Geht es um das Thema Yachttransporte, ist Saskia Neumann-Glogau, Geschäftsführerin des gleichnamigen Yachttransport-Unternehmens, eine mehr als kompetente Ansprechpartnerin. Sie kennt die maritime Branche und die aktuellen Marktentwicklungen und kann fundiert beraten, wie neue Segel- und Motoryachten sicher von der Bauwerft zu ihrem neuen Liegeplatz kommen oder gebrauchte Yachten in ihren neuen Heimathafen umziehen. SEGEL JOURNAL sprach mit Saskia Neumann-Glogau über die Herausforderungen der Saison 2022 und alle Vorbereitungen, die vor dem Transport einer Yacht geleistet werden müssen

Wie viel Prozent eurer Aufträge macht der Transport von gebrauchten Yachten, die von ihrem alten zum neuen Liegeplatz gebracht werden müssen, aus?

Werftneue Yachten machen rund 70 Prozent unseres Transportvolumens aus, gebrauchte Yachten entsprechend 30 Prozent. Vor allem nun, in der Hochsaison, liefern viele Werften die neuen Schiffe aus, die dann von uns quer durch Europa transportiert werden. Wir haben derzeit sehr viel zu tun, auch, weil in den letzten zwei Jahren sehr viele Schiffe verkauft und bestellt wurden. Wir werden unser Personal an unserem Stammsitz in Neumünster aufstocken und haben derzeit Stellen in den Bereichen Disposition und Projektabwicklung ausgeschrieben.

Welche Länder und Marinas sind derzeit besonders beliebt?

Noch immer zeichnet sich ein starker Trend vom Norden in den Süden ab. Die gesamte Adriaküste, Spanien, dabei vor allem Mallorca und die Cote d’Azur sind nach wie vor bei Yachteignern sehr beliebt. Auch Griechenland und die Türkei steuern wir häufig an, genauso wie England. Der Transport von und nach England ist durch den Brexit allerdings sehr viel aufwändiger und zeitintensiver geworden.

Was muss bei den Vorbereitungen für den Transport bedacht werden, wie wird das Rigg besonders gesichert, damit es auf dem Transport keinen Schaden nimmt?

Werftneue Yachten und ihre Riggs werden häufig komplett eingeschweißt, bei gebrauchten Yachten raten wir davon aus Kostengründen ab. Der normale Straßenstaub, der sich während des Transports auf dem Rumpf absetzt, lässt sich sehr leicht mit klarem Wasser wieder abwischen. Wichtiger ist es, das Rigg gut mit Luftpolsterfolie zu verpacken und vorher alle beweglichen Teile wie die Wanten und Stagen gut mit Kabelbindern zu fixieren. Dabei raten wir auf den Einsatz von Tape zu verzichten, das beim Lösen oft unschöne Klebereste hinterlässt und nur mühsam wieder abgeht. Wichtig ist es auch, auf die klimatischen Besonderheiten am Start- und Zielort zu achten. Die Motoren der Yachten, die vom Mittelmeer nach Skandinavien transportiert werden, sind häufig nicht auf eventuelle Minusgrade vorbereitet. Wir haben eine Checkliste für Eigner, die ihre Yacht selbst für den Transport vorbereiten, anhand derer alle wichtigen Punkte abgearbeitet werden können.

Wie viel Vorlaufzeit braucht es, um den Transport einer Yacht vorzubereiten und durchzuführen?

In den letzten zwei Jahren sind die Bearbeitungszeiten durch die Ämter länger geworden, so dass wir derzeit zwischen Auftragsvergabe und Transport des Schiffes rund vier Wochen einplanen müssen, in der Hochsaison bis zu sechs Wochen. Oft ergeben sich aber auch kurzfristige Möglichkeiten, den Transport früher abzuwickeln, wenn sich andere Transporte bspw. aufgrund von Lieferschwierigkeiten der Einbauteile kurzfristig verschieben und dazu dann Größe der zu transportierenden Yacht und Ausgangs- oder Zielhafen genau in unsere Disposition passen.

Welche Papiere von dem Schiff müssen vorliegen, damit der große Transport mit der wertvollen Fracht problemlos auch innereuropäische Grenzen überqueren kann?

Sofern das Schiff in der EU versteuert ist, müssen uns für den innereuropäischen Transport gar keine Papiere vorgelegt werden. Hat die Yacht zwar einen Liegeplatz innerhalb Europas, ist aber zum Beispiel auf den British Virgin Islands registriert, müssen Transitdokumente ausgefüllt werden. In diesem Fall helfen wir aber mit unserem internationalen Netzwerk von Agenten bei allen bürokratischen Hürden, so dass bis zum Transport alle nötigen Papiere vorliegen.
