Monte Carlo Yachts is dedicated to crafting timeless yachts full of luxurious designs, inside and out. Monte Carlo Yachts was founded in 2008. This new company was born with the best of Italy mixed with the industrial know-how of the Beneteau Group. Two years later, in 2010, the first model of the new brand, Monte Carlo Yachts, was unveiled in Venice; The Monte Carlo Yacht 76. Two years later in 2012, Monte Carlo Yachts attended their first International Boat Show, in Miami, Florida, where they of course brought their MCY 76. After enjoying their first Boat Show, they continued to go to them in the months ahead such as the one in Rio. Later that year, they announced the second build of Monte Carlo Yachts, the MCY 70. As the years go on, the more and more yachts Monte Carlo comes out with along with starting to win awards for their yachts. In the year 2015, this year marks an important chapter in Monte Carlo Yachts journey, as they received the ‘Most Innovative’ Award at the Invictus Yacht Trophies in Cannes with the new Monte Carlo Yacht 105. Then again, in 2017, the MCY 105 takes home the World Superyacht Award. Today in 2018, The Monte Carlo 96 wins the Best International Motor Yacht in the 24-30m category at the Christofle Yacht Style Awards, and the Best Flybridge Yacht at the Asia Boating Awards. To say the least, Monte Carlo Yachts was born in the 2000’s and in just the short 18 years of being in production, they have won over the eyes and hearts of yacht lovers and the industry.

Monte Carlo 76

The Monte Carlo 76 was the first yacht produced by the new brand, Monte Carlo. They unveiled this yacht in Venice. This yacht was built with different cultures between Italian and French, and no better place to reveal it than in Venice, a gateway between the East and the West, between the Mediterranean and Continental Europe. The MCY 76 has two models to choose between, one with three cabins on the lower deck, or with four cabins. The galley is located on the main deck whether it being up or down, and also has a dining area enough to seat six. The flybridge is spacious with a huge seating area for relaxing or entertaining guests. The MCY 76 develops classic elements into a new boating vision and has a refined personality with maximum functionality.

Monte Carlo 80

The Monte Carlo 80 is a sophisticated yacht with distinguished flair and of course, sleekness, and also, the third-largest build in the Italian Yards lineup. As for the interior, it is surrounded by huge windows, giving you a 360 degree view. An “entertainment foredeck”. Beautiful details and sophisticated finishes line the interior of the boat, as well as the exterior. The exterior up top is completely open with teak decking. A cozy couch and eating area are also up top for if you wanted to enjoy the sun while relaxing and/or entertaining guests. It only takes a few seconds to spot the Monte Carlo 96 out on the open seas. The design and development of the MCY 96 is absolutely breath taking with the sleek and sophisticated design.

This particular Monte Carlo Yacht has been developed for extended ocean voyages according to both the Pleasure and Charter Yacht Rules. Also, the MCY 96 is also available to be registered as a CE-A craft. The main highlights aboard this yacht is its full-beam owner’s cabin on the main deck and a fold-out superyacht terrace in the saloon. Four cabins line the below deck, but being a customizable yacht, there are also six other alternatives you can choose from to be designed. The twin 2,200hp MTU or twin 1,900hp MAN motors have a top speed of 27 knots. This yacht is the perfect getaway vessel for any occasion.

Shipyard Monte Carlo Yachts was founded in 2008, combining on its territory the craftsmanship of Italians, production facilities and the quality of the French in the manufacture of the performance of the family corporation Beneto Group. Beneteau Group became the world leader in the production of yachts in 1982 after the purchase of world-famous shipyards. The goal of creating Monte Carlo Yachts is exclusive timeless yachts that are different from other world brands and characterized by internal quality. Until 2018, the shipyard was headed by the Executive Director of Carl Demaria, after - Christoph Cadrille.

Monte Carlo Yachts shipyard builds planing yachts with raised wheelhouse and flybridge. She is a fast-growing Italian brand in the luxury commercial motor yacht segment using composite hull technology. Production is in Monfalcon , a small town near Venice. The dealer network is represented by companies in Europe, America, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. For example, Dream Yachts is an exclusive distributor in Russia, Ukraine and the countries of the former CIS, Sport Nautic is in Spain.

The first 23-meter yacht Monte Carlo Yachts 76 appeared a year and a half after the creation of a new shipyard. The show took place in Venice and attracted many customers. In total, the model range includes seven yachts from 19 to 33 m long: models 65, 70, 76, 80, 86, 96 and the flagship 105. All of them have been awarded prestigious international awards of various exhibitions for style and technical excellence. In 2019, updated models 66 and 76 were presented, and 2020 began with the demonstration of the modern Skylounge line of yachts . The new generation collection was opened by a modernized 70 model. The company plans to take part in a boat show in September in France, Italy and Monaco, and in October in Singapore.

Monte Carlo Yachts uses materials and technical solutions that were previously used only in the construction of megayachts. The key advantage is modular assembly. It improves quality, reduces creation time and allows you to respond more quickly to market requirements. The most innovative in manufacturing is a one-piece indoor module, which is built separately. The approach taken was marked by the BI-METS Boat Builder Awards - a special award for innovative contribution to the production process.

Interiors are created separately from the building, which simplifies the construction. The Venetian design studio Nuvolari Lenard is actively involved in their creation.

The MCY 66 features incredible internal spaces for a yacht in its size category. The additional bow portholes give the yacht an extended external appearance and provide higher exposure to natural light throughout the VIP cabin. The enlarged MCY’ iconic porthole enhances the intimate and relaxing feeling of the owner cabin. The guests’ cabins with their dedicated bathrooms follow the spacious volumes common to the other areas of this new model.

This year’s ceremony was held at the prestigious ONE °15 Marina Club, on the eve of Singapore Yacht show’s opening, one of Asia Pacific’s biggest and best boat shows.

Following the 2017 “Most Achieved Award” at the Cannes Boat Show and the 2018 Christofle Style Award in Phuket last January, the MCY 96 has been assigned the “Best Flybridge Yacht” (Above 80 ft) at the 2018 Asia Boating Awards that took place during the Singapore Yacht Show.

Created in 2005 and organised by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines, the Asia Boating Awards are the most renowned yachting awards in Asia and across the world.

Once again Monte Carlo Yachts has been awarded with a prestigious recognition for the design and development of its products. The new MCY 70, presented to the public a few months ago at Boot Düsseldorf, won the prize for the category "Best Flybridge Yacht" in the 80'-125 'segment at the Asia Boating Award 2019 promoted by the Boating Asia Pacific magazine.

The new MCY 70, the first of the three models scheduled for 2019, represents the natural evolution of the distinctive features and characteristics of the MCY Collection. Created to meet the owners' lifestyle, the new yachts will present more spacious interior volumes, wider views, greater brightness and extended customization possibilities: all made possible by the revolutionary naval architecture and the award-winning industrial production process.

Our leading idea was to create a boat that was authentic, overcoming certain limitations that have conditioned the yacht sector in the last twenty years,” the two designers said. “First and foremost its hull and proportions are those of a boat that can truly navigate: we are on a yacht, a real boat!

Carla Demaria, President of Monte Carlo Yachts, has been awarded with the “Personality of the Year” recognition at the 12th edition of the Asia Boating Awards. The prestigious award ceremony, which honours the best of the best in Asian and international yachting, was held on April 7, 2016, at ONE°15 Marina Club during the Singapore Yacht Show in the presence of selected guests including VIPs and key personalities from the yachting industry. This is the second award recognising Carla Demaria’s contributions to the yachting world following the Judge’s Special Award at the 2016 Motor Boat Awards earlier this year.

Monte Carlo Yachts takes home the prestigious World Superyacht Award with a strong showing of its 32-meter flagship in the Semi-Displacement or Planing motor yachts - 30m to 33.9m - category.

For twelve years, the World Superyacht Awards have recognised the best of the best from ingenuity and innovation, to design and engineering, rewarding winners with the coveted Neptune trophy, a symbol for paramount excellence in superyacht build and designing.

The 2017 World Superyacht Awards took place on Saturday, May 13 in Florence and brought together owners and industry leaders to recognise and celebrate the finest superyachts launched throughout 2016.

“The Boat International World Superyacht Awards are amongst the most important recognitions in the industry, and we’re both proud and thrilled that the MCY 105 was awarded with this top honour,” said Federico Peruccio, Marketing Manager of Monte Carlo Yachts. 

The MCY 105, Monte Carlo Yachts’ 32 meter flagship, has been awarded with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Yacht & Marine Vessels Design category. The yacht design made by Nuvolari Lenard studio won the category amongst thousands of submissions. Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard say:

The exclusive event saw the presence of numerous special guests who attended an exciting light show, all presented in the unmistakable classic Italian style. The welcome cocktail, served by the sea and the delicious dinner served as an introduction to the highlight of the evening. The third yacht of the new MCY generation was presented in grand style with a tribute to the light in front of 300 spectators among guests of honor, owners, partners and international media.

The MCY 80, presented to the public at the Cannes Yachting Festival, won the "Best Layout" category in the 80'-120' segment at the World Yacht Trophies organised by Yachts France magazine.

During the award ceremony that took place on September 10 at the Carlton Hotel's beachfront, almost 500 guests came together to celebrate the best of the luxury boating industry during an evening featuring the highly-anticipated Yacht Parade that customarily marks the end of the Festival.

The World Yacht Trophies panel comprised of industry experts and journalists that assigned the "Best Layout" trophy to the MCY 80 announced the award with the following statement

The shape of the Monte Carlo Yachts collection begins to emerge with a new 65-footer. The MCY 65, which will later become known as the “mini-mega yacht,” is unveiled in Cannes. The aesthetic research carried out by Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard endows the boat with a timeless, immediately recognisable style and gives her a very naval allure, with classic elements that are  skillfully reinterpreted in a modern key. Monte Carlo Yachts’ flagship, the MCY 105, was celebrated by the American public during its official American Premiere at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show where more than 400 people attended the exclusive cocktail prepared for the occasion.

The Innovation in a Production Process Award is part of the prestigious new Boat Builder Awards for business achievement, organised jointly by IBI magazine and METS. Monte Carlo Yachts has announced Skylounge: a new range that further builds on the brighter and larger volumes of MCYs’ second generation.

MCY 70 : sea trial for the Monte Carlo Yachts’ masterpiece

SEA TRIAL FOR THE MONTE CARLO YACHTS MCY 70

When you like a boat very much, it’s really hard to hide that.

And it’s even more so when this boat is completely different from all the others, which is a very important quality for a market where yachts often risk being very similar to each other.

Made with cutting-edge building technologies and characterized by a high-level interior design, the MCY 70 immediately won us over to such an extent that we decided to dedicate a complete sea trial to her.

The following is the report of an unforgettable day spent on board a yacht that certainly knows how to win people’s love.

Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 70 Sea Trial

Leaving the berth of the Monfalcone-based shipyard and sailing between the mooring posts leading to the open sea is a sensory experience in itself. The bow of the MCY 70 gently cuts through the still water that reflects the morning colours.

We’re sailing at around 6 knots in the absolute silence. The noise of the two Man V8 idling is slightly audible.

Accelerating slightly, the MCY 70 reaches around 10-11 knots and, in doing so, she shows an innate capacity of sailing in a constant  displacement mode. We just feel like we are on a superyacht.

At this speed, the flow meter marks 44 l/h. For a flybridge with a length of 21 meters and a weight of 40 tons, sailing at 10 knots with a fuel consumption of just 4.4 l/nm is an irrefutable sign of a definitively successful hull.

I push the electronic throttles forward and see the speed increase. Yes, I see it because, again, the MCY 70 amazes and planes at 33 11.3 knots with no substantial change of trim and in the utmost comfort. Only big superyarchts perform this way.

I push the throttles all down and our MCY 70, powered by twin Man V8 2,400HP engines, accelerates promptly and reaches a top speed of 28.7 knots at 2,370 rpm.

I don’t slow down and perform some increasingly tighter turns. The MCY 70 faces them all in the same way: she does not decelerate and does not lose a knot, even in the tightest turns.

The yacht is perfectly stable. It’s really impressive, we feel like we’re on board a 30-meter yacht.

Reluctantly, I leave my colleagues take the helm and go down below deck with Dan Lenard. While the MCY 70 sails at the cruising speed, we chat quietly without having to speak loudly. Dan shows me the parameters of this project that – it’s abundantly clear to me – was conceived to offer a very high comfort level, consistent with the luxury and the elegance of this yacht.

I go back up, walk the main deck and go outdoors. We’re sailing fast and, in such conditions, I walk the side-decks and get the bow.

The feeling of safety created by this configuration, even when sailing at 25 knots like now, is total and allows to use the whole boat at any time, without any problem.

I get the Flybridge and take the helm again. The visibility is excellent, both forward and laterally. From here, you can sail and fully enjoy the sensations that this Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 70 gives.

Seen from above, the yacht offers a simply wonderful overall view. The bow cuts through the waves while the image of the Portuguese deck merges with that of the fast-flowing sea below. The result is a dream scenario that successfully summarizes the reasons that induce to buy such a high-profiled yacht.

Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 70 Performance

Test conditions: slightly rough sea – 18-knot wind – 14 passengers on board – 2 tons of fuel, monte carlo yachts mcy 70 interiors.

As soon as we enter the main deck, the overall view leaves us speechless. What we see is a huge living room which, suspended over the sea, enjoys an almost uninterrupted horizon . This phenomenon is made possible by the headroom limit that the Nuvolari Lenard has chosen for both the bridge and all the furnishings, which translates into an unparalleled result.

Two vertical elements, wisely positioned, produce a virtuous visual effect that reveals, only by walking towards the bow, the presence of a L-shaped galley of great beauty and of the bridge on the starboard side.

This space develops without almost noticing it, as if this corner had just materialized before our eyes by magic, the magic of an enlightened designer.

I like very much the idea of having a night area completely reserved for the master in the stern. In short, it’s a large suite with a direct access to the indoor salon, the cockpit lounge and, therefore, to the beach area.

The result is a carefully designed circulation that contains, in just a few meters, 70% of the life on board while providing the owner with precious privacy.

The master cabin is huge and uses all the 5.5 meters of beam available to offer a luxury refined environment whose boundaries are virtually extended by two large windows which, in the shape of adjacent portholes, have become the distinctive motif of the Monte Carlo yachts.

At the foot of the bed, we find a large walk-in closet on the left and the en-suite bathroom on the right. The latter, featuring unthinkable dimensions, houses a beautiful shower box.

Between the two entrances, just to give an idea of the overall dimensions of the cabin, there is a 50-inch TV that can hardly be noticed in the overall view of this Master Cabin.

The second entrance staircase leads to the guest area.

Equipped with a large en-suite bathroom, the VIP cabin uses the two long forward windows to feed on natural light and illuminate the “tone-on-tone” play which makes this environment very elegant.

The two double cabins are spacious, well-finished and located on both sides of the entrance staircase. Fitted with twin beds, they have a central walkway and dedicated wardrobes.

MCY 70 Exteriors

Here, the visual effect that the Nuvolari Lenard studio gives us is very similar to that offered by the flush pools of the world’s most beautiful sky-lounges.

Suspended and apparently without barriers, this terrace reverses the paradigm and delights the eyes of the guests with a boundless view of the sea while they are immersed in the luxurious white-and-teak contrasts in a unique sensory experience.

Protected by an elegant carbon T-Top, it gives the yacht an additional and huge outdoor salon with a 360-degree view that, when necessary, can be even amplified by opening the electric sliding roof.

In addition to housing an additional helm station, this deck also offers a luxury “upper lounge” that, enhanced by the lighting technology of the MCY 70, will certainly be one of the most desirable areas of the summer.

Conclusions

He chooses Monte Carlo Yachts probably after having had other boats, looking for a definitive and flawless yacht that can excel in terms of performance and elegance.

Refined and demanding, he finds in the MCY 70 all the answers that the new Vision series manages to condense in this extraordinary boat which, build with the same standards as superyachts, undoubtedly reflects all the qualities.
