Designed by the famous naval architect Jean-Jacques Coste, Cartouche is a custom built 95’ sailing catamaran - one of the largest charter catamarans in the world - a spacious vessel that embodies luxury cruising. In addition to this timeless elegance the Blue Coast 95’ offers superior comfort and premium performance combining modern styling with elegant aerodynamic lines, which are seamlessly integrated into the vessel’s voluminous interior. This super yacht is built for ease of handling and fast cruising with a minimal need for crew, equipped with a fully automatic furling boom allowing safe and easy sail reduction. CAPTAIN: Charles MANDIL French STCW 95 Language: Fluent English Charles Mandil is a qualified and commercially endorsed yacht captain with an engineering background. Proudly coming from the city of yachting, Antibes France, where the sailing industry was a natural direction for such an ocean loving individual. Sailing from his young age, he started out thirteen years ago as deckhand and working his way up to Engineer he has became a Captain with over 70,000Nm and few crossings under his belt in global destinations such as the red sea, the Mediterranean, Atlantic and the Bahamas. Qualified advanced diver with huge interest in adventuring & water sports, swimming, fishing and kite surfing as an addition, he spends more time on the water than on land. With a deep appreciation of the Oceans, he prides himself for the care of health and wellbeing of our blue planet. Charles happily promotes SY Cartouche as her Captain where he aim to share his passion and provide high service. CHEF: Emanuele LANZONI Italian STCW 95 Culinary High School Diploma Italian food hygiene certificate Level 2 Language: Fluent English Emanuele is a 41 years old Italian chef with more than 20 years experienced and a strong sense of responsibility. The covid pandemia pushed him to face new challenges and approach the yachting industry. Since 2020 he is a private chef, working on yachts, private villas and mountain chalets. That gave him the opportunity to travel and work in different parts of the world. He sees every new assignment as a chance to learn and grow as a chef. He loves to create menus tailored to his guests, their dietary needs and preferences. He’s always focused on the guests satisfaction which he considers as to be his goal and duty. He never missed a chance to try new restaurants with friends or family and he loves to trek, bike or snowboard. STEWARDESS: Noémie DIAQUES French STCW 200 - CEFCM - B1B2 visa Languages: Fluent English, Italian, Spanish Noemie is from a Mediterranean coastal city, La Ciotat, in south of France. She grew up enjoying sailing on her Dads monohull. She studied tourism and management, but her love for the ocean introduced her to yachting. Between Mediterranean and Caribbean, for 7 years now she has been working on charter yacht as Ss/y MAITAI or MY Princess 72S.. She is a hard and positive worker and always approaches guests and her crew mates with a welcoming smile. With cocktails making, service and housekeeping experience, Noemie always goes the extra mile to deliver hight standards service. In her spare time, she enjoys free diving in the places her yacht is visiting. She loves the idea of a new adventure, meeting new people and still has many places on her bucket list that she wishes to travel to. standards MATE-ENGINEER: Dimitri PRUDENT French Master 200 GT with sailing specialty - Engineer 750 KW Language: Fluent English Born in the Caribbean islands, Martinique. Dimitri grew up in a fishing village, where he enjoyed sailing on laser and snorkeling. Working on the sea seemed a perfect fit for him. He obtained his yacht Master and engineer licenses in his early twenties. During his career he had the opportunity to work on different positions, various size and type of vessel between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean Sea. He can perform assigned tasks efficiently with a positive attitude in addition to interacting in a professional manner. He practices every type of water sport and enjoy sharing his passion with the guests.

This is reflecting my cuisine style: simple, light, tide to the italian traditions, tasty but at the same time healthy by the use of international technics acquired during the years. Obviously this would be tailored according with the guest preferences.

All breakfasts are served with coffee, tea, milk, chocolate, local fresh fruits juice and fresh fruits, yogurts.Eggs scrambles, fried, boiled or omelet, with spinach, mushrooms, ham. Plate of cheese, bacon and hamHomemade bread, brioche and cakes. Pancakes, crepes or bagels.

Built in 2011, Cartouche celebrates the ocean in style, offering relaxed luxury with her abundance of deck space and grants access to the world's most beautiful, hard-to-reach anchorages thanks to her shallow draft.

Guest Accommodation

Cartouche offers guest accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising a master suite and three double cabins. There are 4 beds in total, including 1 king and 3 doubles. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, notably air conditioning to keep your comfortable throughout your charter.

Performance & Range

Cartouche is built with a composite hull and composite superstructure. Powered by twin Cummins engines, she comfortably cruises at 8 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 1,500 nautical miles from her 2,115 gallon fuel tanks at cruising speed.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Cartouche. Principle among these are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Additionally, there are two F5 SEABOBs providing agile cruising and diving. Another excellent feature are wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough Cartouche also features fishing equipment, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. Cartouche features two tenders, but leading the pack is a SeaDoo Tender to transport you in style.

Accommodation: Luxury Sailing Catamaran CARTOUCHE can accommodate up to 8 yacht charter guests in 4 luxuriously appointed en-suite cabins. The guests will have a total of 4 double cabins including a vast master suite. All cabins are en-suite and with their own individual air con and audio-video entertainment systems etc.

Luxury Sailing Cat CARTOUCHE super yacht crew: There are four crew members on board at all times. Southafrican captain Angelo Yon is highly experienced and motivated captain very keen to welcome you on board and allow you to experience a superyacht lifestyle like no other.  Canadian stewardess Anais Levert will ensure your stay on board is exemplary and will meticulously plan every aspect of your charter with you and your family.  The professional chef has extraoridinary menues to choose from and the deckhand will always be ready to prepare the water toys at every anchorage when required.

De-Luxe Sailing Catamaran CARTOUCHE charter prices: CARTOUCHE  super yacht charter prices start at 60,000 Euros (65,000 Eur from 2020/2021) and are as high as 65,000 Eur in high season. These rates are under MYBA terms and plus all expenses.  In some locations VAT can be charged on top. When in the Caribbean the usual charter rates are 65,000 US$'s per week plus all APA Expenses (70,000 US$'s during Christmas/NEW Year holidays).  The charter rates can be higher on special days such as NEW YEAR or during special events such as Antigua boat show or racing events such as the Buckets. Special offers, negotiated deals and last minute discounts are available on request.

Luxury sailing yacht CARTOUCHE is fully air conditioned throughout. This is a non-smoking vessel. CARTOUCHE ´s experienced super yacht charter crew of up to 4 including the captain, have a separate head and shower and companionway. Guests may not be allowed to bring pets on-board.

Luxury Sailing Catamaran CARTOUCHE TENDER: Private charter yacht CARTOUCHE has a large’ super yacht tender on board with a powerful outboard suitable for luxury transfers as well as extensive exploration of the coastline or water skiing.

De-luxe Sailing Catamaran itineraries: Luxury Sailing Catamaran CARTOUCHE is usually offering exclusive private yacht charter holidays around the breathtaking East Caribbean coastline throughout the winter months. Her favourite luxury crewed yacht charter destinations are in the British Virgin Islands or anywhere between Saint Martin and the Grenadines. One way and tandem charters in some parts of the Caribbean, including Virgin Islands, may also be offered on request. During the summer, the yacht is due to sail in the Balearics, between the islands of Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera. Crew Gratuity – Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 10% -15% of the charter fee is customary.

APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an estimate (usually 30% of the charter rate) paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.

MYBA terms will apply.

Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus VAT plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.

Offered by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht CARTOUCHE is a 95 ft sailing catamaran featuring a hot tub. The highlights of CARTOUCHE are her well-chosen interiors and culinary experience. CARTOUCHE spends the summer and winter season in France. She was completed by the renowned boatbuilder Jean-Jacque Coste in 2011. A well-done refit was completed in 2017 - 2021 - 2022. The ingenious yacht layout features 4 generous cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.

CARTOUCHE is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The central space of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is expansive, with a comfortable dining and seating area and usually it where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The fascinating cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes provide a connection with the natural world outside.

The sailboat features Twin 425 Cummins Generators Twin 17 KW x2 engines and a generator.

Our shared passion is the sea. What we love is to share these magical moments, a perfect anchorage, sunrises or race with dolphins and to offer to our guests an unforgettable experience. We have been on board the Catamaran BLACK CAT for the last 3 years, cruising and chartering Greece waters & the Caribbean for the same owner who has now purchased CARTOUCHE our new adventure ! Sebastien knows perfectly the wakeboard and love learn and frame nautical sports. For those who like to put the head under water, we accompany who wants for snorkeling. We are both dive master and level 4 CMAS and know very well marine species from Mediterranean and west indies. Sebastien studied manufacturing plastic and composite. He began to work by producing carbon mast for sailing vessels like one off, race and for famous shipyards. After spending 8 years of manufacture he had decided to focus on sail. His several navigations, offshore and inshore, and greats knowing permit him to become a Captain. He gets all his degrees top of his class. He had sailing on a lot of kind of vessels like monohulls, catamarans and trimarans. As he had many miles on the sea he is prepared and trained for all types of situations. Cruises be held in a climate of trust and security. His seriousness and perfectionism are exploited to be as close as possible to the expectations of his guests. Pauline was always passioned by cook. She became cook 8 years ago for the first time on a sailing vessel. She decided to learn also to sail. She passed his captain license, so she can help the captain when he needs. Each new destination is perfect to learn new recipes. She knows very well French cook but also Italian, West indies, Polynesian, and Asian cook. She especially like to cook fresh fish that she buys on the coast or the best way, the one we fish! She only works with very fresh products and as possible organic. Meals are always healthy and balanced. But she doesn’t forget the gourmand, she cooked also delicious pastries. She proposes during all day different snacks, sweet or salted, and cocktails or smoothies. CARTOUCHE is a 29-meter luxury catamaran launched in 2011 by H2X shipyard and extensively refitted in 2017.  Her elegant exterior and interior styling are the work of Coste Design & Partners, who is also responsible for her engineering. As one of the most exclusive, luxurious and elegant sailing catamarans anywhere, she provides exemplary presence, premium feel and superior features on board.

DESTINATIONS

CARTOUCHE has her base port in Greece and she is available for charter during the summer in the Mediterranean. Charter catamaran CARTOUCHE is perfect for active-minded guests looking for fun on the sea without compromises to comfort and luxury as well as those guests seeking for the ultimate retreat in the Med.

ACCOMMODATION & DECK AREAS

CARTOUCHE ´s interior layout can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 luxurious staterooms, including an Owner´s suite on the main deck and three guest staterooms located in the port and starboard hulls, all with en suite bathroom facilities, which can be rearranged depending on requirements. . The main deck saloon has comfortable seating, an entertainment centre and a formal dining area while the aft deck covered saloon has a bar and a more casual dining area.

Up on the flybridge is a helm station and amidships a dining area served by a bar and grill. Large sun pads can be found on either side of the spa pool and there is a dumb waiter bringing special treats up from the galley. Steps lead down to the water at the aft end of each hull and there is storage for water toys in each. CARTOUCHE was designed to be sailed with minimal crew and, accordingly, most of her deck equipment is operated hydraulically, including a rotating mast by Pettijean Composites and a High Modulus hydraulic furling boom. Sails are by North Sails and the deck equipment was supplied by Harken.

PERFORMANCE

Powered by two Cummins diesel engines of 425 hp each, one in each hull, CARTOUCHE has a cruising speed of 8 knots, a maximum speed of 14 knots and a range of 1.500 nautical miles from her fuel tanks.

CARTOUCHE is equipped with a styled hydraulic furling boom operated from the helm station and with an automatic bagging system to protect the sails. This allows a very safe and easy sail reduction and opens new perspectives in the manoeuvring of giant sailing catamarans.

CARTOUCHE catamaran stands for unparalleled fun boasting a small armada of water toys to entertain friends, couples and families usually on offer with much larger superyachts. CARTOUCHE yacht is one of the most elegant sailing catamarans in the world, designed by the renowned naval architectural office of Coste Design & Partners. The luxury catamaran features overs 12 metres of the beam and a length of 28.8 metres. This Blue Coast 95' yacht Cartouche offers premium performance and superior comfort combining modern styling with elegant aerodynamic lines.

Accommodation on board is offered in an Owner's cabin on the main deck, with an en-suite bathroom. Furthermore, there are three guest cabins, each with a bathroom and a shower and a crew cabin for four with a bathroom and a shower. The Blue Coast 95' yachts can be conceived with different layouts to make the boast suitable for yacht charter, as well as for private yacht use.

All the sails and mooring commands are operated from the helm station. All the sails are made in 3DL by North Sails. The sail plan shows a full battened 235m² fat head mainsail with carbon furling boom, a 115m² hydraulic furling self-tacking jib and a 280-m² Gennaker which provides additional power in light wind conditions.    

The Blue Coast 95’ is equipped with a very efficient high modulus carbon wing mast build by  Petitjean Composites. The Kevlar standing rigging promotes simplicity, lightweight, low drag and high efficiency. Mast and boom are studied using 3D technology and finite element analysis.

The S/Y Cartouche is equipped with a styled hydraulic furling boom operated from the helm station and with an automatic bagging system to protect the sails. This allows a very safe and easy sail reduction and opens new perspectives in the manoeuvring of giant sailing catamarans.    

CARTOUCHE Specifications

Sailing yacht Cartouche is fitted with twin 425hp Cummins QSB 5.9 engines, which can power her up to a maximum speed of 14 knots. Her range at cruising speed is of 1,500 nautical miles.

Amenities and water toys include one Zodiac 4.5 metre tender with 40ho Yamaha and a Kawasaki STX 15 F Jet Ski.

A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance)

• 30% of the charter price:  To cover the following costs, but not limited to: fuel, fuel for tender and water sports equipment; food and beverages for the Charter Party; berthing dues and other harbor charges including pilots ’fees, local taxes, divers’ fees, customs formalities, charges for waste disposal, charges for water and electricity taken from shore; shipping agents’ fees where applicable; Charter Party personal laundry; hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer’s request, shoreside transport and excursions, national park entrances and other costs for services requested by Charter Party during the charter and all other costs not specified as included. A.P.A is paid by the Client in addition to the charter fee for all relevant costs for the vessel that are not included in the charter fee. If A.P.A does not cover complete costs, the Client will pay exceeding the amount on board in cash. If costs made on charter are less than the amount is given as A.P.A, the amount that was not spent will be returned to the Client at the end of the voyage. A.P.A does not include a tip for the crew.

• Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually, it is 7% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.

How does the charter agreement work?

Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board. 

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. 

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed. 

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion. 

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.

How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change. 

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.

Do any other taxes apply?

For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.
