We had a great couple of nights on board the Zen Dog, I took my two boys (9 & 11) and they loved the novelty of staying & sleeping on a boat. It was also comfortable and the YouTube video the owner sent made the check-in very smooth. We enjoyed eating out at the Haven Restaurant (a few minutes walk away) aswell as in Lymington. The boat is well situated for walks as well as for getting to the Isle of Wight. I used the shower on the boat and found it to be good, but for ease I used the nearby facilities for showering the children and they were excellent.

The boat was very clean and spacious. Instructions clear. Everything had been thought of. So peaceful on the marina! Would recommend!

Amazing stay on this fabulous boat. The location is perfect, with views across to the Isle of Wight and some great walks from the boat. Zen Dog is very comfortable, clean and well organised. We slept well and enjoyed just relaxing on the boat and being on deck when the sun came out. Everything we needed was provided and we ate out locally - the Haven bar and restaurant os excellent. The Marina is a great place to walk around with a handy shop. The showers were a joy to use! Very clean and luxurious. The owner is easy to contact and comms are very good. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The whole experience was very good as we also used the 5* facilities which Mike had recommended. The boat was very comfortable and Mike had sent a video explaining how everything worked which was excellent.

The whole experience was superb. Communication from Mike was excellent. The boat was well equipped and a fantastic place for some quality family time.

We only really slept on the boat and had breakfast as we were attending a wedding. Beds comfortable.

Great location, lovely boat and wonderful facilities at the marina. The boat was nice clean, in good condition except 1 seat which was showing a ding of wear. Easy to access the keys and easy to operate to make the stay comfortable.

We love staying on Zen Dog this is a luxury boat with everything you need and more. There’s a fabulous shower block if you don’t want to use the boats facilities and a wonderful restaurant in the Marina. Zen dog has a fabulous sliding roof which opens up the upper deck to let in the wonderful sunshine which we were so lucky to have. There is plentiful seating on the upper and lower deck. You can also sit up front on lovely big cushions with a view of the Isle of Wight and the other boats. There’s also efficient heaters in bedrooms lower and upper decks which were great for the chilly mornings. Loved everything about Zen Dog

The 88.4m/290' motor yacht 'Zen' was built by Feadship in the Netherlands at their Amsterdan shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Nauta Design and she was delivered to her owner in April 2021. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of De Voogt.

Zen has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 25 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Zen is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M63L) 16-cylinder 3,046hp engines running at 1800rpm, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots. Her water tanks store around 60,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠ 100A1 SSC Yacht, Mono, G6 ✠ LMC, UMS classification society rules.

How Can We Help?

Opening zen dog up.

Zen Dog is securely tied up to her pontoon. Please don’t mess with the ropes. If you are worried that they don’t seem tight enough, call the Marina Office and they’ll gladly pop down and secure her. In a strong westerly wind, she can move up to a metre away from the starboard (right) side pontoon. Don’t worry – this is quite normal. She has to be allowed to move so as not to get damaged if she bobs in the opposite direction to the floating pontoon.

Zen Dog has canvas “camper covers” that protect her stern seating area from bad weather. Open up the door zips on the right hand (starboard) side and, if you want to, roll the door opening cover up. The clips at the top are a bit fiddly.

In nice weather, feel free to roll up all of the camper covers but take great care and make sure that you supervise children.

As you step on board, you are in the cockpit.

You’ll see the “helm” (steering wheel) ahead and on the right. It is normally covered.

You can now turn the cockpit lights on. The switch is on the side of the helm seat. Push once for white lights, twice for funky blue ones

The key you’ve collected opens the door down to the saloon and cabins.

The lock is open when the key is horizontal. However, take care like this – it would be possible for children to lock themselves inside the boat using the deadlock switch inside.

If you turn the key as far as it will go clockwise and remove the key, you’ve triggered a safety catch that prevents anyone inside sliding the deadlock from the open (red) position to the locked position.

IN AN EMERGENCY – YOU CAN EXIT VIA THE ESCAPE HATCH ABOVE THE BED IN THE FORWARD CABIN

Take Extreme Care on the steps down to the saloon. Don’t let kids play on them!

When you reach the bottom of the steps, turn around and look at them. You’ll see the saloon light switches to the left of the steps at eye level.

The 5th edition of the International exhibition of yachts and boats –  Moscow Boat Show , held from March 20 to 25, 2012 will be hosted by the first pavilion of Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. This popular show is dedicated not only to the specialists of the market segment and professional sportsmen but also to those who consider sailing sport to be their hobby and well cherished dream.

The project is the result of joint efforts of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre and the National Marine Industry Association. The event is supported by Aston Martin Moscow, Burevestnik Group logistics department and the Yachting specialized magazine. Moscow Boat Show is the largest project in Russia presenting all the best in the world of yachting.

The exhibition annually shows high level of attendance and has already proved as significant and noteworthy event in the world of yachts and boats. Every year new exhibitors join the list of participants, genuine “sharks” of yachting business, the quantity of visitors considerably increases and the exposition becomes more sated and diverse.

The best companies professionally involved into yachting and small navigation business – 180 exhibitors from 17 regions of the Russian Federation and 15 countries traditionally presented the best and the newest in the world of yachting at 2011 edition: from design and facilitation of vessels and up to cruising and training courses for beginning skippers. In 2011 the overall exhibit space comprised 18 000 sq m. More than 25 000 visitors came to the show.

This year the exposition space will increase up to 30 000 sq m and will be accommodated in 4 exhibition halls. The scale of the project confirms confident positions of its positive development. The organizers will try to arrange a genuine fiesta of water on land!

Quite a number of foreign exhibitors will participate in the show. Foreign companies show increasing interest to yachting business in Russia.

Moscow Boat Show provides the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships. Despite the dynamic changes taking place in Russia and the rapid growth of the yachting sector, the show continues to complement and reflect the industry’s demand and is a promotional opportunity not to be missed!

As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years Moscow Boat Show 2012 has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allow all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential.

Moscow Boat Show helps representatives of yachting business to get acquainted with their Russian colleagues and gradually improves national yachting market to a new level. It is obvious that for 4 years of its running the project has turned to a status event of the international exhibitions calendar. The organizers of the exhibition aim to bring together on the same platform all key national and worldwide players and to offer an excellent platform to encourage networking among specialists and visitors in order to accelerate the development in this field as well as implementing new technologies, the newest equipment, materials and components.
