A ghost costume is perfect if you’re looking for a spooky costume for Halloween or a costume party. Even better, it’s super easy and affordable to make the costume yourself!

Make a Traditional Ghost Costume

Step 1 Cut the brim off a light-colored baseball hat.

  • The hat should be as light in color as possible, or people will be able to see it through the bed sheet that will be draped over your head.

Step 2 Drape the sheet over the head of the person wearing the ghost costume.

  • The costume should drag just a little to create a floating effect, but not so much that the person wearing it trips.

Step 3 Mark the center of the person's head on the sheet with a black marker.

  • Pin the sheet around the hat; you'll need to use about three or four more pins.
  • If you don't want the black dot on the top of the head to be so noticeable, you can flip the sheet over. You should still be able to see where the mark on the top of the head is, but it will be less visible to onlookers.
  • You can also just cover the mark with white-out. Or, use a fabric marker pencil that fades (invisible fabric markers).

Step 6 Cut out the eye holes.

Make a More Elaborate Ghost Costume

Step 1 Drape a sheet over the head of the person wearing the costume.

  • You can also put the makeup on the person's neck, since it will be visible.

Step 13 Draw gray circles on the person's eyelids and under his or her eyes.

Make this super easy diy ghost costume for you or your kiddo in no time i’ll teach you step by step on how to diy this easy halloween costume, i can feel in the air that the summer is almost over and with that fact, i started already thinking about fall decoration ideas and diy halloween costumes as well. my daughter wants to dress up as a friendly ghost this year and have a candy corn bag. so, there it is, i designed an easy diy ghost costume and a bag in a candy corn colors., previously i designed an easy diy owl costume that you can make in any size. also, for a super mario lover, you’ll find a small child size diy thwomp costume . and then an easy diy tinker bell dress up that will make little fairy girl super happy., let’s get ready to make a ghost costume in child and adult sizes, to make this ghost costume you’ll need a white fabric preferably cotton or cotton blend. for a small child, a 44” wide fabric will be perfect to use. and, for an adult, you’ll need a 108” wide quilting fabric., you determine the width of the costume by measuring from the top of the middle finger through the torso to the top of the middle finger of the other hand. and the model needs to be with their arms lifted to the sides., if you are planning to make this ghost costume for a child and an adult, you may need to get just the 108” wide fabric. in average size adult the measurement from “finger to finger” is around 60”. so, you can cut the fabric longwise and use the leftover for a child-size ghost costume., note: the best way to cut a long piece of fabric is to make a small cut on the edge of the fabric and just rip it with your hands. it will rip the fabric perfectly straight following the grain., also, you need to know how much fabric to get. to determine that you need to take a measurement from the top of the head to the toes. then, multiply that amount by two. so, for instance, if your child measures 40” from the top of the head to the toes then you’ll need 80” of fabric. and, that’s about 2.25 yards. this post contains some affiliate links for your convenience (which means if you make a purchase after clicking a link i will earn a small commission but it won’t cost you a penny more) i always recommend products i tried, use, and love., what you need for an easy diy ghost costume, basic sewing tools, cotton or cotton blend white quilting fabric 44” or 108” wide, black quilting fabric – fat quarter works great, lightweight iron-on interfacing, free ghost face template is ready to download at my resource library – to get the password, fill out the form at the bottom of this post, i am happy to teach you how to make a ghost costume, remember to always wash and dry fabric ahead of time to preshrink it., step 1. iron the interfacing to the back of the black fabric and cut out the face pieces..

Step 2. Take measurements of the head and particularly: ear to ear and top of the head to the bottom of the neck.

Then, fold the white fabric in half aligning the salvages together. it doesn’t matter now if you fold it right or wrong side together. and then fold it again but lengthwise. pin in few places so the fabric won’t shift., now, using a fabric pencil mark the head measurements as it shows in the picture. make sure to add about 11/2” in the width for the seam. that way the headpiece of the costume will fit nicely and loose after sewn. then, draw a contour of the head starting from the top, through the width mark, and then make a curve by the bottom of the neck mark and straight to the side. next, cut it following the drawn contour line..

Step 3. First, take a measurement from the top of the head to eye level and add a seam allowance to the amount. Then, mark that measurement in the middle of a one white costume piece from the top. That will mark the level of the eye-opening.

Also, take a measurement from the middle of one eye to the middle of the other eye. and then mark it on the fabric., pin the black eyes pieces first to make sure they are in the right position. and then stitch them using a zig-zag stitch. now, cut the white fabric out of the eyes and then using a zig-zag stitch again stitch the edges together..

Step 4. Pin the top of the white costume pieces right side together and stitch. Using a zig-zag stitch finish the seam and that will prevent the fabric from fraying.

  • We recommend using fleece as your white base because it'll keep your kiddo warm, won't snag, and you can cut it to fit any size. Fold the fabric over, then in half, and measure to find the middle of the fold line. Mark this spot with a pin, measure about four inches on either side of the pin, and mark. Cut a small semi-circle and check to see if your child can fit their head through the hole.

The process involves measuring and cutting the wire for the torso, shaping it into a human-like form, creating a voluminous skirt by connecting triangular wire pieces, adding straps, spray-painting with glow-in-the-dark paint, and setting the ghost in your yard for an eerie effect.

Inspired by the work of artist Derek Kinzett, this chicken wire ghost dress aims to add spooky charm to your outdoor Halloween decor.

DIY illuminated yard ghost

Doodle T and Me! shows us how to create a striking 12-foot ghost decoration for Halloween using scrap lumber, gauzy net drapes, a white garbage bag filled with newspaper, and battery fairy lights. Connect the lumber to form the armature, fill the bag for the head, secure it, and drape the netting over it.

Upcycled wood ghosts

Have a blast with this enjoyable Halloween project by @JagCagDesign! Craft these upcycled wood ghosts using fence boards or any lumber you have. Cut the wood, sketch and cut out head, eyes, and mouth, then paint and distress for a rustic look.

Assemble the ghosts with salvaged hinges, rusty stars, and reclaimed items. These whimsical expressions bring spooky delight, turning old "junk" into delightful Halloween decor.

DIY clay tea light ghosts

Avoid the high price tags of ceramic tea light ghosts, which can cost up to $70-$90 for a set, by creating your own at a fraction of the cost. Follow simple steps to form arches, secure them with hot glue, and create fringe. Add character with black polyester felt for the eyes and mouth, and optionally use white felt for pupils. No macrame expertise is required for this delightful Halloween decor piece!

DIY rope ghost wall art

Elevate your Halloween decor with an adorable and easy-to-make DIY rope ghost by Jackie Barrell. Swap out your wall decor with this cute ghost, made using any frame without glass.

This Helpful Ghost Cartoon Will Make You The Most Fashionable Spirit of Halloween 2017

When it comes to classic Halloween costumes, a ghost is definitely right up there at the top of the list. The thing is, it's tough to put a creative twist on such an old standby. So if you're wondering how to dress up as a ghost , check out this handy cartoon guide that will make you the most fashionable ghost at any Halloween party this year.

According to Mashable, you have Gemma Correll, who is a cartoonist, writer, and illustrator , to thank for these new twists on an old favorite. She posted a cartoon she drew that features 16 different takes on the ghost costume to Twitter on Wednesday, Oct. 18. That's right, now you can take your other-worldly costume way beyond a simple cut-out sheet this year.

Now, you might be thinking that it's impossible to come up with that many variations on a pretty standard costume, but after looking at the cartoon, you'll be glad Correll came up with them, because you'll be the big winner rocking the "Cropped" ghost look at your Halloween bash.

Twitter definitely came on strong with opinions on the best styles and praise for Correll's creativity. If the year written on the cartoon is accurate, Correll has been the pioneer of alternative ghost fashion since 2014.

Take a look at all the boo-tiful options you have this holiday.

There really is something for every style here. You can still get in on the ghost fashion game even if you're headed to a more formal Halloween soirée. All you need to do is finish off your look with a top hat and bowtie (naturally) and you'll fit in seamlessly.

Twitter got to praising Correll's out-of-the-box ghosts right away.

This one cuts right to the chase, and she's not wrong.

Oh, clever-brain envy is all too real.

At least you can benefit from Correll's cleverness when you dress up as a "Peplum" ghost this Halloween.

They may be known for their scares, but sometimes ghosts are good for a laugh, too.

See laughs..

Once Twitter gave Correll her due, the opinions on specific ghost fashions began rolling in.

The utility of "Cargo" ghost was questioned.

Hmm, what do ghosts carry? Unfinished business, maybe.

Another commenter thought "Cargo" deserved the top spot.

If sporty spice was your go-to '90s costume, then "sporty" ghost is definitely for you..

Sometimes it's the simplest puns that bring the biggest laughs.

Some couldn't decide which style would suit them best.

A "Pleated" ghost is such a welcome change to the ever-baggy style of the classic.

Once again, the ghost is more flattering and fashion-forward with a "Slim Fit."

Seeing as Oct. 31 is just around the corner, Correll released her ghost fashion guide just in time. If you're partial to a last-minute costume, you can now go a different route other than throwing on cat ears and a tail for the third year in a row. And now, thanks to Correll, you can even channel the stress of finding the perfect clever and creative Halloween getup into your costume this year. If that's not exactly what the "Distressed" ghost is for, then I don't know what it is.

How Do I Dress Up as a Ghost for Halloween? This Guide Will Show You

When it comes to a costume party, the ghost costume is one of the easiest and most popular choices. Since it’s very easy to make, this means you don’t have to spend your money on a ghost costume. Instead, you can put that money into your next Halloween party.

If you are looking for a great costume idea for Halloween but don’t want to spend too much money on a costume, why not try making your own ghost costume? It’s very easy and inexpensive. You can use your imagination and choose the colors that you think will look great with your outfit.

It’s also easy to change the look of your ghost costume to make it look different from someone else’s Halloween costume. Just be careful about how you dress up as a ghost because there are many people who dress up as ghosts and you might end up looking like them if you don’t take care of yourself.

You need some inspiration when dressing up as a ghost for Halloween? Here are some ideas:

1) Make sure that the color of your clothes is something that would go well with what you’re wearing. This means that if you’re wearing black, then it would be best if your clothes have black in them too.

If you want to dress up as a ghost for Halloween, it may seem like a difficult task because ghosts are just a white sheet with two holes. But there is more to it than that. You can be more creative and have more fun.

You should first decide if you want to be a scary ghost or a friendly ghost. Kids might like the friendly ghost better, but for adults, I would recommend the scary ghost.

To make a scary ghost, you will need an old sheet, scissors and some makeup.

First, cut the sheet in half by folding it in half and cutting along the fold. If you have trouble cutting the sheet, use safety scissors or get someone with good scissors to help you.

Next, cut eye holes in each of your ghosts heads. These should be placed so they are near the top of the head where eyes would normally be on a person’s face. If you want to make your ghost really scary, cut out another hole below each eye hole so it looks like the mouth is open wide and shouting something at people who see it coming towards them on Halloween night!

If you want an even scarier look then use black makeup around those eye holes and make sure there is red lipstick at that open mouth area too!

The best way to scare people this Halloween is to dress up as a ghost. But how do you do that? You’re not going to just drape a sheet over your head and call it a day. If you’re serious about Halloween and really want to get into the spirit of things, you’ve got to put some real thought into your costume.

A good ghost costume can be built out of old clothes, some makeup and a few key accessories. Here are those key steps:

1. Select the right clothes

2. Apply makeup

3. Add accessories

4. Practice your scary face

Ghosts have been a staple Halloween costume for decades. Basic ghost costumes consist of a white sheet with two holes cut out for the eyes, but you can find more elaborate ghost costumes at most Halloween stores. If you want to make your own ghost costume, it’s easy to do so with a few simple supplies.

How to Make a Ghost Costume

Making a ghost costume is easy and inexpensive. All you really need are a few tools and materials:

A white sheet

Pencil or chalk

A headband or safety pins, depending on how you want to attach the mask to your head

To start, cut a large oval out of the sheet. This will be the face hole of your mask. Cut around the edges by hand, so that they are frayed. Next, make two holes on either side of the mask for eyes. You can use scissors or a knife for this step. Finally, attach the mask to your head using a headband or safety pins.

Once you have your mask, wear all white clothing underneath it (e.g., an old white T-shirt and jeans). It’s best to wear tennis shoes so that you can move around easily in your costume. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight for trick-or-treating!

Now that you know how to make a ghost costume, get started on yours today! It’s fun and easy!

1. Find an old sheet at home or purchase a really cheap one from any store that sells Halloween costumes.

2. Cut holes for your eyes, nose and mouth.

3. Wear the ghost costume over your clothes and you are ready to go!

Halloween is the one night of the year when it’s perfectly acceptable to scare people. Some opt for a more traditional scary costume, like a zombie or witch. But if you really want to terrify your friends, family, and neighbors, then you need a ghost costume!

To make a simple ghost costume, you’ll need some white fabric, scissors, safety pins and some gloves. First, cut out two large circles of fabric for the front and back of your costume. Then cut out holes for your head and arms. You can use safety pins to attach the fabric together on one shoulder so that it stays in place. If you’re feeling creative, use black construction paper to create eyes and mouth designs like the ghost emoji. Finish off the look with some white gloves that match your costume!

Spirits, poltergeists, phantoms… or, more commonly, ghosts have piqued the interest of the human mind for ages. Perhaps it’s the allure of the unknown that attracts us. Maybe it’s our desire to connect with those that have left this spiritual plane. Or maybe it’s all the spooky horror movies that bring us thrills at the local movie theater. Whatever the reason, we can never seem to get enough of ghosts, especially during Halloween time. After all, it’s the perfect time of year for supernatural activity and it’s also the perfect time to dress up in one of our ghost costumes. That’s right, perpetuating the paranormal aura that comes with Halloween has become a tradition, where kids dress up in every manner of ghoulish outfit. It just wouldn’t be Halloween if the usual suspects, like skeletons, zombies, and ghosts weren’t roaming the streets, and we carry a great selection of costumes for both adults and children to help continue this tradition. This handy guide will help you decide which one to choose for your next Halloween of costume party experience.

When people say the word “ghost”, so many different images might pop up in people’s heads. Although some people might think of Casper the Friendly Ghost, most people probably think of spooky creatures that haunt old houses. Most of our adult-sized costumes capture this eerie nature. Whether you want to be the lost soul that haunts the old woods, or a creepy Victorian guest that died in a party accident centuries ago, these ghost costumes each bring a slightly different twist on the idea of a spooky specter.

It’s one of our exclusive costumes, so our costume designers put a huge amount of time and care into it. The faceless mask adds a mysterious style to the costume, so no one will know who you were in life.

Victorian Ghost Costume

Don’t forget to practice your ghastly “woooooo” before slipping into this costume.

Ghost Groom Costume

Ghost Groom Costume

This ghostly character was never able to make it to the altar in life, but that doesn’t me he has to spend the rest of eternity haunting the world of the living all by himself! That’s what this ghost groom costume is all about. It combines the charming look of a man ready to tie the knot with the aged sensibilities of a ragged spirit, forced to spend his time traversing through the world of the living. Just make sure you find yourself a bride if you plan on dressing like the ghastly groom.

Ghost Bride Costume

Scream Costumes

Wes Craven has crafted some of the wildest thriller moves of the last few decades. Of course, he invented the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, where Freddy Krueger terrorized young kids in their dreams. He dabbled as a producer in Dracula movies and even as an actor in Jay and Silent Bob movies. He also struck gold with MTV’s classic horror film, Scream. In the classic scary movie, a mysterious killer ends up murdering a bunch of victims in a small town. The killer in that movie used a Ghost Face mask to hide his identity until the very end. That makes the Ghost Face look a great way to dress up when selecting a ghost costume.

Scream Costume

Scream Costume

First up is the classic Scream costume for adults! Now you can look like the unidentified killer from the original film. Will you follow the rules of horror movie tropes, or will you wander your neighborhood scaring unsuspecting trick-or-treaters? The choice is really up to you!

Kids Scream Costume

The Scream movies are so well known that Ghost Face is even a favorite among kids. After all, that ghastly mask that he wears is pretty well known in pop culture and kids tend to gravitate towards things that are scary, so it’s no surprise that your child might want to get all dressed up in this kids Scream costume .

MTV Scream Costume

MTV Scream Costume

After four successful movies, the Scream franchise eventually transformed into a series on MTV. A new cast and a redesign of the costume were in order for the show and that’s how we got this new MTV Scream costume. It has a scary update to the classic mask and now the robe looks a little less like a Halloween costume and a little more like a rain poncho. It’s the perfect way to bring the classic villain into a new generation.

Ghost Face Mask

Ghost Face Mask

The most important part of the Scream costume is the Ghost Face mask . It’s one of our scary masks that has stood the test of time, since it used to be a regular ghost mask until the Scream movies turned it into a piece of pop culture. This version fits quite easily over your head and you can wear your own black clothes to fully get the serial killer look from the movies.

Ghost Costumes for Kids

Kids have been dressing up as ghosts ever since Halloween became a mainstay for trick-or-treating. The classic bedsheet ghost has been worn by plenty of pop culture characters, including Charlie Brown from Peanuts, E.T., and Charlie from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. These days, the ghost costumes for kids have gotten a little more detailed. Check out all these great options for dressing your child up like a ghost without ruining your perfectly good bedsheets.

Kids Ghost Costume

It comes with a full-body robe with an attached, faceless hood to give your child a ghastly look to wear. Just make sure you warn your neighbors about your little one wearing this outfit, since they might just think that your neighborhood really is haunted.

Girls Ghost Costume

Girls Ghost Costume

Some ghosts have a little more refinement as phantoms. Your little girl could be one of them with this girls ghost costume . This fancy outfit brings your child a look that’s both elegant and frightening as it comes with a billowy dress that has that tattered look of the haunted dead. The costume also comes with a waist chain accessory to complement the look. Make sure to add a set of ghostly makeup to her look to get the full effect!

Toddler Ghost Costume

Toddler Ghost Costume

Even the smallest member of your family can get in on the ghostly fun with this toddler ghost costume. The costume comes with a plush body tunic and a matching hood and is quite easy to put on and take off, so you shouldn’t have any problem getting your little one to wear it.

Slimer Costumes

We probably don’t have to tell you how great the Ghostbusters movies are. Not only did it highlight the great comedic abilities of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson, but it also gave us some new takes on the classic poltergeist. Slimer, the little green ghost based on John Belushi, shows us that sometimes ghosts aren’t always bone chilling. Sometimes, ghosts can be kind of adorable. That makes Slimer a great costume choice for anyone looking to dress up like a ghost this year. Just check out some of our cool Slimer costumes for both adults and kids.

Slimer Costume

Slimer Costume

Slimer has a pretty great life. He spends most of his time hanging out on 12th floor of the Sedgewick Hotel. There, he gobbles up plenty of tasty snacks and crashes in whichever hotel room he feels like taking a nap in. Then he likes to slime the Ghostbusters whenever they come for a visit. The only thing he as to watch for is those nasty proton streams that they come packing! If you want to trade in your humdrum life for the luxurious life of Slimer, then give this licensed Slimer costume a try. It’s inflatable, so you’ll have the green bulbous look with ease.

Infant Slimer Costume

Infant Slimer Costume

This infant Slimer costume gives your baby an incredible option when trying to form a Ghostbusters group costume. It’s a soft tunic costume made out of green polyester fleece that will have your little one ready to tag along on your paranormal hunting activities!

Slimer Mask

Dressing like Slimer doesn’t mean you have to cover your entire body in slime! Heck, you don’t even need to wear a full-body costume to get the look of the classic green ghost. You only need this Slimer mask , which is molded to look just like the paranormal creature from the movies. It’ll look like he’s sliming your head when you put it on, so make sure you steer clear from any guys carrying proton packs.

Kids Slimer Costume

Kids Slimer Costume

Slimer isn’t just for babies and adults (although the only people who can truly enjoy the experience the joy of dressing up like Slimer are those who are old enough to remember Ecto-Coolers). This kids Slimer costume is a licensed costume from the Ghostbusters movies that will have your child ready to join your family Ghostbusters group.

Ghost Costume Accessories

Accessories are one of the most important additions to any costume! They’re a quick way to add a finished look to any outfit, and ghost costumes are no exception. We carry plenty of scary accessories to add to your look, so we went ahead and narrowed it down to our choice of top four essential ghost accessories to add to your costume. Just check them out below.

Ghost Makeup

Ghost Makeup

Ghosts always have a glowing, white ethereal appearance. The perfect way to get that kind of look isn’t by throwing a bunch of flour on your face. It’s a makeup kit! This particular ghost makeup kit gives you all the tools you need to lighten up the look of your face to create a style that comes straight from the afterlife. Just pair it up with any of our scary costumes and you can be off scaring unsuspecting victims in no time.

Ghost Wig

Just because you plan on becoming a dead spirit doesn’t mean you have to give up your hair! If movies with spirits in it have taught us anything, it’s that some of those ghosts have some pretty rocking hair. Just look at Patrick Swayze in the movie Ghost. This ghost wig is an accessory for women that will help you have a great hairstyle while you dress up as a ghastly visitor from the realm of the dead!

Chain Rope

Ever since Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, chains have been a part of the popular image of undead spirits. Marley’s ghost walked around with the chains of his past life attached to him during his spirit form. This chain rope is an easy accessory to add to any ghost costume. All you have to do is drag it around like the late Jacob Marley to add a creepy effect to your look.

Ghost Mask

If you want to scare the pants off of your friends and family, then you need a ghost mask that really delivers the full horror movie experience. This ghastly accessory is just one of our scary masks that has a blood curdling effect. It’s made of 100% natural latex and is made by Ghoulish Productions and should be enough to put a fright into anyone who lays eyes upon you.

Ghost Of Tsushima: How To Dress Up As A Legendary Thief Trophy Guide

One hidden Trophy in Ghost of Tsushima is a fun Sly Cooper Easter egg, but figuring it out can be tough.

By Phil Hornshaw on July 28, 2020 at 12:14PM PDT

Compared to most games, Ghost of Tsushima is a pretty forgiving in terms of Trophies. Despite there being countless collectibles, most Trophies don't require you to find all of them--only the most important ones that usually have a direct impact on gameplay. There are a few hidden Trophies that require you to explore the game a little more, but they're usually not too tough to figure out. And then there's the game's most difficult challenge: the Cooper Clan Cosplayer Trophy.

This hidden Trophy gives you very little to go on if you check it in the Ghost of Tsushima Trophy list. It suggests you need to "dress up as a legendary thief." The name of the Trophy and its description are references to Sucker Punch's Sly Cooper franchise, in which players take on the role of a heist-pulling raccoon--but figuring out exactly what you need Jin to wear in order to conjure up Sly Cooper's classic yellow-and-blue costume can be tough.

Cooper Clan Cosplayer Trophy - What You Need

There are three pieces of you need Jin to wear to unlock the Cooper Clan Cosplayer Trophy: Gosaku's Armor , the Crooked Kama Headband , and the Sly Tanuki Sword Kit . You'll also need to find 10 flowers to buy the Ocean's Guardian armor dye for Gosaku's armor, which is blue and yellow. What mask Jin wears doesn't matter; neither does the color customization for your half-bow or longbow.

You'll have to trek across most of Tsushima to find all three pieces you need, however, and two of them won't be available until you push the main story to Act 3.

Gosaku's Armor

You'll get Gosaku's Armor as part of a Mythic Tale: The Unbreakable Gosaku, which unlocks very early in Act 2. You'll find the singer who explains the tale in Akashima Village in Toyotama. To unlock the armor, you need to gather six keys, which are in the care of farmers at five Mongol-occupied farmsteads (marked by a plant icon on the map). Four of them are in Izuhara: Ohama Fishing Village and Aoi Village in Tsutsu ; Kuta Farmstead in Ariake ; and Yagata Farmstead in Kashine . The last two are in Toyotama: Iijima Farmstead in Umugi and Koshimizu Farmstead in Kushi .

No Caption Provided

With all six keys in hand, head to Akashima's Old Togo Rice Fields, near Fort Ito and Akashima Light House. On the east side of the area is a mountain--look for a stone door you can enter at the bottom to find a climbing path that will take you to where Gosaku's Armor rests at the top.

No Caption Provided

Once you have the armor, visit any merchant in a town and purchase the Ocean's Guardian armor dye for the armor.

Crooked Kama Head Band

The second part of the costume is a reference to Sly Cooper's iconic hook-shaped weapon, the kama. It's found on a headband, a piece of Vanity Gear you can find as a collectible in the world. To get it, you'll have to progress to Act 3 in the main story of Ghost of Tsushima, so you can get access to Jogaku Temple.

Climb the tall pagoda at Jogaku Temple to find the Crooked Kama headband piece of Vanity Gear. If you upgrade your Traveler's Attire, wear it and your controller should pulse when you're nearby.

When you reach the temple, look for the tall pagoda outside the walls of the rest of the area. Standing just beneath it, you should be able to jump up near the corners of the pagoda and throw up your iron hook to climb the building. Proceed to the top and check the back side (the one furthest from the lake) to find an arrow with the headband hanging from it.

The pagoda you're looking for is the building closest to Lake Jogaku.

Sly Tanuki Sword Kit

Your last piece of gear requires you to find a Pillar of Honor in an out-of-the-way place in Kamiagata, once you've started Act 3. Head to the east coast of Kin and look for a peninsula jutting out from the island. You'll find it east of Trapper's House and Northeast of Iwai Village.

The Pillar of Honor is on a small point on Kin's coast, and will take some climbing to reach.

You'll need to do some climbing over rocks and cliffs to get out to a snowy lookout over the ocean to find the Pillar. Claim its sword kit, the aptly named "Sly Tanuki."

The Sly Cooper Look

Equip all the required pieces and you'll unlock the Cooper Clan Cosplayer Trophy. Here's what it'll all look like:

Equip the Cr0oked Kama headband, Gosaku's Armor with the Ocean's Guardian armor dye, and the Sly Tanuki Sword Kit to complete your Sly Cooper look.

There are more hidden Trophies in Ghost of Tsushima that require a little searching to unlock. While none of them are quite as tough to figure out without help as the Cooper Clan Cosplayer Trophy, they might also give you pause. Use our Ghost of Tsushima Hidden Trophy Guide to find them all and grab that Platinum.

Ghostface Costume Ideas

Ghostface Scream DIY Costume Guide

The iconic Ghostface from the Scream series has haunted our screens since the 90s, becoming an emblem of modern horror. As eerie as it is recognizable, Ghostface has stirred up an interest in many fans who wish to recreate this character for cosplay events and Halloween.

In this blog post, we’ll delve into how to assemble a top-notch Ghostface costume while also preserving your unique flair.

How to Dress Like Ghostface from

Ghostface first became a familiar character in the year 1996 and today is one of the most recognizable characters of any horror film.

To get the most realistic Ghostface costume, you’ll need the following items:

  • Black full-length Grim Reaper costume
  • White Scream mask
  • White gloves
  • Voice changer

The Ghostface Mask

Ah, the Ghostface mask – the face that launched a thousand screams. It’s as vital to your costume as the “scream” is to Scream. This white, distorted face with its gaping, black-eyed scream can send a chill down the spine of even the most hardened horror fan. You can find it lurking in the shadows of your local costume store or haunting the pages of online retailers.

And here’s a tip to really spookify your look: Ghostface isn’t just a costume, it’s a character. Mysterious, eerie, a little bit naughty. Try to embody this persona. When you look in the mirror wearing the mask, don’t just see yourself – see Ghostface looking back at you.

The Black Robe

Now, let’s cloak you in mystery – quite literally. The Ghostface costume is incomplete without the long, black robe. It’s this flowing shroud of darkness that transforms a simple mask-wearer into the iconic Ghostface, ready to haunt Halloween parties and cosplay events alike.

The robe should ideally sweep the ground, with sleeves wide enough to fan out dramatically during your most chilling poses. While Ghostface’s robe often has a shiny, satin-like quality, don’t be afraid to go rogue with a matte finish if it screams ‘you’. After all, it’s your personal twist that will help you stand out from the ghostly crowd.

Let’s give a hand to Ghostface’s often overlooked accessory – the black gloves. While they might not be the showstopper of the ensemble, in the world of cosplay, the devil is in the details. These gloves can be found haunting the same costume stores as the mask, but don’t overlook the potential of a pair of old winter gloves – a quick dye job and they could be perfect!

Ghostface has a preference for the pointy end of a knife. For your costume, safety first – opt for a prop knife. But don’t just pick up any old plastic piece. This is your chance to be creative. A knife splashed with theatrical blood for that ‘freshly-used’ look? Or perhaps a glow-in-the-dark blade, perfect for making a spooky statement on Halloween night? Remember, your weapon, your rules.

The Voice Changer

One of Ghostface’s most bone-chilling tricks is his use of a voice changer. Step up your cosplay game by using this as part of your costume. There are plenty of apps out there that can modify your voice, transforming your friendly ‘hello’ into a hair-raising, Ghostface-worthy growl. Just remember, the goal is to thrill, not to terrify to the point of actual distress. Ghostface is a character, not a lifestyle.

About Ghostface’s Look

Ghostface actually represents several different characters, so it isn’t just one person donning the mask in the series of movies. The movies take place in the fictional town of Woodsboro, California, and are the creation of horror king Wes Craven.

In the movies, several characters are going around killing people but they all use the infamous mask so even the audience isn’t always sure who they are.

Numerous actors have played parts in these movies, and the character often uses a voice changer in order to confuse his victims even further. The mask and voice changer make the character rather unique because they are unlike the items used by other horror villains.

The good news about the Ghostface costume is that it is easy to find and affordable, so you can find it without breaking the bank.

Wrapping Up

Dressing up as Ghostface for cosplay or Halloween is about more than just the costume. It’s about embodying the character while also adding your own twist. Whether that’s through a unique prop, a voice changer app, or the way you carry yourself, it’s these personal touches that will make your Ghostface costume stand out.

Just as Ghostface has become a timeless symbol of modern horror, your costume can become a highlight of your cosplay or Halloween experience. Cosplay events are an opportunity to express your creativity and passion for your favorite characters.

So, get that mask, robe, and gloves, add your personal touch, and prepare to give people a good scare. Enjoy the thrill of becoming Ghostface, and remember – it’s all in good fun!
