Comes with measuring certificate. This one is on minimum weight (no correctors). The Boat is up for sale after a great and competitive season f18 racing. The boat is race tuned and ready to race with proven speed and some impressive results this season including 1st at Capricorn Nationals and Vic F18 states as well as 5th at F18 Nationals. The boat is for sale complete with a full set of race sails and a full set of training sails. There is also a third jib, beach wheels, tiller spare crossbar, various spare ropes etc. The boat has been fitted with the latest PSA long and narrow boards, which improve the boats feel and all round speed and height upwind. It also includes a full boat cover only brought just before Christmas. The boat has a full Harken fit out, high quality ropes all tapered and spliced. We're upgrading our C2 so here's a great opportunity to join the growing WA based F18 fleet with a very competitive and well maintained boat. 

2011 model Goodall Design C2 that has been fully maintained and updated each year to finish regularly within top 10 at F18 National Titles. Weigh's in at only a couple of kg's over minimum weight and has not gained weight over it's life. 

- Goodall Main and Jib 

- Ullman Main and Jib (1 regatta old) 

- 2 x Goodall Kites

- 1 x Ullman Kite (1 regatta old) 

- Adjustable trapeze x 4 

- New spinnaker sheet, new spinnaker halyard, new cunningham sheet, new jib halyard.

- Updated Dyneema to all loaded points

Hulls are in excellent condition. Polished regularly throughout the season. Boat warehoused over winter and under full cover during the season. 

Happy to take prospective owners for test sails and also share rigging and tuning tips to get the boat up to speed quickly.

Description

The Nacra F18 Evolution is a racing catamaran built with advanced technology, sophisticated design tools and 45 years of experience. The primary ambition of the new Formula 18 design was to build upon the Nacra F18 Infusion’s unique pedigree as the best all-around performing F18, over the full range of sailing conditions for every sailor.

Most notable on this F18 Evolution: the hull shape design. It has an aggressively styled raked wave-piercing bow with a horizontal hull chine running back into the transom. This design delivers a unique compromise for both sailing upwind and downwind at different speeds. The optimized foredeck in front of the main beam and embedded beams into the hull add extra sleekness to this design. The updated longitudinal beam position optimizes the hydrodynamic and aerodynamic balance between the sail plan and appendages.
