The Wharf @ Republic of Singapore Yacht Club
- 22 October 2014 29 August 2021
The Republic of Singapore Yacht Club (RSYC) is the oldest yacht club in Asia. We were thrilled when a friend invited us to have dinner at a waterside restaurant of the club. The Wharf is open only to members of the RSYC and their guests. The casual restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and serves seafood and other local and western food.
We were seated at the edge of the water with a great view of the marina. The venue and setting were beautiful and the evening started in the best possible way – with glasses of good champagne.
The Wharf has an ala carte menu but there is also a BBQ station where you can pick the food and ask the chefs to cook it for you. It also has a salad buffet bar.
We picked a few of the BBQ staples – otak, chicken wings, squids and satay. They were all nicely done and tasty. We also ordered a Penang Fried Kway Teow and Seafood Hor Fun from the menu. Both were disappointing. The Kway Teow was a liitle bland and the Hor Fun was missing the smoky wok hei flavour. Things picked up when the BBQ stingray and meaty cod fish were served. They might not look too great but were definitely very delicious.
The weather that evening was kind, the view was beautiful, the food and drinks were enjoyable and the company was great. The dinner at The Wharf of the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club was a wonderful waterside dining experience.

We got upgraded to a one BHK apartment. We were traveling with a toddler so it was a nice gesture from their side.
I like the size of the King size bedroom. It was surprisingly spacious! And the toilet has a bathtub and shower.
i like the rooms and facilities, i enjoy staying in room. peaceful and relaxing. i highly recommend to my friends. i will book again next time.
Everybody was gentle and kind, facilities were spot clean and easy to like. Place had 2 restaurants, gym, tennis field, pool etc…
I enjoyed the room, the hotel and its facilities, the pool is fantastic (shady in the morning), the park nearby was great for my child. We would walk 10 minutes through the park to have dinner in restaurants nearby.
Weight room/aerobics room small but had everything I needed.
Pool was fabulous. Kept immaculately clean. Restaurant was great serving lovely food. Muhammad our room servicer was very helpful and attentive.
It is my pleasure to recommend Republic of Singapore Yacht Club for so many reasons. I stayed here while visiting Singapore for the Taylor Swift concert and I am so glad that I did. It was safe, clean, beautifully comfortable and included many unexpected extras that make it fully deserving of a higher star rating. The staff were friendly, helpful, courteous and kind - and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, including a very helpful and friendly room service female staff member who I thank especially. The restaurant offers wonderful, truly delicious breakfasts that we enjoyed while being excellent value too. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club - when we return to Singapore we will stay with you again no question!
Incredible exceptional stay - a huge thank you to this amazing hotel.
The facilities as expected as part of yachting club is very good quality. Nice pool. Good bar (s) and nice view of the yachts

How guest reviews work.
Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).
