Measuring 39.60 m (129' 11"), motor yacht AERO (ex 5G) is a magnificent CRN 128 series planing vessel, launched by the prominent Italian builder CRN Yachts in 2011 and refitted in 2023. Designed by renowned Studio Zuccon International, the superyacht features naval architecture by the CRN´s in-house team CRN Engineering. A total number of 10 guests can find luxurious and comfortable accommodation. There are 5 lovely staterooms. She is managed by a professional and dedicated crew of 7.

EXTERIOR The exterior of superyacht AERO is the work of renowned designers Zuccon International Project and offers extensive sociable deck space across three levels. On the sundeck a row of sun beds line up aft, there is a central wet bar and lounge and forward contemporary jacuzzi.

The upper deck aft is an exclusive dining and lounge zone with a generous table and chairs sheltered by the sun deck overhang and an open lounge aft, perfect for leisurely al fresco entertainment.

On the main deck aft there is another cool lounge area, this time shaded by the upper deck and with views out to three sides, access to the swim platform and the main salon. There are 2 fold-out balconies down on the lower deck giving amazing water’s edge access.

INTERIOR The contemporary interior design features high-end features from the design team at Zuccon International Project plus elegant furnishings throughout.

AERO Specifications

The main salon is zoned for relaxing and dining with an aft lounge and forward dining room which can be closed off behind central sliding to create a private space. There is also a sky lounge on the upper deck adding further sociable space.

Built in composite, the 39.6m (130´) luxury yacht 5G is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M90 diesel of 2040 kW at 2100 rpm. She achieves a top speed of 24 knots, with a cruising speed of 19 knots. RINA as well as MCA classed, 5G boasts a beam of 7.7m (25´26´´) and a maximum draft of 2.4m (7´87´´).

Yacht Accommodation

Accommodation is for up to 10 guests in five luxurious staterooms including a full-beam Owner’s suite located on the main deck which boasts his and hers ensuite bathrooms. On the lower deck there are two VIP and two Guest staterooms, all benefiting from the privacy of en-suite facilities.

AERO boasts a wide range of water sports equipment, including a tender, Jet Skis, Seabobs, stand-up paddleboards, and snorkelling gear

Crn 128’: the best combination of comfort and performance.

A vessel with unique characteristics in the world of leisure boating. A mega-yacht, that is able to combine, so marvellously, the comfort of large external and internal spaces with high navigation performance levels on a gliding hull. 40 metres of length, three covered decks, high performance and a unique layout describe the features of the CRN 128', a successful composite semi-custom line, which hull number four has been launched last February by the shipyard of Ancona. Originated by the successful joint effort among the technical staff of CRN and the Zuccon International Project firm, CRN 128' has already been awarded with two of the most sought-after international recognitions of the sector: the prestigious award "European Yacht Trophies" by Yachts magazine and the award for "Best New Semi-Production Series" by ShowBoats magazine. The unique layout of this line provides an innovative garage for the tender, fitted with side openings, and using rotating actuators inside the structure to allow the ship-owner to enjoy all the spaciousness and to also covert the area into an actual small beach on the water's surface. 12 passengers and 8 crew members can comfortably accommodate this mega-yacht. Designed for ship-owners who love onboard comfort and who do not wish to give up performance, thanks to 2 MTU engines 12V 4000 M90 2040 kW, the gliding line CRN 128' allows it to navigate at a maximum speed of 24 knots and at a cruising speed of 20 knots. The care for excellent technology, a common feature of mega-yachts branded CRN, is also attested by the standard installation, on the CRN 128', of 5 Mitsubishi Anti Rolling Gyros stabilizers (5 MSM 4000), a system that is able to reduce the rolling of a vessel by more than 50%, which is one of the main causes for decreasing comfort level, especially while mooring to the roadstead or to a harbour. Thanks to the spacious stern cockpit, the main deck appears as an actual sea terrace, equipped with comfortable sofas. There is a second conversation area used to greet guests and can be accessed by entering through a sliding door; this area is designed to spend pleasant moments together with the main lounge; there is also a 42' flat screen TV that can be retractable to the ceiling. On the same main deck, next to the lounge, there is an elegant dining room with a table that can seat ten people. Going towards the stem, on the left side, there is a pantry room that leads to the kitchen, which is connected by independent stairs that also lead to the sailor area of the lower deck. The layout of this elegant mega-yacht provides a captain's suite on the stern of the main deck, whereas the lower deck is used as the sleeping area for guests. The captain's suite extends through the entire width and also includes a private office, as well as a bathroom with two entrances and a rounded type central shower. The guest area can be reached by going down on the lower deck from the main lobby, this area has four cabins, each one has a bathroom; whereas the stem area has three crew cabins with utility rooms. The stern area on the lower deck is fit to house utility rooms, like the engine room and a garage that is able to carry a tender with a maximum length of 5 metres. The upper deck can be accessed with a staircase that leads the guest from the deck's main lounge directly into the sky lounge on the upper deck; a spacious and luminous relax area, also equipped with a bar in one corner. The steering compartment can be reached by going towards the stem of the upper deck; the state cabin is located on the back of this compartment; whereas, on the outer part, there is a large dinning area with a bar in one corner where the guests can eat on the shaded area of the sun deck, thus enjoying the atmosphere and having total privacy. The sun deck can be accessed by using an external staircase; where there is a second bar and another dinning area. Moreover, there is a Jacuzzi on the stem of this large sun deck, and the stern is used as a sun-bathing area.

Lake county news-sun | libertyville, vernon hills d128 teachers call for superintendent’s firing; ‘she has created an environment of distrust and disrespect’.

The 293 teachers who make up the union, which covers Libertyville and Vernon Hills high schools, overwhelmingly supported a resolution calling for the Board of Education to remove Herrmann immediately.

Union President Monica Caldicott spoke about the resolution during an address to the school board on May 20.

“As educators committed to positive change and growth in our award-winning district, our members know that effective leadership is critical to student success,” said Caldicott, who has been the library media specialist at Vernon Hills High for more than 20 years.

“During her nearly three-year tenure here, Dr. Denise Herrmann has repeatedly shown that she is incapable of leading our district at this important time,” Caldicott said.

Of the union members who voted, 99% voted for the resolution, she said.

The teachers’ union resolution alleges Herrmann has created a, “chaotic and hostile work environment, forcing multiple administrators to leave (the) District in the past year.”

Further allegations in the resolution include eliminating student supports, poor use of taxpayer funds, violating the union’s bargaining agreement, an inability to follow through on district goals and refusing to communicate and collaborate with teachers.

“As the district leader, our superintendent must put the needs of students above all else,” Caldicott said. “By not properly identifying and planning to support students and the teachers and staff who serve them, Dr. Herrmann has failed to fulfill her main responsibility. At the same time, she has created an environment of distrust and disrespect.”

At that meeting, Herrmann read a statement defending the decisions she has made as superintendent.

“I will stand by my unwavering values of integrity and equity,” she said. “I will not back down from doing what is best practice for student learning. Every decision I have made has been aligned with district policy, state law and is in the best interest of all students, but especially those whose voice has been traditionally marginalized.”

The board issued a statement in response to the union’s action, and said it is unable to provide additional comments since it is a personnel matter.

“The Board of Education hears the concerns voiced by our teachers union and will process them together as a Board,” the statement said.

The teachers’ resolution said Herrmann launched educational initiatives, but simultaneously eliminated some effective support for students. The resolution alleges the superintendent, “fail(ed) to create thoughtful and organized plans for new ones for the 2024-25 school year, therefore leaving students without a fully realized system.”

The superintendent also violated the union’s collective bargaining agreement by completing the sectioning of classes for 2024-25 school year without discussion with, or input from the union, the resolution stated.

Additionally, the resolution alleges Herrmann reneged on the imminent settlement of a 2022 union grievance, has not met her three “self-assigned” culture and climate goals and attempted to block the legal granting of professional tenure to 12 educators.

The resolution said the union has exhausted all avenues to communicate concerns with Herrmann through labor-management committee meetings, union messages, attendance at school board meetings and even directly at superintendent-union president meetings and several superintendent roundtables.

“As teachers, we feel responsible to our students, parents and taxpayers,” Caldicott added. “They deserve a superintendent who will make prudent financial decisions and build upon the outstanding legacy and student achievement in our district. Dr. Herrmann has proven she is not that leader.”
