Sailboat Trips made it possible for us to get a really unique holiday experience. Profesional, kind, quick, cordial. Very, very good service San Blas is an amazing place, and we had the most amazing hosts. We spent two days on the lagoon 41 with Mari and Chris; our first holiday on a boat. We therefore did not quite know what to expect. But no matter how high our expectations would have been, they were exceeded by far! San Blas is a true paradise, fantastic islands, crystal clear water, unspoiled nature and the always smiling Kuna people. But what made our stay really magical was the amazing company of Chris and Marie. They are fantastic hosts, making us feel truly welcome and at home from the very minute we arrived. They are so kind, open and easy to be around, while being the perfect hosts, constantly looking for ways to make our stay unforgettable; ranging from the great food you made to us, the trips to the tiny islands, the night on the beach, our cozy conversations and everything else. Truly unique and memorable. To everybody who get the chance to go, we can only say: Do it! :-)

We spend 4 beautiful days on the lagoon 42 catamaran is in very good conditions clean and comfortable. Capitan Peter and chef Lidia are emezing people. Wery nice,friendly and kind. Peter know everythink about San Blas and we think he know all Kuna on the islands. Lidia is best cook i know,like from 5 stars hotels . I m sure we will be back. “ Probably the most beautiful experience ever! ”

We definitely recommend everyone a trip to the Guna Yala islands. It's just paradise. Never saw any islands that compared! Staying on a Catamaran with Exequiel and Stella was awesome! They really made us enjoy every second of our trip! There was plenty of yummy food. Mostly fresh catches from the reefs surrounded by creative inventions from Stella. Our daughter who is usually quite picky loved it too. :) Exequiel always knew what he was doing and took us safely to the most beautiful islands of the area. When we wanted to visit an island he always made it possible. Always providing us with a cooler with cold beers, fruits and whine at the beach. Snorkeling gear was always available, so we could see the whole beauty of the reefs too. There is so much wildlife to see there. Amazing! They also introduced us to local Guna's which was really nice. I could go on for hours pointing out all the good experiences we had. I guess it's best you go and see for yourself. For us the decision is made: we will be back soon! And definitely again with Exequiel, Stelly, Elaine and Peter - keep up the good vibe! :)

“One of my favorite trips so far”

I had a wonderful experience with SailboatTrips. I sent an inquiry from the website and from there was contacted by email and WhatsApp by Camila. We discussed the different options (shared or private boat) and prices for each. She sent me pictures, info, and pricing for boats that were available for my dates. I chose captain Arnaud’s boat for 2 nights and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in San Blas. The food, conversation, relaxing on the boat and beaches was wonderful. Arnaud was a great host. He always made I sure I had enough to eat, drink, and that I was comfortable and having a good time. He made me feel so welcome on his boat that I didn’t want to leave! I would definitely love to go back!

“ Top boat and skipper in Paradise! ”

I've booked 5 days in San Blas (Panama) through Sail Boat Trips: they have been extremeli fast and efficinet giving me all needed info. We choose the Catamaran Bay Dreamer 2.0, a 45 feet fully equipped boat with anything You could veer desire in a boat (including fresh water producer, air co, SUP, etc. etc). Daniel and Anna are the hosts and skippers and they are super friendly, very experienced and are doing their best to make our cruiseing unfogettable (and they really got it!). Fresh food every day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with fresh bread, pancakes, fruit, BBQ lobsters, crabs and fish! They have 2 kids: super nice and lively and they plaued a lot with our 3 yo daugher. Fully recommended!!!!!!!

Where natural beauty meets tradition and history

A small country in the North America/South America connection, Panama is an enchanting country which hosts a combination of colonial architecture with modern skyscrapers. Featuring the world famous 48 mile canal and more species of birds than the entire expanse of North America, Panama is an incredible location for any yacht charter guest.

Any trip to Panama should start at the magnificent Panama City. As capital to the prestigious country, the city is built high in the sky and is everything you could possibly want it to be. Essential for business and commercial industries, Panama City has the very best in every market. If shopping is your preferred pursuit, you’ll want to make sure you leave some time to stop over at  Albrook.

The Albrook district of the city has the largest shopping mall in the region and even has a small airport so you can visit other areas of Panama. Hosting a number of world famous brands as well as various eateries and even a cinema, you can easily spend an entire day in the central precinct.

An ideal end to a day of shopping is a night out on the town in one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Panama, Bella Vista. This is where the nightlife is truly at its best. The Calle Uruguay zone has a multitude of exciting clubs and bars, as well as some unmissable restaurants which overlook the canal. If local cuisine isn't your preferred taste, there are also many global names to choose from for your dining options.

Moving away from the main hub of activity in Panama City, an interesting stop is the Biomuseo. The only one of its kind in the area, this museum stands out from the crowd with its vibrant, multicoloured canopy. Focused on the history and ecological aspects of the country, the museum teaches visitors about how the isthmus emerged from the sea and the subsequent changes it made to the global layout thereafter.

Getting a true taste of Panama is easy enough by exploring the exciting and varied terrains, but if you really want to taste it you’ll need to sample what is considered by some as the best coffee in the world. Grown far up in the Chiriqui highlands, the Geisha blend is highly sought after by International buyers and coffee enthusiasts alike.

Staying with the natural environment of Panama, any visit to the country would not be complete without at least one visit to the nature trails. With some located unbelievably close to the main city, it is easy to find an area of natural beauty. The protected Metropolitan National Park has some staggering nature trails that guide through varying heights and terrains to see some of Mother Nature's best work.

Another beauty spot worth visiting is the Summit Municipal Park. Just as green and beautiful as the Metropolitan park, this spot is mostly dedicated to botanical gardens which offer you a magical and vibrant walk. In addition to the flora and fauna there are also many chances to see some exotic birds including great green macaw, brown backed dove, stripe cheeked woodpecker and crested eagles.

For more incredible wildlife, your nrcy port of call will be to head to the coast for a spot of whale watching. From June until November you may be lucky enough to see some humpback whales leaping from the sea. Returning every year, the whales come to Panama for their mating season and they don't come alone. While scouring the waters you could also see some bottlenose and spotted dolphins.

Returning to the hub of activity the Old Town District awaits your arrival to see one of UNESCO's World Heritage sites. After an inferno in 1671, the majority of the original Panama City was destroyed. Started purposefully to prevent a large scale attack and robbery, this event remains a fascinating chapter in the history of Panama. The remnants of the ancient city still remain to be a crowd pleaser and offer clear insight into the ancient construction work of city building. While at the site you can still see the remains of the cathedral tower and view a scale model of what the original settlement looked like before the blaze.

If the Panama canal has made an impression on you, there's one more stop you can make before venturing elsewhere. The Observation Center gives you an unprecedented view of the canal extension and the latest locks in place. Panama Yacht Charters

On a Panama yacht charter vacation, you can enjoy picturesque beaches, strong tribal cultures , and natural adventure.

Situated between North and South America, Panama has been appropriately named the Crossroads of the Americas. The country is known for its nature-rich and accessible rainforests, spectacular mountains, and highlands.

Panama is the southernmost of the Central American nations and is located south of Costa Rica and north of Colombia. The Panama Canal bisects the isthmus at its narrowest and lowest point, allowing passage from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. A chain of mountains in the west, moderate hills in the interior, and a low mountain range on the east coast marks Panama. There are also extensive forests along its fertile Caribbean coast.

Nature and History

Panama’s location is at the southernmost range for many North American species. Fortunately, nearly 30% of Panama’s land is protected in national parks, forest reserves, and wildlife sanctuaries. This provides excellent opportunities to see the country’s wealth of flora and fauna.  

But it’s not only nature that pulls you in. The country has a fascinating history as a Spanish colony, as well as being a transit route for the conquistadors’ riches from Peru. Since pirates often plundered it, so many intriguing historical sites exist.

After arriving in Panama, fly to Porvenier quickly on a small aircraft. Your crew will welcome you and take you back to your charter yacht on the tender. The highlight of our Panama trip!

This was the highlight of our week in Panama! What an incredible experience. We had bad weather on the day we scheduled but Miguel suggested we could reschedule to a different day and it worked out much better. We caught 3 fish and made ceviche with one of them and then cooked the other one on an island we stopped at. So delicious. I loved that we could personalize the experience—we wanted to spend most of the day fishing so Miguel took us to a few spots, but if we wanted to go snorkeling or stop at other islands he was game for that as well. Highly recommend!!

We went out with friends for a day trip and all my husband wanted was to catch a fish- he had been so excited when we told him we had chartered a boat for the day!

Miguel (our captain)and his assistant were fantastic- friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and so pleasant to be around.

We had some rain but even that couldn’t ruin the fantastic day we had! While we were cruising we happened to come upon a school of dolphins feeding off a school of sardines. Can I say WOW?!!! It was incredible!!! Not just one or two but a whole school of dolphin swimming and jumping around our boat!!!

My hubby caught a jackfish (hope that is the correct term) and was super thrilled. The jackfish was filleted right on the boat and served with soy wasabi and tiger milk- so yummy and fresh!!! Don’t miss this experience!!! It’s a once-in-a-lifetime adventure…

Fabio knows pretty much everyone along the Panamanian Caribbean coast after having sailed there for years, which proved very useful when my mother-in-law wanted cold, fresh coconuts – or when we wanted to have fresh langoustines for dinner.
