les eaux du lac Saint-Louis ou ses environs, le YCRStL offre une multitude de choix aux amateurs de navigation, tant sur voiliers que sur bateaux à moteur. École de voile, régates, excursions de plaisance ne sont que quelques exemples.

Installations et port

En complément des activités nautiques, de nombreuses infrastructures sont à la disposition des membres, entre autres, un magnifique pavillon principal construit en 1961, le Pavillon Duggan, dédié à l’escadron junior et aux équipes de courses, une piscine et trois courts de tennis. Notre port bien abrité offre des installations de qualité supérieure avec une gamme complète de services, le tout dans un lieu unique au bord-de-l ’eau, à seulement 25 minutes du centre-ville de Montréal.

Restauration

Avec des installations de calibre commercial, la cuisine du Royal peut répondre aux besoins de ses membres tout en offrant la possibilité aux organismes externes de louer ses services pour des occasions spéciales, réunions d’affaires ou mariages. Notre chef et sous-chef ont acquis une expérience internationale et nous pouvons nous vanter d’une qualité et d’un service hors pair.

Activités sociales

En plus des activités sportives, telles que la natation et le tennis, les occasions sociales sont nombreuses. Les soirées peuvent prendre la forme d’un séminaire, une activité officielle, une soirée thématique une remise de prix, un concert, une dégustation, une soirée dansante ou autre. Des groupes se forment autour d’intérêts communs et de réseautage.

PCYC membership includes the added benefit of enjoying reciprocal privileges at other yacht clubs within Canada, the United States and around the world.

At some yacht clubs, you can simply present your current PCYC membership card; at others you should phone ahead and tell them you are coming; for a few others you may need the PCYC Commodore to send a Letter of Introduction.

• If you need a Letter of Introduction, contact the Commodore 5-10 days in advance,
• Phone your destination’s yacht club to find out their policy,
• Visit their website to familiarize yourself with their club rules of conduct,
• You cannot charge services to your PCYC account, so you must settle your charges directly with the club you are visiting.

We highly recommend taking advantage of these reciprocal privileges! It is a great way for you to visit other clubs’ facilities and meet new friends during your travels!
