Food: You can bring your own food and drinks but be aware that cooking and red wine onboard are not allowed. Next to our office there are a couple of bars and restaurants where you can have a coffee or buy last-minute food and drinks. If you prefer, we can take you to have lunch at one of the islands or we can assist you with the catering, providing a menu from an external supplier so that you just have to get on board and have fun.

3h: Caves and Coastline

Caves & Coastline trip , with duration of 3 hours, where you can enjoy our amazing coast and famous caves. We will depart from the Albufeira Marina and cruise until Carvoeiro/Benagil area, while giving you information about special locations and beaches.

6h: Beach BBQ Cruise

Beach BBQ trip , with duration of 6:15 hours, where, besides the part where we visit the caves and rock formations, you will also enjoy a beach BBQ lunch in a secluded beach choose by our captain. We will cook for you a traditional Algarvian BBQ, just sit, eat, drink and enjoy a magnific swim on the ocean!

The Custom built Mara Catamaran

MARA has a length of 16 meters (53ft) and a width of 8,5 meters (28ft) which makes it a very spacious and comfortable boat even during high season when everyone wants to enjoy the sunny days at sea. MARA also has a bar aboard always available, Wi-fi internet, a toilet, a sun deck and a shade area with about 40 sits so you can enjoy the most relaxing day with friends and family. Kids of all ages are welcome aboard MARA, where our team will guarantee that you have the most fun day with safety as our priority.

The Catamaran MARA obeys all the mandatory safety norms and rules to guarantee the safeness of our guests and crew in case of emergency.

I even accidentally left my phone on the wall behind their van.....it was still there 2 hours later 🥰 The walk down and up to the beach from the van is a little steep but not far. The kayaks were with us immediately and there was no queing on the beach (unlike those who booked down there.). It was insanely busy but if you can navigate around other boats there are some fabulous coves and beaches to see. We hired 3 kayaks, ages ranged from 13-50, all managed fine. It’s pure bedlam with 100+ people in the caves with kayaks piled up and strewn all over and then boats pull in and reverse out several at a time. Don’t be fooled by the picture! My advice would be if you absolutely want to see the cave in high season, there’s a beach around the corner where you can rent kayak/SUP and go as early as possible. Since you arrive until you start the activity is madness and you may don't know where things are at. I had to wait for the van to take me to the beach and give me the equipment. The van appeared, but then I had to way more 15 minutes because the van was full. There was a lot of traffic, so it turns everything harder. When you arrive to the beach there are a lot of people there and you may find yourself lost, but stick to the people that are guiding you and wait a little. From the time you enter the water it's on you, explore and have fun! I liked it a lot because I was in contact with nature, even with all the people that was there. Booking option: Boat trip from Albufeira to Benagil with BBQ on the beach

The approximately 6.5-hour boat tour starts at the Albufeira Marina and takes you westwards along the Algarve coast to the caves and grottoes of Benagil. After visiting this beautiful coastal landscape, the catamaran anchors on a secluded beach and you disembark with the crew. Enjoy the time at the seaside with snorkeling and swimming or stand up paddling (included) and look forward to a typical Portuguese barbecue with meat, fish, salad and seafood in front of a wonderful backdrop (vegetarian option available on request). After a relaxing day at the beach, you return to Albufeira on a catamaran in the afternoon.

A lot about the Algarve is simply fantastic: beaches, coast, weather. Experience the abundance of this holiday region on an unforgettable boat trip with all amenities and many highlights. With more than 300 days of sunshine, the south of the Portuguese mainland is the absolute leader in Europe. And it is not the only reason why the Algarve is the perfect destination for a holiday by the sea. At the so-called Rock Algarve you will probably make big eyes. The landscape with the sometimes golden shimmering rocks, which almost protect themselves from bays and lagoons, is grandiose. In addition, the rock from which nature has formed sculptures over centuries, and the shimmering Atlantic Ocean in many shades of blue. Especially from the water this spectacular scenery develops a panorama worth seeing.

Enjoy an approximately 6.5-hour day trip with a boat trip, a shore leave to the small beach paradise and the amenities of the full-service package with food and drinks on board. The Algarve boat tour on the modern catamaran starts in Albufeira and takes you westwards along the wonderful coast with its caves and grottos to the natural wonder of Benagil. Under a wide arch of stone there is a light-flooded cave that can only be reached from the water and is respectfully called a cathedral by many. It also feels so dignified inside. If you can take a very short look from the scenery during the grotto stage of this Algarve boat trip, strengthen yourself on board with a small breakfast prepared by the crew and stay excited for the relaxing hours on a secluded beach surrounded by high rocks. There the catamaran will anchor and you will leave the boat together with the crew to spend the afternoon of your Algarve holiday far away from the popular tourist destinations of this region.

Included in this Algarve boat tour is equipment for various water sports activities such as snorkeling or stand up paddling on the Atlantic Ocean. The team also has the necessary utensils for ball games on the beach. Or you can simply relax during your stay in the sun and watch how lunch is prepared on the beach. For the beach barbecue, fish and meat as well as seafood will be on the grill. Algarve salads and fresh fruit are served. This is a definite if you go to Alvor, the Adventure cruise is brilliant, all the family loved it. We sailed along the coast, had an hour kayaking, got to go into the caves, we also went swimming off the catamaran. It was so relaxing and great value for money. I think the staff make it though, they are really welcoming and friendly, lovely people.

We chose the catamaran tour to the caves because of the children, 6 years and 10 months. Life Jacket is of course the skipper attentive, prudent and experience.
