KISMET Yacht – Extraordinaire $200M Superyacht

With a value of approximately $200 million dollars, the weekly charter rate costs the incredible US $1.2 Million per week.

She was bought in 2014 after she was launched by Luerssen from Hamburg, Germany.

She has won several awards for her unique design including The World Superyacht Awards in 2015 and she was finalized for the ShowBoats Design Awards in 2016.

The name KISMET stands for the word for “destiny” or “fate” in Urdu which is the owner’s native language.

Inside the KISMET yacht is just as luxurious as you might expect. The interior was designed by Reymond Langton , an award-winning design company that specializes in luxury yachts.

The owners Pascale Reymond and Andrew Langton have completed a wide range of significant projects since they founded their company in 2001.

Some of the yachts they worked on include AVIVA, TITAN, SERENE, and KAOS. 

Based in Bath in the United Kingdom Reymond Langton says of themselves that they prioritize balance, proportion, and emphasis in all of their designs.

KISMET is a prime example of their high-quality work that is tailor-made to every project they uptake.

KISMET yacht is equipped with state-of-the-art luxury amenities such as a spa, movie theatre, a grand piano, large pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and barbecue area.

She was designed in the style of a luxury five-star hotel with a “champagne and caviar theme” including a black marble deck, a full gym, helipads, and an elevator. 

Of course, there is high-speed internet available on board allowing guests to be connected wherever they go.

One of the bathtubs is made of solid onyx and there is even a retractable fireplace with an integrated waterfall and a winter garden deck.

The main saloon is constructed at double height and features full-length video walls allowing for incredible movie nights. 

This yacht can welcome up to 12 guests in 7 cabins. There is a lavish owner’s suite, a master bedroom, two VIP suites, two standard double rooms as well as two twins.

28 crew members find space in below-deck cabins. The owner’s suite includes walk-in wardrobes, a private jacuzzi, and his and her bathrooms. This yacht is designed for entertaining and events. With several salons and a lot of deck space, she is ideal for hosting lavish parties and celebrations.

The aft deck is directly connected to a sports bar which can even be transformed into a dance floor reminiscent of a luxurious nightclub in the evenings.

High-quality wood, leather, and marble decorate the interior of the vessel with influences of Art Deco design.

This yacht truly achieves its design goal and lets guests feel as though they were staying in a luxurious hotel.

Intricate wall designs and custom-made marble flooring take this yacht to the next level and provide true luxury.

Specifications

KISMET yacht measures a length of 95 meters (311 ft) with a 13.8 meter (45.3 ft) beam and a 3.75 meter (12.4 ft) draft.

Since she barely lies under the 100-meter mark, she is currently considered the 63rd largest motor yacht in the world. Manufactured from steel and aluminum, this yacht is durable and versatile. 

Her two propellers are diesel-type 3516C-HD engines with an impressive 5438 horsepower. At a weight of 2928 tons, she can reach cruising speeds of 12 knots and maximum speeds of 17 knots under ideal conditions.

Her fuel tanks allow her to have a range of up to 6000 nautical miles, which is considerable for her size.

The beautiful exterior of KISMET was designed by Espen Oeino, a renowned name in the world of superyachts.

Forbes has described him as the “superhero of superyacht design” in the past. His studio is based in Monaco, although he is originally from Norway.

She is one of his most famous projects and played a significant role in his career as a naval architect and designer. She features a large pool with mosaic tiles and an adjacent jacuzzi on the upper foredeck.

This area of the vessel provides breathtaking views over the ocean and nearby scenery. Even further up, there is a separate observation deck perfect for taking photos or watching the sunset. The large helipad on the bow can also be used as a small basketball court allowing for an unforgettable match. There is a secondary helipad on the bridge deck that can be used for sun lounging.

Underwater lighting and modern stabilizers are additional features that the KISMET yacht provides. This vessel was designed with eco-friendliness in mind despite its high energy usage.

KISMET features a so-called “closed-loop system” that heats the pool and jacuzzi using energy from the engines. This system is incredibly efficient and sets her apart from other vessels in her size range. 

The bowsprit is decorated with a four-foot jaguar statue that ties the exceptionally luxurious and unique design together.

It symbolizes the NFL team Jackson Jaguars which belongs to the current owner of KISMET.

Toys and equipment

As a charter yacht, the KISMET yacht is equipped with an array of toys to entertain those onboard.

Several jet skis, scuba diving, and snorkeling equipment, as well as four tenders, are always at disposal of the guests.

She also provides towable water toys, which are consistently among her most popular during the charter.

KISMET is far from a standard yacht. She has actually been featured in the Netflix film 6 Underground starring Ryan Reynolds.

On past charters, the yacht has welcomed A-list celebrities such as Beyonce and Jay-Z making her one of the most popular charter yachts in the world.

The motor yacht KISMET is a 68 m 224 (foot) lengthy steel boat which was produced by Lurssen Yachts and designed by Lurssen and Espen Oeino. A impressive tri deck yacht KISMET is a very distinctive German built superyacht which was launched to celebration in 2006. Accommodating 12 guests and 22 qualified crew, motor yacht KISMET used to be (Project Falcon) which was her build project name or yacht title. She could be described as a recent tri deck yacht. Launched to celebration in the year of 2006 her interior decoration exhibits the insight of Reymond Langton Design.

Lurssen was the naval architecture company involved in the professional vessel composition for KISMET. Her interior design was completed by Reymond Langton Design. Lurssen and Espen Oeino is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. Built at Lurssen Yachts this vessel was built in the recognised yachting country Germany. She was officially launched in Rendsburg in 2006 before being delivered to the owner. The main hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure is made mostly using aluminium. With a beam of 12.8 m or 41.1 feet KISMET has impressive size. A reasonably deep draught of 3.65m (12ft) affects the amount of certain marinas she can visit, taking into account their minimum characteristics.

Powered by twin CATERPILLAR diesel engines, KISMET can attain a maximum speed of 16 knots. KISMET is propelled by twin screw propellers. She also has an economical range of 5000 nautical miles whilst sailing at her cruise speed of 14 knots. Her total HP is 3914 HP and her total Kilowatts are 3000. With respect to the ship’s stabalisers she uses Quantum Zero Speed 4 Fin.

Super luxury Motor yacht KISMET was delivered by Lrssen in late 2014, she is the most spectacular luxury yachts in the charter world. The Coco Chanel-inspired owners suite shows a softer side of KISMET, with Lalique lighting, floor-to-ceiling windows, an office and a bedside fireplace. The suite has its own outdoor veranda with a hot tub and sunpads overlooking the forward deck, and the owners private access to the helipad. On the lower deck, yacht KISMET's hammam spa raises the bar for Turkish baths everywhere. Persian-inspired motif of handmade textiles, embossed leather, exotic woods, carved stone and commissioned artwork, its an onboard temple of relaxation spanning a hot tub, cold plunge pool, steam shower and massage room. Forty-two 50-inch flat-screen TVs and etched-glass flooring help give the two-story atrium of the main and upper decks its sexy luminosity. A two-story atrium spanning the aft main and upper decks offers a flat-screen TVs that rose from floor to ceiling.

Sabre Yachts has built some of the most well-appointed performance cruisers, and the 426 is one of its best. Superb joinery, quality sailing gear and Jim Taylor’s solid design set the Sabre 426 apart from many of today’s production boats. The interior design creates a straightforward, comfortable two-couple cruising layout while the moderate proportions and ample sail area provide good performance even in light winds. Taylor has designed several racer-cruisers and all-out racers in this size range and it shows in the 426’s sailing performance.

KISMET spent most of her life on the Great Lakes until late in 2016 when she was trucked from Harbor Springs, Michigan to Marion, Massachusetts. Since 2017 KISMET has enjoyed summer sailing in New England with inside winter storage and annual maintenance at Burr Brothers Boats. Her flag blue topsides, varnished toe rail, handrails, and beautifully crafted solid cherry woodwork convey KISMET’s high-quality feel. Inspection shows KISMET in superb condition with an interior largely free of dings, scratches, or stains. KISMET shows as a much newer boat than her stated age.  With her shoal draft wing keel, air conditioning, and updated electronics, KISMET is an excellent option for sailors wishing to cruise the east coast and beyond. Her superb condition makes this desirable Sabre 426 an excellent value.

KISMET is now hauled and stored inside a heated shed at Burr Brothers Boats in Marion, Massachusetts for the winter.  Inspection is available by appointment with our Rhode Island-based agent.

ACCOMMODATIONS :

The interior of the Sabre 426 is hand crafted of the finest American cherry with a teak and holly sole. Satin varnish gives the wood a delicate sheen, which accents the highly detailed joinery work featuring Sabre’s signature cold-molded curved laminated trim not found in other yachts. The generous headroom measures 6’6″ in the main salon and aft areas, and 6’4″ in the forward cabin. Drawers are maple dove tailed construction with smooth sliding roller guides. Locker doors have fully louvered fronts, recessed self-closing hinges, and positive sealing push-button latches. Overhead spotlights, reading lights and counter lights are thoughtfully placed.

Forward is the roomy, bright master stateroom with a queen-size centerline berth surrounded by many drawers and lockers. The hanging locker is cedar lined. Aft to port is the head, with a separate shower stall including a teak seat and floor grate as well as a wet locker. The head is equipped with a Jabsco electric freshwater toilet with macerator, and all hoses were replaced in 2022.

The full beam salon has two 6’5” settees, the port side converts to a double berth. The salon also includes an entertainment center with stereo and 15” flat screen tv forward of the starboard settee. The dining table is bulkhead mounted and opens to accommodate 7-8 people. The salon settees are covered in Cologne Ultrasuede. Storage is plentiful both above and outboard of the settees.

Aft of the salon to starboard is the U-shaped galley , equipped with a 3-burner Force 10 propane stove with oven; open shelves are above and outboard of the stove. The galley also includes a microwave and 12-volt Sea Frost refrigerator/freezer with doors for front and top loading. A convenient under-counter dish locker is located outboard of the double stainless-steel sinks, and storage is plentiful with three large lockers for dry goods and five drawers for utensils and gadgets.

Across from the galley is the forward-facing nav station . The design of the chart table allows for use of a laptop and simultaneous access to the storage area in the table. There is a multi-function display at the nav station and two USB outlets for charging electronics. Behind the nav station, the aft cabin is spacious and airy. A convenient vanity and sink are found at the entrance to the cabin, a cedar lined hanging locker is outboard of the sink, and many drawers are provided for storage.

There are overhead hatches (v-berth and salon new in 2021) and stainless-steel opening ports in all of the cabins. The lighting throughout the vessel has been upgraded to Imtra Concord LED lights. There are screens for all opening ports and fans are mounted in the v-berth, salon, galley, and aft cabin. The shades were replaced in 2023 with Sunbrella Toast pleated shades. Reverse cycle air conditioning throughout was installed in 2010. Counters in the galley, head, and aft cabin are Cameo White Corian.

CONSTRUCTION:

Vacuum-bagged, Divinycell-cored structure hand laminated with structural E-glass. Outer layers use vinylester resins for waterproofness. Sleek inward turning hull to deck joint with integral 2 1/4″ high teak toe rail, secured with 3M 5200 sealant and stainless steel through bolts. Bulkheads, berth faces, shelves, and floor stringers are all bonded to the hull and each other to provide additional structural reinforcement and the super solid feel Sabre is renowned for.

Keeping up with technology has to go hand in hand with our desire to build the finest possible sailing yachts for our clients. The Sabre 426 hull and deck will be built using vacuum bagged, closed cell, cross linked PVC foam and structural E Glass, which will give her one of the strongest, lightest, most durable structures available today. Hull lines, underwater appendages and rigs were drawn by Jim Taylor Yacht Design. The deck, deck styling and interior were accomplished by the Sabre Design Team. The result is a yacht which will, like her siblings, establish a benchmark in sailing that will endure for many years to come.
