Yes. We use a system called Cognito to ensure that payment information matches the renter's identity. We also require renters taking out a captained boat to be at least 18 years old and on a bareboat to be at least 25 years old.

Is listing my boat on Boatsetter free?

Yes! Listing a boat is completely free. We only take a commission when your boat is rented. We only make money when you do!

What if I'm not comfortable having a renter drive my boat?

If you are not comfortable having a renter drive your boat, we have an expansive network of licensed and experienced captains. Once your boat is listed, you can filter through our network of captains and favorite captains in your area that you would like to operate your boat.

Edward was a great captain and host. He was very professional, responsive, and accommodating both prior to and during the trip. He took my group on an enjoyable 2-hour ride from Marina Bay to the Seaport, Boston harbor, and back to Quincy. His Bluetooth speaker worked great and we had an amazingly fun and relaxing time. The Schooner Adirondack III »

Adirondack III was designed and constructed specifically for carrying passengers comfortably, which is uncommon for historic schooners. Due to the modern and innovative design of Adirondack III , guests will have room to sit and move around the boat. Adirondack III measures 80 feet in length overall with a 16-foot beam. Her lines are modeled after 1890s style pilot schooners. Adirondack III is long and lean with a spoon bow, which helps her ply through the waters more effortlessly than the average schooner. An all-wooden vessel with a white glass overlay hull, Adirondack III is quite easy to pick out amongst her fellow schooners with her smooth clean lines.

YACHT CHARTERS/DAILY RENTALS

Club vessels not being used by members are available for daily or weekly rental in BOSTON and WESTPORT to persons with acceptable sailing certifications or sailing experience on vessels similar in size to those they wish to rent/charter. Rentals are taxable at the current rate of 6.25%. Rental day is 9-8. Holidays are charged weekend rates. Please CLICK HERE  to fill out your sailing resume for rental approval.

CAPTAINS AVAILABLE: Coast Guard licensed captains are available for day charters at $240/4 hours, $30/hr each additional hour.

Performance daysailers with seating for 3-5 adults, available for day rental in Boston Harbor to qualified small boat sailors with chart reading experience. As Charles River Boat Company’s most luxurious vessel, the Valiant is an elegant 97′ yacht, uniquely serving the waters of Boston Harbor. This vessel boasts a traditional salon area with a full bar, connecting to a wicker-furnished fantail.
