Her top speed is 14.5 kn and she boasts a maximum range of 4000.0 nm when navigating at cruising speed, with power coming from two Caterpillar diesel engines. She can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 staterooms, with 9 crew members waiting on their every need. She has a gross tonnage of 403.0 GT and a 7.96 m beam.

She was designed by Frits De Voogt , who also completed the naval architecture. Frits De Voogt has designed 53 yachts and created the naval architecture for 67 yachts for yachts above 24 metres.

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3508B) engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 20 knots with a range of up to 2,000 nautical miles from her 45,000 litre fuel tanks. The True North 34 OE is truly a go-anywhere, do-everything boat that is designed for adventurous people who want to experience nature- comfortably. An open-concept interior features a galley-up configuration that connects the main living space to the spacious cockpit all on one level. Serious cooks love the large and well-equipped galley, and everybody loves being up in the center of the action. The True North 34 performs exceptionally well on flat water in fair weather. But its unique ability to handle rough weather and stormy sea conditions is one of the many elements that sets this boat apart. The sharp, plumb bow slices through the waves instead of pounding on top of them when the seas build. As an advanced combat diving instructor, skydiver, dive master and rescue diver, his sense for adventure, traveling and the outdoors have always been a passion. James worked as security manager for a couple of years, developing security protocols in the Middle East, but the water lured him back to obtain his USCG Master with sailing and commercial towing endorsement. James served as a mate on a 55’ sailing yacht which introduced him to larger vessels and through the years climbed the ladder to having his hand as captain at the helm. He has been a crew member and captain of motor and sailing yachts and always puts safety as his number one priority. He is a responsible team player, always ready to help. As a successful charter captain in the industry for many years, he aims to please and looks forward to having you on board True North. Chef Lisa Maschock is one of the rare finds in the yachting industry. She has traveled to over 50 countries in 18 years using food as her vehicle and sailing over 30,000 NM studying and experiencing all aspects of food and various cultures. Chef Lisa has knowledge of executing large events to intimate dinner parties and works closely with her guests to ensure that your expectations are met. Chef Lisa has knowledge of executing large events to intimate dinner parties and works closely with her guests to ensure that your expectations are met. Lisa has gained a lot form her travels around the world by honoring her skills yet being open to learning new things. She is a great team player ready to wear many hats on board. Lisa has a well-rounded understanding of all aspects involved to ensure a successful charter. She describes her cuisine style as 'uncomplicated fusion of seasonal foods combined with a Mediterranean flare.'<br /> <br /> Stewardess Kristie Wilcox has been in the industry since 2014 involved in various forms of high end service before stepping into the yachting world. She absolutely loves to be working on the water, which has brought a new appreciation for working on a yacht. Her new career has so many opportunities to offer from fishing to sailing to setting an anchor or taking guests to a beach picnic. She loves to be around people serving them with a smile. She comes from a large family with two chefs as parents and has been exposed to fine dining and artistic design since she was a child. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). Savvino-storozhevsky monastery and museum.

Zvenigorod's most famous sight is the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, which was founded in 1398 by the monk Savva from the Troitse-Sergieva Lavra, at the invitation and with the support of Prince Yury Dmitrievich of Zvenigorod. Savva was later canonised as St Sabbas (Savva) of Storozhev. The monastery late flourished under the reign of Tsar Alexis, who chose the monastery as his family church and often went on pilgrimage there and made lots of donations to it. Most of the monastery’s buildings date from this time. The monastery is heavily fortified with thick walls and six towers, the most impressive of which is the Krasny Tower which also serves as the eastern entrance. The monastery was closed in 1918 and only reopened in 1995. In 1998 Patriarch Alexius II took part in a service to return the relics of St Sabbas to the monastery. Today the monastery has the status of a stauropegic monastery, which is second in status to a lavra. In addition to being a working monastery, it also holds the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum.

Belfry and Neighbouring Churches

Located near the main entrance is the monastery's belfry which is perhaps the calling card of the monastery due to its uniqueness. It was built in the 1650s and the St Sergius of Radonezh’s Church was opened on the middle tier in the mid-17th century, although it was originally dedicated to the Trinity. The belfry's 35-tonne Great Bladgovestny Bell fell in 1941 and was only restored and returned in 2003. Attached to the belfry is a large refectory and the Transfiguration Church, both of which were built on the orders of Tsar Alexis in the 1650s.  

To the left of the belfry is another, smaller, refectory which is attached to the Trinity Gate-Church, which was also constructed in the 1650s on the orders of Tsar Alexis who made it his own family church. The church is elaborately decorated with colourful trims and underneath the archway is a beautiful 19th century fresco.

Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is the oldest building in the monastery and among the oldest buildings in the Moscow Region. It was built between 1404 and 1405 during the lifetime of St Sabbas and using the funds of Prince Yury of Zvenigorod. The white-stone cathedral is a standard four-pillar design with a single golden dome. After the death of St Sabbas he was interred in the cathedral and a new altar dedicated to him was added.

Under the reign of Tsar Alexis the cathedral was decorated with frescoes by Stepan Ryazanets, some of which remain today. Tsar Alexis also presented the cathedral with a five-tier iconostasis, the top row of icons have been preserved.

Tsaritsa's Chambers

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is located between the Tsaritsa's Chambers of the left and the Palace of Tsar Alexis on the right. The Tsaritsa's Chambers were built in the mid-17th century for the wife of Tsar Alexey - Tsaritsa Maria Ilinichna Miloskavskaya. The design of the building is influenced by the ancient Russian architectural style. Is prettier than the Tsar's chambers opposite, being red in colour with elaborately decorated window frames and entrance.

At present the Tsaritsa's Chambers houses the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum. Among its displays is an accurate recreation of the interior of a noble lady's chambers including furniture, decorations and a decorated tiled oven, and an exhibition on the history of Zvenigorod and the monastery.

Palace of Tsar Alexis

The Palace of Tsar Alexis was built in the 1650s and is now one of the best surviving examples of non-religious architecture of that era. It was built especially for Tsar Alexis who often visited the monastery on religious pilgrimages. Its most striking feature is its pretty row of nine chimney spouts which resemble towers.
