Mounts Bay Sailing Club Events Location

Situated on the peaceful banks of the Swan River, only fifteen minutes’ drive from Perth CBD, Mounts Bay Sailing Club is a uniquely stunning and picturesque waterfront venue.

Choose from our three fantastic event spaces, including the outdoor Riverside Lawn and two upstairs function rooms: the Col Taylor Lounge and Kilburn Hall. All of our spaces boast striking river and city views to impress your guests, while the private club atmosphere adds an air of exclusivity to your occasion.

For larger functions, our Riverside Lawn has the capacity to accommodate up to 2000 guests cocktail style or 1000 guests seated. For small-to-medium parties and celebrations, our function rooms can hold between 100 – 300 people, each including the use of a private bar and balcony overlooking the water. The venue also comes with 70 complimentary onsite parking bays which will take the stress and cost out of parking for your guests. 

Mounts Bay Sailing Club offers a refreshingly alternative setting to the standard hotel function room or bar, taking your celebration to the next level and ensuring it remains a lifelong memory. Mounts Bay Sailing Club allows you the freedom to select your own catering supplier for your event. Function room hire includes the use of our catering kitchens, making the process easy and convenient for your choice of provider.  We regularly work with some of the best catering companies in Perth so get in touch if you need recommendations. We are well experienced with all sorts of functions and can carefully guide you through the process of picking suppliers. We welcome all your suppliers to come for a site visit and familiarise themselves with our venue prior to your event.

When making your beverage choices for your function we have two formats for you to choose from. You can either choose a beverage package or create your own custom selection against your minimum spend or bar tab. We are more than happy to discuss drink options with you and will endeavour to get your preference of drinks in for your event.

A cocktail bar can even be set up for your event if you fancy doing something a little special for your guests. We have a wide range of experience when it comes to your mixology wishes and are happy to meet your cocktail needs!

Our staff are well trained, have their RSA certification and offer an exceptional level of customer service for each and every event. Your function will be assigned the appropriate number of staff for your total guest number as well as an Approved Bar Manager to oversee the bar operation on the night.

In addition, whilst we are happy to offer tray service for up to an hour per event, we are unable to offer table beverage service.

All beverages are required to be purchased through the Club however you are more than welcome to arrange your own catering. 

We certainly do!!! We have lots of couples have their fur babies included in their ceremony and then they are usually chauffered home so they don't frolick in the water all evening.

We only host ceremonies for couples who are enjoying their wedding reception with NYC. This gives our couples the exclusivity of their ceremony among our lush foreshore and beautiful city views.

The number of people has now decreased to 115- what should I do ?

It all depends on what you can comfortably afford. You didn't agree to the dollar to contirbute a  dollar amount you agreed to a spend per person so if the numbers have decreased so does your contribution. Unless you can still comfortably afford the $4500. Hope that helps.
