Nous proposons des excursions à la journée en catamaran pour visiter tout en douceur l'île de Marie-Galante et le Grand Cul-de-sac Marin. Une occasion unique de dé couvrir la Guadeloupe par la mer, en naviguant tout en douceur dans ses eaux turquoises.

Véritable joyaux de la Guadeloupe avec ses eaux turquoises, sa mangrove et son ecosystème marin, le Grand Cul-de-sac est un incontournable en Guadeloupe.

Programme de la journée : navigation à la voile, visite de l'ilet Macou et de sa chapelle, paddle et palmes-masque-tuba dans la mangrove (barracudas, hippocampes, nurseries de poissons, ...) et sur la barrière de corail (si les conditions le permettent !), apéritif et déjeuner inclus, bain de mer dans des anses aux eaux chaudes et turquoises.

Pourquoi venir apprendre la voile en Guadeloupe ?

Une seule envie commune, apprendre à naviguer et découvrir les Antilles .

Vous serez tout de suite dans le bain, vous prendrez les commandes du bateau dès que possible. Pour les débutants, vous apprendrez toutes les manœuvres de bases, le matelotage…etc.. pour les confirmés, vous perfectionnerez vos chronologies, les réglages, la carto, l’électronique sur tablette, les procédures de sécurité…et ceux qui ont déjà une bonne expérience et qui hésitent encore à passer le cap pour être chef de bord, je vous apprendrai en plus, la coordination d’équipage, la planification, les règles de vie en croisière et tout mes secrets de marin pour assurer la sécurité, anticiper ETC…. Ce stage réalisé en période cyclonique ( juin à novembre ) sera l’occasion d’approfondir vos connaissances météorologiques. Un suivi météo précis sera indispensable.

Après ce stage de voile en Guadeloupe vous repartirez avec un livret de stage , récapitulant les apprentissages.

• La plage de la Caravelle , située à Sainte-Anne. Elle est la plus paradisiaque de toutes : eau turquoise, sable fin, palmiers par dizaine et spots pour plongée sous-marine. De quoi satisfaire tous les vacanciers qui s’y rendent.
• En deuxième position, l’Anse Laborde , situé dans le nord de la Basse-Terre. Si vous cherchez calme et intimisme, alors vous êtes sur la bonne plage. Considérée comme une des plus belles plages de Guadeloupe, elle est un immanquable de votre séjour en Guadeloupe.

Quelle est la meilleure période pour louer un catamaran en Guadeloupe ?

La Guadeloupe se situe dans les Caraïbes et bénéficie donc d’un climat tropical. Deux saisons se distinguent : la saison sèche et la saison humide. Les températures sont élevées pendant les deux saisons et vous bénéficierez d’un climat agréable toute l’année. La saison humide se déroule de juillet à novembre. Pendant cette période, des averses tropicales tombent sur les îles assez fréquemment. La période sèche, de décembre à fin juin, bénéficie d’un climat idéal pour des vacances au soleil.

Very nice Cruise in all Inclusive of 15 days. I was the only one who liked the boat, my wife and daughter weren't completely on board... They loved it. Skipper and cook very attentive. We discovered sublime places. Continental and Creole food, fish and lobster on the BBQ. I will come back in 2 years, to leave from the Blue Lagoon base in St Vincent, which is 1h30 away from the Grenadines. Very nice memories and an amazing preparation before our cruise. When you book one of our catamaran cruises, we make sure your experience is as enjoyable as possible. To achieve this, we've included various equipment and amenities in your package so you can fully enjoy your trip in the Caribbean.

The standard boat inventory includes everything you need for a comfortable cruise, from kitchen utensils to safety equipment. You don't have to worry about bringing these basic items as we provide them for you.

For your comfort, we also provide bed linens and shower towels, so you don't need to pack your cabin with linens.

If you're eager to explore the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean, we've also included fins, a mask, and snorkels. You can dive and discover the fascinating marine life of the region.

For your transportation between the boat and nearby beaches or islands, our dinghy equipped with its own motor is at your disposal. It will make it easy for you to access the shore and explore the wonders the Caribbean has to offer.

Not included: Cancellation insurance, landing and mooring taxes on the islands, consumables (diesel, gasoline, water).

We want to ensure that your trip goes smoothly, which is why we would like to inform you about what is not included in your package.

Cancellation insurance is not included, but we strongly encourage you to take out travel insurance that meets your needs and provides peace of mind in case of unexpected events.

Additionally, please note that landing and mooring taxes on the islands are not included in the cruise price. These fees are typically collected by local authorities and may vary depending on the islands you visit.

Regarding consumables such as diesel, gasoline, and water, these costs are not included in the cruise rate and will be at your expense.

Payment methods: We accept payments by bank transfer as well as by credit card. We recommend cardholders to prefer this payment method as it may include additional insurance for your trip. This will allow you to benefit from the protection offered by your credit card in case of cancellation or unforeseen issues during your cruise.

Early check-in: If your flight allows you to arrive at the marina no later than 2:00 PM (allow 20 minutes in Guadeloupe), you can opt for the "early boarding at 2:00 PM." This will allow you to leave the marina before sunset and spend your first night at anchor in Gosier (in Guadeloupe). Our insurance does not cover departures from the marina or anchorages after sunset. Therefore, the handover must start between 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM at the latest with the team: €300.

The best time to go sailing in the Caribbean depends on your preferences for weather conditions and crowds. Generally, there are two main seasons for sailing in the Caribbean: the dry season and the wet season.

Dry Season (High Season): The dry season extends from December to April. It is the most popular time for sailing in the Caribbean due to stable weather conditions, pleasant temperatures, and generally sunny skies. However, because of its popularity, prices can be higher, and destinations may be more crowded.

Wet Season (Low Season): The Wet season runs from June to November, with the peak of hurricane activity typically in August and September. This period carries a risk of storms and tropical cyclones, so it is essential to closely monitor weather forecasts. However, the low season offers advantages such as reduced rates, fewer crowds, and lush landscapes.

The choice of the best time to go sailing in the Caribbean will depend on your personal preferences for weather, budget, and tourist crowds.    

Damage waiver insurance, also known as deposit insurance, is an option offered by SAILOÉ.

This insurance is designed to reduce the financial liability of the tenant in case of damages or unforeseen expenses related to the rental property.

Insurance Subscription: When you rent a SAILOÉ boat with a skipper, bail bond insurance is mandatory, and it costs 6% of the boat rental amount.

SAILOÉ will reduce the amount of the security deposit you need to pay at the time of the rental. For example, if the initial security deposit is 8000 euros, by subscribing to the insurance, you could reduce this deposit to 1500 euros.

First discovered by the Western world in 1493,  Guadeloupe hosts a variety of French tradition while blending with its  ancestral roots. Geography and Wildlife

Guadeloupe is the southernmost island of the Leeward chain, and  can be identified on the map by its unique butterfly shape. Guadeloupe  is the common name for two distinct islands, the Basse-Terre Island and  Grande-Terre. These islands are separated by a small sea channel known  as the La Riviere Salee, or “Salt River.” On the island, you may  encounter a variety of ecosystems, from secluded sandy beaches to  tropical rainforests and towering volcanic cliffs.

One active volcano presides over Guadeloupe, the "La Soufrière." It  is located in southern Basse-Terre, and has powerful eruptions that  wiped out Guadeloupe’s landscapes in the past. However, its last  eruption was in 1976, and it poses little threat to the locals and  travelling sailors today. La Soufrière is one structure in a volcanic  complex called the Carmichael volcanoes.

Though much of the land is covered in lush tropical forests,  Guadeloupe has been settled extensively on the coastline. Grand Terre is  a shopping hub with beautiful beach resorts, while Basse Terre is home  to many small farms and plantations, supplying bananas, eggplant,  pineapple and sugarcane products to its population. This once  uninhabited island is now a major contributor to tourism and trade in  the Caribbean, and an ideal place for beginner sailors to go on their  first yacht charter experience.

Guadeloupe is also the home territory for exotic sea life and island  animals. Unfortunately, this area has been over-hunted, and many  wildlife populations are struggling to recover. Some of the protected  species include the Lesser Antillean iguana and the agouti (a large  native rodent). However, sea life thrives in the Caribbean, and while  you snorkel or sail you may catch a glimpse of several different  dolphin, whale, sea turtle, manatee and fish species. Birds are also  highly populated on the island. Birdwatchers are in for a treat on  Guadeloupe hikes and nature trails, as rare species such as the  Antillean Nighthawk, Guadeloupe Black Woodpecker, and Lesser Antillean  Macaw can be found.

If you are interested in seeing some of these landscapes and wildlife  populations up close, take a natural tour of the island with one of the  national parks, reserves, or wildlife tour companies. Many places offer  canoe and kayak tours, animal encounters, and miles of nature trails  which you can trek individually or with a tour guide. Guadeloupe is the  perfect place for nature-lovers to explore and discover what is so  special about the Caribbean island and its habitats.

The first known people to inhabit Guadeloupe were the Arawaks,  an island tribe that scattered throughout the Caribbean islands. They  called the island Karukera, or "The Island of Beautiful Waters." As the  Arawak civilization started to decline, the Caribs moved to the island  to stake their claim in the bounty and fertile grounds that were  plentiful on Guadeloupe.

On his second exhibition, Christopher Columbus found Guadeloupe and  named it after the Virgin Mary, “Santa María de Guadalupe.” However, as  more nations started to colonize North America and the Caribbean  islands, the Spanish lost control of Guadeloupe to the French. The  French settled on Guadeloupe until 1759 when the British seized the  island. In 1763, the French and British signed the Treaty of Paris,  which gave France control of Guadeloupe once more, as it ended the Seven  Years War. However, the British and French, and even the Swedes fought  over the island until The Treaty of Vienna was signed in 1815, giving  France final control of Guadeloupe.

During colonization, much emphasis was placed on the sugar trade.  Hundreds of plantations arose, and Guadeloupe became a primary exporter  of sugar and rum. Guadeloupe exported more sugar than all the British  islands combined. In total, the sugar trade in Guadeloupe during the  1700s was worth about £6 million ($8.01 million) per year. While sugar  is still produced on the island, Guadeloupe’s primary export item is  bananas and other local fruits.

Guadeloupe has a very unique culture. It’s blend of French  influence and Caribbean authenticity makes their signature Creole style  one of a kind. The official language of Guadeloupe is French, however  most of the population speaks a specific dialect of Antillean Creole. Guadeloupe, like most Caribbean islands, is known for its rum. If you  want to see historical distilleries and sample some of the Caribbean’s  finest spirits, take the ferry to visit Marie-Galante. Most tours start  at the “Hundred Mills Island,” where you will get an overview of the  history of colonization, the history of rum production, and a tour of  the distilleries as they functioned in the late 15th century. The  distilleries of Marie-Galante are famous because they contain 59%  alcohol by volume, whereas other Caribbean rums only contain 40-50% at  most.
