Our sunset boat tour will have you watching the sun go down, watching for dolphin and then seeing downtown Tampa at night while cruising on Hillsborough Bay. The skyline lights up with beautifully lit architecture and bridges that change colors. A customer favorite!

We have a bathroom on board and you are welcome to bring a small cooler with your own beverages. Alcohol is okay with a valid ID. No Cork Fee!

*NOTE: Please allow plenty of time to locate a parking spot or utilize the parking garage located at 141 E. Brorein Street, Tampa, FL 33602. Once inside the parking garage, use the exit doors that say Tampa Convention Center. They will bring you to Channelside and S. Franklin St. Continue walking South on S. Franklin and the boat will be in the marina behind the Tampa Convention Center on your right side. We are at the seawall directly in front of the Sail Pavilion bar at the entrance to the marina.

For a relaxing and enjoyable evening, make reservations for a one and a half hour Sunset Cruise sight-seeing through residential waterways and the pristine barrier islands south of Pass-a-Grille. Sunset cruises available by reservation. Please call for availability. 

This cruise is $25.00 for adults and is $12.50 for children 12 years of age and under (plus tax). Parking passes for the meters may be purchased when checking in for the shuttle.The Sunset Cruise is aboard the same 49 passenger Shell Key Shuttle catamaran. 

Reservations are required as departure times vary with the seasons - usually sunset cruises begin approximately one hour before the actual sunset.

Our Morgan 44 foot Sailboat, Satori, is a beautiful Florida-built classic!  Owners Nick and Kelly spent several years sailing and exploring the Caribbean Islands. 3 days. If you cancel within 3 days of departure, 100% of your booking price will be charged. If the captain must cancel due to weather, there is no charge to you.

We do this full time and this is our livelihood year round. Many other operators are seasonal, retired, or owners just trying to pay for their personal expenses of owning a boat. Our vessel is documented and registered under our business’s LLC and used solely for business operation. Many have paid Captains who do not have the same expectations of quality that us as owner/operators have. We take your satisfaction personally.

Only during extremely cold weather are boat shoes acceptable. I’ll email the day of if shoes are ok. Otherwise, we require bare feet. We don’t wear shoes in our home and we don’t wear shoes on our yacht. You won’t find a cleaner charter vessel in all of Tampa Bay. (We’re neat freaks!) Lick the bottom of your shoes in front of me and I’ll allow them aboard.

Yes. Soft-sided coolers only. Red wine or other staining beverages are NOT allowed. If your cooler is large and has wheels and handlebars, it’s too big and NOT allowed. Glass bottles are OK. Glass stemware (wine glasses) NOT OK. Drinking is encouraged, but getting sloppy drunk is not.

Yes, but please… no items that are greasy, drippy, or saucy. Remember, this is a sailboat and there is wind. Light weight items (lids, plastic, paper) will want to fly out of your hands. Finger foods rule. Leave the refrigerator at home. We recommend beverages only. For a no-fuss snack onboard, add our “Luxury Picnic Package” at checkout and let us handle it for you.

No. Our vessel is not equipped to handle the needs of a non human aboard. A monkey bit me once during a sail

The half day, 1/4 day, and sunset cruises sail in Tampa Bay, mostly near downtown St. Petersburg  and in the waters between Tampa and the Skyway Bridge. We are usually never farther than a few miles from shore at any time.

If it is raining or the winds are sustained over 25 mph, we will cancel the cruise and try to reschedule if possible. If during our cruise we have to come back early due to weather, we will prorate the charge. Please trust the Captain’s decision when it comes to weather or conditions. Safety of our guests and the vessel are top priority.

No. 6 Maximum as per Coast Guard regulations. Even if we had a 60′ vessel, still regulated to 6 passengers unless vessel is purposely built for commercial use and is issued a C.O.I. (Certificate of Inspection). Yes.. a small child or infant has a soul (most of the time) and counts as a person.

We see dolphins 90% of the time but cannot guarantee it. Barking like a dog or monkey sounds do attract dolphins. Pelican sightings are guaranteed.

Set sail aboard Hawkeye, a brand-new 47-foot luxury sailboat made locally by Island Packet Yachts. Your party (up to six passengers) will cruise along Downtown St. Petersburg’s scenic waterfront and watch the city glisten in the setting sun. This is a private, two-hour sunset sail for up to six guests departing from downtown St. Petersburg with a U.S. Coast Guard-credentialed captain. During the summer months, the sunset cruise meets at 5:45 p.m. and departs at 6 p.m. In the fall/winter, departure times will move earlier (to reflect the change in sunset for Daylight Saving Time). SUNSET CRUISES - BOAT TOUR - TAMPA BAY

Your private sunset cruise departs from Gulf Harbors in New Port Richey, FL about 1 hour before sunset. Our captain will drive the pontoon boat so you can relax and enjoy the sunset. After a short cruise down the channel we head for the open Gulf. We will cruise around off shore waiting for the sunset. We'll happily stop for you to jump overboard and swim if you wish. Chances are you might just be lucky enough to see that famous but elusive "emerald eye", a green flash as the sun dips in the ocean only seen on a clear, cloudless day.. After watching the sunset dip into the ocean, you will then have the experience of returning to the dock in the dark. Don't worry our pontoons have LOTS of lights! We also have state-of-the-art GPS, so we should not get lost in the dark. You can bring your own snacks, we don't mind. Bring your own drinks. We are located in New Port Richey, 30 minutes from Clearwater Beach and 60 minutes from St Petersburg and St. Pete Beach.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours Package 6 People Pontoon Boat - $350 inclusive of captain, tax and fuel Package price is for the whole boat. Package groups may be up to 6 people. Includes Captain, Fuel & Taxes. Payment in full is required to confirm your reservation. Rental 7-12 People Pontoon Boat - $350 plus $120 for captain, tax and fuel is extra If you have 7 or more people, you can still go out with a captain. You rent the Party Limo Pontoon Boat for the sunset rental rate ($350 plus tax and fuel) and add a captain for an additional $120. The captain's fee is to be paid in cash directly to the captain. Beautiful Sunset Cruise

While on vacation in Tampa, found Tampa Bay Sailing Tours and took the trip based on the reviews on TA. We were not disappointed. The captain was very attentive to the 3 of us and made every thing fun. We put our own Ipod music on during the cruise, had a few glasses of wine, and had a small meal. The wind was good enough so that when we were in the open waters, the engines were turned off and the sails were lifted. It was a nice way to enjoy a peaceful evening on the water.

We have taken 2 trips. Both in the morning. Planning a all day one with some friends. Can't wait to go back. So enjoyable. Went with my sister and brother in law first time. Took My 13 yr old second time. She loved it and we had a great time. If you are coming to town for the Republican Convention you should plan to do this. Come a day early or stay a day late and relax on the boat. Nothing better.

No Shooz sail boat is conveniently located a few steps away from the Convention Center/the Marriott/Embassy Suites. We went out for a sunset cruise with Kevin, the captain. He was very accomodating (we had a child with us), friendly, and the food served was delicious. We didn't see any dolphins on our cruise but enjoyed watching the pelicans and the beautiful sunset. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

What a great evening trip! I would do it again!! Just remember to dress accordingly...that may mean a pair of pants (instead of shorts) and a light jacket...you are on the water....and it may be windy... Thank Captain Kevin!

We had a wonderful time out on the water yesterday. The weather wasn't cooperating but we had so much fun. If you want to go out and relax on the bay without being on a 1,000 person tourist boat to look for dolphins...take this trip. The lunch was much better than I had imagined. I wasn't hungry but still had to eat the salad and try the panini and the potato salad was so good. The boat does have a bathroom!

2 crew members die during ‘incident’ on Holland America cruise ship

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Two crew members on a Holland America cruise ship died during an “incident” in the ship’s engineering space, the cruise line said.

The unidentified crew members died Friday while the Florida-based Nieuw Amsterdam was at Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, Holland America said in a statement.

Authorities were notified and the cause of the accident is being investigated, the cruise line said. Crew members were being offered counseling.

“All of us at Holland America Line are deeply saddened by this incident and our thoughts and prayers are with our team members’ families at this difficult time,” the statement said. “The safety, security and welfare of all guests and crew are the company’s absolute priority.”

The cruise line did not offer any further details about the crew members, nor which agency was handling the investigation. The ship set sail out of Fort Lauderdale on March 16 for a seven-night trip.
