Perini design ingenuity at the utmost, S/Y Luna was truly unique for her time – and arguably still remains so today. Three decks in a volume with barely a superstructure above deck. Outdoor dining and lounge area in a huge Forward Cockpit. And true privacy for Owner and Guests with crew access from the transom to the crew quarters. An existing Perini Owner appreciated the unique potential, commissioning the Family’s second Liberty – with rich cherry interiors adorned with magnificent antique furniture to contrast her casual tone. One of the most successful charter yachts of her time – and inspiration for another sailing family who would build the 56m Salute following their charters aboard Liberty.

Luna’s interior layout sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 rooms, including a master suite, 2 double cabins, 2 twin cabins and 2 pullman beds. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.

You’ll find extensive entertainment and leisure facilities onboard, making her ideal for entertaining friends and family on your charter vacation. There’s ample space for enjoying an alfresco lunch or dinner on deck, or simply lounging in the sunshine and working on your tan.

Luna has a cruising speed of 12 knots, and brings both performance and style to a charter vacation.

A Jacuzzi on deck is just perfect for relaxing with friends and family, while taking in the breath-taking scenery after a long day of exploration.

Wi-Fi connection is available throughout, so you’ll be able to stay connected while you’re away, great for business, checking emails or sharing your experience on social media.

A gym onboard, equipped with the latest exercise equipment, means you’ll be able to work out at sea.

Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on the hottest of days or nights.

There are toys onboard including Jet-Skis, 3 x Seabobs, Snorkelling Equipment, and Wake Boards, sure to keep guests entertained as you sail.

Race 2 of the Perini Navi Cup saw superyachts kept in port for most of the morning as captains, crew and the race committee waited for the heavy weather conditions to stabilise. Once the torrential rain and heavy winds subsided, the fleet headed for the first course; however, things weren't to stay this way for long.

The Race Committee were presented with no other choice than to abandon racing on the starting line as continuous squalls travelled along the north-eastern coast of Sardinia bringing gusting winds, rain and lightening to Porto Cervo.

Despite the day's enforced break, the regatta's busy social programme continues with a variety of events each evening. Thursday’s cocktail competition organized by event sponsor Vhernier was a resounding success and the winner will be decreed during the final prize giving ceremony taking place this evening.

During the competition Mrs. Milena Perini and Mr. Carlo Traglio, President of Vhernier, presented an all-Italian gift to each of the participating yachts. The event was accompanied by champagne from Pommery, sponsor of the event for the third consecutive edition.

The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda also hosted an extraordinarily successful gala dinner last night, with an incredible turnout, gourmet food, champagne and a live band to keep people in high spirits for the third and final race of the Perini Navi Cup.

The Perini Navi Group has announced their presence at the Monaco Yacht Show , the Moscow Jet Expo as well as the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in 2012. This prestigious Italian luxury yacht builder starts off the nautical new year with their participation at the 22nd edition of the Monaco Boat Show, a prominent event taking place in Monte Carlo from September 19th to 22nd. Charter yacht Silencio (ex Perseus) , dockside, along with superyacht Enterprise (hull C.2173) , on a mooring, will be showcased to represent the Group in this exclusive international show.

Luxury yacht Silencio (ex Perseus), with her 1.150 m2 of sails on 50 and 41,30 M main and mizzen masts constructed by the Perini Navi Mast Department, is the third ketch in the 50 M series. Her interiors are by Christian Liaigre . On the other hand, sailing yacht Enterprise, a 43 M Perini Navi ketch, has been constructed and designed entirely by Perini Navi and her beauty and on board comfort are already well known.

Immediately after the Monaco Boat Show, Perini Navi will move on to the sixth edition of the Moscow Jet Expo that will be held from the 27th to the 29th of September. It will be the first time that Perini Navi participates at this show, the largest event in Russia dedicated to aviation and luxury yachting. The brand from Viareggio , long the ambassador of Italian luxury, will have a stand that tells the story of the world of Perini Navi yachts.

The Perini Navi Group will end the year 2012 with the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show that will be held from the 25th to the 29th of October. Here the Group will bring charter yacht Zenji (ex Santa Maria) , the second yacht in the Perini Navi 56 M series. Her aluminum hull was designed by the naval architects at Perini Navi in collaboration with New Zealander Ron Holland .

Superyacht Zenji boasts a 1.500 m2 sail plan mounted on aluminum masts of 58 e 48 M, operated through 13 reel captive winches. Her masts were built by the Perini Navi Mast Department while her refined and classic interiors, also designed in-house at Perini Navi, won awards at the prestigious Show Boats International Awards ceremony.

During all three of these appointments it will also be possible to get information on new projects signed both by Perini Navi and by Picchiotti . It will also be possible to get information on the Group’s Refit and Repairs department.
