Marina Yachtzentrum Kappeln – Schleswig Holstein – Germany

The port of the Kappeln Yacht Center includes four piers with around 75 berths up to 14.5 m in length with a water depth of up to 10 m. Guest berths can be recognized by green signs. The modern shower and toilet building is located directly on the pier.

There is a boatyard with a 19 t crane next to the harbor. The club room in the port building can be rented for groups. The Kappeln Yacht Center offers comprehensive “all-round support” for skipper, yacht and crew.

Specialist companies for boat building, underwater ship renovation, yacht trading, yacht equipment and yacht service will be presented directly at the Schlei. The perfect service is rounded off by an engine workshop, a Seldén rig service as well as a sail maker and a winter storage service. There is a supermarket directly behind the YZK site. There are sufficient paid parking spaces on secured property (optional in halls).

Since 2013, water sports enthusiasts can also travel by mobile home and enjoy the beautiful city of Kappeln directly with Schleiblick.

Local security forces brought 15 men to a military enlistment office after a mass brawl at a warehouse of the Russian Wildberries company in Elektrostal, Moscow Oblast on Feb. 8, Russian Telegram channel Shot reported .

29 people were also taken to police stations. Among the arrested were citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

A mass brawl involving over 100 employees and security personnel broke out at the Wildberries warehouse in Elektrostal on Dec. 8.

The choice is yours to make: Situated at the northern end of the river Ryck, which meets the Baltic Sea in the bay of Greifswald, the Marina Yacht Center is located approximately at half-distance between Rügen and Usedom. An ideal starting point to explore Western Pomerania’s waters by boat! Here, we have collected a small selection of interesting tourist destinations near Greifswald:

Seebad Lubmin

• Distance: 15 sea miles

The only seaside resort of the Bay of Greifswald, Lubmin features picturesque cliffs, wide sandy beaches and extended forested areas along the coast. Shallow waters make the Lubmin beach a wonderful and safe place for children. A beautiful seafront promenade and a 350 meter long pier offer perfect opportunities for a leisurely stroll.

Hanseatic City of Stralsund – UNESCO World Heritage Site ´Historic Old Town´

The Stralsund old town has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002. There are more than 500 historic brick buildings – many of them with amazing little boutiques or shopping arcades. Thus, you may not only satisfy your appetite for cultural sightseeing, but squeeze in some shopping to boot.

Historical and Technical Information Center Peenemünde

“The Cradle of Space Travel” is another name for Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania’s largest industrial heritage site. During the Third Reich, Peenemünde saw the development of the “Vengeance Weapon 2”. The Information Center documents the history of these efforts. Large open air exhibition grounds show historic rockets, helicopters and airplanes.

Island Usedom

• Distance: 21 sea miles (to harbour Peenemünde)

Endless, wide beaches of the softest sand, shallow depths and gently sloping banks characterize Usedom’s shoreline, a favorite spot for German summer vacationers and their offspring. Ahlbeck, Bansin and Heringsdorf – the three “Emperor’s Resorts” – delight visitors with their sophisticated resort architecture. They absolutely warrant a visit at every time of the year.

Island Hiddensee

• Distance: half day  trip, depending on destination ( when crossing the Strelasund, consider bridge opening times )

“Sötes Länneken” (sweet little spot) is the endearing name the locals have for that small and beautiful islet on the western side of Germany’s largest island. Hiddensee is a part of the Western Pomeranian Lagoon Area National Park. The traffic-free island has preserved much of its early 20th century charm, which at the time attracted legions of artists and writers to its rugged, beautiful coasts.

Island Rügen

• Distance: half day or extended day trip, depending on destination
