109m Oceanco superyacht Seven Seas delivered

Dutch yard Oceanco has delivered its 109-metre superyacht Seven Seas , formerly known as project Y720.

Seven Seas is the fourth largest project delivered by the shipyard to date and was seen for the first time in March 2022 when she was rolled out of the construction shed in Zwijndrecht .

Her sharp lines and tapered decks are from the boards of Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design , marking the first exterior collaboration between the Dutch shipyard and studio. According to the yard, the owner has played an integral role in the design of the yacht.

The interior, which remains under wraps, is also by Sinot in collaboration with American designer Molly Isaksen.

"Setting Seven Seas apart is her beautifully proportioned profile and the exquisite use of natural materials and glass on board, offering guests an unparalleled outward-looking experience," the shipyard said. "Under the unique expertise and guidance of Lateral Naval Architects , the project underwent an extensive optimisation process, resulting in outstanding performance and exceptional seakeeping ability."

She is also the first LY3-compliant yacht to feature a marine evacuation system.

Seven Seas marks the second delivery of 2023 for the shipyard with its largest construction to date, 127-metre Koru , handed over to her owner earlier this year. There are three yachts that remain under construction at Oceanco, all of which are over 100 metres in length, known as Oceanco Y723, Oceanco Y722 and Oceanco Y726.

A hull section for the latest Oceanco build has arrived at the yard in Zwijndrecht today. It is Oceanco build Y720 and she will be a 109-meter long superyacht, similar in length to "Bravo Eugenia" which is coincidentally at that same yard having minor work done.

I love how these Oceanco designs end up. Looking forward to this one as well.
The hull is completed now and the superstructure is on. Seems yacht design is starting to go in a angular direction again. This yacht will be another example of such design. Sinot Yacht Design is responsible for the exterior and interior.

With Naval Architecture by Lateral Naval Architects, the 109-meter vessel has both exterior and interior design by Sinot Yacht Design as previously mentioned. A GT of 4,000 can be expected with delivery in 2022 as she has not launched in 2021 yet.

Yep...I love it.
me too! Finally something new!!! A couple of pics: https://www.alblasserdamsnieuws.nl/...t-nieuw-megajacht-luid-toeterend-naar-buiten/ Do you remember Nature, the concept of Sinot design? Some of its features are there!
It is interesting how Sinot just took conventional deck brow overhangs and inverted them and results in a very different looking vessel.

Wow! Love the design and color! Kind of something new but not a far out design. Really looking forward to this one.
More aerials of this new project.

The more I look at her, the more I like the design. There's a Japanese influence to it, with the knife sharp bow and square, upswept brows. I didn't see any wipers on the bridge windows, I wonder if they are hidden up inside the brow (like a Range Rover's rear wiper).
Although this is a clip, i'll make an exception here. Nice views in this quick flyby.
