I got the chance to tour this Yacht center the other week after patronizing the Whale Tale next door and wow, that a gorgeous spot! In addition to the myriad of boats docked in the water, there are a ton of them parked and stored in the parking lot as well. If you are a boat buff or even a photography aficionado, you can spend hours there appreciating all of the different angles, shadows, shapes. As I walked down to the end of the dock, I received a number of hellos and friendly waves from folks boarding and deboarding their boats. For the last month I've been ignoring an itch to buy and restore an old watercraft and after this tour, it just got even more intense. I look forward to one day pulling up and paying to use their fuel station, which, according to a fellow Yelper, is pretty reasonably priced.

No stars. Avoid this place by all costs. They think they're the only game in town and greatly overcharge for services and treat customers like garbage. I stored my boat there and paid for services that were not completed. They were over a week behind in delivery with no phone call or any notification that they were late. Boat was returned to me in filthy condition with animal feces all over it as if stored outside in the elements all winter. Staff is incompetent (couldn't even find where they had docked the boat) and extremely rude.
I attended a private event here yesterday, a bridal shower, and couldn't wait to write a review. This review is strictly on the private event. First let me start with the reason for a 4 star rating. The food was absolutely amazing and out of this world, or I guess you could say ocean. They had this amazing pasta dish with shrimp, calamari, clams, and mussels. I do not know if it was prepared by The Whale Tale restaurant, on the property, but it makes me want to come and try the restaurant. The views were pretty spectacular and the people were friendly. Now, for the star deduction. The room was crowded, picture two Italian families meeting for a bridal shower. There was not enough space or chairs for everyone to sit comfortably. The bridal party made the decision to sit outside and eat because of the lack of chairs and space. This is not completely their fault, obviously, and they made the space work which I commend them for. The two girls working the event were awesome too and great to talk to.
We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for our son and his bride at the Brittania Yachting Center and were so happy that we did! Elise made sure that we had everything planned perfectly! She checked in multiple times prior to the dinner to see if we needed anything and was so helpful during the entire evening. The chef and bartender were wonderful as well. The food was delicious, and the service and views were top notch! We had entertainment at the event, and Elise made sure that our singer had a comfortable spot to set up and perform. Thank you for all you did to ensure that we had such a special evening celebrating the happy couple!
Marina / Fuel / Pump Out Tis the season again and this place has fuel and a pump out station available. The fuel is reasonably priced and the sewage pump out - well you have to do that yourself, and if you are like my buddy who doesn't follow directions, the resulting Trevi Fountain of feces (and maybe hepatitis) is worthy of "World's funniest videos" if done incorrectly. It will take a bit of time to get into this fuel dock as it is located at the head of the harbor and there are some 250,000,000 boats moored in there - so make sure your captain knows how to drive his boat.... argghhhh Over and out
Had the opportunity to stay at Britannia this past weekend. I must say the docks were loud while walking on them. It was hard not to make too much noise while walking on them late at night. Forget this place if you need to stay in contact with someone by phone. The cell service is the worst. Both for Verizon and AT&T. They should spend some money and put in repeaters. As far as their wifi it's the pits as well. You have to keep logging back in to the system and they also have a very weak system. If you need fuel allow yourself a lot of time to fuel up the pumps are supper slow. As far as the food it was good and tasty the staff was very pleasant. The pool was also nice as well as the pool area.
Came here for a first birthday party in a private room and it was quite nice. There were plenty of windows the view is quite nice. Very kid friendly and the kids at the party were able to explore inside and out. The food was just average, but not a bad place for a private event.

Eaton's Light Yacht Club
Our purpose.
EATON'S LIGHT YACHT CLUB IS A SOCIAL AND RACING CLUB SERVING FAMILIES IN THE GREATER NORTHPORT AREA SINCE 1976. CLICK ON MEMBERSHIP TO LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP AND THE BENEFITS OF JOINING ...
Club History
The Eaton's Light Yacht Club was started in 1976 by a group of 20 Eaton’s Neck residents who wanted to race and socialize. Since then, the club has expanded to over 60 members, encompassing families from the Greater Northport, NY area.
The Club hosts monthly social parties at many stunning homes throughout the season. The club dues support the purchase of food and drinks and also pay for the upkeep of the club moorings and racing buoys which are used to mark the courses for our weekly bay races. In addition, we have several weekend races on Long Island Sound. The club also hosts an annual meeting brunch at the local venues such as Crab Meadow Golf Clubhouse, and La Casa which is well attended every year.
Although geared more toward sailboats, many of our members own power vessels, and some members do not own a vessel at all but join for the social aspect of meeting new friends, and neighbors, and network. Our Club is a recognized Yacht Club that shares reciprocity privileges with the Huntington Yacht Club for restaurant use, and we are also a member of the Greater Huntington Council of Yacht and Boating Clubs.
As we approach our 50th year, we are a growing club and always looking to have new members join us for fun on the water and shoreside.

Northport is a small town in the tip of Michigan’s little finger. To our east is Northport Bay, a beautiful place for swimming and boating. Across the peninsula to the west is Lake Michigan. Northport is an idyllic town to live in or to visit. Whether you’re into wineries, shopping, hiking or lying on the beach, there’s something for everyone.
The Northport Bay Yacht Club is a low-key, friendly group of boaters. We welcome both power boaters and sailors to participate in sailing races, pancake breakfasts, movie nights, pig roasts and other activities. If you don’t have a boat and just want to socialize, you’re welcome too.
