Our room was clean, the staff was awesome & the location is excellent. Unfortunately the resort itself needs major renovations. Our unit was dated, water damage visible on ceilings, silverware drawer hits oven door so doesn't open all the way, bath tile had been painted & paint is chipped & peeling, repairs made appear to be cheaply done & poorly constructed (marble sills atop ripped boards instead of trim???) We stayed 1 week and the staff & location made it a great stay but when we decided to extend our vacation we chose another resort on Manasota Key. This would be a great place but needs a complete gut & redo of interior.

This place really tries to please- but it's age is starting to show! What is exceptional about this place is the spectacular location- one section faces the gulf cross the street and the other section faces the bay where you can dock your boat. Great restaurants within walking distance. Provides grills, bicycles, board games- even a life size checkerboard under the trees! Pool is a little small- but there is a hot tub! Rooms nice and comfortable but a little difficult to keep cool. It's the location and friendly staff that keep me coming back year after year!

Our little apartment was nice. It is a little outdated but comfortable. We had a nice balcony on the bay side. It was nice to sit out there in the evening and hear the music from the restaurants down the road. Dishes were sparse so if you wanted to cook a lot, you didn't have much to work with, but we managed. We really loved the location. Our only downfall was the people downstairs smoking on the balcony and the smoke coming up to us. The units are nonsmoking but people can smoke outside. I don't feel a screened in area as outside. Coming from a basic non-smoking state and a non-smoker myself, I didn't care for that. It was strange to see people smoking in the restaurant patios too. Everything was nice and clean.

This was our first visit, but definitely not our last! Lovely place! Home like rooms offering just what you need. Beautiful pool and hot tub, plenty of parking and wonderful employees. The beach is gorgeous and the area is clean, safe and fun!

Unit needed repairs, paint and upgrades. Dishes weren't clean. the best part was the location. Bed needed new mattress. The staff needed to check behind to see if all the frying pans and pots were clean. We washed every thing before using.

We were extremely disapointed on arrival as the facility is extremely dated and needs a major overhaul. It has great potential but..... We enjoyed our spacious unit on the top floor & great view of the bay.

I have a timeshare here in mid August and every year I come here for a respite before the upcoming season. I reside year round about 20 minutes from the club resort so it is a quick ride but once “ over the local bridge” I’m transported to a little piece of heaven with the Gulf across the street and the sound of birds surf and my body resting. After a week here I go back to my home and prepare for the season activities and visitors with a renewed outlook and physical calmness. Shhhhhh its a great little secret!
