Amaryllis was built by Abeking & Rasmussen in Germany and her splendid interior décor is the work of Reymond Langton.  The award-winning pairing has many iconic vessels to their name and gives this superyacht a notable pedigree.

Amaryllis has accommodation for 12 guests in six luxurious suites.  The configuration comprises three en suite doubles and a twin cabin, which are situated on the lower deck, and a VIP suite on the main deck.  The master stateroom enjoys a private owner’s deck and is furnished with his-and-hers bathrooms, an office and a dressing room; panoramic windows provide uninterrupted 180-degree views from the master suite and there’s direct access to an exclusive deck and sunbathing space.

In complement to the artistic interior style, are several custom-made furniture pieces by Silverlining – another award-winning design firm whose artisanal craftsmanship is appreciated the world-over.

Amaryllis has an expansive saloon on the main deck, a piano lounge/bar and formal dining room on the upper deck, and a sky lounge on the bridge deck, which serves as a more casual lounge space with a 103” Plasma television screen and offers direct access to a large al fresco dining area for 12.

Amaryllis’ sun deck is one of the most popular places for guests to gather on board, with informal seating areas, cushioned sun pads and an oversized Jacuzzi.

A central glass elevator, encircled by a spiral staircase, allows guests to ascend from the lower deck to bridge deck with ease.

Amaryllis has an extensive beach club arrangement to aft on the lower deck, with a dedicated gym – equipped with all the latest machines and accessories, a spa with a sauna, steam room, plunge pool and a massage suite.

Opening the stern door creates a spacious platform for waterside sunbathing and this facilitates direct access to and from the sea.  From here, guests can enjoy the array of water toys, including SeaBobs and jet skis, and adrenaline seekers will love speeding from the sun deck down into the sea via Amaryllis’ giant inflatable slide.

Amaryllis has a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.  Stabilisers both when underway and at anchor ensure optimum comfort and the yacht is served by three tenders.

Launched in 2011, the stunning 257-foot (78.43m) AMARYLLIS is the ideal luxury yacht for both large family charters and entertaining groups of friends. Boasting a fine pedigree, she was built by the German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen and features interior and exterior design by noted firm Reymond Langton. With plenty of impressive features onboard, including a spacious beach club, gym, spa center and numerous dining areas, she has secured a fine reputation on the charter market and continues to impress all those who step on board. 

The fusion of Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Belle Epoque styling make AMARYLLIS a timeless and sophisticated superyacht. The impressive central staircase is accompanied by a glass elevator servicing the lower deck to the bridge deck. The sky lounge can be found on the bridge deck where guests can relax and enjoy movies. Aft on the bridge is an alfresco dining area for up to 12 guests that can be accessed through large sliding doors that create an indoor/outdoor living environment. The upper deck hosts a piano lounge and audio-visual entertainment system as well as a formal dining area for 12 guests, overlooked by a beautiful bronze and crystal chandelier. The sundeck hosts a large Jacuzzi aft with multi-colored lights as well as an informal seating area. The gym, beach club and spa are all located on the lower deck with direct access to the water for swimming and watersports. AMARYLLIS has a plethora of toys including water skis, Jet Skis, wakeboards and fishing equipment.

AMARYLLIS accommodates 12 guests in six luxury staterooms. The full beam master is located on the upper deck with a huge 2.7-meter king-size berth. The master provides uninterrupted panoramic views from the huge windows. His-and-hers en-suites and dressing rooms compliment the master suite, which is further enhanced by the direct access to a private deck area. The VIP stateroom is located on the main deck comprising a large berth with en-suite, dressing room and spacious lobby. The further four en-suite guest cabins are situated on the lower deck, comprising three double cabins and one twin.  

AMARYLLIS combines outstanding engineering and supreme comfort. She has a cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 16.5 knots powered by twin 3516B Caterpillar diesel engines.

Motor yacht Amaryllis, also known as hull 6492, is a 78 meter (257') superyacht, built by the German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen and launched in 2011. Amaryllis superyacht has the interior and exterior designed by noted London-based design firm Reymond Langton. She has a deep blue coloured hull with a contrasting white superstructure, and underwent a full repaint in 2016. Accommodation onboard is offered for 12 guests in 6 well-appointed cabins.

NOTABLE FEATURES: ~ Beach club ~ Gym ~ Spa centre ~ Scuba diving & fishing equipment ~ Various dining areas ~ 5m pool with changing colours ~ Owner's deck with private terrace ~ Swim platform

The interior design was created in the Art Deco style, which features lavish white tones, various types of wood and soft cream colours throughout. The main lounge/saloon is located on the main deck and had a large Plasma TV and soft seating.

Th upper deck hosts piano lounge and audio-visual entertainment system. There is also a formal dining area with a table for 12 guests. The sliding doors ensure fantastic indoor-outdoor flow.

The sky lounge is on the bridge deck. There, guests can enjoy relaxing time and watch TV shows and movies. Aft is the alfresco dining table with seating for 12 guests.

A glass Elevator forms the core of the central spiral staircase servicing guest levels from Lower Deck to the Bridge Deck.

Sun Deck with informal seating area is forward and faces Pilot Chairs. Further aft there is a large Jacuzzi pool (approx 6m x 2m x 0.8m deep) area aft. The Jacuzzi is equipped with an array of jets and lighting variations and can be heated up to 39C if required.

Amaryllis Specifications

At the lower deck level aft, there is a comprehensively equipped Gymnasium incorporated with the Beach Club and the Spa areas. The Beach Club is formed by opening the Main Stern and Port side doors which lower to form extensive sunbathing and swim platform areas with direct access to the water for swimming and water sports activities.

The Spa centre comprises a Sauna, separate steam room, a plunge pool, and shower. There is a massage area adjacent to the gym and Spa. Luxury yacht Amaryllis (hull 6492) has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure built according to Lloyd's Register requirements. She is powered by two 3516B CAT diesel engines and can reach a top speed of 16.50 knots. Her comfortable cruising speed is 14 knots.

Much like the Elitserien Finals, we have a bit of an offense vs. defense match-up in this league Final.  While Ufa let their star top line of Alexander Radulov, Patrick Thoresen and Igor Grigorenko loose on the KHL's Western Conference, Mytischi played a more conservative style, relying on veterans such as former NHLers Jan Bulis, Oleg Petrov, and Jaroslav Obsut.  Just reaching the Finals is a testament to Atlant's disciplined style of play, as they had to knock off much more high profile teams from Yaroslavl and St. Petersburg to do so.  But while they did finish 8th in the league in points, they haven't seen the likes of Ufa, who finished 2nd. 

This series will be a challenge for the underdog, because unlike some of the other KHL teams, Ufa's top players are generally younger and in their prime.  Only Proshkin amongst regular blueliners is over 30, with the work being shared by Kirill Koltsov (28), Andrei Kuteikin (26), Miroslav Blatak (28), Maxim Kondratiev (28) and Dmitri Kalinin (30).  Oleg Tverdovsky hasn't played a lot in the playoffs to date.  Up front, while led by a fairly young top line (24-27), Ufa does have a lot of veterans in support roles:  Vyacheslav Kozlov , Viktor Kozlov , Vladimir Antipov, Sergei Zinovyev and Petr Schastlivy are all over 30.  In fact, the names of all their forwards are familiar to international and NHL fans:  Robert Nilsson , Alexander Svitov, Oleg Saprykin and Jakub Klepis round out the group, all former NHL players.

For Atlant, their veteran roster, with only one of their top six D under the age of 30 (and no top forwards under 30, either), this might be their one shot at a championship.  The team has never won either a Russian Superleague title or the Gagarin Cup, and for players like former NHLer Oleg Petrov, this is probably the last shot at the KHL's top prize.  The team got three extra days rest by winning their Conference Final in six games, and they probably needed to use it.  Atlant does have younger regulars on their roster, but they generally only play a few shifts per game, if that. 

The low event style of game for Atlant probably suits them well, but I don't know how they can manage to keep up against Ufa's speed, skill, and depth.  There is no advantage to be seen in goal, with Erik Ersberg and Konstantin Barulin posting almost identical numbers, and even in terms of recent playoff experience Ufa has them beat.  Luckily for Atlant, Ufa isn't that far away from the Moscow region, so travel shouldn't play a major role. 

I'm predicting that Ufa, winners of the last Superleague title back in 2008, will become the second team to win the Gagarin Cup, and will prevail in five games.  They have a seriously well built team that would honestly compete in the NHL.  They represent the potential of the league, while Atlant represents closer to the reality, as a team full of players who played themselves out of the NHL.
