Spirit of Lauderdale Catamaran Charter Cruise, Ft. Lauderdale

Sunset in Ft. Lauderdale is enhanced by a sunset sail on the "Spirit of Lauderdale" - a lovely catamaran. Captain Kai and Cody, the crew, made it even more special and catered to our every need. My 8 and 10 year old granddaughters had a blast with the help of Captain Kai and Cody. Definitely recommend this memorable cruise.

My friend, her 12 year old daughter, and I took an afternoon excursion. Beautiful day, good people, and fun activities. 3 1/2 hours was the perfect length of time. Thanks to Mike and Kai for being such great hosts and were very knowledgable about the beautiful homes along the intercostal.

My boyfriend and I were in FL two weeks ago, and we went on the sunset cruise our first night there. Gary and Cody were awesome. Everyone had a great time. I actually bought the groupon several months earlier because I knew we would be going to FL, so our trip was an even better deal. I would recommend Tropical Sailing to anyone going to FL.

My family and I had a wonderful relaxing afternoon sailing with Cody and Kai!!!! Service was excellent from start to finish!!! Next time we are in the area i will be booking the sunset cruise for sure!!!

My dad, brother, and I went out for a morning sail with Captain Kai and Mike who were reliable and good-natured hosts. The boat was well-equipt with drinks, water, and snacks. Mike was a wealth of interesting knowledge about the mansions along the intercoastal. We had a refreshing swim in the intercoastal after going sailing because the water was far too rough for snorkeling that day. Had a great time!

If you bought this to go out to snorkel at one of the wrecks don't do it. The day I was sailing I called beforehand, since it was raining my way, and asked if they were going out. He said the weather was great where they were and there were no issues. When I arrived the weather was indeed great but they said they would not be going to the wreck and staying near the coast and away from the Bay. I asked one of the crew about this later and he said a lot of people get seasick so they had just been staying away from the bay lately. It'd be nice if they told me beforehand I thought. We stopped in front of the old Miami Marine Stadium. There is no reason to snorkel there and everyone just went swimming. There was no trip to South Beach either.
