Absolutely amazing experience and I totally recommend to sail with Hermes Yachting!!! Exceptional and well rounded service from the beginning to the end, very friendly staff while being professional at all times, and always keen to help and go the extra mile. We had booked Andros yatch (Olympic Marine) for a week in mid August, and did island hopping to Kythnos, Serifos, Milos, Sifnos and Kea. Once in a lifetime experience and no words can describe how amazing everything was! The yatch was fantastic - it was new, spacious and clean with all the necessary facilities on board! Huge appreciation and respect to our skipper, George Sakkas, who had made our sailing trip to be one of the best and unforgettable experiences in life! Extremely skilful and knowledgeable, very well mannered, calm and patient under all circumstances and weather conditions! He was always flexible and happy to accomodate our requests whenever possible! Thank you so much George and Hermes team, we will be back soon :)

Very friendly and professional service

I'm a very loyal customer if this company. We rented boats there twice: once in Ionian in 2021 and second time from Lavrion in August 2023. The company has a wide fleet of Hanse boats. I like it very much for comfort and friendly operation. Both times we received very fast and very professional services during check in and check out. Very good assistance before your trip, during the trip and after. Early check in is highly recommended. You will be able to get out from port as early as 2pm.

As requested, we were able to yearly check in at 10 a.m., the boat - a Hanse 508 - was in great condition! Hermes organized everything. Even the delivery of groceries ordered over the internet arrived on time at the pier, even though it's very busy on Saturdays. We're leaving at 3 p.m., what more could you ask for? The support from Hermes Yachting was very punctual and the annoying and time-consuming seals of the authorities were taught very quickly. Competent reception and final delivery on return

Rented yacht from Preveza

We rented a Yacht (sloop Dufour 46) from Hermes Yachting based at Cleopatra marina in Preveza during July 2022 for 6 days. Great boat in very good condition. Our skipper Andreas was exceptional. All in all we had a great experience.

One of the best charter companies in Greece, Maria and Tim they are always available to inform the best boat charter options with good and new fleet.

I chartered Bavaria Cruiser 46…

I chartered Bavaria Cruiser 46 "Oceanos" in Sept 2021. The bow thruster did not work, the mainsail (torn in half) was repaired in such amateur way, that we could hardy sail on it, 4 out of 9 door locks did not work (we had to use silver tape to keep doors closed), stern bathing platform could not be lowered (so we could not have any swimming), radio broke down (so we could not ask for the assistance entering Lavrio in the wind of 7 B). What's more, emergency phone did not answer. Sorry to say, but if you want to waste your holidays - use Hermes Yachting !

DO NOT HAVE ANY DEAL WITH HERMES…

DO NOT HAVE ANY DEAL WITH HERMES YACHTING!!! You will be left without a deposit with 100% probability. I fully confirm Boris Chumakov's review. And we are preparing an appeal to the court. In their response to the review, Hermes yachting is lying. We didn’t sign the check out report because we disagreed with the list of findings but there was no right for us to object as they simply kicked us out of the office. They don't respond to the mentioned email address. We asked them for documents for repairs and did not receive any confirmation in respect to photos of damages or repairs.

Doubtful business practices

I should have been in the crew of Michael Huerth and therefore refer to his rating of Hermes Yachting. Sad experience for us but his will not prevent us from sailing Greece again.

the frame they tried to apply to us is the following: initially the rudder was repaired properly in the shipyard. Then it was damaged again at a corner, before we took the boat. They "repaired" it underwater with superglue, which did not resist, of course, it was an improper work / repair, and they gaved the boat to us like this. I did not check underwater when we took the boat, and then, when we saw it we did not have underwater equipment to take pictures. When returning, the diver blamed us for that corner of the rudder, although he knew very well the superglue he applied did not resist. In fact, they provided the boat to us WITHOUT a square centimeter of rudder, which was replaced by his superglue. I told them that (i) I did not even touch the boat and (ii) I will not support the superglue and/or an improvised "repair". Our entire crew could discover their behaviour, which is in fact a pattern described in their reviews: they prefere damaged boats to make heavy tips/bribes than a boat returned in perfect condition. Their focus is to squeeze the customers and repair the boats on the insurance money, instead of preserving the boats and not receive tips and bribes.

NEVER RENT A BOAT WITH HERMES YACHTING

I'm really sorry but my opinion is that you have to avoid these people. The boat was really in a bad maintaince status. A lot of things where not working properly. We left the port for our 2 weeks holiday without anchor light, steam light and all the indicator (fuel and water) were not working. The day of the check-in we had to wait from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m to take the boat (don't worry they ask you anyway to come back a day before because the out will be on time at 9.p.m). The boat was dirty and the end they charged us a lot of money on the deposit for damages that we didn't. I was not so clever to check everything properly and did not report promptly all the issue, trusting in their professionality. I did a big mistake!!!
