Incredible show at the Gothic in Denver last night! Go see them if you can score a ticket!!! Don't forget to wear a captain's hat and be prepared to dance!

Best $20 I've spent on a show in years!! The band was absolutely phenomenal!! The closest I could ever get to seeing Led Zeppelin and The Who! The newly renovated Variety Playhouse is now perfection, there isn't a bad seat in the whole venue and the sound quality is perfect! This was the best father daughter concert!

Yacht Rock Revue has always been one of the most anticipated retro revival rock groups with their high-energy shows and exemplary tight sets! This summer, the band will be kicking off the much-awaited outing called the Reverse Sunset Tour! This much-awaited trek will cover over 30 shows across the U.S. and bring in a number of select special guests! On Friday, 25th August 2023, Yacht Rock Revue will make a coveted stop at the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia! Fans can expect the iconic band to deliver many of their remarkable hits, like “Step,” “Give Me the Night,” “Float,” and many more! If you’re keen on taking a nostalgic trip to the ‘70s and ‘80s, hurry and score your tickets before they’re gone!

Yacht Rock Revue’s 2023 outing, Reverse Sunset Tour, will provide soft rock fans with their yacht rock fix! Kicking off in July, the band will embark on a 38-show tour spread across summer, fall, and winter! Fans who loved Kenny Loggins, Micahel Mcdonald, Stephen Day, Dan Fogelberg, and more can see the amazing high-energy set performed by the Atlanta-born seven-member group. Their music style is reminiscent of the songs beloved by music fans decades ago. Yacht rock has been categorized for their tendencies towards soft rock mixed with a variety of other genres, such as R&B, jazz, contemporary, and pop, among others.

The Reverse Sunset Tour is slated to feature a rotating list of special guests, comprising soft rock legends like Kenny Loggins, Pablo Cruise, Richard Marx, and more. On Friday, 25th August 2023, Yacht Rock Revue brings along Pablo Cruise as their featured guest. Hence, fans can absolutely look forward to a jam-packed evening with career-spanning hits!

Since emerging in 2007, Yacht Rock Revue has been the hometown music hero in Atlanta. Initially a side project, the band scored numerous weekly gigs in local clubs. The setlist primarily consists of iconic ‘70s and ‘80s rock hits – which have been coined “Yacht Rock,” named after the 2000s web series that features the same type of music. The band became one of the most prolific live performers to come out of Georgia. Yacht Rock Revue has been recorded to perform over 100 shows a year across various cities, including Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Boston, and many more.

Over the years, the band has covered fantastic hits by their idols. However, they finally dropped their debut album with all original tracks, Hot Dads in Tight Jeans. The 2020 album contains outstanding singles, such as “Doobie Bounce,” “Step,” “Bad Tequila,” “Song for Another Night,” and more. Last year, the band released a string of new singles, “Float,” “Give Me the Night,” and “Snow.” Fans are speculating that there is an upcoming studio effort in the works. Today, iconic hitmakers Train and REO Speedwagon have announced they will be joining forces for this summer’s hottest co-headlining tour. The diamond-selling bands will be hitting the road on the Summer Road Trip 2024 Tour , bringing together Train’s critically-acclaimed catalog of global hits with REO Speedwagon’s vast collection of timeless classics for an unforgettable night of music, high energy, and fun that transcends generations. With more than 50 million albums sold worldwide, 32 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100, and 28 albums on the Billboard 200 albums chart between them, fans nationwide will have a chance to witness epic sets from two of the hardest-working, fun-loving, non-stop touring bands as they perform hours of hits featuring chart-topping anthems and timeless fan favorites.

Produced by Live Nation, the 44-city tour kicks off on July 8 in Somerset, WI at Somerset Amphitheater, making stops in Chicago, Toronto, New York, Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more before wrapping up on September 11 in Phoenix, AZ at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre. To celebrate the highly anticipated Summer Road Trip 2024 Tour , Train and REO Speedwagon will take the stage at LA’s famed Whisky a Go Go nightclub on the Sunset Strip this Thursday, February 1 for an intimate sneak preview concert that is not to be missed. Tickets for the show go on sale today at 12pm PT here . Additionally, the bands will be stopping by Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Wednesday, January 31 for a very special collaboration, which marks their first-ever performance together on stage. Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on ABC at 11:35p/10:35c, and is available next day on Hulu.

Of the tour, Train frontman Pat Monahan shared: “When I was younger I heard a band called REO Speedwagon and fell in love with their numerous, infectious hit songs. Years later I met Kevin Cronin, and thank goodness he’s as great a person as he is a songwriter. This tour won’t just be a great time with great people, but a tour that will have a ton of familiar songs to most generations. I will be wishing I was in the audience as much as I’ll love being on the stage.”

REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin said: “Pat Monahan and I have done several benefit shows over the years, and now we get to take out our bands for a summer full of music and fun. Formed in 1967, signed in 1971, and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon’s unrelenting drive, as well as non-stop touring and recording jump-started the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest. A Cappella Group Straight No Chaser Announces Yacht Rock Tour

Tickets go on-sale this Friday, February 9th.

A cappella group Straight No Chaser followed the groundhog's lead and called for the return of warm weather today.  The beloved nine-member group will re-awaken your summer spirits with “The Yacht Rock Tour” this May. 

The tour marks their second yacht rock-themed run and follows their album Yacht On The Rocks released last year.

“The Yacht Rock Tour” runs May 1-May 12 through Canada and the Northeastern US. Tickets go on-sale this Friday, February 9th at sncmusic.com .  

Produced by Nicholas Niespodziani, singer, guitarist, and spiritual leader of Yacht Rock Revue , Yacht On The Rocks also includes classics like “Escape (The Piña Colada Song),” “Sailing,” and “After The Love Has Gone.”   

Initially formed at Indiana University, a cappella group Straight No Chaser emerged at the forefront of the modern day a cappella movement, and has since sold more than three million albums worldwide, garnered more than a billion streams on Pandora alone, and sold more than 1.5 million concert tickets worldwide.
